"Enjoy cleaning this up, boys. Thank you (Y/N) for watching over them". Roxie says as she throws the shovels to Darius and Kenji.
I nod at her.
"We're going to the genetics lab" Roxie finishes and walks away.
Brooklyn stays behind to snap a quick picture of the boy and their shovels.
Dave fosses over a bottle of cologne to Darius and says "Cologne. That'll help with the smell.And the ladies. What what? The mostly the smell. The stench of dinosaur poo can really Linger". Dave finishes
"What? But..." Darius says
"Ugh! gross". Kenji says while getting the poo off his shoe.
I laugh lightly.
"Thanks to you, I'm shoveling poop instead of watching a live dinosaur birth. That's only been my dream sense, uh, I don't know...forever!". Darius says to Kenji
"Dude,that's not a dream.A dream is like when you save mermaids from a shark". Kenji says
"Whatever! Figures you wouldn't understand. The scientist are heroes. they re-created the T. Rex! A T.REX! Do you know what it takes to do that?". Darius says
"It's cute you're this excited about some dumb lab. Noobs like you don't know half of what's in this place". Kenji says
"Like what? You're all talk". Darius says
"I've been to this park, like, 50 kajillion times.I am in the know, Junior and since you helped me out earlier, I might be willing to show you the good stuff." Kenji says
" I'm interested in this good stuff" I finally speak up.
"Oh you are, sweetie" he says with a smirk
"Wait, (Y/N), why did you stay?" Darius asks staring at me.
"She can't get enough of me, right sweetie" Kenji says
"Wrong, I wanted to stay because I feel more comfortable with you two." I say looking at Darius.
We stare at one another for a while until Kenji starts coughing.

" I just Thought you'd be interested in seeing one they stop showing to the public. But...whatevs.It's only a once in a lifetime opportunity". Kenji says while staring at us both.
"Right, lead the way, Kenji" I say
"Well then let's get going, sweetie" he says leading Darius and I to a hatch.
"Where's this tunnel go?" Darius asks
"This tunnel is part of an underground network connecting the whole island. This is how the big dog gets around.You're actually looking at a Jurassic World VIP, kid". Kenji finishes saying and makes his way down the ladder.
"Gentleman first" I say with a giggle.
He smiles at me and makes his way down.
I follow afterwards and soon we reach the bottom.
We look up to see that the hatch closes on its own.
"(Y/N)? Kenji?" Darius asks
"Darius? Kenji?" I say feeling around and grab a hand tightly.
I was never a great fan of the dark.
Soon the lights turn on and I notice that I'm holding Darius hand.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm not good with the dark" I tell Darius
"It's okay,but if you don't mind me asking how we're you able to handle yesterday" Darius asks
"The adrenaline rush I guess, I don't normally act out. I got to see raptors yesterday so I was extremely excited but also worried over you and Kenji, of course" I finish off staring at Darius.
Kenji cuts Darius off by saying
"You still bummed about the genetics labs?"
"Not at all" I say and Darius nods.
"For real, though, Where are you taking me? Are we seeing a secret T. Rex or a rare sauropod" Darius asks Kenji
"Kid,Kenji has something better then a rare sauropod. we're headed to where they quarantine the dinosaur to agro.The last one I saw here was some kind of carna...carna-something" Kenji says
"Hold up...Carnataur?" Darius says
"We're gonna see a Carnotaurus?" I ask
"That's, like, one of my top favorite dinos!" Darius says
"Sweet, right? The park board actually offered to name it after me, but I was like, no I'll hold out for something cooler. But I figured you like it, you know, as it thinks, which is what this is for, uh, You know, not being a narc when" before finishing his sentence Darius cuts him off by saying.
"So, there's like a Carnotaurus right-right up there?" Darius asks
"Obviously, Like my boy masrani always says, when Kenji promises, kenji delivers". Kenji finishes saying while staring at buttons and started pressing random ones.
"Let's get going sweetie" Kenji says staring at me.
I roll my eyes but I can't help liking the nickname although I'm too shy to actually admit it.
I don't want to boost his already high ego
Soon we're all out of the hatch.
"Uh, you do know where you're going, right?" Darius asks Kenji
"Trust me, I got this on lock.The pen,heh, is...that way" Kenji responds as if he's unsure.
"What am I doing?" I hear Darius say to himself.
I began walking up to Darius.
"You know, I'm actually happy to have met you Darius, most kids don't normally know a ton on dinosaurs" I say staring him.
"Well, you see my dad actually loved dinosaurs a ton and growing up he would go nonstop about them. It's only natural I began to know about all types of dinosaurs" Darius says
"Wow, your dad's impressive. He must be happy to know your here now" I say
Darius remains quiet
Did I say something wrong?
Before I can question him. I hear a thud and notice that Kenji fell.
"Where is that stupid fence" Kenji says
Before I can actually help him Darius goes to help Kenji up.
"Kenji, maybe we should head back. We don't wanna get caught in cost trouble with your dad". Darius tells Kenji
"What does my dad have to do with anything? Dudes barely around. He's not worrying about me". Kenji responda.
That's harsh
"What? Then what was all that, my whole life I've been trying to make my dad proud, Junior" Darius says imitating what appears to be Kenji last voice.
I giggle at the Kenji imitation
"Oh, right. I was lying because of the whole not wanting to get in trouble and sent home thing. Forgive me for not wanting to spend another summer alone. In fact when you really think about it, this is on you for being so gullible". Kenji says
"I can't believe this". Darius says in disbelief and anger.
"I can" I cut Darius off.
"Is there a carnotauras, Kenji" I say with a small glare.
"Hey, I keep it honest! Except this morning. And, like, a bunch of other times today. But I'm telling you the truth about this!". Kenji says
"I am out here for no reason, I'll probably get sent home, and it's all because I believed you!" Darius says in rage walking in the opposite direction of kenji.
"Fine, whatever". Kenji responds walking in the opposite direction of Darius and me in the middle.
"You coming, (Y/N)?!" They say just staring at me.
Oh boy
What did I get myself into?!
