It was an unfortunate day for Gahyeon as soon she just had her graduation ceremony day earlier and now, she's stuck on her own as the weather turns dark by the end of her graduation.
She texted her Jiu unnie and the response she got is quite disappointing for her as she has to wait for an hour.
Light rain pours down and Gahyeon has nowhere to cover herself from getting wet.
This day is the first time for Gahyeon to let out a cuss over her own unfortunate day.
"Xbal .. what am I gonna do right now ..", she ran faster to any building she spotted that had a roof for her.
Her bag is over her head as she sprinted her way to the building. She shivered in the coldness. Her head is hanging low as her hands go for her arms to find some warmth in this cold, rainy weather as she rubs her hands.
She's hoping Jiu comes faster and brings her home where the warmth gives her comfort the most.
"Lee Gahyeon", somebody called her name.
Gahyeon didn't bother to look at them until -
"You're Lee Gahyeon, right?", you asked while holding a huge umbrella that could fit more than 2 people under it.
"Uh... yes", she shuddered.
You sucked in your inner cheeks, "Do you know me?", you asked.
You didn't expect her to know you since you barely even exist in the class as your classmates are well-known as idols in it.
"You...", she stared at you, probably scanning while trying to remember who you are, "F/n L/n", she said.
"You're my partner in some teamwork projects", she mumbled.
"Why you ask that", she started to sneeze.
"Bless you... let's just say if you're okay, would you mind coming with me to my house? If you're waiting for someone to pick up, at least you can wait where the place is a bit warm rather than out in the cold streets?", you rambled.
To be honest, you're nervous that she thought you're being weird since you're asking her to come home with you.
"I'm not forcing you. I just feel -"
"Okay. Let's go to your house. I don't want to wait outside", she hurriedly said and you gave her a cover as she ran underneath the umbrella you're holding.

You lend some clean, dry clothes for her to change since most of her clothes are wet.
"I hope you don't mind I'm drying my clothes on your rack", she said while drying her hair off with your towel.
Yep, your towel...
"Ah.. and this", she said, pointing to the towel she's using on her head aka wrapping it around with her hair.
"I... don't mind", you mumbled.
You rubbed your chin, thinking what should you say next since the room is getting excruciating silent for your like.
"Do you want to eat? I'm planning to cook ramyeon though", you broke the silence.
"Okay. I'm in and can I help you with something? I don't like doing nothing when you offer me too much kindness treatment", she muttered as she fiddled her fingers.
You chuckled, "It's fine", you said.
But that's not enough for her.
"Pleaseee", she begged.
You look at her puppy eyes. You tried to say no but... you ended up giving in to her as you let out a soft sigh, "hah... if you insist then, I cannot say no", you facepalmed while she's clapping her hand in victory.

It happened so fast... so smooth that you and Gahyeon chatted like you and Gahyeon are that you're her best friend. It's non-stop chattering. You don't mind that though.
"If I know we're clicked, I should befriend you earlier", she nudged with almost a whiskers-like appearance on her cheeks as she smiled.
"At least we know each other more properly", you smiled while wiping the wet dishes from Gahyeon as you dried it off from her washing.
Basically, she's washing the dirty dishes and you're cleaning it up after the dishes with a clean towel rubbing on its surface.
Standing closer to her as this feels like you and Gahyeon is like something else and somehow, in your logical mind, it was laughing at you as you sounded so idiot right now. You're fooling yourself with delusional wishes.
A phone ringing then echoes through the room which caught her attention.
"Can I?", She asked and you nodded. You're questioning why in the heck she needs permission to answer the call.
Then again... you thought it must be out of courtesy. She's such a good-natured person.
"Alright, unnie. I'll send the location right now, okay... I'm sorry that I forget to respond to your text", Gahyeon pouted. Her voice then slowly sounds distant that perks up your attention as you're very worried she's accidentally walking in your storage room that is full up with KPop thingy.
That room is your secret place so it would be feeling like you're naked when someone came into the room.
You tidied up everything quickly in the kitchen then went to where Gahyeon was.
You sighed out of relief when she's lying peacefully on the sofa with her phone still in her ear.
"... Yes... yes, unnie... Call me later if you're here. Who's me? My soulmate - Y/n", you blushed when she said those words.
Ah... she's still unaware of your presence.
You purposely let out a small cough. You don't want her to be panic and fall from the sofa since she's sitting in a unique position - upside down. Gahyeon whipped her head towards the sound in instant then sent out a small grin before listening back to her nagging unnie.
"I'll hang up now, unnie. See you later. I love you"
You looked at her, waiting for an update if her pick-up person is here because if it's not, you want to play some console games with her.
"She's on her way. I don't know where she's exactly at right now", she mumbled.
"Well then, we can kill some time with games", you pointed to the console games which are at the corner of your room.
"Good idea, Y/n", she grinned.

Times fly faster when you have fun with someone and now, it's time for Gahyeon to bid goodbye.
You are bewildered to see all girls are coming to pick Gahyeon and you're flabbergasted by the foods they're bringing in their hands as they are handing it all over you for their way to be thankful for taking care of their maknae.
"Oh gosh, thank you for taking care of our too-much-maintenance maknae, Y/n", Sua said as she represented as a mother in the group other than JiU.
"No, no, no. She's not that much to handle", you smiled politely.
"Here you go", Yoohyeon hands all over the expensive-looking dishes to your hands which make you slightly lose your balance because of the unexpected heaviness from carrying it.
You wondered how the heck they could carry those dishes while taking the stairs to the third floor.
"We don't know what you like but we hope you enjoy the foods", Handong said.
"These are too much for one person but thank you", you shyly said.
"Anyways, Y/n. Thank you for the hospitality", Gahyeon beamed.
You stood freeze on the spot when Gahyeon gives you a peck on the cheek which makes your whole face painted in the color red.
"Wow, Gahyeon is getting grow up faster", the girls dramatically cried over the maknae's act.
"I - Um... Wow", you mumbled, earning a giggle from Gahyeon.
Gahyeon then leans into your ear, making your heart stops for a second before it goes pumping wildly to the point you could hear it ringing in your ears when she whispers a thank-you.
While the girls...
"Yah! Lee Gahyeon! What are you doing to Y/n"
"Goodbye Y/n", she finally pulls away and beaming a big smile.
"Goodbye, Gahyeon", you said in dazed.
