CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
*PREVIOUSLY*
"I want the truth right now or else I'll just get over with you right now."
"Truth about what?"
"About Liz."
"What about the trash?"
"Don't you ever call her that again...."
"Or else what?!"
"You know what...."
*ZAYN'S P.O.V*
"You know what....Go to hell and find and another date for your party, count me out."
I retorted and gained my composure to prevent myself from hitting her.
"So you're gonna pick that tra..."
"Don't you dare call her that."
I warned her as she was about to insult Liz.
"So you're going take her as your new date?"
She asked sarcastically.
"No cos I know she'll never accept me."
I replied still trying to hold back my anger.
"That's right, you're both worthless but it seems she has more sanity that you do. You will never find someone to love you, who will love an average hag like you, you don't even know how to treat your date, then how will you treat a girlfriend? Anyway you'll never get one and trust me, you'll regret not going out with me."
She said bitterly with full hatred in her voice.
"Then why are you falling for what you call a hag?"
I asked with a sly grin and that earned me a hard slap across my face before she walked away. I felt like exploding, I couldn't contain the anger in me anymore so I quickly left for home.
*ELIZABETH'S P.O.V*
Finally I was out of the school clinic, Daisy came out with our bag-packs and handed mine over to me. We were walking through the hallway talking about tonight's party and other irrelevant things as I kept on wondering who saved me in the restroom earlier today until someone roughly bumped into me. None other than Lina.
"Watch were you're going,will you?"
I spat harshly. I suddenly felt anger rush through my veins. Yeah I had every right to be angry, I mean, she almost killed me.
"It's all your fault Elizabeth, your fault!"
She retorted sticking out her right index finger at my face. I got a little bit confused but I replied.
"Yeah, my fault that I stayed alive or I recovered faster than expected?"
"Who cares? It's your fault that Zayn isn't going out with me for my party tonight, your fault that he cancelled his date with me. It's all your fault you whore."
She spat, which earned her a hard slap across her face from me.
"I didn't punch you cos I want you to have you face at your party tonight but don't you ever call me a whore even in your weirdest dreams. A whore like you should never try that. Why will you think that I 'll go out with a guy whom I hate? I hate Zayn so much!"
I said as I shoved her aside and walked away along with Daisy.
I felt someone else was watching me as we walked out of the school and guilt washed through me. I just shrugged it off as we walked away. But a annoying question which seemed very important to me suddenly popped into my brain. Do I love Zayn?
*ZAYN'S P.O.V*
I slammed the door closed behind me as soon as I entered my room. I heard Jake and Lumina knocking at my door as hard as they could, ordering me to open the door.
"Both of you should leave me alone!"
I yelled as I threw a glass at the door.
"Zayn open this door!"
Jake ordered even though Lu tried to persuade him to leave.
"I SWEAR TO GOD THAT IF YOU TWO DON'T LEAVE, I KILL YOU BOTH IF I OPEN THIS DOOR, JUST LEAVE PLEASE!!!!"
I warned and begged and I heard them slowly leave. I stared and my reflection in the mirror.
"She said is loud and clear, she hates you Zayn!"
I said to myself and threw a vase of flowers at my reflection. I stared at the shattered mirror and saw my eyes gradually change into black.
*JAKE'S P.O.V*
I heard a loud sound from my brother's room like something got shattered.
"Stay here, I have to check on him."
I informed Lu and when she wanted protesting, I quickly cut her off.
"He's my brother, no matter how dangerous he is or how deadly he becomes, he will always be my brother, my blood."
I said and I zoomed off to my brother's room and unlocked it with an extra key before opening and entering inside.
"GET OUT!"
Zayn ordered as he turned around to face me. His eyes were black, void and with no remorse.
To be honest, fear gripped me but I found some courage to stand, prevent him from reading my mind and I finally spoke.
"No Zayn....I'm not leaving."
"Get. Out."
"No Zayn! You're just killing yourself."
I retorted and sank into his sofa close by and crossed my legs resting on the small sized wooden stool.
"So what's wrong?"
I asked and he quickly replied
"I don't wanna talk about it."
"Come on Zayn...you can't feel if anyone is in trouble by acting this way an-"
I tried to persuade him but he cut me off
"It's not just if anyone i-"
I cut him off and continued
"What's wrong?"
"I don't want to think about it...I don't wanna hurt you."
"Well you have to think and tell me!"
I yelled at him and his veins around his eyes turned dark and visible. Suddenly he fell and started shivering. It seemed like he was trying to contain his anger and prevent himself from hurting me. But he seemed quiet, then he finally spoke
"She hates me."
Suddenly he zoomed off within the blink of an eye.
I had to stop him before he does something insane.
"ZAYN WAIT!"
I yelled and pursued him until he stopped in the middle of the woods.
"You can't just say the girl hates you?"
I said trying to convince him but he quickly retorted
"She said it loud and clear, she hates me, and tonight I'm gonna tell her words of hate, she have a taste of hatred from a frustrated person......and for the other that called me a hag, I'll think of how to make her life miserable."
He smirked and jumped up to sit on the branch of a tall tree.
*ELIZABETH'S P.O.V"
Brieanna and Nichole arrived from the boutique with something for me to wear for Lina's party (clothing at media). I quickly dyed my hair hot red with a little shade of black and quickly got dressed.
"So are you gonna tell me who saved my life?"
I asked Daisy and lazily sat on my bed, but she remained silent.
"Come on, tell me."
I said with pleading eyes. She took deep breath and said
"You don't like the person Liz."
"Jeff?"
"What! No."
"Then who?"
"Zayn."
She simply answered with a sigh and added
"Elizabeth, you have to stop hating that guy, he likes you alot..."
"As a friend."
She hesitantly added and sat beside me.
"It's not like I hate him it's just that I've lost alot of people and I don't want anything to happen to him.....I can't loose him, he looks alot like Josh, I prefer being an enemy to him and see him every day than to bring him close and then he goes too."
I slowly confessed to her.
"Just be nice to him at least a little bit, you don't know how much your hateful words hurt him."
She tried convincing me, I just nodded and decided within that I was gonna try and talk to him at the party in a friendly manner. I got off my bed and gave my hair loosed curls.
***AT THE PARTY ***
I arrived in Daisy's truck and got into Lina's mansion, her personal mansion, her parents stayed in the States while she stayed here in England .
"Oh, the most feared girl in the school has arrived."
Lina did a fake gasp then she smiled evilly.
"I don't have to make you regret before you leave me alone, so just let me be ok?
I replied her tiredly, my eyes were searching around for Zayn but was just a pain in the neck and she was just getting on my nerves.
"No, why don't tell everyone about how you stole my date for tonight you whore."
She said and gasps filled the room. I slapped her hard and said
"Why don't you tell them the truth, they all know I can never bring myself THAT low."
I said then I quickly snatched away her cup of punch from her and had it on her dress and hair.
"Oops, it seems you need to shower and get dressed....slut."
I said with a fake gasp and smirked , She quickly ran out of the crowd almost in tears while headed straight for the dance floor.
I was still on the dance floor , grooving for a while before I felt someone lightly touch my shoulder.I turned around to see Jeff smiling at me
"Hi Liz."
"Hi."
"So how is the party going?"
"Fun."
I said and I decided to ignore him, suddenly he grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the dance floor with him and said
"Come with me, you'll love it."
"Where are you taking me to?"
"Just come along in."
He ordered and pulled me into a room.He closed the door and fear suddenly gripped my heart.
"Now, no one will save you from me, you don't know how long I've waited for this."
He said and licked his lips as he approached me.
"Don't you dare."
I warned as I stepped back but he didn't listen. I quickly kicked him and slightly slashed the side of his left cheek with the small pocket-knife I had. He groaned and I quickly rushed out of the room. I went back to the dance floor and saw Jeff rush out of the party, I let out a heavy sigh of relief and smiled. My facial expression quickly changed as soon as I saw someone backing me, he seemed very familiar, my eyes widened and I gasped
"Josh?"
