I'm Ellie. Welcome to my Wattpad!
You've probably seen me around. I've been here for a few years, on three different accounts (I kept forgetting my password😭) but I've mainly just been floating around reading fan fictions, leaving the occasional comment. Now, I'm finally here writing!
Writing and reading has always been a passion of mine. I could read and speak at 11 months old and write my name at 2. Since then, my passion for literature has blossomed, and I've decided to become a Wattpad author. I'd love to see my name in a bookshop one day, but it's a big dream!
Since my diagnosis of Irlen Syndrome (A neurological disorder which affects the brain's ability to process visual information) I've struggled to read and write. It still remains a huge passion, but the diagnosis changed my life. I'm still a stickler for perfect grammar though! :P
Anyway, I'm here to read and write now. But not the cringey love stories, (not that they're not amazing, just not my thing :p) I'm writing both fan fictions and original stories. I have a vivid imagination and tend to act out story ideas in my mind. I can see characters clearly and simply end up having to write it down. From all the stories currently in the works, I can visualise the scenes as a movie plot as I proof-read. I think that's a good thing for someone who struggles like me.
I tend to try and write a book all at once and then begin to publish them, or begin publishing when I'm very close to finishing, as I know I'd struggle to update regularly due to college (UGH!), and I know slow updates can put people off. So please, bear with me! There's loads of half/nearly finished books in my drafts, they'll be up soon! I'm currently writing about 3 books at once, but my bio will always tell you which book is the one I'm most invested in/the one to be out first!
To all the budding writers or Wattpad veterans, I just want to say, thank you for making this community so welcoming and cozy, even if some of the stuff you write can be pretty nastily weird!😅
