the radio plays another song.
Dancing in the moonlight. Kicking up splinters.
How the night steals the silence from you throat.
Now your lips are moving, you can't make them stop.
You don't know what to do with your mouth when it's empty.
But really, you just have to talk.
Isn't this what the story was for?
Something always leaks out anyway,
no matter how you cut your tongue up.
Why are you holding all that blood in your mouth instead of swallowing it down?
Or better yet, spitting it out. If you have something to say, spit it out.
