Win's POV
"Have you ever............. like me, then?" He asked, my eyes widened upon hearing his question and my heart beats fast as if I ran in a marathon. Yes, I like you..
"H-huh?" I heard it correctly, but my brain is not working properly now that I have heard his words. I did know the answer but my mouth and my heart betrays me.
'I like you since...' I said on my mind.... not uttering words I kept on looking at him. His hopeful eyes looking back at me.
"Y-y-you? What are you saying??? The afternoon break will end s-soon. We have to go back to the students...." I said as I was about to stand up and leave, my knees were trapped by his knees and he pulls me closer to him. His hands were now on my waist. Great! As my breathing starting to get heavy due to our closeness and nervousness crept upon my system.
"Isn't y-your arm h-hurting? Look at how strong you are!" I said putting my hand to his shoulder to stop leaning more closer to him.
"Answer me, please..," he said as he still holding my hand and his other hand still on my waist. I saw his eyes pleading for my answer.
"Have you.......ever like me?" he asks me again staring back at me
The old memories keep on flashing back. As I stare him.
You never knew that you were my star.
During my most helpless and cold times, you were my warmth; you were someone whom I relied on. You were my sunshine through my darkest days.
But you never knew.....
What kind of feelings I'd concealed or hide since....
"I.......like...... you" I said as I look back, his eyes that looks at me, so lovingly, I felt him flinched as he heard my three words
"I have always liked you" this is now or never. But I totally moved on. Did I? I ask my self. Did I already moved on? As I closed my eyes.
"I know it in myself, that I was bad-tempered, I was an eccentric type of persom. But you never kept a distance from me. When I was ignored and being leave out in the coldness, you stood by my side. I relied on you. "I sighed, trying to control my feelings. I can't do this anymore. Everything goes back. The tears I have shed. The pain....
"And I felt really lucky to have........ a friend liked you," I said it trying to suppress the pain I felt at this moment. I flash a smile at him. But inside I am screaming....I like you Bright..and it pained me so much to say those words to you but...now I know you're happy.
Pain I can see it in his eyes as he tilt his head looking towards the window. "I see. A friend, huh?" he said lowering his gaze and he let go of my arm standing as he wipes away the non-existant dust on his pants.
Great! Just great Win! I shouted deep in my thoughts. I'm sorry.
"But, it might not be in the future." He said as he stands up, what does he mean in the future. I ask my self standing froze beside him.
What?! As confusion hits me.
"Let's go now." He walks pass right through me as he sled his hands in his pocket.
"Huh? Are you trying to cut ties with me?!" I ask following him. Did he said not might be in the future is he going somewhere or is he....??
"Well, the future is hard to say. Cherish me Win" he said rolling up his sleeve to his arm
"Just what are you planning to do...?" I ask still following him

"Ah, it's my phone," I said while fishing out my phone
"Ah!" I reacted when something drops on the floor from my pocket.
"What's that? "Bright asks as he picks up the bag of candy and handed it to me
"Candies," I said accepting the bag, "JJ went to my Dad's place for a meal, and Light pleaded him to give these candies to me." Looking at the candy bag.
"Ah.... I see." I saw Bright smile, what was he thinking?
"Light likes candies, but his family worries about his teeth, so he was only given one candy per day. He actually did not eat the candies for a week, instead he collected them for me." I said as I looked at the candies on my hand. I am happy.
"He really likes you. If his mother was not that way, you might be able to see him often." Bright said as he taps my shoulder with comfort
"That person was not so detestable from the beginning. At first, she treated me 'nice' too." I felt comfort from his words and warmth.
"Then, why?" He asks in a soft tone
"Because I ruined the thing she looked forward the most," I said and puff an air and stop.. "her wedding," I said sadly
I read the message.

Win, it's been a long time since you came home.
Come home on the third week of October your older brother is back too, let's have a family dinner.
Bright's POV
He likes me I can feel it... but, to think that he said I am only a friend........
I should start from the beginning...
I always like you Win, and always want to see you smile and your warmth. Your joyful self, being a smart one..and your very handsome yet innocent face is a big big bonus.
Everything about you is very precious to me....
I like to have you.
FOR NOW as you said...you like me as a friend, but I want us to be more than a friend....
"What's the matter?" I ask worriedly as I saw his face changed and forrowed brows
"...Nothing, my brother is back. They want me to go back for a family gathering, just dinner." As he put back his phone in his pocket
'I remember that he used to live with her Aunt during high school' as far as I can remember
"I see...when do you plan to go back?" I ask him
"I don't see any reason to go back, I don't need to. That's not my home anyways." He said as he lowers his head..
A week had passed we were all so busy at work. Win has his practicum and me having an assessment activity.
I was checking the assessment test I gave to my students yesterday. When......
Knock knock knock knock-----
I heard a loud knock from the other door. I think it's Win's....
"Win! Are you in there?" as I walked towards my entrance and as I open the door
"JJ?" oh! Two? Twins? I looked at them, the other one has a smile on his face thats JJ, the other one has a serious and smuggy face. They were identical...
"Ah, Bright! Is Win home?" JJ asked as he walks towards me
"I didn't think so....what's the matter?" I ask looking at the man at his back
"Win has disappeared!," JJ said worriedly
"What?!"
