"Believe me, that doesn't do the trick." said by the big black man with yellow eyes and yucky teeth. My door creakingly opened and I immediately covered myself with a blanket because I was already suppose to be asleep. Mr. Boogeyman gave the loudest roar that made my heart pound so nervously!
I got up when the door shut.
"Why do you keep on scaring my father! That's not nice!"
"Let me tell you a little secret, Maggie.." He tucked me in. I hugged my doll. "Boogeymans are trapped creatures. Once you move houses, I cannot follow you. And, I won't be able to protect you every time your father creeps on bed with you at night."
