"come in!" the blonde called, swiftly tying her hair back before standing and pulling a hoodie on. facing the door, gyuri straightened when she saw lucas peek in. "good morning. how'd you sleep?"
the girl rubbed her forehead. "dude, i had the trippiest dream."
"oh, i probably should have told you, but we think this room may be haunted-"
"WHAT??!" gyuri jumped away from the bed and hid behind lucas's large frame. "i'm sleeping on the couch thank you very much."
the bartender let out a low chuckle at the girl's reaction, later turning so that he could face her. "hey, you okay?" gyuri looked up, thinking for a second before flashing a fake smile. "besides the weird dream and possible ghosts buddies? bro, i'm homeless."
there was a brief pause as lucas rubbed his palms on his sweatpants. "do you... wanna stay here? we'd have to put your stuff in a unit for now, but you can stay here until finding another place" the nervous, almost stuttery tone of his voice made the younger release a genuine giggle.
"you're really too nice, cas." she didn't say more, simply because she wasn't sure what to say. instead of giving an actual reply, the beaming girl gave the giant a pat on the shoulder and spun towards the doorway.
"what's for breakfast? do you-" gyuri cut herself off with a scream, which was quickly followed by a separate shout from the very surprised person in front of her.
hunched over a half-eaten bowl of cereal was a shirtless xiaojun. his bewildered gaze flicked from gyuri to lucas, pointer finger following his eyes before flinging his arms over his bare chest. "wh.. WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?!"
"WHY ARE YOU SHIRTLESS?!"

a few minutes after lucas explained everything, the blonde was eating her own cereal next to a grumbling xiaojun. "when i said i'm not desperate enough to move in with you, that didn't mean you move in with me."
gyuri simply elbowed him and continued to eat her breakfast. the older boy sighed, pulling at the black t-shirt lucas threw at him.
"have you told the others yet?"
"you're in the chat."
"i keep it on silent, i thought you knew that?"
gyuri went to elbow him again but the emo streamer dodged it and sipped his milk as the girl fell off her stool. "xiaojun, you bitch!"

the blonde brushed herself off as she stood. "and here i thought you softened up a little." the boy snorted. "nope. only for charli and occasionally chaewon."
honestly, gyuri kinda forgot charli existed. the mentioning of the girl made the blonde remember the belloieon group chat and she smiled fondly at the memory.
"... so, how are things with charli?"
"fine. she's thinking about changing her name to charlie with an e cause people clown her." xiaojun snickered with the last words.
"i like it better with the e." gyuri chimed in, and the boy nodded. "me too. it's up to her though, so i'm fine with whatever." the girl 'aww'ed and xiaojun rolled his eyes.
"you're not permanently moving in with us, right?" a small scoff left the younger's lips and she successfully elbowed him again. "you love me too much. but no, i don't think so."
xiaojun narrowed his eyes at the girl. "you're supposed to say 'oh xiaojun, please don't kick me out'. it's not satisfying making you leave if you want to do it anyway."
gyuri scoffed at the way the boy made his voice higher while mimicking her. "whatever. i'm looking for a place. three guys in one apartment is too much for me, even if two of them are shorties."

that was the moment their third and final roommate appeared, a large, loose shirt hanging off his frame as he towel dried his dripping hair. when his eyes landed on the brunette with a face full of cereal, ten's head tipped back with an exaggerated sigh.
"first you take my shirt, now you take my stool. what's next? my babies?" gyuri quickly swallowed her food before leaning back against the bar. "i mean, i have witnessed the greatness that is the bellouieon group chat..."
