Opening Scene an alley filled with... OK forget it Kipo and her friends were walking 3,262 miles from the billboard in I don't know which direction to look for clues left by her dad Mandu growls at Wolf as soon as that suggestion was made, catching the attention of everyone who isn't Kipo... or a cocooned Dave
Benson is weirded out and concerned, and Y/N is suspicious about this behavior, this all happens while Kipo is talking then they all... are about to walk away until Wolf is attacked by Mandu, Kipo sees that as playing, Benson again is weirded out and confused, and Y/N is trying to pry Mandu away to find out why she's acting like this
Dave hatches and runs toward a nearby gate that stands between the group and water
Wolf:Rule 52 of the surface: Standing water is a hard no
Y/N:That's not even standing water, that looks like sewer water which is a harder no (looks to the right) Oh Snap water fountain
Y/N immediately goes to test the fountain and it works
Benson:Always thought those were tiny satellite dishes
They all get to drinking until a water mute comes up from the standing sewer water
SSWM:Well this day just turned fantastic
Y/N:Chaos? What are you doing outta the Master Emerald?
Wolf:You know that thing too?!
Y/N:What? No I was joking
Kipo:Who's Chaos?
Y/N:I'll tell you later
SSWM:I know not of this Chaos of whom you speak I am-
Y/N:Hydro Man from Spider-Man?
SSWM is confused due to this weird but somewhat intriguing human and found that joke somewhat funny, but tries to introduce himself again "I am not hydro man but I am made of the hydro material"
Suddenly everyone gets tired
Kipo:What are you?
SSWM:Why I am a co-occupier of this planet, just like you my friend, also a community of tardigrades. Water-dwelling microscopic water bears, but you can call me Tad Mulholland.
Then comes his introduction dialogue that I don't have the patience, or lack of laziness to type so here's a basic rundown
Mulholland-Dream maker, desire revealer, brain invader, and a water made version of Cell. Y'know the bio mechanical android who lives off of the cells and energy of others
Everyone's dreams are basically the same (Kipo meeting her mom, Benson and Dave being popular party animals, Mandu eating cheese puffs, and Wolf... Ion even wanna describe that one) so, let's just skip to your dream, Y/N's dream so here's the scenario. It starts off as your most desired dream, whatever it may be just picture that for about a minute
Take this long black (stop it) screen as time to do so
Suddenly BOOM
A fiery explosion goes off in nearby and out of the flames are tons of people screaming in immense pain all on fire one tackles you to the ground, and instead of hitting pavement, or grass, or dirt, (depending on your location in your dream) you continue falling
You fall through darkness which then transitions to a dark red until finally you crash through a building and hit the ground in shock... that your alive and that it didn't hurt like you would've expected
Y/N slowly gets up but is on their hands and knees and hears footsteps in front of them, and once they look up they see a long haired slender womanly figure with what looks to be clown makeup "What are you doing on the ground like that?" the figure asks with a soft friendly voice, Y/N stands and looks around in confusion "Where am I?" they asks earning a chuckle from the figure "Right. You probably wouldn't recognize immediately, but you'll find out in due time" she says confusing Y/N further prompting them to ask "Who are you? What are you talking about?" "What I'm talking about is something you'll understand soon, as for who I am" the woman bows "I'm Charlie, and you Y/N, have a lot of work to do" "How do you know my name?" She gestures Y/N to follow her and now they walk through a corridor before she speaks up "I know a lot about you, even things that you don't know yourself yet" they walk up to a tv screen and and find what's goin on outside
Y/N's friends sleeping peacefully in water like cocoons, Wolf stirring in hers and Y/N seemingly having a seizure which is confusing for Mulholland
Mulholland:That's strange. The little one seems to be having problems in her dream, and this one (brings Y/N to his face) I seem to have lost contact with this one entirely, that's never happened before
Y/N watches in awe "What's going on?" "Exactly what he planned" answers Charlie "He's distracting you and your friends with your wildest dreams so he can feast on your beings" this angers Y/N, who does that Chaos/Cell fusion reject think he is? Fire starts sprouting from his feet Charlie puts a hand on their shoulder and speaks up "The real question is... what are you going to do about it?" Y/N looks at her then back at the tv and clenches their fist "How do I get back?" They ask angrily and as if to answer Charlie snaps her fingers erupting Y/N into flames and sending him into the tv, at the same time Wolf wakes up seeing her situation, and before she can break out Y/N's cocoon begins to boil and suddenly their eyes open wide and in one violent shout of fury destroys their cocoon before turning to Wolf and destroying hers with a single arm swipe
Mulholland is in shock "Wow that's a first" Wolf speaks up "You! What did you do to us?" Y/N answers "He put us all in a dream state so he could absorb our slumbering bodies, the sick bastard" Mulholland then asks Y/N "That's mean. On a related note I lost contact with your dream somehow, and it seemed so beautiful, how did you that?" Y/N shrugs "I don't know, guess I got lucky" Mulholland turns to Wolf "As for you little pup, that ram must've been your guilt, apparently knowing you hid something from your friend interfered with the dream I made for you" Y/N turns to Wolf "So you were hiding something! Something that could help Kipo find her family! What. The hell is wrong with you?!" Wolf is about to answer but decides against it upon seeing flames grow around Y/N who turns to face Mulholland "Get everyone out of their dreams while I turn H2O eat anyone that's Delirious over here into mist. After that..." they look at Wolf "You'll have some explaining to do" their aura bursts and they dash towards Mulholland flying right through his face dissolving him before he reappears in another spot
Wolf tries to get to Kipo but gets washed away
Mulholland:I wouldn't do that little pup less you awaken your friend
Wolf:I want to wake her up
Mulholland:And yank her from perfection?
Y/N:That's enough out of you Cell! (Charges a burning attack, seriously) that perfection talk was tiresome in the anime, now your just beating a dead horse!
Y/N fires the attack but it's blocked by a water wall that turns to mist, that Y/N charges through to get to Wolf they are both then shot up by a water pillar before boosting to the ground "Wolf go!" Y/N orders but before Wolf can say or do anything buff wolf shows up which Y/N cringes upon seeing before grabbing Wolf and charging in between its legs reaching Benson and Dave leaving her with them and looking back to see Water Wolf shapeshift again into "Hydro-Man! So you do know him!" Mulholland replies "Not really know but when I entered your mind I saw some... interesting things" Y/N smirks "This just got really exciting" and with that they charge Hydro-Man Mulholland while Wolf wakes the others up
Benson and Dave are understandably upset that their dream ended but are told by Wolf to help Mandu while she helps "KIPO!" Kipo is brought to the sky by Mulholland who claims her fantasy is his best work yet and telling them about it before laughing and shape shifting into "Chaos!" Shouts an angry Y/N "This bastard... tried to control our fantasies.. and vore us, so in return..." Y/N's aura bursts again before taking their form from the CactusTown chapter and rising to the sky "Imma take you down like it's 1999!" They shout demonically before charging into Chaos Mulholland's head and grabbing Kipo and bringing her to Wolf "Wake her" they say before charging through Mulholland again dissolving him before he reappears and as soon as he does he shoots water a hydro cannon from his mouth at Y/N who charges through it entering said mouth, (kinda like that scene in Sonic X) Kipo spots this as soon as she wakes up and barely sees Y/N glow red inside of the beast
Benson and Dave spot this after saving Mandu and suggest that everyone runs, once they reach the gate from earlier Chaos Mulholland explodes into a dome of steam and smoke, upon seeing this Kipo's eyes widen and she immediately tries to go find Y/N but is held back by Wolf, Benson, and Mandu but then suddenly a figure walks out of the steam with a tint of red... and then out steps... an exhausted Y/N who immediately falls to their knees and is then brought into a very tight hug by a very happy Kipo "Are you OK?" Y/N looks up at her "I've been better. Did I worry ya?" Kipo hugs tighter and gives a small kiss to their cheek "You could say that" Y/N smirks at Kipo before she asks"So... is it over?" and as if on cue Mulholland rises once more and realizes "Are you all happier to be here, instead of the perfect worlds I created for you?" Everyone nods
Mulholland is bewildered and thinks about his life for a second, and then decides to do some soul searching
After all that, the group sit in a camp fire in a sad and somewhat awkward silence until Wolf speaks up "Kipo, I need to tell you something." Kipo looks at her "Is it about finding my dad? I thought I heard you say something about that in my dream" Y/N then takes this moment to speak and take something out of their pocket "Oh so that's what this little envelope was for" Wolf's eyes widen but Y/N continues "Surprised huh Wolf? I took it off of you when I brought you out of the steam. I was wondering why Mandu was trying to attack you and here's the answer." They then hand it to Kipo who reads it immediately finding out about the backup burrow and that they were going in the wrong direction(s) Y/N pipes back up "So Jolene, here we all thought Kipo was losing it, no offense Kipo" "It's cool" she says waving off the comment then Y/N continues "In reality it was you who wasted our time, nearly got us all killed, and went back on the promise you made to Kipo. Which if I'm not mistaken was to help her get home. What are the odds?"
Kipo looks to Wolf "You knew?"
Wolf:Kipo, I'm so sorry
Kipo isn't having this and gets up with hurt and anger written all over her face "My dad left me a note, and you hid it from me!"
Wolf:I'm sorry I-
Kipo:How could you?
Wolf then does something that NO one would expect, she breaks down into tears "I WAS AFRAID OF LOSING YOU!" She then stands up and continues "I was afraid because when you go back underground that would be it! All this, us, would be over!" She turns to the wall "We'll go our... our separate ways"
This shocks everyone even Y/N who starts to chuckle gaining everyone's attention, those chuckles then turn into pure laughter "Is that it? You afraid that after this whole thing was all said and done that that would be it? When Kipo tried to get you to join the burrow, when you could easily just not go somewhere else afterwards? Benson and Dave accept that offer with open arms. They love the idea of burrow life, but instead of thinking about what that would be like yourself, you go behind Kipo's back and try to keep her on the surface longer, which in turn risks her life, and could most definitely get her killed like we all almost were today, and your saying your afraid of losing her? Do you know how stupid that sounds?" Wolf is about to reply but Y/N interrupts "Nah don't speak, I don't wanna hear it, I don't wanna hear that "I don't do well with people" bullshit because I know that's what your gonna use! How about you try something called facing your fears, as in grow a spine and face you fear of people!" Wolf wants to argue but knows she can't, she just looks at the ground and is then brought into a hug by Kipo and cries into the pink teens shoulders
Dave:Oh I remember now the Parts Etc store! You should've seen-
Before he could continue a kunai was thrown at his head and then old Dave spawns out of his stomach
Benson:Was that really necess-
Y/N puts a finger to his mouth shushing him
Soon after Benson, Dave, Mandu, and Wolf are all asleep Y/N is keeping watch and Kipo is thinking about today's events until she goes up to Y/N "You OK?" she asks as Y/N turns around "I'm fine. I should be asking you that if anything given the circumstances" Kipo shakes her head "I'm OK... mostly" "Yeah not gonna lie it took everything I had not to punch Wolf for that" Y/N said in irritation "I nearly did too honestly" Kipo said shocking Y/N "You nearly punched her? That has to be a joke" Kipo shakes her head again "I was really hurt and angry... You also might have influenced me a bit" Y/N chuckles "Yeah I guess that's what you get for being around me for so long, not sure why you insisted on it in the first place" Kipo sits with them and grabs their face "Probably because you said you would help... and because I like being around you" Y/N looks to see if the others are asleep, (they are) they then grab Kipo's shoulders and throw their lips onto hers and she melts into it (stop it) they peel away after ten seconds and stare into each other's eyes in silence that Y/N breaks "You feeling better now?" Kipo nods and lays on their chest "Y/N?" "Yeah?" "I love you" Y/N didn't expect this but hugs and smiles at her "I love you too Kipo"
And with that we end this chapter, yeah this Kipo is influenced by you and so gets channels her inner fighter a littler earlier
Y'all should already know what to do at this point so yeah
