Hallo peoples I was told to come back from the grave for a short time to write this chapter and here I am. I got a case of bad writer's block and haven't been updating at all. So I'ma try something else. P.s This is probably gonna be a very short one-shot.
Christmas Day
Ben's POV
Everybody is gathered around the tree taking turns opening presents laughing while the parents talk quietly at watching us. Surprisingly, I had convinced Erica to join us for this Christmas. Christmas day she arrives an hour late sits with the parents at the table avoiding eye contact with everyone. Then Catherine had told her to go sit with us. She gave her one of those "I don't want to" looks. Afterward, Catherine grabbed her arm took her to the couch, and sat her right next to me.
Third Person
Ben: Sooo
Erica: Don't get ahead of yourself
Ben: Come onnn
Erica: I Just said I would come nothing else
Ben: No. You coming comes with everything else
Erica: Says who?
Ben: Says the person that invited you
Erica: Joshua?
Ben: Oh- I see. I'll just go and leave you be
Erica: Ben wait-
Ben is already out the door slamming it
Everybody glances over at Erica
Mike: Ooo Catherine Erica made Ben Maddd Ooooo you're in trouble
Erica: No you're about to be the one in trouble and in a lot of pain
Mike: CATHERINE HELP YOUR DAUGHTER IS A MAD LAD
Erica: Yes, yes I am says while running full speed at Mike
Catherine: Ericaaa
Erica: Yes mOtherrrrr?
Catherine: Go see why Ben is mad
Erica: why mE?
Catherine: Because you're the one that made him mad
Erica: and?
Catherine: Is that talking back?
Erica: Fine
Erica walks outside to find Ben sitting in one of the chairs glaring at the snow
Erica: sigh If you keep looking at the snow like that at some point it's going to start to melt
Ben: No Comment not even a smirk
Erica: sits in the chair next to him
Ben starts to get up but Erica grabs his shirt and sits him back in the chair
Ben: looks over at Erica what do you want?
Erica: You forget who you're talking to
Ben: Hah yeah you obviously forgot who you were talking to when we were inside
Erica: Ben I didn't mean it like that
Ben: Then how did you mean it?
Erica: I- I don't know it just came out
Ben: Another thing you don't know how to do
Erica: What is that?
Ben: Think before you speak
Erica: Ben- gets interrupted by Ben bursting out laughing
Ben: Oh gosh So sorry
Erica: what?
Ben: I was joking I know you didn't mean it
Erica: -_-
Mike yells from inside the house WHAT THE at his gift from Alexander
Chip in the background: FUCK!
Catherine: WATCH YOUR MOUTH KIDS
Ben: Sounds like their having fun wanna head inside
Erica: yeah- Anything is fine than having this conversation
Ben: Smiles widely
Erica: rolls eyes
Both of them head inside with the others having a great Christmas
