I was woke up to my phone ringing i rolled my eyes knowing I had to answer it before Chris woke up cause i wanted him to sleep for a while longer at least untill ten.
I answered it sighing " what you need herb im trying to sleep" i said
Herb rolled his eyes " did you see what the shade room posted" he asked
I nodded " yeah...So what? they post stuff like that all the time" I said
Herb sighed " yeah but durks not use to that kind of stuff, he tried to take his daughter some where earlier and got swarmed by reporters" he said
I started to feel kind of bad " shit. Okay hang on i think I have a idea.. What's durks number" i said
He gave me durks number and i texted him the plan which he was more then greatful about.
I put my phone in my pocket before walking into chris room picking him up " wheres your other earing" I asked
Chris layed against me trying to go back to sleep " dont know" he mumbled yawning
I sighed walking over to his dresser pulling out his chain " your killing me" I said shaking my head as i put it on him
I walked down the stairs looking for a a pair of shoes that would match his outfit. Once I found some I helped him put them on before going outside seeing the driver I got sitting in a car.
Chris looked up " why not drive our car"he asked
I fixed my hat shrugging " we got to have room cause were picking someone up" i said walking down the steps
I got in the back putting him In the carseat next to me and there were two other seats.
I gave the driver a few hundred dollar bills " 65th street, the apartments and where ever they need to go after that" i said as he drove off
Chris was busy playing with the small star looking lights on the ceiling " look dada stars" he said
I nodded my head " mhm" i said scrolling through the shaderooms page sighing
They had multiple pictures of durk just doing normal shit not anything even interesting. these people need to get there own lives and stop worrying about me.
We pulled up to the apartments and Chris looked around confused " where are we?" He asked
I looked down at my phone texting durk " some where I use to hangout when I was younger" i said
Chris looked out the window again " whos dat?" He asked pointing
I looked up seeing durk and his daughter walking out of the building " a friend now sit back lil folk" I said getting out of the car
Durk walked over putting his daughter in a car seat " you really didn't have to" he said
I nodded " its the least i could do since its my fault you got surrounded earlier" I said
Durk smiled " yeah. Herb told me your a rapper i just didn't belive him untill now" he said getting in
I stood there sorta offended for a second " wow that kind of hurt" i said making durk laugh as i got in shutting the door
His daughter looked over at me " your alot uglier then he described" she said
Durks eyes widened "bella thats mean" he said as her and Chris started laughing
I looked at them shaking my head " this is the second time a child called me ugly.. Am i really that bad" i said as durk looked out the window not saying anything
I fixed my hat smiling as I looked over at bella again " wow she really is your daughter" i said getting a better look at her
Durk nodded " yeah what gave it away?" He asked and i was about to say something but i decided on not to as durk started laughing " she has the same eyes as me if thats what you mean" he said
Bella nodded " daddy has pretty eyes don't you think?" She asked
I didnt say anything for a second but Bella still looked like she was waiting for a answer " um.. yeah" i said
Bella smiled " and his hairs nice to dont you think?" She asked
Durk sighed " bella" he said shaking his head but all she did was giggle and go back to talking to chris
I smiled going back to looking at my phone as we pulled up to some clothes store. I sent herb a text before getting out and taking Chris out of the car seat.
I set him down and he started reaching up for me to pick him up " you got legs.. Walk" i said
Chris rolled pouted starting to walk ' mean" he said as we made it to the front of the store
As soon as we got in durk set bella down and she started going to look around and Chris ran after her. We sighed quickly following them as they looked around. Chris already knowing he could get what he wants went straight for chains.
Bella slowly walked over " can i get a necklace dad" she asked
Durk followed her looking at the price on the necklace and by the look on his face i knew what he was gonna say " fasho" I interrupted
Durk looked at me shaking his head as i nodded guestering down at a grinning Bella "she can have it" i said
Durk sighed nodding " yeah you can get it but say thanks" he said
Bella grinned again " thank you" she said before going back to looking at chains with Chris
I nodded as durk sighed " ill pay you back" she said
I shook my head smiling " nah. No you wont" i said as a girl started walking over to us
I stopped what i was about to say to durk and turned to her as she smiled nervously " can i get a picture with you two" she asked
Durk looked at her supprised that she was including him, i smiled nodding as i pulled him closer so he was in the frame. We both smiled as she took the picture
She looked down at the picture before smiling " thank you" she said walking away
I nodded before turning back to durk " now lets talk chains" i said laughing
Durk soon realised what I meant and shook his head quickly following after me " lets not do that" he said
It was cute how he reacted to people spending money on him But i was finna get this nigga a chain no matter what he said.
