On a cold winter day,
Fog and snow cover the now invisible cars,
that were meant to be seen from far away.

On a cold winter day,
I look outside and feel cold by looking at the grey sky.

On a cold winter day,
I feel warmth of my black hoodie touching my skin.
I grab my hot chocolate drink in hope,
that I will feel warmer soon.

My breath against the glass,
A smiley face is now to see!
The water drips down my fingers
And I wipe it way with my black hoodie.
Yes, I feel warmer now, thanks to my hot chocolate!

I hear a knock on my wood door.
My best friend comes in,
she's in pain of not feeling her feet anymore.
I grab a blanket to cover her feet.

She looks at me and thanks me for letting her in.
Of course, my love!
We both look at the shiny moon,
that seems to be smiling at us.

I'm now laying in my bed,
Remembering the effect that small details have.
My stomach is full, my skin is warm
and here I'm laying in this cold wintery storm.
