She's the spitting image of what wealth should look like on a girl my age, even her name screams rich. Her name is Sylvia Cove, none other than the daughter of the richest man from miles around.

I was reminded of who she is before the meeting ever started, which was only the minor shock that I was yet to receive.

The meeting ended up lasting an hour. Despite them calling it business, it wasn't. The meeting was about when the date for Taehyung and this girl's marriage was going to be. Honestly, I'm shocked.

My mind was buzzing with hundreds of questions throughout the meeting, wanting nothing more than to run upstairs and ask Taehyung if he knew about this or not.

But thankfully, when the meeting is over, and they leave, I do just that. I rush upstairs and find Taehyung laying down on his stomach, swinging his legs in the air, and reading a comic book on the bed.

"You have some explaining to do!" I rush inside, locking the door behind me. "You're getting married?" The words fall out of my lips.

This stops his cheerfulness. He shuts the book and sits up. "It's...a long story." He rubs his neck. "And it's something I don't want to talk about right now." He explains, standing up from the bed. "Well, we should probably go. Hoseok's throwing his party tonight." Taehyung changes the topic, putting on his shoes and walking to the window. "Ready?"

"Seriously! You're thinking about that? His party can wait-"

"No, it can't. He will be wondering where we are. Come on, we're going to hang out before the party." I wave him off.

"Why would I want to hang out with you?" I scoff.

"Because you're curious about me. I know you want to know all my secrets, and I'm willing to share because maybe we'll switch back after we know everything about each other, right?" He questions, eyeing me over his shoulder with a gentle shrug. "It's better to try than not to at all." Then he smirks, climbing out of the window.

I know he's right. We won't turn back by doing nothing, so I walk to the window and climb outside too, even if going to a party is the last thing I want to do right now.

First, we went to a coffee shop where he said he would tell me his secrets later on, then we went to a nearby park, which he said the same thing. An hour after that, we went to the docks and so on and so on. By the time I had enough of him dragging this out, it was already the end of the day.

The sun was setting, and Taehyung still said nothing about himself. When I brought it up again, he cut me off by saying it was time for Hoseok's party.

If he was going to play hard to get, then fine. He can't hold it back forever. It might be difficult for him to spill but he needs to, or we could be trapped in each other's bodies for the rest of our lives. I mean, this is the only thing we can try.

I don't push him any further, deciding it would be better to ask once we arrive at the party.

With every step we take, we come closer to Hoseok's house. Despite his parents wanting him to be a good kid, he still does what any other kid would do when their parents are away.

Once Taehyung and I make it to the party, we already see dozens of cars parked out on the neighborhood street. Music is blaring, and lights of every color are flashing throughout the house. It was one of Hoseok's bigger parties.

"Maybe we can find him." Taehyung eases, walking forward toward the house with me following close behind.

When we make it inside, the place is full of people. Everyone is drinking, dancing, and outright having a good time. It's one of those parties that I wouldn't be invited to, but luckily, Hoseok is my homie, so I get in easily.

After walking into the kitchen, we soon find Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok all drinking and talking to a group of people.

"Hey, you guys made it!" Hoseok walks up and wraps his arms around our necks, bringing us further into the room after spotting us. "We have so much fun stuff to do. The pool has bubbles!" Hoseok's already somewhat wasted, no doubt about it; however, he wasn't borderline drunk...yet so that's a good sign.

I laugh inwardly because Hoseok is usually the one to get drunk first.

Two girls drag Hoseok upstairs after that. Hoseok shouts victory with his fist in the air and rushes up the stairs with the two girls on his side. He's going to have some fun tonight. After that, it's just Namjoon and Jin left.

"So how's Jimin?" Namjoon asks Taehyung.

"He's doing as good as he can. He's mainly just been sleeping on the couch since we brought him home." Taehyung explained that when I called him earlier in the day that he went back to sleep after going to pick Jimin up from the hospital. "He's taking it easy." Then Taehyung grabs a drink, pouring some in the cup and taking a big sip.

I grab a drink too. I mean, might as well. Maybe if Taehyung drinks a little, he'll open up and explain some about his past.

Taehyung ends up drinking more than he probably should, while we chat with Namjoon and Jin. He refills his plastic cup over three times. It's either his nerves from telling me about his background or maybe because of our situation...possibly even both, to be honest.

"Alright, well, we're headed outside. Some people were talking about skinny-dipping in the pool earlier, and I want to see if they actually did it." Jin admits, patting me on the shoulder and walking past me with Namjoon following after him.

"So want to tell me now-"

"Let's go dance." Taehyung puts our drinks on the kitchen counter, pulling me into the living room with loud music. "Come on, let's have some fun first." I know he's stalling, but I go along with it.

Taehyung starts throwing his hands in the air, reaching for the ceiling like there's something to be caught. His hair goes everywhere, bouncing up and down when he jumps to the beat of the bass.

I just stand there...awkwardly...waiting for my mother to come pick me up-no, not really but seriously, this was something I wasn't planning on doing tonight. I look around the room because I honestly have no idea how to dance, but before I can escape from the living room, Taehyung grabs my hand, twirling his body and spinning me with him. Yeah, he's drunk. It's probably more so since he's in my body too.

"Hell yeah!" He yells happily, probably the most enjoyment I've seen him have in years. "This takes me back!" I laugh at this. He sounds like he's an old man, snapping his fingers to an old tune that's playing on a radio.

Did I just put that picture into your head, yes, yes I did.

"Chill, Taehyung," I murmur, trying to calm him down before he bumps into someone and causes a fuss.

"Why?" He looks at me with a tad of mischief in his features. "What will you do if I don't, Y/N?" He presses his finger into my chest, walking me backward until my back hits the corner of the wall. Nobody's looking, everyone's too caught up in having their own fun to see any of this going on in the background.

"I bet you've never done anything like this before, have you? You're always in that house, or you only leave when your brother goes out with us. You're so naive to things like this." He's a dick when he drinks. I don't even know how the conversation led down this road.

"And? Is there something wrong with staying at home and playing video games all day? What about listening to music and reading?" I narrow my eyes at him. Even though it's clear who's the tallest here, he's still not backing down.

"It is when you prefer to do that rather than spend time with your friends." His voice is cold, harboring a hatefulness behind it. "Friends just don't disappear when they're needed..." He doesn't finish his sentence, leaving it hanging in the air like the cloud-filled ceiling above us. The smoke from cigarettes, fog machines, and no telling what else causes it.

"Taehyung, what are you talking about? Why are you-"

"You left me!" He grabs a hold of my shirt with tight fists. "You fucking left me when I needed you." Then he buries his head into my chest, sniffling softly. He's crying. I gently pat his back, trying to give him some comfort from his muffled cries.

A few guys walk past me, eyeing me coldly because they think I made a girl cry. "She's just uh...a lightweight." I smile innocently, but they don't care that much to get involved, so they walk away.

I sigh once they leave, then focus my attention back on Taehyung. I don't understand what he's talking about, but I let him get whatever this is out of his system.

Glancing around the room, I see no one else notices or cares. Everyone's drunk or high right now anyway.

He finally pulls away with tears stained down my shirt and some still threatening to spill from his eyes.

"Better?" I ask carefully, letting go of his back.

He nods slowly. "I think-" Then before he can say anything else, everything from his stomach lands on my shirt.

I cringe, throwing my hands out in pure disgust. I can't believe this.

"I'm sorry, Y/N." He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand. I don't hear him of course. My mind is racing with the same thought over and over again.

He puked on me. He freakin puked on me!
