Serena's Pov
This is it this the day i have a chance to fullfill my dream of beating Aria and becoming the Kalos queen,i cannot screw this chance up,I can and i will beat her and become the Kalos queen .Now I am unlocking the door with my hard earned three princess keys
As soon as the doors opened i was welcomed by the crowd with cheers,i quickly glanced to where ash and my other friends sat, as soon ash' s and my eyes met he gave me his cheeky grin,which i honestly adore the most and also it's something which gives me relief from my pains and stress i took a deep breath and waited on the stage as Aria,the now kalos queen came in wearing a beautiful dress

She gave me a look and a small smile before moving towards the front of the stage and when she reached there she said in her microphone "My greetings to everyone present here and also tob the ones who are watching on TV lets have a blast this time too well now enjoy the performances" and she gave a wink towards the crowd and the crowd went wild in response,i taken aback when crowd there went berserk,then I calmed myself as was the host (A/n:in all honesty i dont don't know what that extra tall guy is called)
Said "Now lets welcome an aspiring girl, new to performers world who has reached the master class finals to challenge the Kalos queen herself give it up for performer Serena "
Time skip-To the result announcement time (A/N: sorry guys😔, i tried my best to make a descriptive performance but it only turned out worse than I expected ,if anyone can help me write it pls PM me as of now I have to skip the time)
Ash's Pov
Both Aria and Serena did well in their performances, they were simply awesome,I can Serena is worried.i guess she did something wrong during her performance. Then the host is heard saying now its time for the voting on which performer did better,choose the batton light colour to specify your performer its blue for Aria and Pink for Serena Please start voting now ,for those watching from homes you can vote on your phones so lets begin" I take up the batton near my seat and adjust the light as pink and press the button and a pink light emerges from it and travels towards Serena's Key my friends also did the same then when everyone was done voting i had a doubt whether the blue lights were more than the pink ones,and that doubt was confirmed the moment the the dancing lights stoped on Aria and then the results were shown ,it showed that Serena had received only around half the amount of votes that Aria got,and that meant Serena lost,she could be seen lost in her own thoughts until Aria walked upto her and have her a hand shake with a smile which she have back with a smile,her smile is just one of the things I can't Help to resist.I am sad that she did not win. I hope she doesn't take that lose too hard on herself. "Guys let's go meet up with Serena and cheer her up I she's feeling down so what do you say"i said to my friends Pikachu replied first "pika, Pikachu",then bonnie said "yeah let's go meet her",and finally Clermont said"okay lets go",they got up as they saw Serena leave the stage after talking to Aria and her being crowned by Klefki .
Serena Pov
I made way towards my dressing room,when I saw Ash and my friends called out to me and went and met up with them I was in my performance dress so I told them to wait and went to change my dress and after I was done I went to meet up with them,they all congratulated me on reaching the showcase finals,I smiled at them and thanked them,then we decided to head back to the Pokemon center as it was almost 7 in the night so we went through the streets and when we reached there we all gave our Pokemon to Nurse Joy who took them for their checkup and treatment, when we asked for rooms she told us that only one large room with 4 beds was available,so we took the room we all took different beds and set our things on the small tables beside our beds. Then I went had a shower which i really needed and after everyone had freshened up we all went to and had our dinner we talked about our next destination which was Snow bell city where Ash would get his 8th and last Kalos Gym Badge,he had postponed it so that I could attend the master class performances,or rather for me ,but surprisingly no one spoke a word about the master classes results or my performance.we all ate our dinner in silence which was unusual for our usually noisy group,but I just kept my mouth shut.and so did everyone it was awkward for me,the ash who used eat atleast 4 plates of food left his second plate of food half unfinished. we went to Nurse Joys desk as she called for us as she was finished checking our pokemon and I took my pokeballs and kept them in my over coats pocket and saw ash put his to his belt and pikachu jumped on to his shoulder ,then we all went towards our room
Serena's Pov end

Ash:so guys how about we leave for snow bell city tomorrow morning ?
Serena:sure ash we can i am ready.
Clemont:yes,we can but we have to get the supplies we are gonna need on our journey there right
Ash:that's okay we will get it tomorrow ,so about you Bonnie *looks at Bonnie but she is sleeping peacefully seeing that ash smiles*
Ash:good night guys lets talk in the morning, its 10 pm already
Serena :Good night Ash! let me go change my clothes
Clemont:Good night both of you, Serena will you turn of lights when you come back.
Serena:sure,i will do it .
(Serena changed into her pajamas and came back from the washroom and switched off the lights and laid down on her bed )

Ugh why did i even lose didn't i do my best? ,Am I a bad performer?,Do i deserve my Pokemon, Am I wasting their lives to chasing a dream that I can never accomplish?what should i do?all these remain as questions in my mind that unless answered will not let me sleep peacefully.No Serena you can't give up,you should be like says"never give up until it's over " i guess thats right,i need some fresh air so I'm gonna go out to garden

Serena gets up from her bed and without switching the lights on she tried to move towards the door but she hit something and it made a noise not very loud so looked around in the dark to see whether someone heard it or not since there was no action in the room she decided no one had heard it,atleast that's what she thought.
She opened the door slowly and went out and closed it slowly she then made her way to pokemon centres backyard garden where she sat leaning on a tree ,soon those thoughts again started haunting her and she eventually broke down crying .she began tearing up endlessly she was in great sorrow of her lose. she was so overcome with the hurt feeling that she did not notice Ash walk closer to her until the Ash spoke "Hey Serena are you crying " , "ugh N-no I am not" *starts wiping her eyes and face*
"Those eyes of yours give away your lies Serena"said ash
What ash said was right,the sclera of her eyes were red from all the crying.
"So now,tell me the issue of yours" ash spoke in a calm voice and soothing voice
"Well,it's my lose in the master class it giving me a lot of negative thoughts it isn't allowing me to get some sleep no matter how tired i am "replied Serena
"Just what I excepted"said ash
"You knew that was my problem,but how"asked Serena
"Losing when you were so close to achieving your dream can cause the situation you are going through now"said Ash said with a smile
"Have you ever experienced such situations in your life as trainer "asked Serena asked with a curious look
"Of course I have ,You see the first ever league i participated i finished in the top 16"said Ash
"Ya,i remember you telling that before. But how does this match with my situation any way??" asked Serena
"Well let me complete, well did I tell you guys the reason why I lost?? "Said Ash
"No you didn't, but why did you lose??"asked Serena
"Well one of my pokemon,to be precise my charizard didn't obey me back then and slept in between the battle and you know the rules,i was disqualified" Ash said with a small smile
"Oh does it listen to you now "Serena asked.
"Now he is one among my ace pokemons"replied ash
"So how many pokemon do you have ash "asked Serena
"Uhmmm well i dont remember the exact number but I got this "said as ash as he pulled up photo from his pocket
"All these pokemon are mine"said ash
"Wow ash you have so many kinds of pokemon "Said Serena surprised
"Yeah i do have a lot of pokemon "said Ash
"So better now "asked Ash
"Yeah somewhat "replied Serena
"Not completely over it yet" asked ash

(Seeing Serena's gesture ash understood it was not going to be easy,to help her out of it and moreover he wanted to confess his love for her but seeing her like this at this moment drained all his power but he wanted to help her desperately just then an idea flashed through his mind he quickly got from where he was sitting and looked straight at Serena who was almost on the verge of crying again and said)
"Hey Sere"said ash
Serena's head lifted up as she noticed ash holding out his hand with his signature grin, just like the day they first met during the summer camp. She gave ash her hand and just like what he did during the camp, he pulled Serena up with a little too force so that she would land on him,but instead of letting her free he held her in his arms then put his right hand on Serena's head and pulled it closer to his chest,while his other was around her back.Serena was surprised by Ash's actions and she tried to break free from his hands but before she could,
ash patted her back with his left hand and said "It's alright let it all out"
With that Serena got what ash meant and she soon realized what ash meant she cried herself all out into Ash's jacket but with Ash's comforting her cries didn't last long she was back in full control over herself
With a deep breath Serena said "thank you ash thank you for everything you did for me now i am good you can let go "
"Ok I will leave you only if you promise me that you won't cry anymore for this although you look cute when you cry,i can't bare to see you crying, So does my Sere promise me that "Ash said in a playful tone
"Yes I promise you Ashy i won't cry for this anymore "
"Okay then shall we go back to the room"said Ash letting his hold on Serena loose
"Hey Sere can you do me a favor "Ash said
"Yeah tell me what's the matter on which Ashy needs my favor " Serena asked
"Well you know i love it when you call me Ashy will ya keep calling me that that's the favor that I need" said Ash
"Sure Ashy" Serena said
She faced away from ash and thought "and when will I be able to confess my love for you Ashy"but she said it out,instead of keeping it to herself
"Wait, what was that" Ash asked surprised.
Serena cursed herself and her idiotic mouth which can't keep shut when needed as she realized that she said the things which she thought a.
"what was that again"Ash exclaimed
Serena bit her lips and gulped once before turning and saying
