I woke up with a pounding in my head when I woke up and thank god it was dark when I woke up. My body wasn’t numb that much anymore and so I decided to go and find Nate. I walked down the stairs and stopped walking when I heard Kayden say my name.
“Nate its bad man. All over her car was cocaine, dashboard, steering wheel, seats, everywhere. I don’t think she noticed how much she was taking. She’s gotten more addictive then we have in a very short amount of time, she’s going to end up killing herself”
“Fuck and it’s all my fault” Nate assumed
I walked out and said
“No it’s my fault I could have said no”
I walked over to the fridge and pulled out some milk and made myself a bowl of cereal.
“But I offered it to you” Nate whispered almost so low that I couldn’t hear him
“Again I could have said no” I hissed taking a bite of my cereal.
“Are you still mad at me?” Nate asked me
I don’t answer just continue eating my cereal, ignoring his question. I can tell he’s getting mad by the look in his face.
“It wasn’t my fucking fault Kailey so stop trying to make it my fault. The whore jumped on me and I pushed her off me. Do you know how many times I have to stop myself from punching the shit out of people when I see the way they look at you? It happens a lot more then you think it does, about every time you walk out of the house. I stop myself though I don’t storm off and almost kill myself like you did today” he snapped
It’s true the way I dress now and the way I act are completely different then I use to, but I’m still mad at him I don’t have guys trying to make out with me everywhere. I finished up with my cereal and walked into the living room. I lay down on the couch and turned on the tv, wrapping myself up in a blanket. Nate walked in soon after and stood in front of the tv blocking off my view.
“Nate stop I just don’t want to talk to you right now” I stated
“But I don’t like it when you’re upset with me princess, please just come to bed with me” he pleaded
I laid there for a moment debating and Nate started pouting. I swear that was the funniest thing ever. I couldn’t help, but laugh at him. I shook my head and got up wrapping my arms around him. He let out a deep breath and we went to bed. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me as close to him as he could, and I wasn’t complaining. We fell asleep within moments, but that didn’t last long.
BANG, BANG, BANG. What the fuck was that? I got up out of the bed where Nate was, but isn’t anymore. I wasn’t wearing my clothes from the night before, but I was now in just a white button up shirt that came down to my upper thigh.
BANG, BANG, BANG
What the fuck was that noise? Where the fuck was Nate and Kayden? I walked downstairs were I saw Nate and Kayden sitting at the bottom of the stairs just staring at the door.
“What the fuck you guys? Who the fuck is banging on our door?” I almost yelled
I startled both of them and Nate came rushing over to me placing him hand on my mouth.
“The people out there are from a gang we pissed off” he whispered in my ear.
“NATE! KAYDEN! WE KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE, SO OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR” I heard someone shout
I had an idea. I licked Nate’s hand and he instantly let go.
“Let me answer the door pretend like I don’t know who you are and get them to leave. Y’all just have to sit in the kitchen and not be seen or heard” I stated
The boys both looked at each other and shrugged and walked into the kitchen.
I rolled my eyes and made myself look as tired as I could be. I slowly opened the door and made a fake yawn come out. I blinked a couple of times before I looked up at the men.
“May I help you?” I asked lazily leaning on the door.
They were all looking me up and down and by their faces they were liking what they saw.
“Can you get Nate and Kayden for me sweet cheeks” said the one with semi long golden brown hair, hazel eyes, with a little beard growing, he was also about 6’7
“Whom is that?” I asked
“Sweet cheeks we know they live here we followed them here so don’t even try my patients” he stated
Shit
“You must have the wrong house” yawn “I’m the only one that lives here” I stated confidently
“Sweetie” he got up close to me stepping inside the house a little “It’s not smart to lie to a gang member, so I suggest you go get Nate and Kayden before you regret lying to me” he stated
“Um who are you exactly?” I asked him actually wondering considering he was pretty hot.
“I’m Ky, and whom are you pretty lady?” he said walking even closer to me grabbing onto my hips
“Kailey” I said taking a dangerous step closer to him
“Kailey that’s a pretty-” he was cut off by Nate barging into the room and yanking me away from Ky.
“Kailey what the fuck get away from him” he almost shouted
“Oh is this your girl Nate? I understand why you like her she’s sexy as hell” he smirked at Nate’s reaction
Oh damn he knows how to push Nate’s buttons. Nate moved me behind him acting as a shield for me.
“Ky what do you want?” Kayden asked standing next to Nate
“I want my money back for the fake shit you sold me” he hissed at Kayden
“We don’t have the money we used it all the other day” Nate said as calmly as he could
“Well I suggest you find another payment within the next oh five minutes” he smirk along with the rest of his gang behind him.
“We don’t have anything that we could use as payment” Kayden said
“Well that’s a pity” Ky smirked, oh I liked his smirk “How about we take little oh Kailey till you can give us our payment” I could see the challenge in his eyes
“NO” Nate shouted
“Fine you have five minutes to find us a payment or we shoot the two of you and still take the chick”
“I’ll go Nate. I’ll be fine” I said breaking away from Nate’s hold
“Kailey-” I cut him off
“No Nate I’ll be fine I’m big girl and I don’t think they’ll do anything to me” I said looking over at Ky with my sweetest face
“Yah we’ll take great care and I’ll make sure no one hurts her” Ky said and I could tell he meant it
“Let me just go pack my clothes and stuff up” I said rushing up to my room and I knew Nate was following me.
I grabbed my duffel bag and started throwing in all of my favorite clothes.
“Kailey please don’t let them push you around” Nate pleaded wrapping his arms around my waist.
“I know Nate I won’t I’ll be fine I promise” I said turning around and kissing him right on the lips
“Kailey, I-I love you” he said not meeting my eyes
“Nate look at me” I said and he looked up at me “I love you too” he smiled and kissed me lightly and I continued packing up my things.
I finished up and slipped on some boxers so that I would have some pants on. I walked down stairs, but before we came into view of the others I kissed Nate one more time then continued walking down the rest of the stairs.
“Ready to go Kailey?” Ky asked
“Yah hold on” I said going to hug both Kayden and Nate, Nate more so then Kayden.
I walked out of the house with Ky and his gang leaving Nate and Kayden behind me. In all honesty I kind of don’t care.
