(Leonidas is in Riften to get some mead for himself and his friends)
Brynjolf: Never done an honest day's work in your life for all that coin you're carrying, eh lad?
Leonidas: Not exactly
Brynjolf: Ah. I see. Listen. I can get those pockets even heavier on coin if you accept the proposition I'm about to give you
Leonidas: What did you have in mind?
Brynjolf: I have a bit of an errand to preform, but I need an extra pair of hands. And in my line of work, extra hands are very well paid

Brynjolf: Simple. I'm going to cause a distraction and you're going to steal Madesi's silver ring from a strongbox under his stand. Once you have it, I want you to place it in Brand-Shei's pocket without him noticing

(Brynjolf grabs a potion from his stand)
Brynjolf: Listen everyone! You need to hear this! Gather round, all!
(Leonidas slips behind Madesi's stand and picks the lock to his strongbox as everyone else gathers around Brynjolf)
Brand-Shei: Come on, Brynjolf. What is it this time?
Brynjolf: Patience, Brand-Shei. This is a rare opportunity. And I wouldn't want you to get left out

(Leonidas takes the ring and all the money from Madesi's stand)
Brynjolf: That was a simple misunderstanding, but this item is the real thing. I give you, falmer blood elixir!
Brand-Shei: Come on. Are you talking about the snow elves?
Brynjolf: The one and only. Mystical beings who live in legends and were masters of great magic. Imagine the power that coursed through their veins
Madesi: How did you get it then? No one's seen them in years

(Leonidas carefully puts Masesi's ring in Brand-Shei's pocket, moved so fast, no one saw him)
Brynjolf: Well, I see that my time is up. Come back tomorrow if you wish to buy
Leonidas: It's done
Brynjolf: Looks like I chose the right person for the job. And here you go. Your payment. Just as I promised. The way things have been going around here, it's a relief that our plan went off without a hitch
(Brynjolf hands Leonidas a bag of coins)
Leonidas: What's been going on?

Leonidas: I've been fighting men to the death since I was 13 years old. I'm sure I can handle some pickpocketing
Brynjolf: Alright then. Lets put that to the test. The group I represent has it's hole in the ratway beneath Riften. A tavern called the ragged flagon
Leonidas: I've been there before, actually. It's the home of the thieves guild
Brynjolf: We'll see if you've got what it takes
Madesi: HEY! Who stole my ring?!
(Everyone looks around)
Madesi: Turn out your pockets, Brand-Shei. I know you have it
Brand-Shei: Have what? What in blazes are you talking about?
Madesi: Don't play stupid. I said turn out your pockets!
Brand-Shei: I'm telling you, I don't... Wait, what's this ring? It isn't mine!
Medesi: That's right. It isn't yours. I'll have you punished, Brand-Shei

Madesi: Liar! You know what happen to thieves!
(Madesi takes out a dagger and stabs Brand-Shei in the chest)

(Leonidas follows Brynjolf through the ratway and into the ragged flagon)
