"That sounds like assault, my dude. She didn't even give you her consent." BFF says, as she walks in.
"That's not what I meant, stupid. We were gonna go to that one store across the road and steal a Gatorade." S(T?)B says. You shake your head.
"Why can't you just use money?" You suggest.
"Money..?! Actual currency?! Babe, are you hearing yourself?"
"Yeah, well it shouldn't be too hard to be a considerate civilian. I mean, these people try to work as well. who knows, they might-"
"Quiet. I don't wanna hear another word from you unless it's my name."
Suddenly, you had an excellent idea. you didn't like the way S(T?)B treats you and BFF. It was cruel, to say the least. the other members, he listens to them. But to the both of you? It's just S(T?)B talking. And you've had enough of his atrocious behaviour. It sucked enough knowing that his balls, and vocabulary was outshined by his pride and ego.
You didn't like that. He wasn't really the one for you, the day he asked you to join him, after spilling his secrets; That he was working for one of the most wanted organization. Aside from staying with him, whenever he went out on 'missions', you stayed behind, as you were just an extra pawn for them to use. S(T?)B's branch was drugs. He even tried to convince you to take some, but you were keen not to, having read an article not too long ago that a singer overdosed and was dead for two minutes.

"No, I am Y/N. Not "so annoying". Learn that. Get it through your thick skull that your skull is thin. Your ego's just too big for me to pierce. You have no room for emotional love. Admit it. Your pride is getting in the way of the relationship."
"Okay, fine. So what if it is? You're just an expendable pawn to the Organization. They don't care. So why should I, little s***?"
There was a sharp noise that rang out. BFF was standing in front of S(T?)B, having slapped him hard across the face.
"Don't you dare talk to my best friend like that. I don't care if the thing that separates us is this Organization, or the fact I do drugs or smoke. I care about Y/N, and you should be ashamed of yourself. She's a wonderful person, inside and out, who was once shining brightly in the eyes of everyone she knew until you came! You tainted her with this! You don't deserve her love, or to be graced by her presence! We're leaving, and you can't stop us." BFF left him on the ground, after kicking him hard where the sun don't shine. Very hard. Grabbing your wrist, she escorted you out, after handing you a knife, keeping her gun in hand.
You looked back and before you left his line of sight, flipped him off. Wow, that was super refreshing.
Two Months Later
"Aah, I have amazing tea to spill, bestie! It's great tea!!"
"Did you mean like tea, tea, or like, gossip?"
"The latter! But I can't tell you this on the phone, I need to meet up with you. Remember that time when we went to that coffee shop the other day?"
"It was a tea house, but yes, go on."
"Shall we meet there? Lots of people are saying that while the tea comes hot, the person who makes them looks even hotter!"
"You sound like you have a new crush."
"Ah, I forgot! Don't forget to wear your mask, 'kay? I'm on my way to your place already."
"Alright. I'll be ready in twenty."
"I think I may get there in fifteen."
"Alright. Ten." I say.
"Alright. See you soon!"
"Drive safe."
"Thanks, you too!"
When the call ended, I was confused.
I don't drive a car. I have a license, but no car. I live in an apartment. So.. Why did she.. I shook off the thought. Going to my bedroom, I get my clothes and head to the bathroom.
Putting on my mask, I head to the door and go outside. Seeing BFF's car, I head over, smiling.
The car window rolls down.
"Hey Babe, how you doin'?"
"You!"
"Get in. Unless you'd rather trade your friend's life. I don't think you have a choice in the matter."
"...I don't think I'll fit in the back.."
"You aren't gonna be 'in the back'. You'll be in the trunk, that okay with you, Babe?"
-Timeskip-
"I'm so sorry.. I tried to fight them off, but I was outnumbered.." BFF apologized, when you were alone in the tea house.
"It's okay. I know you tried. Oh! By the way, what was the 'tea' you were talking about earlier?"
"Ah, about that.. It was about my health."
"Yeah? What is it? Bad or good news?" BFF looks at me and smiles.
"I finally was able to go one month without drugs or smoking! I just need to take care of my alcohol intake." I gasp. She was able to take one month off of smoking and drugs? I'm so proud of my bestie! Finally some happy news!
"Is that true? Oh my gosh!"
"Yeah, right? Like, when I told myself I was going to do that, the first week was hard, I needed to resist my urge, or at least try to reduce the amount of cigarettes I use. By the fourth week, I rid my house of all smoking materials, except one lighter, though. Birthdays, am I right?"
We shared a light laugh at our table before S(T?)B came back with his 'friends'.
"So, are you enjoying your day? You guys at least were able to come here, after all. Be thankful I still love you, babe." S(T?)B inches closer to my face.
"Excuse me, coming through. Warm water and Japanese style mild curry with rice for the one in red," Someone says, pushing S(T?)B out of the way, "and warm tea with udon for the cute one." He winks at me. I hear BFF snickering across from me, but I can't help but look at his eyes. They were catlike and yellow, his features sort of sharp and mysterious. He had nice white hair. I could feel S(T?)B staring. I look away after thanking him. Instead of leaving, he comes close and says, "I know who these people are to you and your friend. Once you are finished, reach into your bag and read it." he stands up. "you're very welcome. Excuse me." As he excuses himself, I saw him look at S(T?)B, smirking.
"Who was that guy? Y/N, who was he? What did he say to you?"
I glance over at the kitchen and I see another male, with brown hair and an eye covering, dressed in blue, conversing to the white haired man. They were whispering, by the looks of it. I look back to S(T?)B.
"..It's none of your business. Why do you wish to know? How would I know the answers to your questions if we had only just met?"
"BFF said you visited this place before-"
"And it was obviously a lie, pretty boy. This place just opened up. Didn't you read the front?" BFF says, before walking to the bathroom, after leaving me with a gun.
"Shut up, I wasn't talking to you, B****." S(T?)B just stated.
Okay, he had just crossed the line.
"What did she ever do to you to deserve this? You are an inhumane entity, and I do not wish to see your face or hear your voice. I'd actually rather chat with that cute white-haired guy and kiss my bestie on the cheek than hang out with you, a lowlife, an unfeeling person who does nothing but ruin people's lives." I say. I hear people stop chatting and stare. I don't care at this point. He had just called my friend, a permanent friend I had made during my time in the organization the mean 'B' word.
"Alright, you s***, you've crossed the line. I'm really angry now."
"Oh, did I upset you? From past experiences, you're armed right now, aren't you? You never leave without bringing a weapon with you. What? Go on. Kill me if you want. there are plenty of witnesses here."
"Oh, babe, who said I would hurt you?"
Oh shoot. BFF went into the bathroom. Some of S(T?)B's accomplices went there too... Please stay safe, BFF..! I look down, reading the note the good-looking guy gave me.
I stand up and pull out the gun, pointing it at him.
"You need to leave! You need to know when I've had enough. You need to know my limits and when I cross the threshold. Anyone knows simple information like that! But you... You're different. And I mean it in a bad way!"
"Y/N, drop the gun." S(T?)B takes out his handgun.
"No! You and your partners.. You drop your weapons! I will use this to make sure the people here are unharmed!" I can see that I'm shaking, I bet he knows I'm scared too.
BFF runs out the bathroom, collapsing behind me, and I see the two buff dudes exiting the bathroom, headed straight towards us. We're outnumbered.
"BFF! What happened to you..?!" I whisper-yell to her.
"I'm fine. Just a few scrapes."
"BFF. Your arm is literally broken."
"Yeah, yeah, I know.."
I scan the room, and some people here are wearing some form of straw hat different colors, preferable from the past. I saw yellow, pink or magenta, light purple, black, orange, red, sky blue, beige, blue green (I think?), green and black, and some others. All the other people not wearing that kind of headwear was escorted out by the one wearing a green and brown outfit. I saw his eyes, but only for a moment. They looked to be green and concerned, but I could be wrong.
"You're outnumbered, sweets. Give up and drop the weapon."
I look back to him, with a neutral expression, as I lower my arm.
"Good, we're making progress. Now let go of the gun. You and I both know that you don't have the guts to kill."
"..No. I'm not listening to you." He narrows his eyes.
"I'm serious. Now this is your last chance. Drop the gun, now, you f****** b****."
"Like I said, no!"
"You're outnumbered, baby. Just drop it and all will be okay. You see? I'm lowering my weapon now." He allows his arm to fall to his side.
"What about your friends? I'm sure they'll open-fire as soon as I let go." I snap my head towards the buff dudes, who were at the door frame of the kitchen, still and unmoving.
"Of course, anything for you, babe. Troy, Drew, get over here." They didn't move, but close their eyes. It was only when we all saw a pair of blades go through them both did I realize they did it out of fear.
Once the two swords were extracted from them, the bodies slumped forward, landing with a thud. There was a single person, with a smile on his face. I couldn't see his eyes, they were obscured by a straw hat, this time, dark blue in color.
"Hey, lass. You okay? Including your friend."
"Y-yeah, I'm fine." My arm is still pointed at S(T?)B. "but I don't know about BFF.. Her arm looks broken."
"Thanks for that. Hey, BFF, can you stand and walk?" She nodded and proceeded to stand.
The one in blue had a sword in one hand and wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Hey, you. Don't move. I can shoot you down and take the girl as well." I heard my good-for-nothing ex say.
"On the contrary, I believe I can shoot you down faster." I looked to the source of the familiar voice and found a tall figure in white, with some yellow, who had a gun drawn.
"Masamune, you may head forward." he said, coming closer. He was not hostile, I could sense it.
When I looked to BFF, the one with the yellow straw hat was tending to her wounds and arm. Looking back to my Ex, I saw that the one in white had gotten much closer. All the others, save for the one in yellow, got up and took off their hats, brandishing their weapons. The one in white did as well and I saw it was the same person who had served BFF and I earlier. It was a shock how quickly things escalated.
"Mitsuhide, you did well. We're one step closer."
"Of course, Nobunaga-sama."
"You! Drop your weapons!" the one in with the beige hair commanded. The one dressed in sky blue, the blonde with complete heterochromia, he stepped forward, pointing his blade to the group.
"I challenge you with my blade. You are not allowed to falter or use firearms."
The one in black just shook his head.
"Do not underestimate their power, Kenshin. You will be outnumbered."
"Why don't I help? Although doing this and killing someone is almost unforgivable to Buddha. perhaps I can change them." The one in holding a staff said.
"Well, they certainly aren't dressed correctly to be called 'normal', Kennyo-sama and Nobunaga-sama." The cute pink one says, holding a knife-like object, smiling.
"Well, I believe all of us can agree that this old, aged, rotten banana peel is not really the type for her. He seems like someone who would chain someone down, and try to top Kenshin." The yellow one stated.
'Kenshin' turned around to glare at the yellow one.
"No one tops me, Tokugawa."
The light purple one only laughed.
"Go on, shoot. I bet you won't."
'Mitsuhide' stepped forward, pushing past the others, pressing his rifle at the front of S(T?)B's head.
"I suggest you stay here, unarmed, in the corner, still and unmoving. This applies to everyone you are affiliated with. Lest you end up with a bullet in you chest, face, and head."
S(T?)B only huffed.
"I'm the only one who bosses me around!"
The one dressed in black stepped forward and slapped him across the face so hard he fell onto the ground.
"You are the one with no authority over me. You are within my territory. So I suggest you show some respect, back off, and shut up."
My arm started to grow heavy, from supporting the weight of the gun for so long, so I switched.
Soon enough, the sound of police sirens flooded my ears and I was able to rest easy. But I didn't lower my arm. Not until he was out of sight, did I relax. My knees buckled from beneath me and I was relieved to finally be out of the danger zone.
"Lady Y/N are you alright?"
"Lass, you okay?"
Looking up, I get up off of the floor and turn to face them all. I smile.
"Thank you for the assist..."
"Shingen." says the one in orange and red.
"Yukimura." says the one in red.
"Kenshin." says the one in sky blue.
"Ranmaru. Nice to meet you." says the cute pink one.
"..Ieyasu."
"Hideyoshi. I expect a thank you from you towards Nobunaga-sama."
"Mitsunari. A pleasure to meet you!"
These guys dont seem too bad. They seem misunderstood at best.. I think. Maybe we can be friends?

"Y/N. Pleasure to meet you."
