Ivana was seated in the lounge area with Bruce. Both, mourning the loss of Thor and Loki. But they were hesitant to believe that Thor is still alive. Ivana sat on the couch, holding her head onto her knees. "Hey, you can see the future isn't it?" Bruce asked Ivana. "In some occasions, yes. It depends on the situation." Ivana replied and sighed.
"So, you say that Thor's still alive?" Bruce asked again. "Yes. He is alive. I've sensed it. But . . ." Ivana paused and exhaled. "Loki . . ." she breathes shakily. She puts her hands over her head.
"I don't sense Loki anymore. I guess he's gone." Ivana said and look at Bruce. "It was a relief that Heimdall could transport Valkyrie and the others to Norway before Thanos could kill all of the Asgardians," Bruce said.
Ivana sighed as she sat on the couch and lean onto the back of it. "Where are Tony and Dr Strange?" Bruce asked. "Somewhere in space. We'll get them when the time comes." Ivana replied. "We need to save them too," Bruce said to her.
"I know. But this is a huge battle, Bruce. This isn't a normal battle. Blood will spill out of people. There will be a lot of sacrifices. For now, what I can say about Tony and Strange in the space, they will be okay." Lady Alexander said.
Their conversation paused when they heard chats outside the lounge. Bruce was the first one to exit the lounge. Followed by Ivana who walks slowly. She hasn't met the Avengers officially yet.
"Uh, I think you look great." Bruce said as a greeting as the other Avengers' turned towards him. "Uh . . ." Bruce sounded and chuckled as he walks into the working space where the other Avengers were.
"Yeah, I'm back." Bruce told them. "Hi, Bruce," Natasha said when she sees him. Ivana then walks up towards the door of the lounge.
The Avengers looked taken aback when they saw Ivana standing at the door frame. When she noticed their eyes on her, she walks up near to Bruce. "She's one of Thor's friends. More like a best friend, actually." He told the other Avengers.
"Nice to meet you. You can call me, Ivana." She introduced herself to the team. "Nice to meet you, Ivana." Captain Rogers said. Ivana nodded and slightly smile.
She noticed the robotic man named Vision was helped by Sam and Wanda. She speaks, "I can help with Vision. Get in here." Ivana said, tilting her head towards the lounge before she enters back the lounge.
The team didn't speak but followed the young lady. Natasha questioned the presence of Ivana towards Rhodey but was answered with another question by the man behind the War Machine, "Why don't you ask her yourself?" Natasha responded with an eye roll.
"Ivana, I think . . . I've met you before." Captain America said as they stepped into the lounge. Ivana slightly smiles. "Me too. I remember seeing you. Somewhere." Wanda agreed. Ivana motioned her hand to put Vision sit on a stool. "Did we ever meet?" Wanda questioned again. Ivana gave a thin smile.
"I don't think so. You must've been mistaken." Ivana said with a smile, ignoring the voices in her head that are persuading her to tell the truth. She has been present in a lot of places that the Avengers had gone. A lot of places and she has witnessed their works. Wanda senses a lie but she ignored it.
"Ivana, were you present when Asgard was attacked?" Steve Rogers asked her. Ivana pulled another stool and sat in front of Vision who was clearly in pain. Ivana didn't answer and Bruce answered for Ivana. "She was there. I was there. We fought Thanos together." Bruce told them. They once more looked stunned.
"Her? This little girl?" Sam asked. Rhodey gave him a shove on his waist, wanting him to stop teasing people. "What? I just cannot believe that she can fight Thanos." Sam said. Rhodey rolled his eyes. "Yes. We fought Thanos. Together with Thor and the other Asgardians." Bruce said and turned to look at Ivana.
Ivana let out a sigh before saying, "May I?" she said as her palm hovered over Vision's wounds. "Yes." Vision gave his permission. Ivana closes her eyes before exhaling. Her palm let out purple light that was met with the wound that was caused by a stab from one of Thanos's high-risk weapons that could kill you immediately.
Within a minute, she was able to heal Vision's wound, and the Avengers who witnessed it were astonished by her power that can heal a metal-made robot. She brought away her hands from Vision's wound and stood up. "Feel better?" Ivana asked Vision. "I admit, yes. How did you heal me? Your powers are out of this universe." Vision asked.
Ivana smiled and put back the stool where she sat just now back to where it belongs to. She walks to the wet kitchen and washes her hand. "I'm just a normal human with powers, I guess," Ivana replied before turning off the tap. "You're a witch," Wanda commented. Ivana turned to her and nodded. "I guess so." Ivana shrugged.
"You don't know?" Captain Rogers asked. "I know. But some say that I am many things. One of them is a witch. I have more powers. That I don't know what it is yet." Ivana said. Natasha questioned her, "How did you know Thor?"
"I was born in Asgard in the royal family. Asgard and the kingdom I was in, were friends. Close. So do our parents. That's how we became friends. Friends since childhood." Ivana told them.
"So . . . Thor and Loki are gone?" Sam asked. Ivana swallowed hardly. Trying to accept the fact that Loki is gone. "Ivana got a vision that Thor is still alive. Loki . . ." Bruce paused and sighed as he looked at Ivana.
"Thor is somewhere in space. He's fine. But we won't be getting him here on earth any sooner." Ivana continued Bruce's words. She let out a sigh.
"What are you? You can do everything." Wanda said. "You're the Goddess of Mischief and Trickster." Vision finally said. "Goddess of Mischief was once. Before I left Asgard." Ivana told them as she sat on the kitchen counter and look at the Avengers.
"Alright. We better get back to the main topic here." Rhodey started. "Bruce, Ivana, tell us what you know," Steve said. They started to tell everything that they know. All the main things that they need to know about their enemy. About Thanos. They must stop Thanos or this universe will be wiped out.
"We gotta assume that they are coming back, right?" Rhodey asked as Bruce was walking around the room. "And they can clearly find us." Wanda continued. "We need all hands on the deck. Where is Clint?" Bruce asked and turned to Natasha.
"After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal. It was tough on their families. They're on house arrest." Natasha told him.
"Who's Scott?" Bruce asked. "Antman," Steve replied. "There's an Antman and a Spiderman?" Bruce questioned in surprise. "Okay, look." Bruce continued. "Thanos has the biggest army in the universe. And he is not gonna stop until he gets . . ." Bruce stopped and turned to Vision. "Vision's stone." He spoke.
"Then we have to protect it," Natasha said. "No, we have to destroy it." Vision spoke. Everyone turned towards him except for Ivana who has been silent for a while. Her mind was in a mess. Trying to patch up things and trying to find the best solution so everyone can be safe and no one can get killed during the battle.
"I've been doing a good deal of thought to this entity in my head." He pointed to the Mind stone. "About its nature. But also, its composition." He continued. Ivana rolled her eyes hearing Vision's explanation.
Dramatic, thought Ivana. She had thought about a solution but maybe it'll be a risk. But she remembered everything that has to be done for the earth and the universe are taking risks. High risk.
"Thanos threatens half the universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him." Vision said. "But it should," Steve said. "We don't trade lives, Vision." He continued. "Captain, 70 years ago, you laid down your life to save how many millions of people? Tell me, why is this any different?" Vision questioned.
"Things has changed," Ivana said, getting up from her chair and walking up to the team. The team remained silent as the young lady speaks. "You have a choice, Vision. Your mind is made up of a complex construct of overlays." Ivana continued. "She's correct." Bruce agreed with her.
"Jarvis, Ultron, Tony, Bruce and, the stone. You are many things. All of them mixed together and created you. If we take out the stone carefully and quickly, there will still be Vision. He won't get hurt." Ivana said.
"Other than being a witch and a goddess, you're a scientist too?" Sam asked. The Avengers rolled their eyes at Sam's comment. "So, can we do that?" Natasha asked. Ivana looked at Bruce.
"Not me. Not here." Bruce replied. "Well, you better find someone and somewhere fast," Rhodey said. Ivana looked at Steve. "Steve. I think your old buddy will be happier if you visit him there." Ivana said nonchalantly.
"You can read mind, too?" Steve asked. Ivana shrugged and walked back to the couch and sit.
"What is it? Who?" Rhodey asked.
Steve sighed and glance at Ivana before speaking, "Alright. We're moving today."
