The following Saturday, Kharai planned to go bike riding. To feel the wind kissing her face was among the most pleasant feelings of life, yet it was one she rarely experienced. After watering her plants, she set off for the valley.
Down the street from her apartment was a valley, known as a bikers and dog walkers oasis. This small plot of land bordered a lake which many visited for picnics. The sun always shone in the valley, and when it didn't, the rain poured like jazz in NYC.
In a way, the valley reflected Kharai. The valley was kind, it held such a love that passion radiated from the very roots of plants. The flowers bloomed as the heartwarming stories bloomed within her. She was the kindness to be found in humanity, easy like Sunday morning.
Squirrels scattered from trees as she reached out to touch the branches. The life in the valley was found in such variety that it would make ones heart swell. She found kindness in the valley of which she returned. By the time she rounded corner, she'd completely dissociated and became one with nature.
She exited the valley and headed towards her apartment. She'd once again connected with nature, and was excited to do it again.
