Summary: Everyone thinks Shoto is a spoiled brat since they know he got into U.A through recommendations and is the son of Endeavour so they often call him mean names and bully him which Shoto doesn't mind since he has a very high pain tolerance and shut out all pain and emotions so he was mainly used as a punching bag (since he grew up with Kanao since he tried to run away from his family when he was 6 and Shoto is one and a half years older then Kanao so when he was sold he was around the age of 7 or 8 and Kanao was 6 or 7) and a tool for killing and fighting. "Okay class, we have a new assignment that is quite different. So for this assignment all of you will learn about each other's home life and I will pick the pairs. Kirishima and Bakugou, Kaminari and Mineta, Uraraka and Asui, Sato and Kota, Jiro and Yaoyorozu, Shoji and Ojiro, Hagakura and Ashido, Aoyama and Iida, Sero and Tokoyami, and finally Midoriya and Todoroki" Aizawa instructed and went to sleep in his normal yellow sleeping bag. "Deku I feel bad you have to be paired up with the spoiled brat" Bakugou said laughing "oh and the project means you kids will have to live in each other's houses for a week" Aizawa said going to sleep for real this time.
After school
"Ugh, I'm so unlucky out of everyone I had to be paired up with you" Izuku said frustrated and Shoto was taking out a sapphire brooch (similar to the Violet Evergarden brooch but blue) and putting his around his neck. "You live in an apartment building?" Shoto asked when they arrived to the Midoriya apartment "yeah have a problem with it?" Izuku said crossing his arms and knocked on his apartment door "no, I never been in a apartment before" Shoto said curious from the things in the hallway "yeah your used to mansions and money don't think we can afford any special food or clothing" Izuku said as his mother opened the door. "Izuku! I haven't seen you since you left to the dorms" Inko said hugging her son "sorry mom but for the week I have to do a project teaching Endeavours son about my home life" Izuku said hugging back his mother who let go realizing that Shoto is here "oh hello there I did not see you there I'm sorry, anyways I'm Inko Midoriya Izuku's mother" Inko introduced herself. "Hello Mrs. Midoriya, I am Shoto Todoroki" Shoto introduced himself bowing to the older female "oh no need to be formal just call me Inko" Inko said holding her hand out for him to shake her hand "apologies Inko-sama" Shoto said shaking her hand "just Inko is fine" Inko said allowing Shoto to enter her home "of course Inko-san" Shoto said "we will have to work on that" Inko told herself. "Anyways I made salmon daikon for dinner but I wasn't expecting visitors so give me a while to make more food, meanwhile make yourself at home" Inko said going to the kitchen to make more food. "Your home is very interesting in fact it looks cleaner then my friends home" Shoto complimented "oh thank you so much Shoto" Inko said as Izuku helped his mother cook food "ow I think I cut my finger" Izuku said as some blood came out of his finger "OH IZUKU THAT IS A LOT OF BLOOD" Inko panicked and looked everywhere to find bandages.
"Here, the bleeding should be stopped a bit but after 15 minutes you will have to change it for the next 3 hours in order for the bleeding to stop" Shoto said wrapping some bandages around Izuku's pointer finger "oh thank you Shoto" Izuku said getting Inko's attention and was relieved that someone had bandages on them. "No problem Midoriya also you cut the daikon to large it should be a centimetre smaller in order it will be bite sized" Shoto said using a different knife to cut Izuku's cut daikon smaller and washed Izuku's knife which is exposed to Izuku's blood. "Izuku you do sometimes make food a little big sometimes" Inko admitted "oh sorry" Izuku said feeling sad "Midoriya not every time you cut food into bite sized chunks but you will learn how to make it able to fit into someone's mouth it takes a long time" Shoto said cutting up more daikon faster. "Oh Shoto sweetie your going to fast" Inko said worried as she tried to continue cutting daikon but Shoto went faster and faster "TODOROKI YOUR GOING TOO FAST" Izuku yelled making Shoto stop "sorry if I had worried both of you I always do this worrying my friend who loves eating simmered salmon with daikon" Shoto admitted who went a little slower "so you make salmon daikon for your friend?" Inko asked "yes his favourite food" Shoto said showing Inko his chopped daikon "oh really? And your daikon looks good put it in the pan" Inko instructed as Izuku felt jealous that Shoto was hanging out with his mom almost right away.
"Izuku dinner is ready" Inko tole her son "coming mom" Izuku said as he went into the bathroom to wash his hands and was surprised when the dinner table was filled with delicious food. "Wow you guys went all out tonight" Izuku said "I brought my friends cook book since she had another copy and your mom wanted to try to make them since they sound good" Shoto explained pulling out plates and silverware. The three sat around the table eating except one "Shoto sweetheart you should eat" Inko said eating a piece of meat then Shoto pulled out a coin and flipped it and it turned out as tails then Shoto started eating. "Hey Todoroki I'm curious why did you flip a coin before eating?" Izuku asked "I'm used to be ordered around so I never made a decision by myself but my friend told me to flip a coin to make them even just simple decisions I will flip the coin like how my friends younger sister also can't simple decisions" Shoto explained as he put a piece of fish in his mouth. "I've never met anyone who can't make simple decisions before" Izuku admitted "I know it's weird, that's why I am distant most of the time after someone asked me to hang out with them I flip my coin and it always land on no" Shoto explained then holding his head. "Shoto are you okay?" Inko asked noticing Shoto was holding his head like he was in pain "I'm fine it's normal for me just give me a minute" Shoto said as Izuku thought he was doing it for attention but then he noticed how his brooch changed colour from blue to green and then Shoto fell off the chair and then his eyes turned red eyes and then he screamed in pain "MUZAN GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD I TOLD YOU TO leave along" Shoto yelled as he fell unconscious. "OH MY GOODNESS IZUKU GET HIM TO THE COUCH" Inko yelled as she got some bandages because Shoto hit his head on the corner of the table and his head is bleeding "Todoroki what is your life even like?" Izuku asked the unconscious male as his brooch went back to normal and Inko wrapped his head panicking.
30 minutes later
"What happened?" Shoto asked groggily and the two Midoriya's explained what happened as Shoto took off the bandage off his head "oh I see just another attack to take over my mind nothing too serious" Shoto explained as he went back to the kitchen and burned wisteria incense. "Um what are you doing?" Inko asked "burning wisteria incense it can ward off demons at night since they can't stand wisteria plus it will be safer to sleep at night" Shoto explained "I don't understand what you just said but I'm going to act like I will goodnight mom" Izuku said hugging his mother and went to bed "oh and Shoto feel free to sleep in Izuku's room" Inko said and received the most angrily glare from Izuku ever but she did not notice and Izuku just continued walking to his room.
An hour later
Izuku and Shoto are both wide awake but Shoto didn't know Izuku was awake so he got up and Izuku stayed quite so Shoto doesn't think he is being suspicious. "Oyakata-sama I am paired up with one of my classmates and we are supposed to learn about our home life but how do I tell him the truth?" Shoto asked as a picture of a man showed up. "Maybe it's time for one of your classmates to know the truth" Oyakata-sama said "b-but you strictly told me to not tell anyone and besides he is one of the people who believes I am a spoiled brat but I don't know who my real family is I can't remember who their names or faces is" Shoto said as he put down the pendent and sounded like he is going to cry. "I see, it will be okay child I will figure out a plan and I will tell you it when my plan is ready" Oyakata-sama said and the figure disappeared and Izuku witnessed all of it and then Shoto picked up the brooch but did not put it on in fact he held it close to his heart and silently cried which made Izuku regret everything he did to Shoto from the beginning of the year. After around 5 minutes Shoto still cried and Izuku felt way too bad so he got up "Todoroki?" Izuku said making Shoto flinch and he slowly turned his head facing Izuku and he fell off the bed "ah! I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T KILL ME FOR SHOWING WEAKNESS" Shoto begged as he put up his arms in front of his face expecting a beating but felt a pair of warm arms around his body. "It's okay I'm not going to kill you let it all out" Izuku said stroking his head "w-why aren't you beating me up or trying to drown me I should've been expected to be dead by morning why are you telling me this I want to stop but human emotions are so hard for me to control" Shoto said as more tears came out of his eyes. "So? Your human and humans have emotions" Izuku told him which made Shoto shocked "Midoriya... thank you I never received this much kindness before. People just tell me to stop crying in fact they never treated me like a normal human but just an item that can't feel anything so I shut all emotions and pain from my body but at night I can't hold it in anymore so I don't sleep but cry all night" Shoto admitted them realizing what he just said and covering his mouth and Izuku looked at the heterochromia male who backed away from the greenette male who was shocked at his life. "I'm sorry Todoroki for how I treated you, I thought you were just a spoiled brat who uses money just to show off on all the poor people" Izuku admitted "what? That is why everyone hates me? I thought it was because I didn't act like a normal person" Shoto said as he wiped his tears and the two males sat on the bed.
"So we went off the wrong page but I want to get to know you better so can you tell me your backstory?" Izuku asked Shoto who looked at him and Izuku noticed Shoto's eyes always looked broken with no sparkle but now Shoto had a sparkle. "I only remember from age 6 and up but I'm going to try to tell you my life. So when I was 6 I remember a man leaving me in a mountain and I kept running admiring the sky from night to the next evening and I ran into a very poor village and I met a man and some other adults and I tried to ask them for directions but instead they beat me and I lost all memories of my biological family. I was treated like all the other kids but one of the kids I met she didn't have a name but her eyes are like an amazing shade of pink we became friends and I gave her a name of Kanao Tsuyuri we treated each other as brothers and sisters but the unfortunate part is her real siblings was caught crying and they got tortured to death the next day we found them dead so everyday around 5 to 10 innocent little kids are found dead and they got killed by their own parents so me and Kanao prayed so one day we will be free. I got sold a few months later for a total of 1500 yen and my teacher Sakonji Urokodaki saved me if he didn't save me I would be dead because if we don't get sold by nightfall we get killed by the adults from the village not to mention the kids don't eat or sleep we get abused and do adult things we only get fed once a month which I can live without food for a long time. Back to Urokadaki I was an orphan and the only thing the villagers allowed me to keep was this brooch which belonged to my real older brother that's all I know about my real family, Makomo, Sabito, and Giyuu are all 13 year olds they are all older then me by 5 years so when I turned 8 I got to do some training to be a demon slayer. After 2 years of training we got sent to the final test and we have to survive 7 days on a mountain killing demons but Sabito and Makomo they defeated almost all the demons on that mountain but one demon the damn hand demon killed them and that's when I found out the power of my brooch and it protected us and Giyuu passed out so I carried him and I killed 4 demons I was very weak and Giyuu didn't defeat a single demon. Around 2 months after I picked up a sword I got stronger every day and I went face to face with lower 4 a stronger demon then other demons and I defeated him making me chosen to be the highest rank of the demon slayer corps and not to mention I just turned 11 so I was the youngest pillar who then I used to do water breathing and now ice breathing I was picked on a lot for being so young then when I was on a mission with Kanae and Shinobu we met Kanao who was about to get sole so I told the two butterfly sisters to save Kanao and give her the name of Kanao Tsuyuri and I was sent to a different village for assistance and Kanao was saved but a few weeks later Kanae was killed. And I was a swordsman since I was a child risking my life to save other lives but I take responsibility for the lives who were taken before I arrived it makes me so sad seeing other people cry over the fact they lost their loved one after I turned 14 I got reunited with Giyuu and ever since I treated all the demon slayers as my family as the second youngest pillar" Shoto explained his whole backstory and Izuku was crying from his sad origin. "I'm so sorry Todo- Shoto, I'm sorry Shoto you had to go through that much when you are a child?" Izuku said hugging the other male "I'm fine now my friends are fun, and the best thing I ever wanted but I still want to know who my biological family is so I'm hoping on a mission I will be reunited with my family it's all I want to know" Shoto said and then Izuku held his hands on Shoto's face cupping it "Midoriya?" Shoto got cut off by Izuku kissing him and he kissed back. Izuku broke the kiss "sorry I should've asked for permission but I actually had a crush on you since the sports festival and wanted to do that to you for a long time" Izuku said "so you had a crush on me for that long?" Shoto asked blushing "your blushing you know" Izuku said chuckling a bit "I guess I had butterflies in my stomach and my heart races every time I see you" Shoto admitted "it's called love I guess you never had romantic love before, so will you accept my feeling for you?" Izuku asked "I guess" Shoto said and he jumped on Izuku "oh my god thank you Shoto" Izuku said allowing the smaller male laugh a bit in his ear and then realized it was morning "we became not even friends to lovers in one night" Shoto said giving a small laugh "your cute when you laugh, don't worry it's completely fine showing your true nature around me and my mom we won't judge since we are all human" Izuku said giving his new lover a kiss on the forehead.
"Good morning you two" Inko greeted "hey mom" Izuku said "good morning Inko-san" Shoto said "okay that's it call me auntie" Inko said almost cutting her finger but Shoto got a sword preventing Inko cutting his finger which freaked the fuck out of the two. "Holy guacamole where did you get a freaking sword" Izuku said calming down "hey, I'm a swordsman why wouldn't I have a sword it's always on me you guys just can't see it" Shoto said putting his sword back "anyways thank you Shoto but please don't play with swords indoors" Inko said "okay... auntie" Shoto said making Inko happy. "Oh, Izuku and Shoto Mitsuki and Katsuki are coming over along with one other friend of mine and Katsuki is bring a friend over" Inko told them as the door had a knock and Shoto answered "INKO! We're here" Mitsuki said running over to her friend and Katsuki and Eijiro went over to the couch and a women with white hair and grey eyes entered the room with two other people one was a male with gray eyes and the other was a girl with turquoise eyes with white hair and red streaks looked the the half and half male in shock. "Rei! It's good to see you again" Inko greeted "y-yeah thank you for inviting us Inko and if you don't mind I brought my daughter and son" Rei told them "h-hey I'm Natsou and my older sister Fuyumi" Natsou said. "Shoto.... your alive" Fuyumi blurted out making the heterochromia male confused "do I know you guys?" Shoto asked "you know what screw it I miss my little brother" Natsou said hugging Shoto who was surprised along with everyone else and the two girls joined in. "I don't understand... why did you guys abandoned me" Shoto said in shock as he held on tightly to the Sapphire brooch "WHAT?! ENJI ABANDONED YOU?!" Rei screamed and she was very pissed which woke up everyone completely "mom please calm down it's 10 in the morning" Fuyumi said gripping her hands on Shoto "I'm sorry Fuyumi but Enji has taken it too far first abusing our whole family, locking me up in a fucking mental hospital, then killed one of my kids, and now he abandoned my youngest son?!" Rei said going to the kitchen to boil son water and she boiled it very hot. "Hey can you guys get off me now?" Shoto said try to pry the two off him but failed "oi icyhot you got abandoned by your own family? Hah! They must really hate you" Katsuki said laughing and the Todoroki's gave him the most angrily glare ever "KATSUKI APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW" Mitsuki scolded "Kacchan can you apologize to Todoroki-kun?" Izuku asked "Hah? Midoriya all of 1-A knows he is a spoiled brat" Kirishima said getting off of Bakugou "yeah but I know the truth now and I'm making it up to him" Izuku argued and the three high schoolers, Todoroki siblings, and parents are having a large argument. "SHUT THE FUCK EVERYONE NOW" Shoto snapped as his eyes and brooch turned ruby red "I don't need to hear arguing in the morning it makes me very angry and you don't won't like me happy" Shoto warned but everyone continued arguing ignoring Shoto only Izuku, Inko, Fuyumi, and Natsou listened then Shoto's eyes turned pitch black "I Told you to shut the fuck up but did you listen? No" Shoto finally snapped and his nails and teeth turned sharp like blades "holy shit half n half bastard what happened to you" Bakugou said activating his quirk on Shoto but his burns regenerated "oh Midoriya I never told you this last night but I'm half demon but the sun isn't here so I can't die yet and I have permission to kill a human being when I snap which is very rare. But I can't be controlled when in angry" Shoto said and blood started to come out of his arms up to his finger and threads started to cut Katsuki and Eijiro hardened his skin but the threads started to cut through him but then the apartment door got kicked down and a male with black hair and blue eyes, a girl with black to purple hair and purple eyes, and a small boy with long black hair and turquoise tips with turquoise eyes ran into the apartment saw in horror the male with pitch black eyes, his red hair turned black nails sharp enough to kill anyone and teeth ready to devour someone. "Shoto-kun please control your anger" the Blue eyed male said and the three pulled out swords of different colours "please we don't want to hurt you" the girl said and Shoto looked at the three and his wad started to throb a lot and he screamed in pain as Katsuki and Kirishima stopped having threads in their bodies the the half haired male fell to the ground as his body went back to normal and the brooch turned blue again "phew he controlled his anger let's take him back home" the small male said as the three put away their swords and the tallest male picked up Shoto "wait please don't take away our little brother again" Fuyumi begged "oh your his real family? Don't worry he will be fine but he will have to be under surveillance for the rest of the week to make sure we won't do this again but no one is dead yet and you will have a chance to see him again we promise" the blue eyes male said as the three jumped off the balcony and ran away from the building and head towards the butterfly mansion.
3 weeks later
After three weeks of the incident both Bakugou and Kirishima had permanent scars on their arms from the threads Shoto did to them and since then Shoto never returned to school and 1-A never thought the day would come when they missed the heterochromia male especially Izuku he missed his new lover a lot. Aizawa was in the middle of teaching his class when all of a sudden a demon broke down the door and started to try and attack the students they all fired multiple attacks but it did nothing. A stream of ice came in the classroom and cut off the head which made lots of the students scream and the person who killed the demon raised the head to the sun and it turned to ash. "Sorry about that I couldn't let that demon kill you guys" the figure said and they had a hood and cloak on then they took it off revealing a half and half male with heterochromia eyes "TODOROKI?!" The class yelled "hey everyone how long has it been? 3 weeks?" Shoto said and he changed a lot now he is more cheerful and kind "well you changed a lot" Aizawa said "yeah I travelled around Japan 13 times" Shoto said as he cleaned the bloody sword and collected the blood then a cat appeared. "There you go Chachamaru (Yushiro's cat) take it back to Yushiro and Tamayo, one more step for a cure" Shoto said as he pet the cat and then the cat disappeared as soon as it meowed "where did that cat go?" Denki asked "probably left to a hidden house in Tokyo" Shoto said. "How does a cat just disappear?" Kirishima asked "think about it this world has quirks and principal Nezu is an animal with a quirk" Shoto said then everyone finally used their heads and know what he meant "now I must leave now" Shoto said as he headed towards the door but then Aizawa used his capture weapon to stop Shoto. "Todoroki please reconsider to leave" Aizawa said "I would like to but I know what my place is and you guys should too" Shoto said frowning and cut the scarf in pieces and freed himself "Todoroki can you tell them what you told me that night" Midoriya asked "what?" Shoto asked "what you told me when I saw your brooch glow" Midoriya said "you actually saw it even the master?" Shoto said completely shocked since Oyakata-sama's identity has always been a secret "your past we all should know the truth" Midoriya asked "very well take a seat it will take a while" Shoto said.
"So I actually don't remember my biological family" Shoto started which shocked everyone but Izuku "NO WAY REALLY?!" Uraraka yelled "yeah I think I was running for a whole day without getting tired but I was only 6 so I don't remember. I got to a very poor and dirty village and I tried asking one of the adults but instead I got beaten up and I got treated like the other kids and I was only able to keep my brooch since I was told it belonged to my oldest biological brother" Shoto said taking the brooch and it turned bright blue. For the rest of the afternoon he told everyone his life and everyone regretted how they treated Shoto and apologized but he said he already forgave them long time ago.
