She walked into the room. I didn't know her but I wanted to. She turned around. She moved her hair out of her eyes and looked at me. We made eye contact. She had me paralyzed as she started walking towards me.
"OMG you're Wesley Stromberg. Can I get a picture with you?" She took out her phone and held it in her hand.
"Yea sure." I stood up.
She gave Drew her phone. She stood next to me. I put my arm around her shoulder and smiled. He took like four pictures and gave her the phone.
"Can I get a picture with you two?" She gave them a smile.
"Yea sure." Drew and Keaton said.
She handed me her phone. She stood in the middle of Drew and Keaton.
I took four pictures and gave her back her phone.
"Thank you." She started walking towards her friends.
I stood there. I had a million things to say but nothing came out of my mouth. My hands started shaking, I tried to breath but I was frozen from the inside.
"Is he ok." Drew asked.
"I don't know." He waved his hand in front if my face. "Wesley"
She started walking towards the ice cream parlor.
I tried to talk but no words came into my mind, she had me tongue tied. I wanted to walk towards her but I was paralyzed.
"Come on Wesley lets go." Drew said. He grabbed my arm and dragged me outside.
★Days, weeks, and months later★
I looked at the picture Keaton had taken of me and well I didn't know her name. Now I have learned a lot. Never let a good thing slip away. I always looked back, regretting not telling her what I was going through.
I looked up. I couldn't believe my eyes. She was sitting by the fountain with some friends.
I'm not letting her go this time. I stood up and walked to her table.
"Come on Ashley lets go get ice cream." Her friend said when I got there.
"But I just had some." She responded.
She raised her eyebrows at Ashley.
"Oh I got you." They stood up and walked to the ice cream shop.
My hands started shaking. "Um....do ..." I took a deep breath. "Hi I'm Wesley."
"I know who you are. I'm Ally by the way." She responded.
"Do you mind if I sit down."
"Not at all."
I sat down. "Remember the day you took pictures with me and my band mates?"
She smiled. "How could I forget."
"Well that day....um ..I wanted to know if you would go out with me."
She tilted her head. "Yes."
I felt my phone vibrate. I took it out.
Drew: We have to go.
I typed the following:
I will be there in a minute. :Me
"I have to go." I stood up.
"oh ok." She looked at me.
I took out a piece of paper and wrote my number on it. "Call me."
She took it. "I will."
