Chapter 14: Fight till the End
Jack
Darkness, that’s all I see. It was just like how Pitch found me. I feel someone touch my arm, so soft and gentle, I knew it was Elsa. “Stay behind me.” I say and pushed her behind me. “Jack, I can’t see anything…” I hear her behind me. I keep my hand on her arm; no way was Pitch going to take her from me. I move my right arm up and felt a staff come into my hand. I hold it front of me, waiting for an attack. That’s when I felt something hit me and knock me over.
“Jack!” I hear Elsa scream. I start to get up but I felt put their foot on me. I knew it was Pitch. “Poor little Jack can’t see in the dark?” He says and starts to push harder on my chest. “You can’t stop me Frost, I’m stronger then you. You are nothing without your light!” He yells and pushes harder; I swear his going to put his foot through my chest. I can feel my mind starting to shut down, my eyes starting to close. I raise my hand to throw ice but he wrapped his nightmares around my hands and pinned me down. I’m trapped.
Elsa… I’m so sorry… Before I feel my eyes closes, I see a bright light start to shine behind Pitch. The as the light starts to get brighter, I see Elsa stand in it. Elsa… She is my light. She looks at her hands and then at Pitch. She raises her hands, “Pitch!” She yells. Pitch turns right when Elsa hits him with some ice. “Get away from my boyfriend!” She yells as he hits a wall. The whole room is starting to glow; Pitch’s nightmares are slowly disappearing around us.
“Jack!” Elsa yells as she runs to me and helps me up. “Are you okay?” She ask, her eyes red from tears falling from her eyes. I can’t take my eyes off of her, she’s still glowing. “You are my light…” I whisper as I see black sand go past our heads. We look to see Pitch glaring at us. He looks like a mess, his skin more gray then before, and his hair all over the place. “This isn’t going to end like this. There is no one more powerful than me!” He yells and starts to throw more sand at us; I grab Elsa and pull her away, before it hits us.
“Jack, what are we going to do?” Elsa asks as she stays in my arms. I look down at her, “We have to work together, I’m stronger with light and you’re my light.” She smiles as she pulls out. She grabs my hand, “We can defeat him together.” I nod as we look at him. Pitch starts to laugh, “You really think you can defeat me? The King of Darkness? How pathetic you are!” I feel Elsa grab my hand tighter, “Ready?” I see her nod as we both raise our hand.
I see ice start to form around Elsa’s fingertips, I’ve never see her ice like this before, it was almost blue. “You will never have my Kingdom, and no one will ever be haunted by you ever again!” Elsa yells as we both shot ice at him. He starts to throw his black sand us but it just freezes and falls to the ground in ice. “No! No!” He yells as the ice hits him. It slowly starts to creep up his legs.
“No… This isn’t happening… Nothing can stop me! I’m the Boogeyman!” He yells before the ice covers his hold body. He stood frozen in the ballroom as the lights starts to turn back on. I feel my legs start to feel weak as me and Elsa both fall to the ground, both out of energy. I look around to see everyone was still in the ballroom; it was like they were all asleep or frozen in time.
“Jack… We did it.” Elsa says as she goes in my arms. I smile and kiss her on top of the head, “You did it Elsa… I would never be that strong without you.” “Elsa!” I hear as I see Anna start to run to us. “Anna!” Elsa yells back as Anna runs into Elsa arm on the ground. “I’m so happy you’re okay and that you’re back to yourself.” “I am so sorry for everything!” Elsa says as they pull back, both crying. We see people start to circle us, Kristoff helps Anna and Elsa up as I see Melody come over and help me up.
“Way to go Frost.” She says as I give her a hug. “Thank you for the help; I wouldn’t have gotten her back if it wasn’t you.” I see her blush away. “Well I wouldn’t of meet Henry.” I raise an eyebrow, “Henry?” She rolls her eyes and points. I look to see a young man, about her age with short brown hair. He looks over at us and waves. Melody blushes as she does a short wave back. “We’re going out tomorrow.” I smile and give her another hug, “I’m happy for you.” She smiles, “Thanks Frost.” She looks at Elsa, “Take care of her.” Melody kisses me on the cheek, “Take care Frost.” She says and walks away. “Take care Melody.” I say as I watch her walk away.
I feel someone wrap her arms around my shoulder. “What next Frost?” she asks with a sweet smile. I smile and pull her in front of me. “This.” I slowly kiss her; I feel her arms go around my neck. For once, I feel like life couldn’t get better.
Epilogue
Elsa
“Come on Elsa!” I hear as I skate over to Jack as he picks me up and holds me in the air. I love feeling his arms around my hips when we skate; it’s the most amazing feeling. He lowers me down and smiles. “Is this what you needed?” He asks. I nod as we keep skating. It’s been six months since my birthday, since I become Queen. Since then, Anna and Kristoff have gotten married, and are already having a baby soon. To tell the truth, I can’t wait to have a little baby running around our castle.
Our Kingdom has only gotten stronger since I become Queen, I feel like everyone is happier and healthier. Oh and Pitch, well… Let’s just say Melody found a sledgehammer… Oh and her and Henry are still dating, I guess they are getting serious. But it’s nice to see her happy. “Elsa, we have to go, we got dinner plans.” I hear breaking me thoughts. “Oh right. We better go.” I say and skate to the door.
I look at Jack, I can’t believe that after six months, I’ve only fallen in love with him more and more. One day I hope we’ll get married but I think right now, I need to worry about my kingdom. But I feel like his keeping something from me, I just don’t know what.
As we go to the door, I feel something behind me. I turn to see a man, in pure white looking at me and Jack. “Who are you and how did you get in here?” I ask holding my hands up. I see Jack turn and grab my hands, “Elsa, I know this man.” He says and walks over to him and shakes his hand. “It’s nice to see you found your light.” The man in white says and looks at me.
“Yeah, I have.” Jack says and walks over to me. “Elsa, this is the Man of the Moon, his was the reason I’m still… here.” I smile and shake his hand, “It’s nice to meet you.” The man smiles, “It’s nice to see you again.” I raise an eyebrow but he just laughs, “We’ve meet before. But that’s not why I’m here.” He turns to Jack, “Jack, we know the time will come that Elsa will… join her mother and father. And you’ll stay here on Earth.” I look at Jack, “You’re immortal?”
I hear Jack sigh, “I… I couldn’t tell you Elsa… It’s already hard to think I’m going to lose you.” I grab his hand and stroke his arm. “Well… You won’t have to.” I hear the man say. We both turn to him, “What do you mean?” “Jack, I want you to stay with Elsa till she joins her family, so I will make you mortal again and let you keep you powers if, you spear Winter around the world. Do we have a deal?”
I look at Jack to see a smile go his face as he shakes the Man’s hand. “Yes sir. I will make that deal.” The man smiles, “Then as today, you’re mortal, enjoy your life together.” And with that, his gone. I turn to Jack as he hugs me, “Now I can finally marry you.” I pull back as he gets on one knee, “Elsa, will you marry me?” I cover my mouth and just start to nod, I can’t find my words. But Jack knows as he puts the ring on my finger and picks me up and spins me. “I love you Jack.” I say as we touch foreheads. “I love you Elsa.” He says he kisses me, with all his love he can give me.
