Other than the atoms of our being we share
fragmented memories of the missiles launched by allies turned axis as
the warfront of our minds leaks into the physical of
battered, broken soldiers as we scream, silently
unknown and wrecked by the battlefield and
I can't tell what the difference between enemy and friendly fire is and
I would jump on a grenade, but they never roll close enough.
Who does that save anyway?
