Mia's POV
Everybody was already in the lobby to hear the principal's announcement. She said that it was a bad news.
The principal enters the room and says, "Goodmorning again everyone."
"Goodmorning!" everybody replied.
"Today we will lose some of you but don't worry. Because those who can survive this day will have a prize."
"What's the event? A GAIA Royale?" I asked.
"No.... An Academy Battle!"
Everybody screamed for their excitement.
"What's an Academy battle?" I asked.
"It's the battle between two Academies. There are three levels in this battle. The Regionals, Nationals, and Internationals. This is self explanatory so I don't need to explain further."
Everybody was now getting ready for the "Academy Battle". I myself was excited too. The problem is, I'm in the green orb stage. And my weapon, is still not different, which is good.
"Mia." I heard a familiar voice from the door.
"Oh hi Jenna." I didn't really want to see her. After all the hard work I've done to become an elite. She became the elite.
"Are you ready for the Academy Battle?" she asked.
I wanted to answer sarcastically but the only word I could say was, "Yes."
Then Jenna left while leaving a box in front of my door. I went closer to the box and took it. I opened it and saw a crystal ball. What's this ball all about?
I threw it to my bed and continued on preparing myself for the battle.
I went to the lobby and saw everybody including Melissa. She noticed me and so she walked to me.
She started to whisper something, "I wish you'll die."
Then she left and rode the vehicle we are going to ride. The vehicle was more of a bus or something. I sat on one of the seats and I found out that I was seating next to that vampire girl yesterday.
Less than a blink of an eye, the bus was transported to a really big arena. Times two of the arena at school. This is where the Academy battles happen.

Everybody was already in the arena, including those who are from other schools. Some students had pretty cool uniforms and some had these armor like costumes on.
We were led to our rooms and as I got to my room, I was mesmerized by how huge the room is. It was perfectly painted and it had a lot of compartments. I know I'm rich but this is amazing. It's even better than that stupid room at that ship I rode before.
I jumped off to my bed and it was relaxing. I felt my wounds from before, curing. I closed my eyes and realized that I was already asleep.

"Mia!Mia!" somebody shouted from my door.
I opened my eyes and saw that girl with the vampire bracelet. She ran and so I got up from my bed and followed her.But when I got out from my room, I didn't see her anymore. Where could she be?
I was half way back to my bed but I noticed that a lot of students were also running. I got out from my room again and ran to where the other students were going.
The students were going to the arena. But why? The battle is until tomorrow morning. Then I noticed that there was a huge screen above the arena. It was showing two faces of students from different schools.
"Good evening everyone! Sorry for the on the spot announcement but we would like to say that, the Academy Battle will be starting... Today!" the host informed.
I looked everywhere and saw that everybody was cheering and happy. These people are sadists. They like to kill others.
"Now we are going to randomly pick two schools who will battle first. After that, we are going to pair each student with another student from the other school so they will know who they will be battling with. The school with more wins will forward to the next stage."
The screen from above was showing two logos from two schools. It was Love Academy and Dark and Light Academy.
"Who will be G.A.I.A Academy's opponent?" I wondered.

"The first battle from the love, dark and light academy is about to start. The first pair will be," The screen started to show random students from both school until it stopped."Alice Redwood from Love Academy and March Fidelfi from Dark and Light Academy."
Both players were already in the arena. Alice was beautiful. She had these freckles that actually complements her face. Her ginger hair was straight down. I can't wait to see her battle. On the other hand, March was a bit hideous. With all the dream catchers that she was wearing, she kinda looked like a witch.
"Let the battle begin!" the host shouted.
"3! 2! 1! Fight!"
"May the darkness help me in this task," March chanted."Weapon engage!" Her dream catchers became huge. I don't know what it can do but I, we, will know what it is later.
Alice smiled and said, "Love!"
A magic circle started to glow from the ground then a bow popped up from the ground. It didn't have any arrows so it might be a magic bow that has unlimited arrows. Alice took the bow and positioned herself to start shooting at March. March also positioned herself to dodge. She knows that Alice was gonna shoot at her, obviously.
Alice started to shoot but then I noticed something was wrong about her aim. Her arrow was too far away from March. But why? Then I saw March point at the arrow that was about to hit a wall from the arena. Her dream catchers moved and blocked the arrow from reaching the wall.
"Why did she defend the attack?" I asked myself.
"You don't know Alice's weapon do you?" Jenna butted in.
"It's a bow, Jenna, I can see that!"
"It's not just a bow Mia. It's arrows have different powers and its based on Alice's thoughts. If I'm not wrong that arrow has a freeze attribute and if hits the wall, time will freeze."
"So that's why March blocked it. But It hit March's dream catcher. Why didn't the arrow work?"
"I don't know why. This is my first time seeing her."
"Why do you know so much Jenna?"
"I'm an elite Mia. I know a lot of stuff."
I looked back at the arena and heard March say something, "Nightmare clash!"
Her dream catchers changed color. From rainbow color to dark black. What could this skill be?
Alice started to shoot again but even faster this time. She looks nervous. Why? Is Nightmare Clash a strong skill?
In a few seconds Alice fainted and fell to the ground... What happened? Did March cheat? I kept on thinking about what happened.
"Winner for this battle is... March Fidelfi! That is one point for the Dark and Light Academy." the host announced.
"Yeah!" Dark and Light academy students cheered.
"Everybody please calm down. We are about to choose the next pair to battle."
"Meg Johnson from Love Academy and Mary Jackson from Dark and Light Academy."
"3! 2! 1! Fight!"
