Lyla's POV
I woke up to my alarm on my phone going off, I quickly got up and reached for it and turned it off. I quietly got out the bed so I wouldn't wake up Kayce. Today is the last day before I start high school, so let me enjoy it 😂. I walked into the bathroom and took a shower and brushed my teeth, I guess I'll get dressed early 🤷♀️. After my shower I put a towel around me and went to my closet to get out something to wear, something casual. I picked out this 👇
I went back in the bathroom and got dressed and started to do my hair. I put it in a simple bun 👇

I then walked out the bathroom and saw that Kayce was still sleep which is ok. I walked downstairs to see the whole gang once again. How do they be up before me and dressed 🤷♀️😂. Idk shoot. "Look who's up." Mosey said walking up to me and giving me a hug. I was shocked. "He's in a good mode." I said laughing. "Take while you have it." He said going back to his regular self. "You got school tomorrow, right?" Malek asked. "Ya." I said plainly while looking at phone. "Morning beautiful." Chi said walking down the stairs giving me a hug. "So you don't see nobody else standing here?" Cisco said laughing. "Don't be mad that you'll be single for ever. Remember Popp Hunna, im single, im single, i'm single." Chi said laughing at the end. "So that me-." Malek was cut off by the hearing a knock on the door. "Oh he's here." Mosey said heading to the door. "Who's here?" I asked confused. "Some one I just signed." Mosey said. I nodded. Mosey opened the door and in came the guy. I looked at him and knew who it was. "OMG Lynx!" I nearly yelled. He looked over at me. "Lyla?" He said jogging over to me. I ran up and gave him a hug. "OMG it's been so long." Jae said releasing from the hug. "Hol' up, hol' up, you guys know eachother?" Mosey and Chi said together. "Ofc." I said smiling. "How?" Chi asked confused. "Well I met Lyla in L.A when I was meeting up with some friends at the mall and we got each others numbers and talked and became bestfriends, after a little while we lost contact with each other." Jae said explaining. "Ya, I've been wondering how you've been." I said smiling. "Okkkkk." Royce said. "Wow how's mom?" I asked. "She's good actually." Jae said smiling. "That's good." I said looking at my phone. "Ayy I start school tomorrow." Jae said looking at his phone. " I do too, what school are you going to?" I asked. "Oh I'm going to Central." YES YES YES. "Well it turns out that I'm going to Central to." He looked up. "Frl?" He asked excited. "Yup." I said nodding jumping up and down. "Let's goooo, I can spend sometime with my besttttie." Jae said acting sus. I laughed. "Ayyyy ookkk we got business to handle." Mosey said looking at his phone. "Ooooo can I come?" I asked. "No." He said plainly walking to the door. "Why?" I asked confused. "Because I said so." He said looking back at me. "So all ya'll are going to leave me at home by myself with Kay." I said. "OMG Kay's here." Jae said looking up from his phone. "Ya." I said. "Ooooo can I see her?" He asked hesitantly. "Ofc." I said smiling. He headed up stairs and came back with Kay. "Jae's here, Jae's here." Kay said jumping up and down. "Yes he is." I said laughing. "Ok we gotta go." Mosey said abit mad. "What's your problem?" I asked. "You." He said looking at his phone. I shook my head and looked off. "Look I don't have to be your problem." I said grabbing Kay. "I can take all this "pressure" off of you." I said going upstairs. I came back downstairs 10 minutes later with Kayce dressed, she had this on 👇
I walked to the door with Kayce. "I said you can't go." Mosey said stopping me. "I'm not going with you." I said pushing his arm. "Ok then where are you going?" He asked stepping back. "I'm just going to the studio." I said looking at the ground. He nodded. I was about to go out the door but then I heard Jae say, "Wait do you have the same number?". "No, let me give it to." I said pulling out my phone. I gave him my number. "Do you have insta?" He asked going to Instagram. "Ya it's "Lovely.Lyla" I said giving it to him. I got a notification that Jaelynx_ followed me. I opened it and followed back. "Look at chu Mr.NoManners." I said laughing. "Very funny." He said looking away. I laughed then said. "Ima head out." I turned around and walked out the door. "Uh uh you ain't going by yourself, you forgot about Tjay." Mosey said pacing back and forth. "You the one that said you didn't want me to go wit chu guys." I said looking away. "I remember Tjay, he still bothering you?" Jae asked looking remorseful. I nodded looking off. "I'm sorry I lost connection with you." He said looking away. "Look at me lynx it's not your fault." I said. He nodded. "That's for a reason other than that I'd usually let you go with us, I'm trying to protect you Lyla." He said looking worried. "From what? Why won't you tell me, you've been feeling tense for abit." I asked. "Something that you ain't gotta worry bout." He said looking away. "Look Cisco, Malek, YBN Jay, Jay, and Sauve. You come with me." Mosey said pointing to them. "Chi, Jae, Nahmir, Glizzy, and Cordae. You go with Lyla, and if anything goes down ya know what to do." Mosey said nodding. Chi led me and the rest of us to the car. The drive to the studio was silent. When we got there we all got out. "Sooo your continuing your music." Jae said smiling. "Ya." I said going into the studio. I gave Jae Kayce and handed Chi my phone. I walked in the booth and sat down as the beat started.
After about 2 minutes I finished laying down the track ofc I'm not going to put it out yet, and I changed some stuff. I walked out the booth and sat down. "Otay I'm done and hungry." I said looking up. "Bruh that's all you had to do?" Glizzy said. "Ya." I said in a duh voice. "Bro I agree wit her I'm hungry too." Cordae said. "Well ofc you are." Nahmir said laughing. "It ain't funny." Cordae said getting mad. "Look ya'll ain't bout to argue." I said about to get heated. "Ayyy ya'll don't know Lyla, when she get hungry she ain't nobody's friend." Chi said laughing getting on his phone. "No everybody get off their phone NOW." I said yelling at them. "Bruh calm down." Chi said getting off his phone. "Call me bruh again and see what's goin happen." I said giving him a death stare, who he think he is "BrUh". "I'm sorry ma ight, we'll get chu some food." He said getting up and siting next to me. "I don't just want any food." I said calming down. "Whatchu want then." He said getting on his phone. I looked at him. "I'm gonna order your food, chill." He looked at me seriously. "I want MCDONALDS." Kay yelled. "McDonalds sounds good." I said nodding. "K well we might as well go get it." He said getting up. We all got up and got our stuff and walked out of the studio and got in the car. "Your song was fye." Lynx said. "Thank you." I said looking up from my phone. He nodded. "I just got a text from Mosey he said to head home after we get some food." Chi said. We all nodded.
15 minutes later
Mosey's POV
I didn't want Lyla to come with me because we were getting ready to make plans for her birthday in a few days, and I didn't want her to see it. I also didn't want her to see Tjay because I know she was still scared a luh. Sauve and Jay had to hold me back from beatin his behind and his crew. I don't play when it come to Lyla. Then he scared the lil one, heeecccckkk no I ain't playin.
Lyla's POV
We got some food then headed home. When we got home we all got out of the car and got the food then headed inside. When we got there everybody was sitting on the couch playin the game. I looked at my phone and it was already 2:00, which was fine. I looked down and saw that Kay was about to fall out. I didn't know that just going to the studio was going to make her that tired. I picked her up and picked up the food then sat that down on the table and walked pass the gang. "Ay how was the studio?" Sauve asked glancing at me then at the game. "It was good actually." I said smiling. "Ya she sings like an angel." Lynx said smiling. "No I don't." I said laughing. "Yes you do." Jay said laughing. "You sing better than all of us, even Mosey." Chi said smiling. "Bruh stop with that I don't even sing." Mosey said. "Did you listen to your newest song (Enough)." Royce said. Mosey rolled his eyes. I continued to walk up the stairs. I laid Kay down on the bed, and walked back downstairs. I sat on the couch next to Mosey and Neek, it was the only space that was open that I can fit in. "Why you sit next to me." Mosey said looking over at me. "Cuz I can." 🙄. He shook his head and laughed. I sat there and watched them for abit then got on my phone. I looked and saw the my followers are rising fast. I smiled at my phone then got off of it. "When you go to school tomorrow?" Mosey asked. "7:30." I said plainly. He nodded. "Lynx Idk if you'll be able to go to school at all." Mosey said. "Why?" He asked sadden. "Cuz your label and Dee said no." Mosey said. "Bruh c'monnn." Lynx said getting up. "Look I'll see what I can do." Mosey said. "The only reason why they don't want you to go to school is because the people at your school knows your an up and rising rapper and is finna make a big hit. And they all goin crowd you and stuff." Jay said pausing the game. Lynx looked away. "I'm going to school." Jae said. "No your not." Mosey said getting up. "Yes I am." lynx said getting up. "Ight ight, calm down." I said getting in between Mosey and Jae. "Sit down." Mosey said. I stayed right there. "I said sit down Lyla." Mosey said taking his focus off Lynx and looked at me. "No." I said looking at the ground. "Chi come getcha girl." Mosey said looking over at Chi. Chi walked over and tried to grab my hand but I snatched it away. "Look just let him go to school he's not harming anyone." I said putting my hands down. "Ight fine." Mosey said sitting back down. Jae looked at me and smiled. "Thank you." He mouthed to me. "Np." I mouthed back. I looked over at Chi and rolled his eyes and walked upstairs. What's his problem? I followed him to his room. I entered his room and sat down on the chair in his room. "Get out." He said sitting down on his bed. I stayed right where I was. He looked over at me and laughed. "Bruh get out." He yelled at me. "I told you to stop callin me bruh, I'm not yo bruh." I said getting up. "Just get outtt!" Chi yelled. I rolled my eyes and sat back down. I looked over and saw a picture of the gang. I walked over to it and stared at it. "Can you pls get out." Chi said. I could feel that he was lookin in my direction. "Why." I mumbled. He sighed and got up and walked over to me. I backed up and continued to look at the picture. "Look I just got jealous, ight." Chi said. I looked at him. "Why?" I asked. "Idk." He said plopping down on his bed. "Well don't." I said looking at him then back at the pictures. It was this on 👇

"You like the pictures?" Chi asked. "Ya." I said looking at them. "Look at these." He said handing me these pictures 👇
"OMGGG yessss." I said jumping up and down. "You wanna look at the picture I took of you?" I asked smiling. "Ofc." He said smiling. I sat down on the bed and pulled out my phone. I went to my photos and pulled it up 👇
"Omg I look so ugly delete it." He said covering his face. "No I like this one." I said pouting. "Ok I got some photos of you too." He said grinning. I looked. "I swear if I look dumb." I said laughing. "Trust me you don't." He said pulling up his pictures. 👇
"My eyes are closed." I said laughing. "it's my lock screen." He said looking down at the picture. "Ima get out what Ima wear tomorrow." I said getting up happily. "What are you gonna wear?" I asked looking at him. "Ummmm baby I'm not going to school." He said looking at the ground. "Noooooo pllllsssss Ima talk to Mosey." I said leaving the room. Chi sighed. I ran downstairs and into the living room. "Chi's not going to school!" I yelled at Mosey. "No." Mosey said. "So you want me to go to school alone and have no people or crew, and plus what if something happens." I said looking at the ground. "Ughhhhh fine, spoiled brat always get whatchu want." Mosey said getting on the phone with someone. I turned around and skipped up the stairs. I turned around and saw Chi standing there shocked. "H-how did you do that?" He asked. "Idk." I said laughing. I looked at phone and saw that it was 3:00, dang already. "I'm going to post that picture of you." I said going into my room. "Which one?" He asked following me. I showed him and he shook his head at me. "No." He said grabbing my phone. "Yes. If I post this picture then you can post the other one of me." I said grabbing it back. "Really?" He asked happy. I nodded and went onto Instagram. I made a post and was so happy.

"Who's Jade? And why is she coming at me?" I asked Chi confused. "She's someone you ain't gotta worry bout." He said looking at his phone. " ummm I think I need to worry about if she tryna shame me on social." I said looking at the ground then at him. "She's my ex." He and took a big gulp. "It's ok I'm just gonna block her and you do the same, and I'll do the same for Tjay." I said explaining it more. He nodded and smiled. "Tank u." He said smiling. " Ya ok DONT try nothin luh boy." I said gettin up off the bed chuckling a lil bit. "I would never" he said looking at me pretending he was hurt. "Mmk." I said grabbin in my stuff. "Ima get my clothes out for tomorrow." I said walking out the door. "Ok me too." He said looking up at me. "I can't wait for tomorrow." I said happily skipping down the hallway. I looked up and saw that Kay was soundly asleep. All this girl do is sleep 🤣✋🏽. I sat on the chair and couldn't help but think about whoever this Jade girl is and why she hate me. Ik Jonathan said she was his ex but why does she hate me. I mean....... let's go ask Mosey. I got up and walked happily past Chi's room which was closed thank God. When I got there I saw just Mosey....... GREAT. I sat down next to him smiling. "What?!" He asked annoyed. "Look idk why you gotta attitude with me but lose it." I said chuckling. He sighed. "Ight, wassup." He said getting off his phone. "So Chi posted me on Instagram, right." I said tryna get him to follow along. He nodded. "I looked through the comments just because and saw that this Jade girl had something to say about me, talkin bout "UgLy LuH rOaCh WiT hA eYeS cLoSeD" like go somewhere wit that." I said using my hands. Mosey's eyes widened. "Okkkk so what does that have to do wit me." He said laughing nervously about to get on his phone. I snatched it and sat it on my lap. "It has everything to do with you." I said smiling. "Who is she?" I asked fascinated in what he was going to say next. "Did you ask Chi?" He asked laughing. "Don't ask a question with a question stupid." I said lightly hitting him. "Ow man hands." He rubbing his shoulder. "Look I barely hit you, tell me." I said laughing then becoming serious. He looked at me then busted out laughing. "Mosey I'm serious I want to know." I said looking at the ground. "Look she's nobody now, you ain't gotta worry bout her." Mosey said tryna reassure me. "If I ain't gotta worry bout her then why is she on my Instagram and Chi's talkin bout stay away from Chi." I said with tears swelling in my eyes. "Look she's just a clout chaser, and was only with Chi because she saw that he was about to blow up." He said explaining it to me. I nodded starting to understand it more. A tear slipped down my face. "Ay yo wha-." Chi started to say. "What's wrong Lay." He said sitting next to me on the couch. "She was just worried about Jade." Mosey said. Chi sighed. " I told you who she was and that you ain't gotta worry bout her." He said looking at me kinda mad but worried at the same time. "Ik I ju-." I started to say but chi cut me off. "Then leave it at that." He said looking off. " Look I'm tryna get the whole story so if something go down-." I stared to say but once again was cut off. "If something was to go down, do you hear your self?" He asked chuckling a lil. "Look stop cutting me off." I said starting to get mad. " Ik I was risking my feelings when I got into this relationship with you, so before you try to mock me or anything actually listen to what I gotta say." I said with tears coming down my face. He nodded. " I don't know who this Jade is and she's just now coming up, when I asked you before if you were with anyone before me and you said no, but that's not even the problem." I said holding my hand up cuz he was bout to say something. He sat back. "I'm not saying I don't trust you I'm saying I don't trust this Jade girl. She sound like trouble and all I'm saying is don't get chu self tided up." I said brushing my hand against my face getting up. But chi stopped me. "So you basically are saying you don't trust me if you come in here and ask Mosey about Jade when I just told you." He said still holding onto my wrist. " So you really just gon stand here and think something else when I'm clearly tryna to get the story right." I said snatching my wrist back. "Well why did you come in here and ask Mosey instead of me." Chi asked. I just stood there. I really do trust him it just don't look like it. "Wow." He said walking away. I grabbed his arm back but he snatched it. "What!" He yelled at me. "I don't get why you so heated I should be the one mad." I said crossing my arms. "Oh really cuz I felt the same with the whole "Tjay situation". He said using his hands. "First of all that situation is way different from this one. And don't bring Tjay up like if all that was my fault. I finally got away from him. He took my pride my faith my everything. He disrespected my LITTLE sister and me. He hurt me and did the most. So before you say something about him think about. I got with you cuz I thought you were going to be wayyyy different from him, but obviously your not, cuz you ain't acting like it." I said fulling yelling at him and crying. By now the whole gang was in the living room looking at us."I'm s-." Chi started to say. "Oh and what your sorry." I said looking at him still crying. He looked off. "What's going on in here, all I hear is yelling." Sauve said. "They're arguing about Jade." Mosey said. They all widened their eyes and looked off. "So all y'all knew bout Jade but me, wow." I said looking off. "Look can we talk about this in my room?!" Chi whispered yelled. "Nah I'm good." I said then lil Kacey came in screaming. I picked her up quickly. "What's wrong?" I asked concerned. "TJAY SCEAR ME." She yelled. I rocked her back and forth. The gang looked at me. "It's ok he not gon hurt you, I'm here" I said rocking her. She slowly drifted to sleep. "I'm going to sleep." I mumbled. "Wait." Chi said grabbing my wrist. I snatched my hand away and walked away. How he gon be mad at me for asking Mosey something bout Jade. He didn't tell me so I asked Mosey. Then he had the nerves to bring up Tjay he ain't got nothing to do with this whoever this Jade girl is. And if she keep running her mouth she gon be 6 feet deep. I'm tired of people taking advantage of me and think it's ok. Like they can just talk to me anyway they want to. I laid Kay down then laid down with her. I looked at the time and saw that it was 5. I'm kind of hungry but I'll be good. I slowly went to sleep. Idc if it's only 5 I'm going to sleep 😴 .
A/N: Ight this a pretty good chapter 😁👍🏽. I had some thinking to do for what will happen next but I finally got it together. I've been having writers block, but I'm good now 🥳.
