Namjoon's POV
.
It officially has been a whole month since the encounter at the restaurant with Annie and her fucking boss, Mr. King.
I was so angry that day but more angry at Annie knowing that she worked for a very dangerous man and knowing the kind of person he was, she still decided to stay beside him. The man told her that Y/N was a target but yet as her best friend she still didn't turn the other cheek. All she said to me was -
"Me working with him Namjoon will probably keep Y/N out of danger"
"And how can you be so sure of yourself?"
"By buying some time to see what he really wants with her. Think about it. If I find out what he has planned, I can let you know before anything crazy happens"
"And what if he gets to you first?"
"Then he does, but I'll make sure that doesn't happen"
"Are you going to at least tell her the kind of work you do?"
"NO! And I advise you don't either. Not until I make sure she is safe"
"Annie -"
"And one other thing Namjoon -" she says cutting me off "Don't tell Jungkook or his husband either. Don't tell anyone. Please keep this to yourself"

And now sitting here on my couch with my brother next to me, I feel him eye my phone as I text Annie back
"You really like that girl huh?"
"What?" I say turning my phone away from him. He then looks at me while laughing
"You stay texting her throughout the day since I've been here. Does your little girlfriend know?"
"Little girlfriend?" I say looking confused while typing on my phone
"You know. The little pregnant one that lives across the street from you?"
"She's not my girlfriend Yugyeom"
"Are you sure? She stays at your house all the time she's starting to have clothes being left here"
"Yes, I'm sure. And the only reason she had clothes here is because Jungkook is at the hospital, and he doesn't want her staying alone at her house"
"Are you sure that's what it is? You're not blowing her pregnant back out?"
"YUGYEOM!" I yell his name
"I'm just playing bro chill" he taps my shoulder, laughing when I shake my head "Little brother was just being nosey that's all"
"How's Jungkook?" I ask
"Why are you asking me that for?"
"I asked Y/N, but she doesn't see much of him considering he is always at the hospital with Levian but from what he texted me the other day, you stay bothering him"
"I don't bother him" he says rolling his eyes and I chuckle at his statement knowing that he naturally annoying without even trying
"Then why were you there?"
"To keep him company. Duh"
"Are you sure that's it?" I question staring him down
"Yes Namjoon"
"I'm not playing with you Yugi. The man is married, and he doesn't need any more dumb shit out there that his husband can see. The fight with him and that one guy is finally making its way slowly off the trending list and out of the media"
"I know and I promise" he places his right hand over his heart "I'm being a god boy, besides, he doesn't want me anyway. I hear him talking to his husband trying to make things right with him"
"And that's good" I say smiling while typing this full-blown essay to Annie
"I guess. He is something I enjoy looking at though, but it would really be nice to know what he sounds like in the bed -" he says and I slowly look at him while he bites his lips while staring straight ahead "I know his moans will make me bust within seconds"
"Too much info bro" I mumble while hitting his shoulder, side eyeing him with my face scrunched up in disgust which makes him burst out laughing "And I'm serious Yugi -" I say pointing my index finger at him
"I know I know, the man is off limits"

Jungkook's POV

"Jungkook"
"Just keep those pretty eyes of yours closed" I say while guiding her out the car. Sitting her down on a cold stone wall, I bend down taking her shoes off but feel as she taps my shoulder
"Wh-what are you doing?"
"Do you trust me?" I say stopping my movements to look up at her closed eyes. She then slowly places her hand back into her lap staying silent, as if she's waiting for what I was about to show her. Now standing her back to her feet, I watch as she sinks her feet into the soft sand and a smile grows across her face.
"The beach?"
"Open your eyes" watching as they slowly open, she stares at a sign then looks at me
"Oh my gosh, really?" she says and I nod
I decided to eventually let Busan know the name of this tourist site while I wait for everything else to be built considering it's still under construction. And throughout the process, I struggled day and night trying to figure what to name it when the only name then came to mind
"Ara's Mall" I say to myself but loud enough for Y/N to hear me "I decided to turn this side of the beach into a tourist attraction which is already turning heads of many people"
"I love the name Jungkook. She is so lucky"
"Yea she is" I say placing my hand on Y/N's belly, rubbing it. Feeling small kicks, I smile to myself placing my other hand on her belly as well. Standing there for a while, I watch as Y/N places her hands over mine as I make eye contact with her "Are you uncomfortable? I can stop" I say pulling away, but she shakes her head while putting my hands back
"You can feel her whenever you want. Even when I'm mad at you, I'll never tell you no" but eventually letting her belly go, I take her hand into mine when we start to walk the beaches shoreline
"Are you sure we should be doing this? What if someone takes pictures of us?"
"So what? Taehyung knows I hold hands with you. Remember when I would always see you guys hold hands?" she nods and I smile "And you're my surrogate, what can they honestly say?"
"I don't know. Anything to start a bad rumor. I just don't want issues with Taehyung and you in the media" shaking my head, I let out a deep sigh, feeling her look up at me "Did I trigger something?"
"I never told you about the day I called him"
"You did?" she asks and I nod "And how did that go?"
"Taehyung's mom was there -"
"THAT BITCH UGH I HATE HER GUTS!" she yells out cutting me off when I laugh while placing my hand on her stomach
"You and I both but please calm down before you stress my baby out" she giggles while nodding
"But, she was there and in the mix of it all, Jimin ended up on facetime with me"
"YOUR SHITTING BALLS RIGHT NOW. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"
"Shitting - balls?" I give her wide eyes while laughing "Anyway. He was talking shit about he lowkey should fuck him since that's all I say their doing"
"NO HE DIDN'T SAY THAT DUMB SHIT!?"
"He did" I then look down but feel as she steps in front of me "I love Taehyung Y/N. Even after everything with him and Jimin in the news, I was the one that had to apologize on his behalf. For his mistakes. If this was the other way around, knowing Taehyung, he would have been popped a blood vessel if I was with some guy or in bed with him"
"Especially knowing that I slept with him and you" she blurts out something inaudible and I look at her
"What did you say?" she looks up at me with wide eyes and I scrunch my face together
"I uh - I said especially knowing I slept with you"
"Oh - yea and he will hate me forever if he ever finds that out"

Y/N's POV

Hate you? I guess your both going to hate each other. Or probably just me. Or you might hate us more if you find out the baby might not be yours
"Y/N!" Jungkook says my name loud enough to get my attention. Snapping my head, I look up at him "What's on your mind?"
"Nothing - just a little hungry that's all" I lie
"Did you want to get something to eat?"
"As long as it involves skittles and ice cream, I'm down"

Walking back into my house, Jungkook helps me out before taking off back to the hospital to be with his sister. He hates leaving her which is why he hired a bunch of security guards to stand outside her room, but he wanted to spend time with me today and I really enjoyed it. I tried calling Annie to hang out with her but she always seemed caught up with Namjoon so I guess - they might be a thing now
Even though he told me he wants nothing to do with her, I see her name pop up on his phone many times since their date last month which is one reason why I don't like going to his house much. Cause if they are a thing, I don't want to disrespect Annie's relationship. But getting a knock on my door, I go to open it coming face to face with Namjoon
"Hey" he says with a small smile but I just look at him
"Hi" I then walk away from the door. He walks inside closing the door behind him "Why are you here?"
"Jungkook told me -"
"Well, you can go, I don't need you here" I say cutting him off, walking into my kitchen feeling him follow behind me
"Is everything ok?"
"Yea, I'm fine. Why would do you say that?"
"Cause you don't stay at my house anymore Y/N"
"Well, with Annie's car being there late at night in your garage and then leaving out early in the morning before anyone wakes up, I don't need to be there anymore" seeing him let out a sigh, he shakes his head
"It's not even like that"
"You really don't have to explain yourself to me. Just don't hurt my girl's feelings or we're fighting"
"But Y/N, I'm serious. There's nothing going on with us. She comes over so we can discuss business and that's it"
"Business?" I say folding my arms "From 11 at night to 6 in the morning?"
"Your stalking me now?" he says with a smile and I roll my eyes
"I be hungry late at night, and I be wanting to call you so you can grab me something to eat. So, when I decided to give you a call, I saw lights shining through my window making me see who it was since we stay in a cul-de-sac. And that's when I saw Annie's car pulling up into your garage"
"Nothing's happening between us"
"Well, can you tell me why she's been avoiding me? That I would like to know"
"I - wish I can tell you" I then shake my head
"Does she think I would be mad at her cause she's talking to you?"
"Y/N -" he walks up to me reaching for my hands to hold them in his "I mean it when I say, nothing is happening between us, we are just discussing business"
"THEN WHY CAN'T YOU JUST TELL ME?" I yell snatching out of his grip. But getting cut off from his phone ringing in his pocket, he reaches for it. He lets out a big sigh while answering
"Hey Annie"

"Yea, I'm with her"

"You want me to come over now? I don't think I can"
"Just go. I'll be fine" I say and he nods
"I'll be there in 20" he says hanging up
"I promise I want to tell you but -"
"Just go" I say cutting him off
With him walking out the door, I punch the air getting upset about why he can't tell me. And wanting to follow his every move, I decided to put my shoes on when it takes me forever to slide my shoes on with this baby in the way.

Now grabbing my car keys, I start to head to the front door while opening it. But then I end up bumping into a tall figure, when he catches me again resulting in me looking up at him
"Yugyeom?"
"We really have to stop meeting like this" he smirks down at me

Annie's POV
.
I knew something wasn't right. I felt it in my gut when I got the call from Mr. King telling me to bring Namjoon with me to some unknown location. With 30 minutes gone, I get a knock on my door when I go to open it
"Hey?" he says walking in. I poke my head out the door checking my surroundings before closing it "I'm here so what's up?"
"It's Mr. King"
"What does he want?"
"He wants us to meet him somewhere"
"Where Annie?" he says with a little worry in his tone letting his voice grow deeper
Even with everything going on, that shit was sexy as fuck
"I don't know. It's some unknown location" I say and he shakes his head
"I'm not going anywhere I don't know anything about"
"But Namjoon -"
"NO ANNIE. I SAID I'LL HELP Y/N - NOT GET US KILLED! I already had to try and calm her nerves because she thought we were a thing"
"You told her we weren't right?" I ask and he nods
"But she's asking about you. Why are you ignoring her?"
"I'm not trying to but when I get around Y/N, I just want to tell her that her life is in danger -"
"THEN TELL HER BEFORE I DO!" he yells cutting me off
"BUT YOU AGREED!"
"I KNOW I DID BUT THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND ANNIE!" he sighs calming down looking at me "She talks so highly of you. She trusts you Annie, and it's only fair for you tell her what's going on"
"But - I can't" I shake my head "I'm scared if I tell her, I might get her killed" I watch as he scrunches his face and runs his hands down his face
"ANNIE! HER NOT KNOWING. HER NOT BEING PREPARED CAN GET HER KILLED! Those men want her for whatever reason. If you don't want to tell her then tell Jungkook"
"Ok" I nod reasoning with him
"And just so you know" I look at him "What your doing doesn't make you a good friend. I hope she cuts you off when she finds out" holding in my tears, I lift my head, inhaling then exhaling
"She's probably going to cut you off too" his eyes become hooded "Did you ever think about that?"
"Don't turn us into enemies Annie. That's the last thing you want to do with me"

Jungkook's POV
.
I've been at the hospital all day while texting Y/N. She said she's relaxing and eating up everything her kitchen when I then get a video call from someone, I wish I never knew
"What the hell do you want now?"
"Wow - rude" Yugyeom says and I roll my eyes. But scanning his background, I grow annoyed while staring him down
"Why are you at Y/N's?"
"Because my brother had an appointment and asked me to keep an eye on her in the time being. Is that a problem Mr. Jeon?" he says with sass in his tone which makes me roll my eyes
"You shouldn't be there"
"Wow, you don't trust me?" he says fake crying while wiping his fake tears
"Fuck you Yugyeom. You get on my nerves" I mumble and he laughs "Where is Y/N?" I watch as he looks around
"I don't know. Probably upstairs"
"THEN GO SEE!" I yell at him and he rolls his eyes while standing to his feet. Hearing grunting noises, he knocks on the bedroom door calling her name when she slowly opens it
"Hey, you ok?" he says but she only holds her belly while looking at him shaking her head
"I - I think I'm in labor" she says and I stand to my feet
"Umm - Jungkook - what do I do?" he looks at the screen when I look at him
"Bring her to the hospital and let me know when your here"

With the minutes going by, he texts me letting me know she's at the same hospital as Levian but in the maternity ward. The doctor said to Yugyeom, she went into labor and with her being a month early, it has me kind of nervous. I read about babies being born early and asked a few questions from the nurses when they told me it's normal which helped to ease my mind a little bit knowing now that baby girl is fine. So, nodding my head to Yugyeom's message, I stand to my feet about to head out but as I open the door -
"J-Jungkook?" she says my name making me snap my head towards her while she slowly opens her eyes to look at me
"LEVIAN!"
