"WTF KUROO! YOU SCARED AGAIN THE SHIT OUT ME WHAT THE HELL!"
You kicked him but he dodged it making him burst out laughing as you shot him a glare.
"I'm here to walk with you to school." He opened the gate for you before exiting your house.
"Thank you so much Kuroo." You sarcastically smiled
"You are very welcome dear (y/n)." He smiled back sarcastically
"So how's you and Yumi huh?" You nudged him trying your self not to sound interested
Im not that interested whatever's going on with them just wanna know.
You fought with your thoughts as you immediately shrugged it off and waited Kuroo to answer.
"All thanks to your help, of course it's going out pretty well and I think I'll confess to her soon."
You gulped feeling a lump in your throat , "W-Well that's so nice!" You kept up a supportive tone
"Well I know right?! Wish me luck she'll like me back." He nudges you slightly with a grin plastered on his face.
"Of course silly as long as you treat me ice cream you know I don't take favors for free." You smirked
"Well wanna grab ice cream after school?"
"I would definitely love to."
The both of you walked with bickering and laughters to school, It became a routine for the both of you. You both separated and walked off to your perspective classrooms. Seeing Yumi enter the room before your, she didn't acknowledged your presence she just walked straight to her seat not giving you a single glance. You gulped, finding answers why is she like that when you don't recall making her upset or something.
Well maybe she's just having her bad day
You decided not to bother her but in your mind you wanted to talk about it but you just don't want to make her more upset. Yumi was usually shy and friendly with you but this is a first. Her eyes were cold as she kept a straight face.
The class went on your mind was active and thinking about something else. You can't even explain what you are specifically thinking of. You are really confused that it makes you go crazy.
You went on staring outside the window and didn't bother listening to what the teacher infront was saying. You didn't have the mood to listen when your mind was somewhere else.
You flinched as your mind came back to reality when the bell rang signalling that it's lunch break already. You walked to Kenma who was packing his stuffs, you felt an arm being wrapped around yours. It was Yumu who was smiling at you like she didn't ignored you moments ago but you shrugged it off and smiled back to her.
Maybe something happened that's why...
"Oya!" Kuroo waved at the three you once he spotted walking to your usual table.
"Wow first time being early huh?" You sat down next to Kenma
"Yeah, We got a vacant class and oh Kenma we're having a meeting amd practice after this lunch break." He replied glancing to Kenma who's his eyes were to his phone screen
"Yeah." He mumbled still focused on the screen
"Hey Kenma let's eat enough playing for now." You patted his back lightly
"Wait let me finish this." you leaned closer to take a look at his phone before he slipped it inside his pocket.
In the corner of your eyes, the two who was Kuroo and Yumi are talking to each other. The way they talk was like they really are close and known each other for long. They seemed to be really comfortable with each other now enough to make you think that they're already a thing just how they way they look at each other with pure admiration and care.
Sighing, you tugged Kenma's shirt eyeing him to buy food for their lunch together.
As the both of you and Kenma stood up, they followed from behind.
I feel hurt? Sad? What am I really feeling? It is okay to feel this?
You shook your head, looking for food you like to eat but suddenly you didn't have the feel like eating.
"Are you okay? You're a bit pale." Kenma notices you
"Yeah I'm fine!" You showed him the most reassuring smile but Kenma didn't take that. He notice something of you was off.
"Really? Do you wanna talk about it?" He pays to the cashier and looks back at you
"Yeah I-Im fine really really really."
"By the way, I gotta go I have something to do at home will you excuse me?" You walked back to your seat
"Okay then, if you need something just text me."
You nodded before sliding your bag onto your shoulders and ran off.
"Oh? Where's (y/n)?" Kuroo asked noticing that your presence was gone as he and Yumi sat back at the table
"She got something to do." Kenma shortly replied
Walking out of the gate you rested your hands on your knees panting and catching for your breath. You didn't need to run but you feel you had to. There are students around walking some are walking home at your same direction. Your walk to your home was really boring. It saddened you and almost didn't want to look infront of you ans instead looking down at your moving shoes trailing to your house. You feel somehow relief when you entered your house but still the sadness and loneliness still lingers around you.
You didn't mind it you just wanted to rest for now since even if you didn't do anything physically but you felt tired. These days had been rough for you. Thinking was also tiring. It was hard figuring something that you can't but you are too curious eager to find out.
How dumb am I to not figure out what am I feeling! ಠ_ಠ
I know all kinds of feelings but why this one am I feeling is hard to find out? I mean-- just whyyy?

You let out a huge tired sigh, you tried to erase all your thoughts and just played on your phone until you feel your eyes dropped and drift to sleep.
The door bell rang so many times enough for you too wake up, you though that maybe your mom had forgot something so you slipped on your white sandos and shorts and ran downstairs.
"Coming mom wh-- KENMA?"
"Oh hey (y/n)--" he looked away a slight blush creeping on his face
"Oh sorry, It's just too hot so... by the way why are you here?" You asked as you gestured him to come inside
"Here." He handed you a plastic bag, it was cup of ice creams with variety of flavors
"WOW! THANK YOU KENMA!" Your mood instantly change into a cheery one. Ice creams never failed to cheer you up
You smiled at him and he smiled shortly, "But Kenma you didn't have to do this."
"I'm your friend and you being all gloomy and off how come I do not care?"
"Aweee Kenma thank you so much" you pinched his cheeks as you hugged the pudding head
"H-Hey stop it." He backed away slowly a visible pink hue on his cheeks creeping
"But how 'bout Kuroo and Yumi?"
"I left after you left, he's with Yumi."
"Yeah right." Instantly regretting asking about them
"Wanna play game? Here I have the old psp of mine you can borrow it." He slipped out a psp from his bah and handed it to you.
"Let's play then! I'M SURE I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU THIS TIME BWAHAHA!" You laughed evilishly and Kenma chuckled
"Sure."
You are so thankful that Kenma was there, Kenma may not seem sociable and opposite to you but it was worth it he never fail to cheer you up when you need it. He's different but he's unique and that's what you like about him in a friendly way. And also he is cute that you wanna put him in your pocket (●'◡'●).
