When Thomson arrived back home the sun was just barely rising and the town was slowly coming to life. He smiled as he saw his own home and had just gotten off his horse having been about to head in when he heard an oh so familiar string of curses and soft fighting from inside. He groaned softly and contemplated if he was smart to just leave for a few more hours or not.
Ultimately he found that he'd like his house to stand for a while longer and he dragged himself inside and to the source of the yelling. He casually tossed his things on the couch and made his way to the bedroom where he assumed hell had broken loose.
"YOU ABSOLUTE BITCH! YOU JUST HAD TO-"
"ME?!LOOK AT YOURSELF I DIDN'T DO SHIT!"
"YOU FUCKING PUS-"
"TOMMY- watch your mouth- what on earth are you two going on about?" Thomson said as he crossed his arms as he looked over Tommy and sapnap who had gone quiet both looking a bit shocked to see him and be caught
"Dad- when did you.." Tommy started but noticed how serious he looked and closed his mouth
"I'll tell you later- now tell me what you two are fighting about" he sighed softly
"He nearly set fire to the bed-" Tommy squeaked before Sapnap could get a word in
"Yea after you scared the shit out of me- I was sleeping till he started to hit me with a pillow-" Sapnap said in attempt to defend himself
"Yea right you flammable motherfucker-" Tommy hissed.
Thomson just rubbed his temples before he looked up to them suddenly "where's your sister-" he said with a panic in his voice but he was only met with a shrug. He rushed out of the room about to go into a full blown panic but he stopped as he ran into his bedroom only to find both Y/n and tubbo in his bed sound asleep under his covers. Tommy and sapnap came up behind him a bit worried. Tommy looked to his sleeping siblings then his father before walking in to see if they really were asleep, Sapnap sat there a bit awkwardly as he looked over at y/n who was out cold so peacefully.
Thomson smiled softly at them seeming to calm down "Sapnap...I don't know how safe it if for you here now, I believe I've pissed off the king..." he said softly as they both watched as Tommy poked and prodded at tubbo and y/n neither of them reacting much having been used to it
"Don't worry...I can handle it anyway you owe me training" he said playfully to him.
"Well...I may or may not have threatened his life..." Thomson mumbled
"Oh..." the room was silent aside from Tommy's snickers as he had found some cold stones and was lifting Tubbo's shirt to place them on his bare back.
Tubbo sat up with a jolt and a small squeal. Tommy burst out laughing as he saw him freak out a bit. Y/n wasn't having any of their antics as she covered her head with the pillow that had been under Tubbo's head.
Thomson smiled as he went over and gently managed to pick up both rowdy boys. "Cmon I'll make breakfast-" he smiled as he carried them to the kitchen and sapnap stayed behind walking over to y/n.
"Past...get up...your dads home.."
"Mmm fun..."
"...he's making food..."
"Sounds nice..."
"If you don't get up I'll carry you..."
"Try me you big hot bitch" in her half asleep state she seemed to be much more vulgar But Sapnaps ears went pink as he heard her sleepy words.
"Fine then- I will" he said before promptly tossing the covers off of her, making her bring her legs up to make up for the loss of warmth. He then tugged away the pillows Hearing a soft whine from her. He then gently managed to scoop her up into his arms though was surprised as she simply leaned into him not bothering to open her eyes. His face was bright red now but he didn't protest as he gently held her close and he rested his chin on her head and carried her into the kitchen once his face was back to normal.
At the table Tommy AND tubbo shot Sapnap a glare silently as Thomson seemed to be busy cooking. Sapnap, now a bit nervous, gently placed Y/n in a seat and sat beside her, not wanting to start any conflict with Thomson there.
"So...what happened..." he asked softly as he looked to the kitchen
"Just some more crap...if I were you I'd do that check in...he might try to find you...I plan to go up to l'manburg with them at the end of the week...you should head up then so you won't be caught amongst all the people already traveling, we can pick you up when we leave if you'd like" Thomson said as he brought over plates but the food this time actually looked edible and identifiable.
Sapnap just nodded as he thanked him softly and dug in. The rest did the same y/n too sleepy to really start up conversation and tubbo and Tommy seemed to be almost talking telepathically as they stayed silent.
The first two days Tommy and tubbo had a distaste for him, Tommy more than Tubbo, Thomson genuinely enjoyed his company and y/n did too but she was a bit hesitant. By day three Thomson had started training and Tommy and Tubbo had joined in a bit, Sapnap thought they did it to try and beat on him but he noticed they tended to be a bit more open at meal time with him. Day four Thomson had a shorter training time with him but he trained with tommy and tubbo a bit longer and saw that even y/n had come to watch. That night he didn't think he had seen Tommy so open or positive with him.
Day five was probably his favorite Thomson trained all three boys y/n having to do chores but when she was done she eagerly came over to watch and when Thomson left to get leather and some supplies for Sapnap to make the smelter she actually asked to join, tubbo had protested a bit as she wasn't very skilled but Tommy had been ecstatic. Sapnap found very quickly that she really didn't know too much with any of the weapons, he let Tommy and tubbo do some simple sparing and took nearly two hours just versing her in basics before Thomson called them to lunch. Sapnap couldn't help but smile as he joked with Tommy, talked strategy with tubbo and Thomson and gave pointers to Y/n, they had to do chores after that but later at bedtime as it got quite cold he was surprised as they actually urged him to come to their bed and be their 'personal heat supply' he smiled and just laid down surprised to wake up to a dogpile but he just blushed madly as he felt y/n cuddled up to him.
Day six, he was really starting to understand what they had meant about snow storms as the moment he walked out he retreated back inside to layer up a bit. Training was a bit shorter as Thomson hadn't wanted any of them to get a cold but they still made sure to have y/n train with them a bit after and when they went inside they were given warm cups of cocoa. Sapnap had to leave that afternoon to be at the castle in time to check in but he had made sure to leave any evidence with them, he was happy to be given a warm hug by Thomson but the small one from tubbo and hearty Pat from Tommy made him smile.
"I'll be back- don't go all mushy on me now" he teased them softly and earned a soft punch from Tommy
"Oh fuck off- we'll celebrate your absence-" Tommy said but he couldn't hide his smile.
Sapnap smiled as he ruffled his hair and got on his horse. He waved at them and was about to head off when y/n stopped him, she managed to pull herself up enough to kiss his cheek as a small good luck and she stood with the others as they waved him off.
Sapnap waved and was off looking calm but once his back was turned he couldn't help the red face and giddy look on his face. He felt as if things were going absolutely amazing as he headed to the kingdom, his blush dying down but he kept his smile occasionally placing his hand on his cheek, he knew it was something she did whenever any of them left but it felt so special when she gave him a kiss.
As he arrived he had to go to a more deadpan face but he still felt giddy. He nodded a bit to the men at the gates and he went to tie up his horse nearly throwing a punch as he was poked in his lower back.
"WH-at the fuck man" he said as he whipped around to see none other then Dream
"I thought you weren't coming home to check in?" Dream said a half hearted smile on his face
"Well I missed your ugly mug, now I've seen it though I think I'll leave-" he said a bit playfully
"Asshole- now that you're here though, we plan to go to L'manburg for their celebration do you want to come with?" He asked with a small smile
"Uhhh sure but I think I'll take off from there, I need to get going though before the weather turns bad" he said and he headed to the forms where he needed to check in. He had taken off his jacket leaving him in a simple tank top as it was warm there still.
"Woah man you've been busy huh?" Dream said as he noticed the soft bruises that littered his skin.
"Oh- I guess, having a lot of fun I didn't really notice them" Sapnap said as he looked over them thinking back to his training with Thomson.
"For my training this month is it ok if I grab a few things? I'll bring them back" he reassured him with a small smile.
Dream hesitated but nodded eventually "fine just don't get into trouble while you're out ok? I don't want to have to come rescue you" he said as he gently punched his arm
Sapnap just nodded and they parted ways as Dream had things to do himself.
Sapnap felt a bit of relief as he was now on his own, and he did his check in then he headed to the armory, he planned to take everything with him so he didn't think he needed to be in his room too long seeing as he already had his supplies. He just went around looking at everything there, he hummed as he thought back to training, tubbo had excelled with a bow, Tommy was best with a sword or axe but y/n was still a bit new to everything, he just decided to grab another axe as he thought she might find the most use with it. He neatly managed to pack them and then he looked over everything and he found a few things for himself before he finally went to his room wanting to sleep. He was surprised to find a package on his bed. He curiously went over to it and he looked for any indication of what it was or who it was from. There was nothing to give him a clue and he eventually just opened it, inside was a note and a gorgeous looking suit. He grabbed the note first opening it and reading over it he was surprised as it was a wedding invitation but not one he would have thought he'd get.
"Dear Sapnap, Please join us for the wedding of Skeppy and Bad!" He read aloud to himself softly and he couldn't help but smile a bit. He decided he'd bring it with him as the date was sometime during his month away. He made sure his things were ready for him to just leave after the celebration, he figured it should be a quick appearance then he'd hide in Thomson's wagon until they left.
