Third Person's POV

Julia was in the tent she shared with Octavia when Clarke peeked her head in. Julia looked up from what she was doing to see what Clarke wanted.

"Octavia's not in here, if she was who you were looking for." Julia said, even though Clarke was able to see that without her having to say it.

"I know. I'm actually looking for you. We got the video link set up to the Ark and people have been going in to talk to their parents, but now Councillor Kane is asking for you." Clarke informed her.

Julia's face scrunched up in confusion. "Councillor Kane wants to talk to me?" She repeated and Clarke nodded in confirmation.

Julia was still quite confused, but got up and followed Clarke to the dropship. "It's right in there." Clarke pointed at a certain area inside, but didn't move to go any further as it was now Julia and Kane's time to talk.

"Okay, thanks Clarke." Julia spoke before entering the area and sitting down in front of the screen that showed Councillor Kane. She put the headset on and focused her attention on the screen.

"Um, hi. Clarke said you wanted to speak with me." Julia spoke. She tried not to be too awkward or to show too much anger towards him, but both attempts failed miserably.

She didn't know Kane personally, but she did know that he was the one who floated their mother after she and Octavia were discovered.

"Yes. The Council is taking turns talking to those who don't have anyone else on the Ark to speak to." Kane explained, but Julia detected that he wasn't telling the full truth. But she ignored it as she couldn't help but let her anger and resentment show as she let out a scoff-type laugh.

"And they allowed you to be one of the ones to talk to us? That's rich considering you're the reason quite a few people here have no one on the Ark to talk to. You floated my mother. You've floated countless mothers and fathers and friends. I suggest you find a different council member to take your place before someone who actually really cared about someone you floated comes in." Julia finished her rant and didn't even wait to hear his response before taking her headset off and leaving the room.

To say Julia didn't have the best relationship with her mother was an understatement. Her mother often ignored her growing up, but Julia was okay with that. It was better than the alternative when she didn't ignore her.

When Aurora Blake was in a particularly resentful mood, she would say such horrible things to Julia. Never to Bellamy, her one legal child. Never to Octavia, her first mistake but one that she loved nevertheless. Always just to Julia.

Mostly when Bellamy was out so he wouldn't have to witness everything she said to her youngest daughter, but that didn't stop Aurora from being mentally and verbally abusive to the young girl. Her own personal tragedy.

But Julia saw how much Aurora cared about her siblings and that was the only reason why Julia still stuck up for her mother, even to this day. While she didn't particularly like her mother herself, in fact she kind of hated her sometimes, she also hated when others would say or do anything against her mother.

Still seething, Julia didn't notice Bellamy nearby as she stormed out of the dropship. "Hey, hey, hey." Bellamy tried to get her attention as he stepped forward and lightly grabbed her arm.

Her anger not diminishing even a little, Julia ripped her arm away from his grasp. She was still unbelievably hurt and pissed at him for Murphy and for what he said about her and Octavia.

When there was danger or one of them was hurt, Julia was able to look past her anger towards Bellamy. But now the danger of Finn dying was gone and so she no longer had any excuse to not act on the way she felt about him at the moment.

"What do you want, Bellamy?" Julia demanded. Bellamy stepped back in surprise. He thought she had gotten over her anger both during the situation when she was kidnapped and when Finn was dying, but he could see that this was definitely not the case.

"Did you just speak to someone on the Ark? Who?" Bellamy questioned her. "So what if I did? Octavia and I ruined your life, right, so why even pretend to care?" Julia responded and Bellamy sighed regretfully. "Julia, you know I didn't mean that." He told her and Julia didn't respond.

She just looked away from him, her mind going in many directions at once. All her life, Bellamy and Octavia were the only two people that loved and cared for her. Especially Bellamy, so it was hard to stay angry at him and not forgive him. For what he said, at least. She knew she would still never truly forgive him for what he did to Murphy.

After a minute, Julia looked back at him. "Councillor Kane." She revealed. Bellamy's eyes widened slightly as his eyes showed signs of panic that would only be visible to those who knew him best.

"What did he say to you?" Bellamy quickly questioned his little sister, stepping closer to her. "Whoa, Bellamy, relax. He didn't say anything to me about you shooting Jaha, if that's what you're worried about." Julia responded, not understanding his panic.

Her response seemed to reassure Bellamy as the panic faded and he stepped back in relief.

"Good." Bellamy spoke after a moment. He didn't seem like he was going to say anything else or elaborate on his panic, so Julia just shot him another weirded-out look before walking past him.

She decided to go visit Finn and see how he was doing. She stopped outside the tent. "Hey, Finn. Can I come in?" She said and waited for a response. "Of course. Come on in, Jules." Finn's voice spoke from inside the tent.

Ever since she walked into Bellamy's tent with Clarke and Finn earlier in the week and saw girls in Bellamy's bed, Julia made sure to always speak and ask before entering a tent. She wanted to make sure she would never accidentally enter a situation where she would actually see something that would scar her for life.

Julia entered Finn's tent to see him laying down with Raven in the seat next to him. The young girl sat down in the other seat next to Finn and the three of them spent some time together, talking and allowing Raven and Julia to get to know each other a little.

After about half an hour, Julia left the tent. When she exited, she saw Bellamy and Clarke at the entryway to the camp. They had backpacks on and seemed like they were leaving to go somewhere.

Julia and Bellamy locked eyes, but Julia soon broke their gaze. Shaking thoughts of him out of her mind, she decided she would go eat her morning rations, which she hadn't had yet.

She grabbed a pack of nuts before going to the back of the camp. She stopped in front of the tree where she and Murphy spent their last night together before he was banished.

Tears formed in her eyes as she softly placed her hand against the tree, thinking of Murphy. She missed him. She missed him so much. He was her best friend. He was always there for her, but when he needed her the most, she wasn't able to find him.

After a couple moments, Julia sat down against the tree and opened her packet of nuts. She started to eat them and actually quite liked them. What she didn't know, however, is that they caused hallucinations.

Not that long after eating them, Julia heard branches snapping to her right. She glanced over to where she heard the noise, but she didn't see anyone.

"Hello? Anybody there?" Julia called out, wondering if it was another one of the hundred, an animal, or, worst of all, a grounder. What came out from behind a tree was none of those options.

Julia's eyes widened and she sucked in a sharp breath of shock. "Mom?"

Aurora Blake walked closer to her daughter as Julia stood up. "Hello, Julia." Aurora responded.

"No, no, no. You can't be here. You're dead, you died." Julia tried to reason, looking towards the ground as her mind whirled. She didn't know what was happening.

"I didn't just die, I was executed. All thanks to you." Aurora spoke and Julia looked up at her. "I didn't ask to be born."

"And God, I wish you weren't. If it was just Bellamy and Octavia, I wouldn't be dead right now. Bellamy would've known better than to take just Octavia to a dance, but he just had to make his little brat of a sister happy." Aurora said spitefully, glaring at the girl. Julia didn't know what to say, so she didn't say anything.

"You ruined everything. It should be you who's dead right now, not me. I deserve to live. Bellamy and Octavia need their mom, they don't need you. Bellamy's already got a sister, he doesn't need another one. You're worthless to him. You're worthless to everyone. No one needs you. You're just a burden to them." Aurora continued her mental abuse.

Julia placed her hands over her ears and squeezed her eyes shut. "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." She repeated over and over. She wasn't sure if this was a dream or what it was, but she knew that her mom was dead and this kind of abuse should've died with her.

"At least I kept you from being a burden to your father. One person that doesn't have to deal with your crap." Aurora spoke and this caused Julia to open her eyes and uncover her ears.

"What?" Julia breathed out in surprise. Her mother had never mentioned her father before. Whenever she used to ask, her mother would just tell her to go away and stop being such a pest. So she learned to stop asking.

"All you do is take up space and guilt others into feeling protective of you. I feel bad for them, honestly. I was the only one to see you for who you really are. A whiny, manipulative little bitch. Your father would've seen it too. And he would've hated you." Aurora said and Julia couldn't help but have tears run down her cheeks at her mother's words.

All her life she wondered who her father was. What he looked like, what his job was, what he would think of Julia if he knew she existed. It really hurt her to hear these words come out of her mother's mouth and it also made her very angry.

"Shut up! You're dead, I don't have to listen to you anymore!" Julia screamed at her mother and suddenly Finn walked right through her mom's body and she disappeared as if she was a ghost.

Julia fell backwards in shock and then scrambled backwards. What the hell was happening to her? Was she going crazy? Was her mom actually a ghost coming back from the dead for the sole purpose to cause her youngest daughter mental anguish?

"Whoa, whoa. Julia, it's me. It's Finn." Finn spoke, trying to calm the young girl. But Julia couldn't focus on him. Instead her focus shifted to her mom appearing again a little ways away from her.

"Someday everyone you love will see you how I see you and they will leave you. Bellamy, Octavia, even Finn and Murphy." Aurora spoke and Julia broke down crying.

"Why do you do this to me? What did I ever do to you that was so awful that I deserve this?" Julia cried out and Finn looked around but couldn't see who she was talking to. He was very concerned and worried for the girl he saw as a sister.

Julia looked up at her mom through tear-filled eyes. Her mom stared into her daughter's eyes with nothing but loathing in her eyes.

"You existed." Aurora spoke simply.

Julia shut her eyes and brought her legs up to her chest, sobbing. Finn approached her cautiously, not wanting to frighten the girl. But she didn't even notice him approaching.

"I'm here, Jules. You're safe. Shh. Shh." Finn spoke softly as he sat down beside her and drew her into him. She sobbed into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her, stroking the back of her head comfortingly.

"You're okay, Jules. It's okay." He murmured to her, but she just continued sobbing into his chest. So the two just sat like that for a while.
