Kara and Lena's Saturday starts off with a bit of a fright. The couple are awoken by Alura jumping on top of them on their bed, with the five-year-old having woken up before them.
"WAKE UP!!!!!!!! IT'S MORNING!!!!" Alura says with a happy sound to her voice, jumping on the bed right next to Lena while Kara and Lena are both cuddled up together.
"What the..." Lena mumbles with a start, being a bit confused as she has suddenly been woken.
"Alura... what.... are you doing?" Kara grumbles as she hides her head further in Lena's chest, clearly sounding tired, like she does not want to get up yet.
"It's morning! I want to get up! I wanna go to the park today!" Alura says, happily.
"Not now... go back to bed... I'm still tired." Kara grumbles in response.
Alura pouts as she looks at Kara and Lena, but fortunately for Kara, as she has her head buried in Lena's chest, she is unable to see her daughter's pout. However, Lena is not so lucky. Lena gets the full view of Alura's pout.
Lena lets out a small sigh.
"Alura, darling, how about we go downstairs and make some breakfast so we can give mommy a few more minutes to sleep. How does that sound?" Lena asks.
Alura gets a look on her face as if she is thinking, deciding upon whether she wants to agree to Lena's terms.
"Okay... but, can we have pancakes?" Alura asks.
Lena lets out a small chuckle.
"Of course, anything you want." Lena smiles.
"YAY!!!!" Alura exclaims, jumping up and down on the bed.
"Alura." Kara groans.
"Sorry mommy." Alura says as she stops and jumps down off the bed.
"Why don't you head downstairs, I'll be right behind you." Lena says with a smile directed at Alura.
"Okay." Alura says as she nods her head.
Alura quickly leaves the room. Kara and Lena can both hear that Alura is running down the stairs, however neither of the two women can actually be bothered to yell out for her not to run, like they have both told Alura countless times now.
"Hmmm.... I want you to stay." Kara hums, snuggling further into Lena's chest.
Lena chuckles.
"I'm not sure Alura will allow that to happen." Lena says with a smirk.
Kara groans.
Lena moves her hand and strokes the side of Kara's head, clearing Kara's hair out of the way so she gets a good look at the side of Kara's face. Lena then moves her head down and gives Kara a kiss on her cheek.
"Good morning, darling." Lena says.
Even though Kara remains with her head still buried in Lena's chest, with Lena only seeing half of Kara's face, Lena does notice Kara grow a smirk on her face, after receiving the good morning kiss.
"Hmm... morning." Kara hums.
Lena laughs again as she strokes the side of Kara's face.
"You are clearly too tired. You stay here and get some more sleep. I will wrangle Alura, and make us all some breakfast. You just sleep in for as long as you like, my beautiful super hero." Lena says with a grin.
"K..." Kara hums, clearly still very tried.
Lena chuckles once more and releases herself from Kara's grip. This action elicits a groan from Kara, but Lena doesn't stop.
"You get some more sleep darling. Take as long as you need." Lena says again, leaning over to bed she has now got out of, and placing a kiss on Kara's cheek again.
Kara just hums approvingly, but doesn't give Lena any other vocal response. At least not with any audible words.
Lena then gets up and puts on a dressing gown after she makes a quick trip to the bathroom, and then she makes her way downstairs to join Alura.
Upon Lena arriving in her kitchen/living room area downstairs, she notices that Alura is already looking through her kitchen cabinets, having got some pans out to cook the pancake mix in, already. However, Alura has also got out just about everything else from Lena's cabinets, not bothering to put anything away. It makes Lena laugh.
"Alura, darling, what are you doing?" Lena asks with a smile, announcing her presence.
Alura has her back to Lena and quickly turns around, her head poking in a cabinet, and looks at Lena.
"I'm getting our breakfast ready." Alura replies with a smile.
"You're getting breakfast ready by getting everything out of my kitchen cabinets?" Lena asks with her signature raised eyebrow.
Alura looks at Lena for a second and then guiltily looks at all the stuff she has gotten out.
"I thought we might need it." Alura says, not very convincingly.
Lena steps closer to Alura, still with that raised eyebrow look on her face.
"So, you thought we might need all of this.... including a... cheese grater... for pancakes?" Lena asks with a smirk.
Alura bites her lip, looking guilty.
"Sorry." Alura says.
Lena chuckles and crouches down and picks Alura up in her arms, planting a kiss on the five-year-old's cheek.
"It's okay darling. Just next time, when you get stuff out, put the stuff that you got out and don't need to use, away. Okay?" Lena asks with a grin.
"Okay." Alura nods with a smile.
Lena kisses Alura again on her other cheek which causes the half Kryptonian to giggle happily. Alura then for her part turns to Lena and places a kiss on Lena's cheek.
Lena smiles lovingly at Alura.
"Okay." Lena says with clear joy in her voice, "As nice as these good morning kisses are, don't you want to make some breakfast?"
Alura smiles at Lena and nods.
"Alright then. You can help me okay? But first, let's actually put away the stuff we don't need so that we can have enough space to make the pancakes." Lena says as she places Alura back on the ground.
"Okay." Alura nods.
Alura then, with Lena instructing her, puts away the stuff she got out that they do not need. Lena then instructs Alura as to what to get out of the fridge and her other cabinets, so they can gather the ingredients to make pancakes.
"Alright, we have everything to start. We can now start making the pancake batter, and you can help me stir it all in a minute." Lena says with a smile as she begins to crack several eggs, after all Lena is making breakfast for herself, Alura, and the army, which is Kara's stomach.
"Okay. The food should get mommy out of bed." Alura replies with a nod.
Lena lets out a loud chuckle upon hearing that. Lena truly loves that Alura knows her mother so well. The young girl is very much aware that her mother has a very big appetite.
"Yes, I'm sure it will, darling." Lena nods with a big grin, as she adds the other ingredients.
"Good. That means we can go to the park sooner." Alura says.
Lena laughs again.
"How about we just let mommy sleep for a while longer, she seemed tired." Lena suggests as she begins to whisk the mix herself, planning to let Alura stir the last bits of the mix.
Alura grows a disappointed look on her face.
"But, I wanna go to the park." Alura says with a frown.
"And we can go to the park. You will just have to wait a while, okay?" Lena says.
"Fine... okay.." Alura says with a bit of a huff.
Lena and Alura then spend the next five minutes just mixing all the pancake mix together, making sure that it is very well mixed, because they have made a lot of it.
"Alright, I think it is mixed up enough for us to start making some pancakes. Do you want anything special in your pancakes, or do you just want a plain one?" Lena asks.
"Chocolate chips!" Alura says with a big grin.
Lena shakes her head.
"Of course that is what you ask for." Lena says, shaking her head, "Okay. I think I have some in my cabinet somewhere."
Over the next 15 minutes, Lena and Alura make themselves several pancakes. Alura has a few with chocolate chips in them while Lena just has plain ones with some fruit on top. However, after Alura has eaten her first few she decides to copy Lena, having plain pancakes with some fruit, although Alura does add maple syrup to hers.
Lena continues to make several plain pancakes, more than she knows that either her or Alura will eat. Lena is just making extra's for Kara. Eventually though, Lena decides to just leave the rest of the mix as it is, so that Kara can make her own pancakes when she does wake up. Lena does this because she isn't sure if Kara will want just plain pancakes. In fact, Lena is pretty sure, that just like Alura, Kara will want something very unhealthy in her pancakes. Then secondly, as Kara hasn't already joined the two of them downstairs, Lena doesn't want Kara just to have the cold or warm pancakes which they have left over, that they haven't eaten. Lena is honestly just surprised that Kara hasn't come downstairs as soon as the food was cooked, she knows that Kara is like a blood hound for food in that regard. Lena just knows that if Kara hasn't gotten up at the first smell of food, then she must really be tired and need some more sleep.
Eventually after about 10 minutes, Lena and Alura finish eating their pancakes. Both of the two ladies are nice and full, and Alura has a very happy smile on her face, clearly pleased with the pancakes she has eaten.
"Did you enjoy that darling?" Lena asks with a grin as she collects their plates from the table and moves them back over to the kitchen area.
"Yes, they were yummy." Alura says with a big grin.
"I'm glad." Lena smiles back.
Alura gets up from the table and follows Lena into the kitchen.
"Mommy still isn't awake." Alura says with a bit of a frown.
"No, she's not. If she didn't wake up from the smell of freshly cooked food, then she must really be tired." Lena smiles.
"Hmm." Alura hums.
Lena looks down at Alura as she washes their plates and notices the slightly concerned look on the young girl's face.
"Alura, you don't have to worry, mommy is fine, and we have all day to get up and go to the park. Let's just let mommy rest and while we wait for her to get up, we can watch some TV down here." Lena suggests.
Alura is silent for a moment, contemplating Lena's suggestion. After about 15 seconds Alura nods her head and agrees with Lena.
"Okay. Can you sit with me?" Alura asks, sweetly.
"Of course darling. Why don't you go turn the TV on and find something you want to watch while I finish up with this washing. I'll join you on the couch when I'm done." Lena smiles.
Alura smiles back at Lena and nods her head before quickly scurrying off over to the TV.
Lena spends the next couple of minutes just finishing up washing and drying a few of their dishes they used for breakfast. The frying pan which they used to cook the pancakes is still on the stove, ready for Kara to make herself, or have Lena make for her, more pancakes, when she gets up. Then also there is a bowl still with uncooked pancake batter, and a plate with a few cooked pancakes left over.
Eventually Lena finishes drying everything and then joins Alura over in the living room area. Alura is happily sitting on the couch and she has the remote in her hand with her tongue slightly sticking out of her mouth as she tries to find something that she wants to watch. Lena smirks because Alura looks very cute like this, with her tongue partly sticking out of her mouth.
"Find anything?" Lena asks as she takes a seat next to Alura.
"Hmmm... yeah!" Alura exclaims suddenly, as she flicks to a channel that has morning cartoons playing.
Lena giggles at Alura's sudden excitement that she found the cartoons.
Alura then puts the remote down and snuggles up closer to Lena, resting her head on Lena's side. Lena grabs them a blanket off the back of her couch and drapes it over the both of them, wrapping her right arm around Alura, inside the blanket, as she does. Alura just looks up at Lena happily, with a big smile on her face. Lena looks down at Alura and smiles back at her. The two don't exchange any words, they just smile at each other for a few moments before they both redirection their attentions back towards the TV.
Lena and Alura watch cartoons together, all cuddled up for about 30 minutes before they are interrupted by Kara finally making her way downstairs. Lena and Alura don't notice Kara's arrival at first, both of their attentions completely directed towards the TV. It isn't until Kara lets out a little laugh that Lena and Alura look over and notice that Kara is awake.
"Mommy!" Alura says happily, quickly throwing the blanket to the side and getting up, going running towards Kara.
"Hello sweetie, how are you?" Kara smiles as she picks Alura up into a hug.
"Good. I helped make breakfast." Alura replies, smiling happily.
"Oh, did you? What did you make?" Kara asks.
"We made pancakes!" Alura replies, happily again.
"Oh, that sounds good. What type of pancakes did you make?" Kara asks, smiling genuinely at her daughter.
"We made all sorts! I started off with some with chocolate chips in, then I had some plain ones with fruit, just like Lena." Alura says with a big smile.
"Well, that sounds nice. Although I have to admit the pancakes with the chocolate chips in sound a lot more appealing to me than the ones with fruit." Kara replies.
Lena scoffs upon hearing that, having gotten up from the couch and approached Kara and Alura.
"I knew you'd say something like that." Lena smirks.
Kara shoots Lena a little smirk.
"We made some pancakes for you too mommy!" Alura says, wiggling out of Kara's arms.
Kara places Alura back down on the ground and watches as the girl walks over to the kitchen area and tries to point to the plate in the kitchen with a few pancakes on. Of course, Alura is too short to actually reach on top of the counter to grab the plate.
"Thank you." Kara smiles as she walks into the kitchen, Lena follows her.
"Yes, we made you some plain pancakes, but I realised I didn't know how much longer you were going to sleep in for. So, I left some pancake batter that I can cook, so you can have some warm pancakes, or some awful unhealthy pancakes with chocolate chips in or something." Lena says with a little smirk.
Kara lets out a little laugh.
"Thank you, Lee. That was very nice of you." Kara smiles as she approaches her girlfriend and takes her in for a brief kiss.
"Hmm... you're welcome." Lena hums, clearly pleased with the kiss.
"Can we go to the park now?" Alura interrupts, breaking Kara and Lena from their intimate moment after their kiss.
Lena and Kara both look down at Alura. Lena lets out a little laugh at Alura's continued insistence that they go to the park.
"Actually, I got a text from aunt Alex, and she asked if we would like to all have lunch with her. So, I thought we could go and have lunch at Alex's, and then go to the park after, the four of us. How does that sound?" Kara suggests.
Alura lets out a little huff.
"But I wanna go to the park now." Alura moans.
Lena chuckles.
"Well, if we go to the park now, we won't be able to see aunt Alex. Do you not want to see Alex?" Kara asks.
"NO! I want to see aunt Alex too!" Alura replies, quickly.
"Good. Then we can all go over to Alex's and then go over to the park after." Kara says.
"Okay." Alura replies, sounding a bit disappointed.
"Darling, why don't you head upstairs and get ready to have a wash. You can get some clothes out you want to wear and your stuff you need to wash. I'll join you in a minute and come help you get ready, while mommy eats her breakfast. That way you can be getting ready while mommy eats. The sooner we are all ready, the sooner we can leave and go and see Alex and then go to the park." Lena smiles, trying to placate Alura.
Alura smiles at Lena, clearly happy with the idea that if she gets ready while Kara eats, they will be able to go to the park sooner.
"Okay!" Alura nods happily, and then quickly runs off towards the stairs.
"No running!" Kara and Lena both yell out.
"Sorry." Alura replies, having disappeared down the hallway leading to the stairs by this point.
Once Kara and Lena hear Alura begin to walk up the stairs, they both turn to look at each other.
"I hope you don't mind that I...." Lena begins but then is interrupted by a passionate kiss from Kara.
Lena is surprised by the kiss, and the ferocity in which Kara is kissing her with, but she isn't unhappy by it. After a few moments Lena quickly kisses Kara back, adding a lot of passion to the kiss too. The two ladies kiss for a good few minutes before they break apart, Lena completely breathless.
"Wow.... what... was that for?" Lena asks.
Kara smiles lovingly at Lena.
"You are so good with Alura. I just... I wanted to kiss you." Kara explains.
Lena grows a little smile on her face, as she blushes slightly.
"Uhh... thank you." Lena replies.
Kara smiles and places another quick peck on Lena's lips once more.
"Now, how about I make myself these pancakes, and you go help get Alura ready?" Kara suggests.
Lena raises an eyebrow in Kara's direction as she looks at the frying pan.
"Do you really think I'd trust you with the frying pan by yourself?" Lena asks.
"I'll be fine Lee, I promise. I have cooked pancakes for myself and Alura literally hundreds of times. It's just the more complicated stuff you have to worry about." Kara says.
Lena looks at Kara for a moment, studying her.
"Fine, but if you burn down my kitchen, you should probably run from my Luthor wrath." Lena teases.
Kara giggles.
"Fair enough." Kara smirks as she takes Lena in for another quick kiss.
"Okay, I'll go help Alura get ready." Lena smiles and then turns to leave.
"Wait!" Kara calls out suddenly, causing Lena to turn around.
"Yes darling?" Lena asks, slightly confused by Kara suddenly telling her to wait. Lena really hopes that Kara isn't about to ask her how to use her stove, it's not like it's complicated. Asking her how to use her stove really wouldn't inspire much confidence in Lena about Kara's cooking abilities.
"Before I forget, yesterday Mrs Landingham told me that a few weeks ago she mentioned something about a lecture Alura's school is doing for women in the workplace. Does that ring a bell?" Kara asks.
Lena thinks for a moment, before she recalls her conversation with Mrs Landingham on the day Lena dropped Alura off at school as Kara had a Supergirl emergency to attend to.
"Yes, I recall. She asked me to participate in the lecture which is going to be for several of the years in Alura's school." Lena nods.
"Good." Kara nods, "Well, Mrs Landingham told me to tell you that they are planning to do the lecture from 9 – 11 on Wednesday next week. She was hoping that you would be available then?"
"Oh... uhhh... yes, I'll have Jess just push some stuff about in my schedule, but I'd love to participate." Lena replies with a smile.
"Lee, are you sure? You realise you don't have to do this if you are busy and don't have enough time. I know it's kind of a bit last minute, especially for a CEO." Kara says.
"It's fine darling. I actually think it's a lovely idea to show young children a wide range of jobs which women do in the work place. Far too often sexism is installed in some of the young children at a young age, due to their upbringing and the influences around them. So, if we can show them that women also do just as many jobs as men, then that should help prevent some of these sexist assumptions forming at an early age." Lena says.
Kara smiles back at Lena.
"That is a nice thought Lee." Kara smiles.
Lena smiles back at Kara.
"Are you coming!?!?!" Alura yells from upstairs, drawing Kara and Lena's attention away from each other.
Lena laughs again.
"Yes! I'm coming right now!" Lena yells in reply.
Lena then turns to look at Kara again.
"I better go help Alura, before she gets too impatient." Lena smirks.
"Yeah. That sounds like a good idea." Kara nods.
Lena gives Kara one more smile before she turns and heads upstairs. Once Lena is upstairs, she can hear water running already, which causes panic to flood through her body. Lena quickly runs in the direction where she can hear the water coming from, heading into Alura's bedroom, and then the bathroom attached.
Once Lena steps inside the bathroom she can't help but break out into a big laugh, with a massive smile growing on her face. Alura has a pout on her face as she is in the shower with the water running. The only problem however, is that Alura still has her pyjamas on and is now getting them all wet, even though she has pressed her back up against the wall of the shower to try and avoid some of the water. All in all, Alura looks like she is in a right state.
"What are you doing?" Lena asks while she laughs.
"You were taking ages..... So I wanted to turn the shower on.... I didn't know the water would come out from everywhere!" Alura explains.
Lena laughs once more.
"It's not funny!" Alura moans.
"Oh, it is funny darling. But here, let me just turn it off so you can actually get out and get undressed." Lena smiles.
Lena reaches into the shower and quickly turns it off.
"There we go." Lena smirks and then looks down at Alura and sees that she is wet on basically half her side. Lena can't help but laugh once more.
"Thank you." Alura says in a bit of a huff.
Alura steps out of the shower, all wet.
"Are you sure you want a shower, and not a bath?" Lena asks as she points to the decent sized bath in Alura's bathroom.
"No, I want a shower!" Alura announces.
"Okay, I'll help you then. How does that sound?" Lena asks.
"Good." Alura nods with a grin.
"You get those pyjamas off and I'll just readjust the shower so it only sprays from one direction. Then you can step in and I'll help you wash your hair, and then you can wash your body yourself. Sound like a good idea?" Lena asks.
"Yes!" Alura nods as she begins to take her clothes off.

About an hour later Kara, Lena and Alura are arriving at Alex's apartment, with the three women now all having eaten breakfast and gotten washed and dressed. Honestly the hardest part of the morning was washing Alura, as she made sure that Lena got good and wet too, completely soaking Lena's pyjamas. Alura told Lena that she didn't do it on purpose, but Lena isn't too sure about that. After Alura was washed, Lena had her shower while Kara helped Alura get dressed. Then once Lena was ready, she kept an eye on Alura while Kara got washed and dressed.
"You're here." Alex smiles as she opens up her apartment door.
"Yep, hey Al." Kara smiles as she takes her sister in for a hug.
"Alex!" Alura says excitedly as she hugs Alex around the legs.
"Hey Alura. How are you today?" Alex asks.
"Good. Can we go to the park now?" Alura asks her aunt.
Alex gives Alura a questioning look.
"She's been asking to go to the park all morning. I told her we could once we had lunch here with you Al." Kara explains.
"Oh, okay, that sounds fun." Alex smiles.
Alex then looks up and smiles at Lena.
"Hi Lena." Alex smiles.
"Hi Alex." Lena smiles back.
"Now, come on in." Alex gestures as she opens her door wider.
Kara, Lena and Alura all come inside, with Alex closing the door behind the trio.
"Okay, I thought that we could wait a while and chat and then I can start our lunch." Alex suggests.
"Oh, are we not ordering anything?" Kara asks.
"I swear, you'd order out for every meal if you could." Lena teases.
"I know right!" Alex says, backing up Lena.
"Oh no, I can't have my sister and my girlfriend teaming up on me! I don't like this!" Kara grumbles.
Lena laughs and places a kiss on Kara's cheek.
"Sorry darling, but you know we are both right." Lena says.
"Hmm." Kara replies, still in a bit of a fake huff.
"Anyway, I thought for lunch I would cook us some slightly spiced chicken, with some rice. Does that sound good?" Alex asks.
"Hmm that sounds nice." Kara hums as she licks her lips.
Alex then turns to look at Lena.
"Is that alright with you Lena? I know that I don't really know any of your dietary restrictions or anything you are allergic to, or just don't like." Alex says.
Lena shoots Alex a smile.
"I'll eat just about anything, other than salmon." Lena says.
"Noted." Alex nods with a smile. "Now, how about we all take a seat?"
"But, I want to go to the park now!" Alura moans.
"We will go, just not yet Alura." Kara says.
Alura grows a pout on her face. Lena sees this and is pretty sure that Alura has worked out that if she pouts, she usually gets what she wants.
"Alura, how about you play some games on my tablet here, while you wait?" Alex suggests, as she grabs her tablet off her coffee table.
Alura looks at Alex and the tablet, and then grows a smile on her face.
"Okay." Alura smiles, taking the tablet from Alex.
Now with Alura placated, for now, Kara, Lena and Alex all take a seat in Alex's living room area, with Alura sitting on the floor by Alex's feet, now happily playing on the tablet.
"So, how has your week been Lena?" Alex asks with a smile.
"Oh, you know. Just some busy boring stuff. Nothing too exciting. I've just had to gets some stuff back in order that couldn't be handled while I was away in Japan the previous week." Lena explains.
"Let me guess, you have to deal with a bunch of people who work under you who can't seem to use their common sense, or own initiative, to do some stuff themselves sometimes?" Alex asks.
Lena smirks.
"Exactly. You sound like you are speaking from experience." Lena smirks.
"Oh, I am. I swear, some of the agents at the DEO have no initiative. Some of them ask myself or J'onn about every little thing that they should do next. It gets kind of infuriating at times." Alex explains.
"Yes, and it wastes your time when you could, and should, be focusing on other, more important, things." Lena says.
"Yes." Alex nods.
"Wow. I had no idea that running a multi-billion-dollar tech company would be similar to helping run the DEO." Kara says.
"I'm sure it's the same with running any company, or government body. I'm sure CatCo has the same issues aswell." Lena says.
Alex nods.
The three ladies then continue to chat about random things for a while, before eventually an hour goes by. Alex then gets up and quickly puts the chicken in the oven and then prepares the rice to be boiled closer to when the chicken is going to be cooked. Then once Alex is finished she returns to the living room area.
"So, Alex, have you spoken to Sam about her new house?" Lena asks.
"Oh, yeah. She showed me some pictures of it. She told me that you and Jess helped her close the deal on renting the place yesterday?" Alex says.
"Yeah. Sam completely fell in love with this house that Jess found for her. So yesterday myself and Jess went there to check it out to see if it had any issues. We found a few things, but nothing major." Lena explains.
"Lena! You didn't tell me this!" Kara says.
Lena looks at Kara.
"Sorry, darling. It completely slipped my mind." Lena smiles, placing a kiss on Kara's cheek.
Kara smiles at Lena, happy with the kiss.
"How much work does the house need before Sam moves in then?" Kara asks Lena.
"Uhhh.. Well it doesn't need any major work. The house doesn't need to be rebuilt on the inside or anything. There are just a few things that need to be fixed, and the house could do with a deep clean. But other than that, it is ready to be moved into right away." Lena says.
"Wow, that's good." Kara smiles and then looks at Alex, "Sam and Ruby will be moving here soon then Al."
"Yes, I know Kara." Alex replies. "The house needs to be furnished with stuff Sam likes first though. She told me she's going to buy all new furniture, as she can't be bothered to pack up her furniture in Metropolis and move it across the country."
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Kara nods.
"Yes, I'm actually having Jess work with Sam next week to get the house ready for Sam and Ruby. To have the house cleaned and furnished, and the few issues fixed. I'm also going to have the house just checked to see if there are any issues with it, that myself and Jess didn't notice, that need fixing." Lena says.
Alex frowns at Lena.
"Isn't that something that the landlord should do for Sam?" Alex asks.
"Oh uhhh..." Lena says, realising that she has to tell Kara and Alex that she actually owns the house now.
"What is it Lee?" Kara asks, noticing Lena's look.
"Uhhh.... Well..... I haven't told Sam this.... as I want to surprise her.... but I actually bought the house from the person who was planning to rent it. I plan on signing over the house to Sam when she moves here." Lena explains.
"WHAT?!?!" Alex says, shocked.
Kara smiles at Lena.
"That's so nice of you Lena. You are really an amazing friend." Kara smiles lovingly, placing a kiss on Lena's cheek.
"But... how did you..... how did you convince the owner to sell.... People who rent their properties don't usually want to sell them..." Alex says, still shocked and confused.
Lena smirks.
"Let's just say..... I gave him an offer that he couldn't refuse.... well over the market value of the house." Lena says with a smirk.
"Oh.. wow..." Alex says, shocked.
"Like I said, Lena, you are a really good friend." Kara smiles.
"What can I say. I'm a billionaire and I like to use my money to take care of the people I care about." Lena smiles.
"You know, I could do with a new motorcycle." Alex mutters.
"Alex!!" Kara says, berating her sister.
"Maybe for your birthday Alex." Lena laughs with a wink.

Eventually after Alex, Lena, Kara and Alura all eat their nice lunch, which Alex cooked for them, they all make their way to the park, much to Alura's excitement. They don't go to the nearest park, which does annoy Alura greatly. Instead, the four ladies all hop in Lena's driver's car, and he takes them to a park about 15 minutes away, on the north side of the city. The park that they end up going to has a lot more open space and grass than the park near Alex's apartment. Then at the same time the park also has a slightly bigger playground in it as well.
"Alex! Come play with me!" Alura says, excitedly, as she tugs at Alex's hand towards the playground.
"Okay, Okay." Alex says with a big smile, allowing herself to be led by Alura towards the playground.
"You be careful sweetie. I don't want you getting hurt or ruining any of your clothes." Kara says to her daughter.
"I will mommy." Alura replies with a smile, looking behind back at Kara.
Alex turns to Kara with a big grin.
"God, you really sound just like mom, when we were kids." Alex says with a smirk.
"Oh Rao! I totally did!" Kara says, ending with a groan.
Alex and Lena just laugh at that.
Alex and Alura make their way into the playground, there are a few other kids inside, and Alura doesn't seem too interested in paying them any attention. Instead, Alura just begins climbing the jungle gym so she can go down the slide, all while encouraging Alex to climb up with her. Of course everything is far too small for Alex, but that doesn't stop Alex from being a good sport and pleasing Alura by following her up the jungle gym.
While Alex and Alura play in the playground, Lena and Kara sit down on a bench facing it, just watching Alex and Alura play together.
"Alura seems pleased we a finally here." Lena says with a smirk, as she watches Alura slide down the slide with a massive smile on her face.
"Yes, although I can't say the same for Alex." Kara says, as she points.
Lena looks in the direction of where Kara is pointing and watches Alex struggle to slide down the slide after Alura, with a grimace on her face.
"No, I don't think we can." Lena says with a big laugh.
Lena and Kara watch Alex and Alura play in the playground for at least an hour before Alura and Alex come and join them. While the couple were watching Alura and Alex they just happily chatted with each other, slowly moving closer and closer to one another on the bench, as time went by. Eventually the two ladies were pressed right up against each other, with Lena resting her head on Kara's shoulder, and Kara resting her head on top of Lena's head.
"Did you have fun honey?" Kara asks Alura.
"Yes! The best! I wanted to play more, but aunt Alex says she's too tired." Alura says with a bit of a pout.
Lena and Kara both laugh at that.
"I swear that was a more brutal work out than what the DEO put me through during my original training." Alex moans as she rubs her back.
Kara and Lena laugh again.
"Mommy? Can you come play with me now?" Alura asks.
"Uhh... how about you take a break for a bit and then we can run around in the grass. I'd be a bit concerned with me accidentally breaking something in the playground with my super strength." Kara says.
"Okay." Alura nods and takes a seat on the bench next to Lena, pressing up against her.
Alex sits down next to Kara.
The four ladies all talk for the next half an hour, with Lena pulling Alura close to her, not really paying much mind to the conversation which Kara and Alex are having. Eventually however, Alura asks again for Kara to go play with her, and Kara agrees. Kara and Alura then both get up, and Kara goes chasing after Alura into the grass area of the park, just behind the bench they were sitting on. Alex and Lena remain seated on the bench, with Alex scooting closer to Lena, so she isn't on the edge of the bench anymore.
Alex turns and looks at Lena giving her a certain look.
"Oh god, you're not going to give me the, 'what are your intentions with my sister?' talk, are you?" Lena groans.
Alex laughs.
"No. I was going to say that I'm happy that Kara and Alura have you in their lives. I know we didn't exactly get off to the best start, with my worries about your family history. But I'm glad that I was wrong. And once more, I'm sorry for my original reaction." Alex says with a sincere smile on her face.
Lena smiles back at Alex.
"Thank you for saying that. That means a lot. And honestly, I don't blame you for your original reaction to me. If I was in your shoes, I think I would have reacted the same. I understand your original reaction towards me was coming from more of a place of you wanting to protect Kara and Alura, not so much from a dislike, or making assumptions, of me." Lena replies.
"Yeah." Alex smiles with a nod.
Lena and Alex just smile at each other for a moment.
"But, now that you brought it up, what are your intentions with my sister?" Alex says with a smirk.
Lena groans and Alex laughs in response. Lena then doesn't say anything, hoping that Alex just leaves it be.
"Well?" Alex asks, still with a big smirk on her face.
Lena turns and looks Alex straight in the eyes.
"If you want to ask me that, it's only fair of me to ask you what your intentions are with Sam?" Lena says with a smirk.
Alex's eyebrows immediately raise and her face turns a shade of red. Lena can't help but laugh in response.
"Well played Luthor.... Well played." Alex mutters.
"Thank you." Lena laughs.

Kara and Alura remained playing in the park for about an hour, just running about with each other. By the time that they finished it was quickly approaching late afternoon, so the four women agreed that they would end their day together by having a nice dinner out.
The dinner itself didn't have anything of note which occurred during it. Kara, Lena and Alex chatted while they waited for their food, with Alura's attention being held by some kid's coloring menus which the restaurant provided. Alex and Lena both drank some nice scotch with their dinner, while Kara stuck to wine, even though it had no effect on her. The group then just proceeded to have a nice, slightly early, dinner with one another, just chatting with each other, and just generally enjoying each other's company. By the time they finished and called for the bill of their meal, Alura was clearly struggling to keep her eyes open, obviously exhausted with all the playing and running about she has done throughout the day. Lena then paid for the bill, much to Kara's protest, although Alex didn't mind at all. Then once the bill was paid the ladies all left the restaurant and began walking back to their homes. The group decided they would walk back because Lena's apartment and Alex's place were both relatively short walks from where they were, only about 10 minutes each.
Kara, Lena and Alura all say goodbye to Alex as they part about a block away from the restaurant, with Alex going in a different direction as she heads home. Kara, Alura and Lena then all continue walking back in the direction towards Lena's apartment. Although, really Kara and Lena are the only one's walking, as Kara is carrying Alura in her arms, who has mostly fallen asleep. Lena does find it amusing that it just is an unspoken fact that they are going back to her penthouse, instead of Kara's place. Lena is glad that Kara and Alura feel comfortable at her place.
Kara and Lena walk for about 7 minutes, talking in soft tones as Alura remains asleep in her mother's arms. Both Lena and Kara would like to hold hands as they walk back to Lena's, but they are unable to due to Kara needing both of her hands to carry Alura, and keep her in her arms. Eventually however Kara stops, suddenly.
"What is it Kara?" Lena asks, concerned, noticing Kara has a worried look on her face.
"Someone is calling for Supergirl." Kara says.
"Oh... I uhhh." Lena says, not having experienced this situation out in public yet.
"Here, can you take Alura," Kara says, as she hands Alura to Lena, "while I go take care of this? I'll meet you both back at your place."
Lena nods as she carefully takes Alura in her arms. Alura doesn't wake up at all as Kara transfer her over to Lena.
"Okay, be safe." Lena says.
"Always." Kara nods and places a kiss on Lena's cheek before she takes a quick look around and then shoots up into the air.
Lena then carries Alura in her arms, acting as if she is carrying the most precious thing ever, back to her penthouse. Lena and Alura make it back to Lena's place about 5 minutes after Kara left to go do her Supergirl activities. Luckily, Lena is able to free one of her hands just enough to type in the code to first access the elevator up to her penthouse, and then access the hand print scan and key pad to unlock her penthouse front door.
Once Lena steps inside with Alura she takes a moment to just think about what she should do. Lena could wake Alura and tell her they are back at her penthouse, but Lena doesn't think that that's a good idea. Waking a young child from their sleep is never really a good idea after all. So instead, Lena has a quick look at the time and notices that it is actually after 8PM in the evening. Lena is surprised by this as she didn't realise they stayed in the restaurant for over 3 hours. So due to the time, Lena decides that she can just put Alura to bed.
Lena makes her way upstairs and then into Alura's bedroom where she carefully places Alura gently down on her bed, the young girl still sleeping. Lena then searches for Alura's pyjamas. Lena spends a good few minutes searching for them before she remembers that they are probably still wet in the bathroom from earlier in the morning. Thankfully Lena then remembers that Alura did leave some pyjamas at her penthouse from when she was staying with Lena while Lena looked after her over a month ago.
Lena gets out the pyjamas from a drawer and then goes back over to Alura. Alura is still sound asleep. Lena thinks that the whole process would be a lot easier and quicker if she wakes Alura up, but she really can't find it in her heart to do that. Alura looks so peaceful sleeping. So instead, Lena just takes the clothes off of the sleeping Alura and places the pyjamas on the five-year-old. Alura does sort of wake up in the middle of it, but she doesn't open her eyes. She just makes a groaning sound and then obeys Lena when she asks her to move parts of her body to help her put the pyjamas on.
Once Lena is finished putting the pyjamas on Alura she then moves the young girl under the covers of the bed, tucking her in. Alura is still mostly asleep, she certainly hasn't opened her eyes. Lena then leans down and places a tender kiss on Alura's forehead as she brushes some hair out of her face.
"Goodnight, darling." Lena says and then begins to walk away, not expecting a response.
"Night........ momma." Alura replies.
