The color war began, the students began running and try to find a place to hide. You ran as fast as you can leaving the guys as they made their way on the other directions.
You saw a building, you ran all the way up and silently opening the doors but locked until the last one opened. You looked around to see someone might shoot you so you quickly entered the room when you heard some noice.
"I think I saw someone here." A voice of a male can be heard outside
The room was dark however you still can see, you sweatdropped when you heard a rustling sound. You are sure that it's was not coming from outside but it's inside the room you were in. You wandered your vision and help on your gun, ready to shoot already if someone might attack you.
You heard the sound of footstep coming in your way, it was creepier than you thought.
"AAAH---!" Your screaming cut off when a hand cover your mouth, muffling your scream
"Shhh it's me keep quiet we might get caught." The familiar raven haired sushed you
You smack him out in relief, you sighed, "It was only you my god."
"Shhh." He places his index finger on your lips
And gently pulls you to the corner of the room and exactly when the door opened, you gasped and immediately covered your mouth. In this situation, you and Kuroo are so close that you can feel his breath, you blushed hard enjoying the moment. You felt relieved that he can't see your flustered face.
Thank you god for guiding me this way.
You shake off your thought and focus on your breathing, Kuroo pats your back, noticing you being nervous. He leaned in to your side to your ear.
"Stay calm, they will not see us here." He whispered, you can feel his hot breath that sent shivers down to your spine
You didn't sa anything, your heart was pounding really hard but you need to sta calm at the moment.
"I thought I saw someone here." The guy scratches the back of his head
"There is no one here, come on maybe they're in the other room." The other guy says
The door creaked and closed, hearing the footsteps becoming low. You looked up to check, Kuroo confirmed it and helped you stand up.
"That was close." He restes his hands on his hips after wiping off some sweat on his forehead
"Yeah, I nearly got a heart attack, that was so scary." You whispered, still aware that they'll just be not too far from them
"Me too, by the way, your hair smells nice."
You blushed, "T-Thank you, I guess?"
He chuckled and sat on the box, you followed and sat near him. You held your gun tight, ready to shoot if someone barges in. The both of your shirts we're white clean, so means if you came back with nothing or less stain on your shirts, means you win.
"Let's just stay here until the game ends." You said and yawned
"That'll be no fun, but okay." He chuckled, leaning his head on the wall
"By the way, I still haven't told my feelings to her or ask her out." He says and sighed
You looked at his direction, your eyes softened, but you felt a pang in your chest.
He's really inlove with her...
"W-Well, it's obvious that she likes you too, just tell her what you feel and then ask her out." You said, looking away
"Whenever I tried to, the time won't just give me a chance to tell her, it was always wrong timing." He sighed
"Then don't give up."

A glow in his eyes plastered, he smiled, "Thank you for always helping me out with her."

"It's nothing, you're my friend after all."
"Yeah you're the best friend!" he gave you thumbs up

You gave him a weak smile before looking away. The both of you shared silence, Kuroo stopped talking when he notices you being silent.
She's quiet these days
He shrugged it off, he thought maybe you were just sleepy and lazy to do anything.
"It's boring." Kuroo said, breaking the silence between the two of you
"Yeah." You agreed
"What about let's go outside now?" He suggested and stood up
"Make me." You smirked
"Come on now." He yanked your hand and pull you
"What if someone's out there already? Then they'll shoot us." You whispered
"Then, let's shoot them first." He smirked, gently turning the door knob and peeked outside
He signalled you that is eas clear so you both silenty walk out the room. You both spotted a figure but he doesn't seem to notice the both of you. You went behind Kuroo, gripping on your gun and ready to shoot.
On the count of 3, 1... 2... 3!" You both ran and shoot the guy, when he was about to shoot back, Kuroo hold your hands and ran with you to avoid getting shot.
"Damn, that was so cool." You panted, growing a bit excited
"Yeah I know right and we still haven been shot, look at how white our shirt." He giggled, pulling you closer and hide on the bush
You both stayed there wating for another victim ambush and run again to find a new place to hide and ambush again.
You looked down the your hands being wrapped around hy his warmth. It was so soft that you didn't probably want to let go of his grasp. It made your stomach have butterflies inside.
"Okay there's someone approaching.. oh it's Lev!" You whispered, you gripped on your gun tight
"Okay, let's just shoot him and run again." He whispered, eyes locked on the target
When the target had approached near the bush where you and Kuroo are hidden, you both stood up and shot him, he let out a startled scream and you both ran with a smug face leaving him there pouting.
"That's cheating!" You heard Lev, you can feel him pouting from behind
"We got lucky!" Kuroo pulled you while grinning
"Yeah, 3 down." You smirked
"Okay let's clear the way until we reach the final stage." He said
The both of you did the same, hide and then ambush someone. Still, your shirts are white same as him. Until you both reach the spot, some students are already back with their shirt full stained with colors. They looked at the both of you with jealousy and amusement in their eyes.
"Wow looks like we won." Kuroo grinned and tightened his grip on your hands.
You looked down, feeling flustered a bit and you find your way to loose on his grasp.
"Y-Yeah, probably."
"Hey!" You both looked where the direction Lev called out together with Yaku, Kenma and Yumi running towards the both of you.
"You guys are cheater! I feel betrayed." Lev pouted and crossed his arms
"Well we got no choice." You chuckled
"Oi Kenma? I thought you're competetive with games?" You patted his back
"Not this kind of game." He furrowed his eyebrows and looking down at his stained shirt
"That's okay." You chuckled, wiping his cheeks that got paint on it
You caught Yumi glaring at you, it sent chills and felt uneasy. You knew you didn't do anything wrong but she kept shotting you with glares, and even telling you to stay away from Kuroo when she knew you can't because you are his best friend.
Later on the teacher spoke, causing all your attention to hers, once she spotted you and Kuroo, you both walk up to her and gave you a coupons for the free dinner.
"I'm really jealous, if you both didn't ambushed!" Lev whined
"Don't be so childish, it's just a game." Yaku said slightly smirking and patted his back
"Yo we're gonna pig out tonight aye?" Kuroo nudged you
"Yeah." You awkwardly nodded, still uneasy and you can feel Yumi glaring at you in the back
You walked up beside Kenma to avoid it.
"Woah, that was so fun and tiring." you muttered out
You threw yourself on your bed, instantly closing your eyes but groaned that you needed a shower since you got sweaty.
"Y-Yumi, do you want to have your dinner with Kuroo? I don't feel like eating today." you awkwardly said
She looks at you, "Are you sure?"
"Y-Yeah." you smiled
"Thank you." she smiled back, but for you it's really obvious that it was fake
Why Yumi?
You sighed and took a bath before going to bed that early. You wanted the free delicious meal really but your gut says no and give it to her since Kuroo had mentioned that he's going to confess so you gave that chance. Remembering that idea made you feel hurt, but you have nothing to do. You blamed your self. Why him? Why Kuroo out of all men out there? You really didn't know yourself, it just happened. You just happened to figure it out so late now that somebody has already like him.and he also likes her back now. You also blame yourself now that your friendship with Yumi is now ruined and complicated.
"(Y/n)?" Kuroo knocked on the door but he recieved nothing, he was about to knock again when Yumi opened it.
"Oh Yumi? Hello." he smiled then took a peek inside and sees you already sleeping
"Hello, uhm are you perhaps looking for (Y/n)? She said she doesn't feel like eating today so she gave her cupon to me, is it okay if I eat with you?" Yumi said in a cutesy tone
"U-Uh sure." Kuroo blushed
"Okay!" Yumi smiled enthusiastically
You opened your eyes, you clearly heard them, you also cringed at how Yumi acted infront of Kuroo, it was just sounded really unusual for her. Again, you sighed in frustration, you really can't get your sleep, you were thinking about many things. In the end you went on to the boys room, you saw there Kenma sitting while playing on his psp, Yaku and Lev are playing too on their phones.
"Yo guys." you greeted catching their attentions
"Oh hey, want some?" Yaku offered you his chips
"Give me one there." Lev ordered, handing him the other bag of chips
"Thanks"
"What are you guys doing?"
"Were playing some horror game." Yaku grinned
"Yeah, it's fun but scary at the same time." Lev cringed
"Wow! Can I watch?"
"Sure come here." Yaku patted his side to sit beside him
"Ohh wai-- AAAAHHH FUCK YOU!" you scream pointing at the screen
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Lev laughed while Kenma let out a small laugh
"(Y/n)! You're too loud! You'll wake or disturb others." Yaku scolded you and gave you a bonk
"That is so scary as fuck." you shook your head
"Watch your words." Yaku gave you a bonk again
"Ow." you pouted
"I'm going to Kenma, that is too scary." you added
"It's just because you're a scaredy cat." Lev smirked
You sticked out your tongue to him before sitting beside Kenma amd rested your head on his shoulder.
"Did you get showered? You smell nice." you mindlessly said, eyes focused on his psp screen
"Y-Yeah." Kenma blushed a bit at your compliment
"Wow you're so good!" you said, pointing at the screen
You didn't notice you fell asleep on his shoulder, Kenma and the other guys can evem hear your loud snores, Lev snickered at the sight.
"It's not what you think." Kenma said, still continued playing and didn't mind you sleeping on him, he tried not to move too much and decreased his sound volume.
Kuroo pulled a chair for Yumi and she gladly sat. She tucked her hair that fell on her face and tucked it behind her ears. Kuroo looks at her admiringly, Yumi blushed.
"Now, let's eat?" Kuroo said
"Itadakimasu." they clapped their hands together and said in unison
"Hey, say 'Ahh'." Kuroo said
"A-Ahh." she opened her mouth and he gently shoves it in her mouth
"It's goos right? Do you want mine?"
"It's okay." Yumi smiled
"So, how did you and (y/n) won together?" she asks breaking the silence, she made is sound not too nosy
"She acidentally entered the builing to hide and it turned out that I was there hiding too, cool isn't it?" he grinned
"Yeah congrats by the way and sorry if I'm here instead of (y/n)."
"It's okay, don't worry." he reassured her
"Oh, and I have something to tell you." He gulped and looked away for a bit, he growed nervous
"What is it?"
"Yumi..." Kuroo looks at her directly in her eyes
"Kuroo?" She stared back
"Yumi... I-I like you, will you go out with me?" Kuroo sweat dropped
"F-Forget about it if you do-" he added but cut off
"Kuroo, I like you too." She said not breaking the eye contact.
"W-Wha-" Kuroo's eyes widened
"Yes, I'll gladly go out with you, because I like you too." She smiled sweetly
"Wow.." Kuroo looked down in disbelief
Yumi chuckled, "Hey?"
"S-Sorry, I-It's just I'm so happy." He smiled from ear to ear still not believing
"Me too." she smiled
