          Another sleepless night...

It was a terribly exhausting day for Beomgyu and he couldn't help dwelling on the strange events of the recent days. The boy was surrounded by utter darkness, pitch black absorbing all sources of light which were being blocked by the thick curtains widely covering the windows. A weak beam of the huge moon over the murky, endless sky, was illuminating the outside world, painting nature in its pale colour while the black-haired male sat in his room, wrapped up in the cold blanket of midnight time. Faint sounds of calm breaths were the only audible things in the chilly atmosphere, swallowing up the heavy silence which was flying through the thick and heavy air. He was laying on his bed alone, leaning against the headboard with his back while his legs were crossed and his fingers intertwined loosely against his chest. His eyes were looking in the space unconsciously, not even noticing anything in the room not because of the darkness, but because he was so absorbed in the unceasing throng of thoughts that he could barely see anything around him.

So much happened in his life only in two days and he was feeling like things would never be the same anymore, something had changed in his heart, and he knew this change would stay always there no matter how hard he would try to get rid of it.

Choi Yeonjun... he was really making him feel things and the disaster was that he couldn't name those eerie sensations which were fretting his nerves covertly, he couldn't even notice his breaths getting heavy every now and then. They were causing flashes of pain to cross his head, but his mind wouldn't just stop, it continued going into places without his consent as a huge avalanche of ideas kept striking him. He would try to shake his thoughts off and think about the amount of money he owned now instead. When he returned home he found the rest of the money put in an envelope at his door, so now he could boldly say that he was rich and he could plan what he wanted to do with it, but then Yeonjun would appear in his mind again out of nowhere, at least, he was the reason why Beomgyu got rich so suddenly, in just a day. It was natural that thinking about the money would prompt his name to arise in his mind over and over again. At least, he was glad that he managed to release himself from the older's distressing house eventually, but he didn't turn out to be lucky enough to have left that place without causing unnecessary drama.

"Time machine?", Beomgyu asked in disbelief, his eyes narrowed unconsciously as he couldn't believe his own ears. Was anything like that even possible? It more sounded like a thing of science fiction than reality.

Yeonjun did everything to overpower his nagging feelings and turned back to him, his arms folded against his chest as he stared at the boy nonchalantly, but Beomgyu still could notice the hints of loneliness and gloom screaming from them, making them shine in a wistful, but beautiful colour.

The younger's mind got occupied by his complete beauty, even under those bruises, he was still ethereal and Beomgyu even thought a couple of times that he was an angel sent from heaven only if his actions weren't speaking the opposite, "Sounds mindblowing, doesn't it?", Yeonjun asked ironically, a faint chuckle escaping his lips as he couldn't even notice the other's enchanted eyes adoring him subconsciously and scanning every spot on his face carefully, but he got snapped back to reality as soon as the older's deep voice reached his ears and he cleared his throat awkwardly.

Yeonjun moved off the gleaming window and took a couple of steps towards him, which went unnoticed by Beomgyu since he was busy thinking about his words now. He wanted to believe that what Yeonjun was saying about the time machine was much more interesting than his face. He couldn't even notice when he bowed his head as some uneasy feeling nibbled at his heart and caused hot sweat to form on his palms, his gaze falling upon the smooth floor under him, "I'm only saying this to you, because you're somehow related to the murder of my family and I want to know why or how", Yeonjun stated in a serious tone, sharpness settling in his orbs as horrifying memories of his parents dead, bloody bodies flashed his mind like a lightning, which would always be followed by the deafening thunderstorm, but he managed to keep his composure now. He just stared at the boy with an intense, piercing gaze and Beomgyu almost squirmed in discomfort since he could feel the older's orbs drilling holes into his skull.

The younger boy furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to ignore Yeonjun's glare and different thoughts flooded over his mind. His thoughtful and interested eyes returned to the yellow-haired boy again, his lips moving inanely to find the proper words and utter them in a confused tone, "O-okay, but is that possible?", he asked with a huge frustration as his mind focused on the mentioned stuff this time, "I-I mean the time machine"

"You can create it if you use the correct formulas", Yeonjun replied indifferently, his eyes rigorously observing the other's reactions and confusion to try and detect a lie if Beomgyu told one. Maybe the boy looked completely innocent and wasn't causing any doubts in him, but Yeonjun still couldn't trust him so easily. At least, he was still a stranger to him.

He noticed excellently how hints of interest were playing on the younger's face, a pure puzzlement visible in his light brown eyes, which was exposing nothing, but his sincerity over again, "And did they know those formulas?", he asked curiously, "Why was it the cause of your parents' murder?"

Yeonjun quickly unfolded his arms and rolled his eyes slightly, knowing it wasn't time for his stories now, "It's a long story. No more questions from you. Now come downstairs I want us to discuss some things with the other members"

The older boy went straight towards the door with slow steps since he didn't want to hurt himself with harsh and rapid movements, feeling little spasms of pain spreading throughout his whole body in the process. He wrapped his thin fingers around the handle and pulled it down, cracking the door wide open, but the boy stopped when he noticed the other male rooted to his place, watching him with tense eyes, "Are you deaf?"

Beomgyu swallowed nervously and mustered up some courage to announce boldly, "I don't want to stay here and discuss anything with you any longer", he stated firmly, even though deep down he was a bit afraid since they were four and he was only one, they could easily defeat him if they wanted to. Maybe Yeonjun was breathtakingly beautiful, but it didn't mean that Beomgyu wanted to stay with him, because he never received anything, but cold glares from him, which was annoying the hell out of the younger boy, "I want to go home"

Yeonjun sighed as he turned his body towards the boy and threw a sharp glare at him, "I won't bite, and neither will they. I need to make some things clear"

"I don't care. I have nothing to do with you anymore. I saved you and got my money. I don't care about anything else"

The younger boy saw how the other male closed his eyes for a couple of seconds, definitely trying to calm his agitated nerves and Beomgyu's body stiffened as soon as he marched towards him with steady steps, his eyes looking at him not so sternly. Beomgyu gulped down heavily once more, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down as Yeonjun stood in front of him, and his eyes turned icy at once. He grabbed the younger's collar roughly, causing him to flinch and yelp from suddenness while Yeonjun pierced through his nervous eyes, throwing sparkles from them.

"I'm not a toy you can just benefit from", he gritted his teeth, feeling too offended by the younger's words.

Beomgyu didn't know when this great flow of courage surged into him, but he firmly grabbed the older's wrist and harshly pushed his hand away from his body, and Yeonjun looked at him with surprised eyes since he didn't expect so bold movement from him. Yeah, maybe Beomgyu was a little scared of him and his friends, but there was no way he was letting anyone oppress him like that any longer.

"Exactly because of this bitchy attitude of yours, we're already done"

And after these words, he burnt holes in the older's eyes once more and then just stormed out of the room, everyone's eyes following him in surprise as he left the house, but Yeonjun stayed in his room, his mind sank into the sea of thoughts and he didn't even notice a hint of smirk which flashed his lips all of a sudden, feeling somewhat content because of the younger's courage and toughness.

That was how things ended between them and Beomgyu never wanted to see the older or any of his friends ever again. He was surprised at how Yeonjun's mood could change so fast, something unpredictable was always expectable from him. No wonder he was like that since he had to go through terrible things in life and his youth and all his dreams got easily snatched out of his hold because of a single incident, and even though Beomgyu didn't really want to face his anger anymore, he was still dying to know everything in details about him, because he was feeling a kind of connection with him he had never felt with anyone else before.

Besides one person only ... and it was his father.

"I'm not cheating on anyone, I'm only trying to keep things as they always have been"

The memory of those words of the mysterious man made Beomgyu's heart race suddenly since one nauseating idea appeared in his mind.

If creating the time machine was possible, then what if it was already created and that man was from the future? Because he knew everything clearly and correctly and seemed quite strange to be anyone normal. However, Beomgyu quickly shook off his own thoughts and chuckled since it seemed ridiculously impossible to him. There was no way something like that was possible. That mysterious man was probably some psycho who was just benefiting from that case exactly like Beomgyu, but he was still confused as to why he brought up his father that day, what did he have to do with Yeonjun and why could saving that boy be important to him when he was sure that San had never even met the boy?

"Fuck!", Beomgyu swore as he ran his palms over his face in frustration and jumped up from his bed, knowing laying there was only making his head hurt worse, so he left the room and entered the kitchen instead to make himself a cup of coffee and soothe his nerves a bit.

There were tiny raindrops slamming against the ground outside, and it was creating a very peaceful atmosphere for the black-haired male who sat at the window and looked outside. He never knew why his father had chosen to live in that isolated place, in nature instead of the city where he would feel more alive than there, but Beomgyu had already fallen in love with that place enough to ever leave it and move to another one. It was the only place which had kept the memories about his father, how his kind heart full of love would always fill it with more warmth than the sun. And he didn't even need to remember his appearance to love him infinitely, his affection, which would never be wiped out of his memory, was enough to make him love his father more than himself, but now he was feeling somehow disappointed. He didn't like to think about it, but finally, it had become more than obvious that his father had always kept important things hidden from him and Beomgyu didn't even know why. He knew his father was a very kind person and wouldn't even hurt a fly, but now he was afraid that he had been involved in bad things, because, otherwise, there was no way everything about him would be so mysterious and secretive.

The gloomy boy took a sip from his coffee and darted his wistful eyes outside again, seeing the raindrops falling down through his window, filling him with comforting sensations as distressing thoughts slowly started to leave his mind. And then he started thinking about his money and the items he wanted to buy with it. The first thing which popped up into his mind was the car because he had always wanted to have one, but never had enough money for acquiring it. And now it wasn't impossible anymore, he had every possibility to make his dream come-

That was when something hit his mind hard, causing his eyes to grow wide in a matter of seconds as the stream of exciting memories flooded his mind.

The car, he left in the city when he went to the factory to save Yeonjun, was supposed to be still there and he could easily find out who the owner was. It would definitely be easier for him to find that mysterious man afterwards and maybe he would manage to make him spill everything if he used a bit of his strength. Beomgyu was too determined to find all the secrets his father had hidden from him and there was no way anything was stopping him from reaching this goal.

"Shit!", he cursed under his breath as he put the cup on the table aggressively and leapt up from his seat. He grabbed the key to his house urgently before putting on the coat and storming outside, his hands tucking in the pockets of his jacket to remain protected from the cold weather outside.
