Saiki's parents, Nendou, Kaido, Hairo, Teruhashi, and [Y/n] were all sitting at the chabudai while Saiki was sitting not too far away from them.
Saiki sighed. They've overrun my only sanctuary. [Y/n] was silently eating their food, conversating with nobody. Please help me.
Teruhashi smiled at Kurumi,
"This food is delicious! Please teach me how to make it sometime!"
Kurumi smiled,
"Awe, of course I will!"
Kuniharu chuckled,
"You'll make a good wife someday, Teruhashi!"
Saiki stood up and started walking away. This is a nightmare.
"Thank you, all of you for being Ku's friend."
Hairo smiled,
"You don't have to thank us for being his friends! We're here because we wanna be!"
[Y/n] silently groaned. I love Saiki, but I beg to differ. Kurumi smiled,
"You're right, I'm sorry. I'm just...so greatful."
Saiki paused as Kurumi continued.
"My Ku has had a really hard time making friends with him being a psychic and all.."
Everyone paused as [Y/n] perked up. I KNEW IT! Saiki mentally facepalmed. Well, at least it's quiet...
"Honey...you may have said too much."
Kurumi looked at her husband innocently,
"What?"
Teruhashi looked confused,
"What do you mean by psychic?"
Kurumi said nothing, realizing her mistake. Kuniharu coughed into his fist,
"Honey, you should say something.."
Kurumi stiffened,
"Oh dear..."
Saiki sighed.
Calm down, there's no need to panic. For example, if your friend's mom had said the same thing, how would you react? I'll tell you what wold happen because it's not exciting. Nobody would take it seriously.
Not to mention it's coming from someone with my mother's personality. Panicking will only make it sound suspicious. All you need to do it calm down and change the subject.
Kuniharu finally broke the silence.
"Oh, do you guys know that Shonen Jump logo? The pirate one?"
Hairo slowly nodded,
"Yeah, kinda?"
Kuniharu raised his index finger,
"Get this. If you turn it 90 degrees, it looks like a girl's side profile! I- uhh just thought I'd point that out.."
Everyone made an uninterested face, everyone except [Y/n]. The [h/c] haired teen was looking up a picture of the logo on their phone and tilted it 90 degrees like instructed.
[Y/n] nodded, slightly impressed,
"Oh wow, he's right!"
Nendou looked over the teen's shoulder and smiled,
"Oh wow, it does! Guys, look!"
The butt chinned male took [Y/n]'s phone from their hand and started passing it around for the others to see.
[Y/n] just sat there dumbfounded. My phone... Everyone started talking about it as Saiki sighed in relief. Nendou, for once, I'm greatful.
Nendou eventually took back [Y/n]'s phone and gave it back to them.
"Here ya go, pal!"
"Th-thanks Nendou..."
Nendou looked up and smiled,
"So, my buddy's a psychic, huh?"
Get out.
"Did you know that a female Sunfish lays about 300 million eggs at once?"
YOU GET OUT TOO!
Saiki's eyes narrowed. Fine, I'll do it. A glass near Teruhashi's arm spilt over.
"Ah, sorry! I must've bumped into it!"
Hairo panicked,
"Are you okay?"
Saiki sighed. Okay, that should do it. But, it might've been too late...

Everyone stood outside. Hairo smiled,
"Well, thanks for the dinner!"
Kaido nodded,
"We're forever in your debt, thanks!"
Kurumi and Kuniharu waved,
"You kids are welcome back anytime!"
Everyone walked home together, except [Y/n] since they lived right across the street. Saiki sighed. Time to get to work...
[Y/n] walked into their house and closed the door behind them, taking off their coat and shoes. [Y/n] sighed,
"Well, today was interesting. Maybe I should take a shower to clear my mind."
[Y/n] nodded before walking to the bathroom and turning on the shower water. [Y/n] stripped their clothes off themself and stepped in the shower.
The warm water hitting their bare skin relaxed them. [Y/n] grabbed their sponge, put some body wash on it, and started washing themselves up.
So, Saiki is a psychic just like me, huh? That's pretty neat. I wonder if he was ever gonna tell me.
[Y/n] eventually rinsed the soap off their body before stepping out the shower and drying themselves off.
[Y/n] walks into their room and puts on some underwear before putting on a t-shirt and shorts.
[Y/n] walks down to the kitchen and grabs some coffee jelly they made. Grabbing a spoon, [Y/n] was about to chow down when they felt a presence not too far away from them.
[Y/n] sighed,
"Saiki, what are you doing here?"
No response. [Y/n] set down their coffee jelly and spoon before walking into their living room and looking around,
"Saiki, I know you're here."
Still no response? [Y/n] suddenly felt a presence directly behind them. They turn around and hold out their hand, catching a yellow club that was about to hit them in the head.
[Y/n]'s eyes widen as they look up at Saiki,
"What the hell!? Are you trying to kill me or something?"
Saiki's eyes were wide from shock,
"You...caught it?"
[Y/n] snatches the club from Saiki's hand and winds their arm back as if they were getting ready to hit him with the club,
"You have five minutes to explain how the hell you got into my house and why you were trying to murder me."
Saiki sighed, holding up his hands in defense.
"Alright, fine. You won't believe me, but I teleported into your house. Also, I'm not trying to murder you, I'm trying to make you forget that my mom said I was a psychic."
[Y/n] puts down the bat and tilted their head in confusion,
"Why would you try and make me forget? Did you think I would tell the whole school or something?"
Saiki hesitated,
"I-I guess...Wait, you actually believe me?"
[Y/n] lightly smacked Saiki's arm while chuckling,
"Of course I believe you, it explains a lot. For instance: it explains why you never open your mouth when you talk."
Saiki's eyes widen,
"You noticed that?"
[Y/n] nodded before pointing to Saiki's head,
"And it explains why you wear those weird looking lollipops on your head"
Saiki gave [Y/n] a 'really?' face,
"They're not lollipops, they're devices to help manage my powers."
[Y/n] chuckled,
"I know, I know. Anyways, what powers do you have? I'm curious."
Saiki sighed before explaining and demonstrating his powers. [Y/n]'s eyes widen as they watched him in amazement,
"Wait, that's cool! You have more powers than I have..."
Saiki looked at [Y/n] in confusion,
"You have powers?"
[Y/n] nods,
"Yeah, I don't have that many though. I can control the elements, talk to animals, telekinesis, and teleport objects but that's it."
[Y/n] teleports the coffee jelly that they left in the kitchen into their hand and starts eating it. Saiki smirked,
"You're forgetting one more power."
[Y/n] looks up at Saiki in confusion,
"What?"
The pink haired male leaned in close to [Y/n], his lips brushing against their ear.
"The power to steal my heart."
[Y/n] felt their face heat up as he pecked their cheek before regaining his posture. [Y/n] touched the spot Saiki kissed with their free hand as they look up at him,
"Saiki...what are we?"
Saiki pondered for a moment before looking down at [Y/n],
"Depends, would you like to be my significant other?"
[Y/n]'s eyes widen as they looked at the ground and timidly nodded,
"I...I would."
"Good, because that means I can do this now."
[Y/n] felt a hand cup their cheek, making them look up. [Y/n] soon felt a pair of lips come in contact with theirs.
[Y/n] closes their eyes as they melted into the kiss, wrapping their arms around Saiki's neck. Definitely the best New Years ever.

Saiki and [Y/n] walked to school together, hand in hand. A smile was plastered on [Y/n]'s face as Saiki kept his normal stoic face.
"Hey Saiki, [Y/n]."
[Y/n] turns around to see Kaido running up to them.
"Back to spending our days at this boring school again, huh?"
Before [Y/n] could respond, they felt Saiki tugging them. The both of them speed walk away from Kaido.
[Y/n] turns around and gives Kaido an apologetic smile before turning back around.
"Saiki!"
Saiki stops walking, as do [Y/n], at the call of his name. The both of them turn around to see Kaido smirking before holding up signs with his hand.
"This is our friendship sign, okay? Don't you forget it"
"Don't worry, I won't even remember it"
[Y/n] chuckles as they both enter the school building. Saiki and [Y/n] both exchange their shoes, neither of them saying a word.
Saiki and [Y/n] start walking to their classroom, hand in hand once again.
"Hey Saiki! So about New Years..."
[Y/n] recognized that voice to be Hairo's, but they just chose to act like they didn't hear him just as Saiki did.
Nendou slid right next to Saiki and started rubbing his butt on him while dancing. [Y/n] sweatdrops. Oh god-
[Y/n] had to stifle a laugh at Saiki's annoyed face.
"Kusuo, wanna come wack some tennis balls?"
"Saiki, do you sense a disturbance in this hall?"
"Oh Ku, I sound just like your mom!"
[Y/n] chuckles.
Poor Saiki...
