3RD POV - TRAINING GROUNDS
It was early in the morning, at the break of dawn basically, when the first person arrived. It was the duckbutt Uchiha, he sat down under the tree and waited with an obvious glare on his face. Even that early in the morning he needed the glare. The next to arrive was our local banshee Sakura, who had hearts in her eyes while ogling at the lone ravenette. Then it was our ramen-addict Naruto, who was complaining about how he was 'late' and how he did not get to brush his teeth or change his underwear. This caused the other two genin to move away from him slowly. While they all waited, the one and only, Uchiha Sasuke felt like something was missing. He couldn't pinpoint what was missing besides his sensei, he just knew they were forgetting something.

3RD POV - Y/N'S HOUSE
Y/N was just waking up and it was around the time she should show up at the training grounds. She knew that Kakashi wouldn't wake up, or just show up, until around three or maybe four hours after the time he said to be there. So, Y/N got dressed in her casual clothes of black jounin pants, a gray long-sleeve shirt, and a mask covering from her shoulders up to her nose. She then brushed through her H/C H/L hair to contain the bedhead she had gotten. After Y/N walked into her kitchen to get onigiri and an omelet for breakfast. She knew that she wouldn't be able to function without food, so she ate whether Kakashi said not to eat or if he said to eat. She strapped a tanto blade onto her back and put her kunai pouch on her right/left thigh then walked to the door.
"Okaka..." 'I can just teleport...' Y/N sweatdropped then teleported away.

Y/N arrived at the training grounds for Sakura and Naruto to scream,
"OI, YOU'RE LATE!"
"Kelp.." 'Hi to you too..' Y/N then went into her depressive corner with huge dark depressive lines above her head.
Kakashi then showed up a minute later and sweatdropped,
"What happened to Y/N-chan? Isn't it too early to be sad? Hey, Y/N-chan come on."
Y/N turned her head from the mushrooms and weird shrooms she was growing to look at the man with a bounty that she 'oh-so-wanted' and started to have a flowery aura with sparkles lighting up in her eyes. This caused Kakashi to realize that she knew what they were going to do and he backed away slightly from his cute S-Rank ninja.
"No Y/N-chan, bad Y/N-chan, no bounty-hunting for you!" Kakashi exclaimed then ran away to the other side of the genin while they all looked at the two with wide and confused eyes. Then they realized,
"HEY KAKASHI-SENSEI YOU'RE LATE!!!" the local banshee and wanna-be Hokage screamed at the top of their lungs.
"Ah, you see I saw an old lady who needed help with her groceries, and I-"
"YOU'RE LYING"
Kakashi just awkwardly scratched the back of his head with a closed eye smile then started to explain the exercise.
"So for the clock is set for noon, all you have to do is get these 3 bells away from me. You can use any means necessary, aim to kill me to get the bells," then Sakura raised her hand and asked, more like screamed, why was there only three bells when there were four people to which Kakashi said, "all you have to do is get the bells-"
Y/N zoned out since she knew the point of the exercise, teamwork, she knows she could take Kakashi down if she wanted. It would take a little since he also was a former anbu and is a jounin, but she could do it. Her mind then wandered off to think about everything, she missed Itachi-sensei and how he would go and get onigiri with her since he liked the dango at the onigiri place. She also wondered if he was doing okay since it became more of a claim that Itachi did not kill off his clan to 'test-his-limits', he had a pure heart that wouldn't do that. But it wasn't like she could do anything about it. Y/N finally snapped back to reality when she saw Naruto pinned under Kakashi with Kakashi saying that he finally 'liked' the genin. He finally started the exercise and everyone scattered or that is what Y/N thought,
"HEY, HEY YOU FIGHT ME HERE AND NOW!" Naruto yelled at Kakashi while he sweatdropped and said,
"You're a weird one aren't you? No matter, the first lesson: taijutsu!"
Naruto and Kakashi then got into a taijutsu battle that evolved into one with shadow clones and substitution jutsus. Eventually, Kakashi got bored and reached into his ninja pouch. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were all getting nervous about what he may be pulling out just to be disappointed when he pulled out his famous Icha-Icha Paradise book. Y/N sweatdropped realizing what the book actually was since she has read it once or twice. She sighed then focused back on the battle happening, she saw Naruto get Kakashi's fingers stuck up his butt which made Y/N wince and shudder at the thought. When Naruto got caught in an obvious trap she jumped down silently and went up to him to cut the rope holding his feet.
"Mustard Leaf? Tuna Tuna" 'Are you okay? We should work together Naruto' Y/N said while Naruto looked at her then realized what she was saying,
"I am okay! But I need to do this alone so I can prove I can be Hokage one day!!" he then ran off before Y/N could say anything else. But suddenly she heard a scream and ran to it.
Y/N saw Sakura in a genjutsu so she released the jutsu and asked if she wanted to work together in her onigiri vocabulary which she received a,
"NO I WANT SASUKE-KUN YOU'RE NOTHING COMPARED TO HIM AHHH! SASUKE-KUN IS THE ONLY ONE I'LL WORK WITH!" then she ran off to find her dear Sasuke-kun to only find his head sticking out of the ground.
Sakura froze mid-step, screamed once again, then fainted while Y/N sweatdropped then asked if Sasuke wanted to work together,
"Okaka, Tuna" 'Sasuke, do you want to work together?' which Y/N received a glare and,
"Tch, no you guys are all just weak. I already touched the bells while none of you have done anything." Y/N sighed and went to go find Kakashi while she left the two genin stuck in their positions.

Y/N POV
I left Sasuke with Sakura since they both did not want to work together. Then I began thinking of the possible ways I could get the bells which ended up in using my kekkei genkai. Thankfully I left the two genin immobilized so they wouldn't find out yet. Then Naruto is probably stuck in another trap if we are being honest. I sweatdropped at the thought. It took a few seconds to find Kashi-san, he was standing in a clear area looking like he was waiting for me.
"Fish Flakes, Tuna Tuna" 'This team is useless, they have no teamwork whatsoever Kashi-san' I sighed to which Kashi-san replied,
"So you do know this test! Ah, I should have known well, are you gonna get the bells?" I sighed for the millionth time today and thought about what I was going to do.
"Bonito Flakes" 'gomen Kashi-san I am bored and this is the fastest way' to which Kashi-san tensed and got into a defensive battle position.
I pulled down my mask to show the rest of my face with the dark purple tattoo on my mouth,
"DON'T MOVE" Kashi-san immediately stopped moving and was stuck in his defensive position alarmed that he could not move.
I then walked up to him and took all three bells plus I sneakily took his Icha-Icha Paradise book to read and replaced it with a fake one that was actually a medium-sized rock with a transformation jutsu covering it. The bell then rang and Kashi-san was released, looked at me then sighed while I teleported back to the stumps where the clock was. I saw Naruto tied to a stump then realized he probably tried to eat the lunch before the bell rang. Then Sasuke came out with Sakura shaking but clinging to his side after Kashi-san poofed right in front of us.
"You guys won't be sent back to the academy," Kashi-san said with a grim look
"E-eh but all I did was faint and fall for a genjutsu...?" Sakura said with confusion.
Kashi-san looked at all of them, sighed, then gave a slightly annoyed look,
"None of you got the bells which means none of you pass, this-"
"Fish Flakes, Tuna" 'No wait Kashi-san, look in their pockets' I said to which the three genin pulled out a bell and I pulled out Kashi-san's Icha-Icha Paradise book.
Kashi-san looked at me with horror in his eye and pleaded with his eyes to give it back while I just opened the book and started reading.

3RD POV
The three genin stared wide-eyed at the fact that they had a bell when they never actually got one. They all looked at Kakashi who was staring at the mysterious fourth teammate who was reading Kakashi's orange book.
"Okaka" 'they pass' Y/N looked at them with a bored look,
"Nevermind, none of you will be sent to the academy because you guys should quit being a ninja! The only one who got this exercise was Y/N, she knew what she had to do but all of you did not even think about why there are three bells while there are four of you! Sakura, Naruto was right in front of you but you did not even help him nor did you accept Y/N's ask to work together! You immediately went to go find Sasuke. While Naruto, Y/N helped you and asked if you wanted to team up but you ignored her to be independent. Then Sasuke, you think you are better than everyone here that you refused help from anyone when in reality you are really just an arrogant child!"
With that Sasuke charged at Kakashi with a kunai just to be pinned down by him and the kunai at his neck.
"Hey Sakura, kill Naruto or Sasuke gets killed and Y/N, if Sakura doesn't kill Naruto then kill both Sasuke and Naruto!" Kakashi said with a serious look, then sighed, "there are always these situations where a hostage is taken and you, as a team, have to work together to make it work."
Kakashi then walked over to the KIA stone that Y/N was sitting by,
"The people on this stone were heroes-"
"I'm gonna be a hero! My name will be on that stone! Believe It!" Naruto exclaimed happily which didn't last long,
"Fish Flakes, Tuna" 'The people on that stone have all passed away Naruto, they were killed in action' Y/N said sadly.
While Kakashi was telling about the KIA stone Y/N was thinking about how she had quite a few friends on that stone, including one of her closest friends who she met in the anbu. He was two years older than Y/N and acted like the family she never had, she felt like she had an elder brother when they were together. He was protective, always loving, but also serious when he needed to be. His name was Yuuki Isamu, and Y/N missed him every day. But she was snapped back from her memories when Kakashi said that they were not allowed to share their lunch with Naruto and teleported himself and Y/N away.
"Tunnnaaa" 'You scared me Kashi-san' Y/N said with fake sadness to which Kakashi sweatdropped with amusement,
"My sweet, sweet, Y/N you are just so cute! I knew you were too busy being a depressed little munchkin so I made sure to snap you out of it!" he squealed quietly with a thick pink blush on his face.
"Tuna Mayo..." 'Kashi-san you look like a pervert and a slight pedophile if I didn't know better.." she sighed then leaned her head on Kakashi which made him squeal even more.
He was snapped out of his perv/pedo state when he saw that Sasuke and Sakura were offering their food to Naruto. He smiled slightly then put Y/N, who fell asleep on his shoulder, on his back then poofed right in front of the three genin with thunder clouds and lightning behind him to scare them.
"YOU ALL DISOBEYED MY ORDERS! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS?!"
"H-hey we are all a team..!" Sakura fearfully said,
"Y-YEAH WE ARE ONE BELIEVE IT!" Naruto said shakily,
"Hn" Sasuke just uttered with slight emotion in his eyes.
"THAT'S YOUR EXCUSE??" Kakashi then took a large breath and did a closed eye smile, "You guys pass"
The three genin stared in shock with wide eyes while Kakashi boasted Y/N put on his back since she was slipping. Kakashi was wondering how she could still be sleeping after all the yelling but then again, who knows. Then he thought that she must be comfortable and safe with him. He internally squealed out of happiness then snapped back when he realized the genin were still staring.
"Ah team 7 we have our first mission starting tomorrow, make sure to rest! Ja ne~" Kakashi then poofed away with Y/N who woke up after they arrived at her house.
Y/N started to play with Kakashi's hair which he didn't notice since he was reading his book. Then when she tapped his shoulder and smiled he smiled back and they said goodbye. While Kakashi poofed away to the Hokages, the anbu and Hokage all started snickering like children.
"Eh is there something on my face?" Kakashi said confused about why they were staring and giggling at him.
"A-ah gomen Kakashi there is just a little glitter," the Third said to which Kakashi tilted his head down and a huge stream of blue, grey, and black glitter started to pile on the floor.
He stood there will a huge irk mark and yelled,
"Y/N I'LL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS YOU CUTE BUT ANNOYING LITTLE BOUNTY HUNTER!!!"
‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY ☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙
"Sasuke, point A"
"Sakura, point B"
"Okaka.." 'Y/N, point C'
....
"NARUTO POINT D BELIEVE IT!"
"Hey Naruto, you're kinda slow," Kakashi said with a sweatdrop.
The four genin and jounin were tasked with catching a missing cat, Tora, who unknown to the rest was actually in Y/N's purring the whole time. Naruto then jumped out and tried to tackle the cat out of Y/N's arms which led to her side-stepping and Naruto falling on his face.
"Bonito Flakes?" 'Are you okay?' she asked even though she knew she was the reason he fell.
"I HATE CATS CAN'T WE GET A BETTER MISSION?!" Naruto screamed into the earpiece which deafened two of the genin and the jounin while the other took hers out since she saw him screaming coming.
Team 7 then went back to the Hokage's office, the anbu in the room bowed to Y/N but the other three genin thought they were being respectful to Kakashi. But Kakashi knew they were bowing to Y/N which he silently smirked at. Y/N waved at them and they both smiled underneath their masks.
"Ahh team 7 you have more D-Rank missions, babysitting, picking weeds, then there is-"
"NO, I WANT A REAL MISSION! THESE ARE FOR LITTLE KIDS I WANT SOMETHING CHALLENGING!!" Naruto shouted which was responded with,
"NARUTO YOU ARE JUST A GENIN! YOU CAN'T DO THOSE MISSIONS YET!!" Iruka yelled back.
Y/N and Kakashi looked at each other, to the Hokage who was watching with amusement, then back to each other and sighed,
"We are going to be in so much trouble later"
The Hokage started talking about how mission ranks go from D-S and how each mission is for a certain rank of ninja. Y/N turned to Kakashi, pulled him down and jumped on his back then fell asleep. He just stood there in shock then shook his head, smiled, then turned to listen to Naruto talking about ramen.
"HEY ARE YOU GUYS LISTENING?!?"
"A-ah yes w-we were Lord Hokage haha" Kakashi sweatdropped,
"Hey, where did Y/N-chan go Kakashi?" Hiruzen asked slightly confused, to which Kakashi turned to the side to show Y/N sleeping peacefully on his back muttering about onigiri.
"I see, well Naruto I will give you guys a C-Rank mission. Bring him in please!" The Third raised his voice slightly at the end.
All the people in the room besides Y/N turned to the door for a drunk man carrying a bottle of alcohol to walk in.
"Eh, these are the ninjas protecting me? What's with the short one with the idiotic face do you really want me to believe he is a ninja?"
With that, the three awake genin all looked at their height to find that he was talking about Naruto.
"I'LL DEMOLISH YOU!"
"Hey! Naruto you can't demolish the client!" Kakashi said while grabbing Naruto, but forgetting about Y/N, "a-ah Y/N-chan a-are you o-okay...?"
The whole room turns to the S-Rank ninja and former anbu captain who is now on her back fallen on the floor. She slowly lifts herself up into a sitting position with her hair covering her eyes with a shadow, then tilts her head up slightly. Y/N then releases a small amount of KI just to scare Kakashi, which accidentally scares everyone while the Hokage nervously laughs and the anbu are nervously inching closer to each other.
"Now, Y/N-chan you know I didn't mean it right? It was an accident Y/N-chan I needed to make sure Naruto didn't kill the client. Come on Y/N-chan you believe me right? You wouldn't hurt your dear Kashi-san, right? Right..?"
Kakashi was nervously backing up with cold sweat dripping down his face while the three genin and the client felt like they were going to suffocate from the small amount of KI being released.
"Fish. Flakes." 'You fucking dare to drop me?' Y/N looks at him with bloodlust evident in her eyes.
As Y/N was about to pull down her mask to use her kekkei genkai to utterly destroy and collect the bounty off of the 'Copy Ninja Kakashi', Ibiki suddenly pops up and shoves a box of onigiri in her face.
"Oi kid all the anbu and people in T&I can feel your bad mood and are scared, tone it down will ya?" Ibiki then walks out while Y/N has the biggest sparkles that could rival a star within her eyes while the aura behind her is visible with flowers, stars, and pink all around her.
"I'm saved, I'm saved, I'm saved..." Kakashi was muttering with his hand over his heart to stop it from beating so fast.
Everyone could finally take a breath and all stared at the girl who was now sitting there with a smile under her mask and a flowery aura surrounded her. Only to have their eyes bulging out of their heads at the fact that the onigiri box was now empty.
"EH YOU ATE ALL OF IT ALREADY WHAT ARE YOU?!?" the bridge builder screamed, while the rest of team 7 were now staring at the Hokage who was staring at Y/N's face with a small blush.
"I want to see her face!"
Was the only thought going through the genin's thoughts. Y/N sat there on the floor waiting for the mission to continue,
"Mustard Leaf..?" 'Is everything okay, can we continue..?' she asked with an obviously bored tone.
"A-ah that well uh-" the Third started,
"I am Tazuna the bridge builder and you all will protect me with your lives!" Tazuna told them with a cocky smirk but sounded like he was nervous about something to Y/N but no one else said or noticed anything.
Y/N narrowed her eyes at the man himself, Tazuna then gulped silently which did not go unnoticed by her. She waved over an anbu while the rest of the team were talking to each other,
"Bonito Flakes, Tuna" 'I have a bad feeling, tell Lord Third I want to speak to him after this' Y/N whispered to him.
"Hai, Captain" which she waved off since she wasn't their captain anymore, he bowed and walked but to his place by the Hokage and whispered her message.
The Hokage looked at her secretly and nodded slightly while she did the same. They thought they were being secretive but two people from her group noticed. Her favorite bounty and the duckbutt who were both looking, the Hatake in confusion and the Uchiha in slight suspicion and confusion.
"Alright, team 7 let's meet at the village gates in 20 minutes, ja ne~" to which Kakashi poofed outside the Hokage building waiting for Y/N to come out.
The rest of the team left, with Sasuke looking back secretly to see the anbu bowing to the Hokage and Y/N which caused him to be a little confused on why. But he dropped it for now and he left and closed the door. When it was just the Hokage and Y/N she started on her theory,
"Salmon Roe, Tuna Mayo, Tuna" 'When the man was speaking he said to protect him with our lives and this is a C-rank mission, he also had an underlying tone of fear with slight guilt I think was the emotion.' Y/N said with a serious tone,
"Okaka, Bonito Flakes?" 'Should I take this up with him to make him tell us the truth or should I take care of this myself?' the Hokage puffed smoke and turned to the side to stare out the window.
"Since you brought it up and you are always right about your hunches, I think you should be able to handle it. However, you should bring extra weapons to make sure. I wish you the best of luck, do send a message if it does escalate like you said and write if you need backup Y/N-chan" he smiled and Y/N waved goodbye.
She walked down the stairs to see Kakashi waiting for her,
"What was that with the Hokage Y/N-chan?"
"Mustard Leaf, Tuna" 'I have suspicions about this mission and he said that I may do what I need if the mission is the escalate to that point Kashi-san' Y/N told him seriously,
"I see, well I have full trust in you. Also, I want to make sure that if something were to happen to me I want you to use any means that you believe will be needed. Now go stock up on onigiri my cute little S-rank nin, ja ne~" and with that Kakashi poofed away with Y/N sweat dropping at his carefree attitude.
Which she realized wasn't that bad since the team has 'The Cursed Speaker' and "Copy Ninja Kakashi' so nothing bad should happen. Plus Y/N knows she can use all means possible if it gets to that. She started walking home to go pack and she pulled out shirts, pants, undergarments, and extra shoes which she stored in a scroll so she only needs to take an extra ninja pouch. Then she went and bought two dozen onigiri for the trip which she also sealed in a scroll. After that she went back home to pick up her two tanto swords, she strapped one on her back that stuck over her right shoulder. Then her second one was strapped onto the back of her waist right above her ninja pouches storing her scrolls, kunai, and shuriken so the hilt stuck on her left side. When she was done she teleported near the village gates to see Kakashi walking there too, so being the lovable student she jumped on his back and started hitched a ride. The two arrived to see all of the rest of the group waiting,
"YOU'RE LATE SENSEI!!"
"Oh uhm about that I was attacked by a fish and I had to take the long way here so no one got hurt-"
"YOU LIAR"
"Hn, where is Y/N?" Sasuke surprisingly asked,
"Kelp!" 'Here I am!' Y/N chirped happily popping her head over Kakashi's shoulder showing herself.
"Well then, now that everyone is here let's go to the Land of Waves!" Kakashi said with a closed eye smile.
With that team 7 left on their first C-Rank mission with Tazuna to the Land of Waves,
Or so they thought...
