Third Person POV
After Taehyung floated with Jungkook for a bit Jin called everyone to come eat some snacks and to reapply sunscreen to the baby of the group
"Eomma dis stinky" Taehyung said while making a disgusted face.
"Well you have to wear it baby if you don't want your skin turn all red." Jin said as he applied the sunscreen on Taehyungs back.
Yoongi smirks before walking over to Jungkook who is eating half of a sandwich "I see you were having fun with Taehyung."
"Oh shut up. I wasn't having fun with that waste of space." Jungkook scowled.
"That's not what it looked like out there" Jimin said from behind Jungkook.
"What do you know midget." Jungkook said before taking another bite of his sandwich.
"we'll see about that" Yoongi said before calling Taehyung over.
"Yoonie-appa?" Taehyung said before making grabby hands at Yoongi.
"Hey Taebaby." Yoongi said picking Taehyung up then kisses his cheek.
"Hi Minnie an Kookie." Taehyung said waving at the two.
"Hi Little One." Jimin said while Jungkook just huffed.
"Did you have fun with Kookie baby?" Yoongi said bouncing Taehyung a little.
"Mhm Kookie wet TaeTae on da watew but nu gets wet. Ish was supew funs." Taehyung said jumping in Yoongi's arms.
Yoongi smirked at Jungkook while Jungkook just rolled his eyes walking away. Yoongi walked to the basket with all the snacks and handed Taehyung some Goldfish. Yoongi walked to one of the chairs and opens the Goldfish pack.
"Say ahhhhh Taebaby." Yoongi said holding out a goldfish in front of Taehyung's mouth.
"Ahhhhhh." Taehyung said opening his mouth wide.
Yoongi placed the goldfish in Taehyung's moth before eating a few himself.
"Mmmmmm yummy appa." Taehyung said with half chewed goldfish in his mouth.
"No talking with food in your mouth Taebaby." Yoongi said holding more goldfish in front of Taehyung.
Taehyung opened his mouth and ate more goldfish. This happened until all the goldfish was gone. Yoongi wiped his hand before walking back to the shallow end of the pool.
"Yoongi I'll take him off your hands." Namjoon said walking up to Yoongi.
Yoongi glared at him "And why should I? Last time we left him alone with you he was assaulted."
Namjoon flinched before looking down 'Did we really assault him? He seemed like he liked it. Though he did yell at us afterwards. Maybe we shouldn't be allowed near him'
"Joonie-appaaaa" Taehyung said making grabby hands at Namjoon.
"Taehyung don't you want to go with Yoongi?" Namjoon said looking up at Taehyung.
"Joonie-appa." Taehyung whined making his grabby hands more aggressive.
Yoongi sighed before giving Taehyung to Namjoon but not before whispering "Hurt him again and I'll destroy you."
Namjoon nodded before going in the water with Taehyung.
"Okay little prince do you want appa to teach you how to swim?" Namjoon asked as he carried Taehyung in the water.
"Mhm TaeTae wan oo swim wike fishie." Taehyung said while wiggling like a fish.
"Okay little prince appa is gonna let you float on your back. All you have to do is relax okay little prince?" Namjoon said while double checking Taehyung's floaties.
"Otays TaeTae wewax." Taehyung said with a determined look on his face.
Namjoon laid Taehyung on the water while Taehyung relaxed. Namjoon slowly moved his arms from under Taehyung watching proudly as his baby floated.
"You're doing a good little prince." Namjoon said slowly backing away from Taehyung.
"Appa Appa wookie TaeTae fwoat." Taehyung said getting excited.
Jungkook looked over at the duo while scowling "The one time I want to be around him he's taken from me."
"Awww is Junkgkookie getting pouty because he cant be with Taehyung." J-hope teased while sitting next to Jungkook.
"Oh shut up you Michael Jackson wannabe." Jungkook said turning towards J-hope.
"HEY!!! Who wouldn't want to be the King of Pop." J-hope yelled while chopping Jungkook on the head.
"King of Pop my ass." Jungkook grumbled while rubbing his head.
"Now back to Taehyung. Are you feeling the power of his adorableness?" J-hope said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Nah he's still a annoying little shit to me." Jungkook said shrugging his shoulders.
"That's not what it looked like earlier. You were all smiley and stuff when you were letting Taehyung sit on your stomach." J-hope said while looking at Taehyung and Namjoon.
"I had no choice. If I pushed him off of me and he ended up drowning then Jin would kill me." Jungkook growled while glaring at the duo in the water.
"Jungkook you don't have to be embarrassed to like being around Taehyung. At least not with me." J-hope said while putting his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.
"Like you know anything about me or my feelings." Jungkook said shrugging J-hope's hand off of him.
J-hope grabbed Jungkook by the shoulders again and turned Jungkook to face him "Jungkook I basically grew up with you. The others might not pay attention to you as much as they should doesn't mean that I don't. I know that you don't have sex with any random girl or that you do irresponsible things. You do that just so they can pay attention to you. But I pay attention without all that stuff. Like I know that you don't like being the last one asleep because you don't want anything to happen on your watch or that every Thursday you go to the park and watch other people live their happy normal life. I know you Jungkook probably better than anyone else in this group."
Jungkook stared at J-hope in shock before blushing and looking him in the eyes "What are you some sort of stalker."
"There you go being to stubborn to accept your feelings. Don't worry Taehyung will change that." J-hope said before walking away to join Jimin.
"What the hell does he know."
In the pool with Taehyung, Namjoon, and Jin
"Okay little prince now move your arms and legs like a puppy." Namjoon said holding Taehyung on his stomach.
"otays wike doggie." Taehyung said before he started to doggie paddle.
"Great job baby boy" Jin said walking over to the two.
"Eomma wookie TaeTae swim wike doggie." Taehyung said while doggy paddling.
"I can see that baby boy. Wow you're going so fast." Jin said as Taehyung swims to him.
"TaeTae ish comin." Taehyung said swimming to Jin with Namjoon followed him.
"Wow little prince you're a really fast swimmer." Namjoon said as he picked Taehyung up.
"Hey TaeTae was swimmin." Taehyung said as he pouted.
"I know little prince. Do you want to have a swimming race with appa?" Namjoon said as he kissed Taehyung's cheek.
"Yes Yes Yes. TaeTae gon win." Taehyung said as he started to wiggle in Namjoon's arms.
"Okay boys get ready." Jin said as he grabs Taehyung and holds him in the water.
Namjoon stood in the water pretending that he's getting ready while Taehyung has the most focused look on his face that the boys have ever seen.
"On your marks.....get set.......GO!" Jin said as he let Taehyung go allowing the boy to doggy paddle his way to the 'finish line'. Namjoon just walked in the water and moved his arms as if he was swimming.
Taehyung swam to one end of the pool back to Jin who was looking very proud. Namjoon wasn't far behind as he was literally walking.
"You won baby boy." Jin said picking up Taehyung and kissing him all over his face.
"Yayyyy TaeTae won." Taehyung said as he giggles loudly causing some of the other boys to come over.
"What's happening over here." Yoongi said giving the two older boys a questioning look.
"Yoonie-appa TaeTae won." Taehyung said making grabby hands towards Yoongi.
Yoongi grabs Taehyung from Jin and kisses his cheek. "What did you win Taebaby?"
"TaeTae swim wif Namjoon-appa an TaeTae wins." Taehyung exclaimed jumping in Yoongi's arms.
"Wow I'm so proud of you Taebaby. How about we go to the toy store and celebrate." Yoongi said walking out of the pool carrying Taehyung.
"Ooooo TaeTae get toys?" Taehyung asked tilting his head slightly.
"Yes you can baby. As many toys as you want." Yoongi said as he grabbed two towels drying Taehyung off with one of them.
Taehyung giggled some more before cuddling Yoongi who just wrapped a towel around Taehyung. Jin and Namjoon also got out of the pool drying themselves off. Jin called the rest of the boys over telling them that it was time to leave.
"Did you have fun pumpkin?" J-hope asked kissing Taehyung's head.
"TaeTae hab wots of fun. TaeTae win da race." Taehyung said sucking his thumb.
"The race?" J-hope asked drying himself off.
"Taehyung and Namjoon had a swimming race and Taehyung won." Jin said as he started packing their things.
"Wow I bet you were so fast little one." Jimin said as he dried his hair off.
Jungkook came over and grabbed a towel no sparing Taehyung a glance. Taehyung saw Jungkook and smiled at him.
"Guess wha Kookie?" Taehyung said smiling wide.
Jungkook ignored Taehyung and packed his bag. Taehyung looked confused but just turned towards Jin.
"Eomma huwwy so we can go to da toy stowe." Taehyung whined.
"Okay okay baby. You have to be patient." Jin said grabbing some of the bags and walks to the car with Taehyung in his arms.
The other boys grabbed the rest of the bags and got in the car. Jin gave Taehyung to Jimin, got in the drivers seat, then started driving home. Namjoon fell asleep in the passenger seat snoring away causing Taehyung to laugh.
"Minnie-appa Namjoon-appa make funny noise." Taehyung said giggling more.
"I know little one. He must be really sleepy huh little one?" Jimin said kissing Taehyung's head.
"You must have really tired him out pumpkin." J-hope said running his fingers through Taehyung's hair.
"What kind of toy do you wanna get little one?" Jimin said turning Taehyung so that he is facing him.
"TaeTae nu knows. TaeTae nu have toys befowe." Taehyung said looking while looking up at Jimin.
"No worries little one J-hope will help you find all the best toys." J-hope said pointing to himself, puffing out his chest.
"Minnie will help too little one." Jimin said smiling at Taehyung.
Meanwhile in the very back seat Jungkook was starting at the three and was scolding himself for even thinking about going toy shopping with Taehyung. He doesn't need that hybrid in his life, ruining the image he worked so hard for. Taehyung was just an obstacle, a thing in the way of his freedom. Then why does he want Taehyung to smile at him the way he does the others?
