After we took a stop to rest a little along with getting some sleep,me and rika continued on our journey to.....
"Where are we going again?"I asked her
She then instantly hit me in the head
"ARE YOU TELLING ME WE'RE WALKING AROUND WITHOUT YOU KNOWING WHERE WE'RE GOING?!"she asked me
I held my head in pain
"I was too focused on getting us out of that village that I didn't think of where to go"
She sighed
"What's your objective?What's the point of all this mess you started"she asked me
"Well I was captured away from my mother to be used as bait for a giant monster who turned out to be a god and pumped something in me that turned me into this"i said showing her my body
"That explains the weird traits you have,I assumed you were like the animals we usually see but what you look like now is nothing like them what even is that?"she asked me
"From what my guts are telling me it's a tanuki"
"How do you know What's it name?"she asked me
I shrugged my shoulders as I had no idea how that information came into my mind
"Well we don't know what these even are so I'll just take your word for it,Anyways,I assume you got in trouble for carrying the blood of the god that saved you?"she asked me
"Which leads to me being hunted down by everyone"
"Well damn,I thought you were actually evil or some stuff like that,anyways What's the plan?"she asked me
"Everyone is chasing me so even if I went back home nothing would change,I need to find the ones who started all this and make them stop this nonsense"i said
"I see,but who will we target?"she asked me
"Who do you think are the leaders you think?"I asked her as she thought for half a second before realizing what I meant as I smiled
"SO YOU REALLY ARE GOING ON A WAR AGAINST THE ENTIRE WORLD!!"she shouted at me
"Hey it's not like I want to!I have to do this otherwise they'll never leave me and my mother alone!"I said
She sighed
"*Ugh* fine let's just go then,you better come up with a plan for this that doesn't involve us having to butt in head first and get caught"
"Well first we need to get in and find a place to rest as well as know what it looks like"
"I've been in it a few times in my escapades so I know the basic layouts of this place"she told me
"Great let's go!"I said as the bottom half of my body turned into that of a horse
"Come on!"I said
"What even is this?"she asked as she got on board
"If my instincts is right then I turned into a horse!I feel like I can go really fast!,wanna see if this is true?"
"Wait HOLD O-"she didn't finish as I kicked off at high speed towards one of the cities that was nearest to us which could take us an entire day or two according to her predictions
"We'll need to find a way to enter the city without being spotted"
"We're gonna have to find a way to sneak in"
"Maybe the sewers?"I asked
"Then let's go by the beach and hope they aren't searching for you there too"she said as I continued while slightly changing direction to my right as we were heading to the Sandy beaches as we stopped
Rika then focused her sight far away to see if there was anyone ahead of us
"The coast is clear, although I can see traces of wheels so they probably came here to investigate as well,we should hurry up before they get back and maybe expect some guards in the sewers in which case we'll need to take them down fast"she said as I nodded and she got off me
We started to quietly run to the large pipe that was sticking out from the rocks
"I just can't wait to teach the people who framed me a lesson"I said as we jumped in as I instantly covered my nose from the intense stench that was coming out and given my new nose,I could smell it very clearly and I hated it
Meanwhile Rika also looked like she had a bad experience but not as bad as what I was going through
We walked through the narrow pipes avoiding all the things that would go down here as wastes or toilet excrements
We finally made it to a wide area as we looked for a way up as we saw plenty of pipes leading up to what appeared to be just under a road
"Let's climb up then"said Rika as she took the ladder there
Meanwhile I just looked at my feet as I started to feel a tingly feeling in them
Suddenly they started to stretch out as my five toes turned into three long ones that felt slippery
"Kangaroo feet...."I said as I then looked at my tail to see it had changed as well with my stomach as I felt something under my shirt
I ignored that and instinctively jumped one by one reaching the top before rika as I looked at her
"Hehe!"
"Hey I don't have weird animalistic powers like you do okay?!cut me some slack here!"she said while slowly climbing as it took her a solid three minutes for her to reach me
"I-"
"No"she stopped me before I could talk
We could now feel the cars on the road above us as well as what could be considered to be thousands of people walking at high speed
"People are going nuts trying to find you"said rika
"All the attention in the world..."I whispered
"Did you say something?"she asked me
"Nothing, let's go"
"Where to?do you know where you're going?"
"We just find the areas that have no cars or people walking,those should be our safe spaces"
"Huh,I can't deny that you're right"she said
"Of course you can't!"I said as we then started making our way trying to find whatever tunnels had less noise
"Okay I think that's the right one"I said as we both got out from the sewers as we then were in a small alleyway that barely had anyone in it
"Good,this is a good spot,to think of our next move,do you know where their main building is located?"I asked her as she looked around
"There!"she pointed out of the road in front of us in which we could see from a distance
A large tower that looked to be very old and new in design but also beautiful as it looked several eras where carefully crafted together and not stacked on top of each other,it easily towered over the entire city so high you could see it from far away
"We know where to go now, we'll just have to get back into the sewers trace our way there"I told her as she nodded and we began to walk back to the sewers
As soon as we turned around something crashed in the floor at high speed making us look away for a second before we looked back to see a sword stuck in the ground
"Uh oh,I recognize this sword!"said rika as I instantly looked back from where it came from and a flash of red was all I could see as I quickly put my arms up for defense as I felt my muscles tense up and reduced the shock of collision considerably which made it so that I slid across the floor before regaining balance
"You two made a mockery of me!"
She then came in full view as she picked up her sword
She then hit rika to the side sending her flying in a garbage
'theres's no other choice!!'i said as I jumped down to the sewers once more
"WAIT HERE YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!"she screamed as she jumped in to follow me as she found me waiting for her
"No more running away!"I told her
This time,I need to somewhat beat her otherwise our mission will end before it has even started
