Seonghwa was pacing around the apartment as Mingi, Jongho and San just stared at him.
Mingi: Hwa, you’re making me dizzy
San: Why are you so nervous?
Seonghwa: I’m getting married tomorrow
Jongho: Yeah, we know. You made us not see our boyfriends for a day. Do you know how much torture I’ve been in because I couldn’t see Yeosang today?
San: Me too. I miss Wooyoung
Mingi: I can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss Yunho too
Seonghwa: Guys! I’m getting married!
San: Do you not want to?
Mingi: You’re not going to cancel on Hongjoong are you?
Seonghwa: What? No! Of course not!
Jongho: Then what’s the problem?
Seonghwa: I don’t know. I’m scared
San: Why?
Seonghwa: Marriage is scary. Plus what if Hongjoong gets second thoughts? I can’t deal with him leaving
San: He’s not going to
Seonghwa: And what about the twins? What if they don’t like me?
Mingi: Hwa, you’re their dad. They will love you
Jongho: Yeah hyung. You take care of us so well so what’s the problem
Seonghwa: The problem is, you’re not a new born baby. You are an adult
San: But Hwa, you are amazing with Yeji so why are you scared to have your own?
Seonghwa: Because… because…
Mingi: You don’t have a reason Hwa. You’re going to be great
Seonghwa: Have any of you heard from you boyfriends yet?
San: Wooyoung texted me saying that they were going to bed
Seonghwa: That’s why Hongjoong hasn’t texted me back
Mingi: Yeah, probably
Jongho: When did he say that?
San: About 20 minutes ago
Seonghwa: Do you think Wooyoung would still be awake?
San: I don’t know, I’m not a physic
Seonghwa: Can you call him?
San: Why?
Seonghwa: I need to know how the twins are
San nodded before clicking onto Wooyoung’s contact and pressing the call button. A few rings later, a quiet voice spoke on the other end.
Wooyoung: Hello? Sannie?
San: Hey baby, did I wake you?
Wooyoung: No
San: Ok good. Are you ok?
Wooyoung: Yes, I just miss you
San: Me too baby
Wooyoung: Why did you call?
San: Ah, Seonghwa wanted to know how the twins are
Wooyoung: I think they’re fine. Everyone else is sleeping
San: So why are you still awake?
Wooyoung: I can’t sleep
San: Why not?
Wooyoung: Because you’re not here
San: I’m sorry baby but we’ll see each other tomorrow and I can give you as many cuddles as you want, ok?
Wooyoung: Ok Sannie
San: Make sure to get some sleep. I love you
Wooyoung: I love you too
San: Goodnight baby
Wooyoung: Night Sannie
The call came to an end and San looked up to Seonghwa who had a worried expression on his face.
Seonghwa: What did he say?
San: He said the twins are fine and that everyone is asleep
Seonghwa: Ok
Seonghwa sat down as he bent his head back, resting it on the back of the sofa. There was a sudden knock on the door and they all looked at each other in confusion.
Jongho: Who would come here in the middle of the night?
Mingi: We’re not expecting anyone are we?
San shook his head as he opened the door.
San: Bambam hyung! Why are you here?
Bambam: Nice to see you too San.
San: Ah, come in
San stepped aside as Bambam entered the apartment, smiling at the others.
Bambam: I heard Seonghwa’s getting married tomorrow
Seonghwa: Yeah, I am
Bambam: Congrats dude
Mingi: Why are you here in the middle of the night?
Bambam: I was just on the area so I thought I’d come and see how you all were. Where are the other by the way?
Jongho: They’re at Wooyoung’s sister’s house
Bambam: Ahh. How are you all? Any good news?
Jongho: Yeosang’s pregnant and Mingi and Yunho are finally together
Bambam: Congrats! Oh… I also heard about what happened a few weeks ago
Mingi: And what would that be?
Bambam: Yeosang’s miscarriage
Jongho sighed and looked down at the floor. He was still upset about that but he knew there was nothing he could do about it. All he could do was hope for the future and hope that the baby would survive this time.
Bambam: Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you Jongho
Jongho: Don’t worry about it
Bambam: How are the twins?
Seonghwa: They’re good
Bambam: Are you excited to be a dad?
Seonghwa: Yeah, just a little nervous
Bambam: That’s understandable. Anyway, San, have you spoken to Kun at all?
San: Kun is dead
Bambam: I’m guessing no then
San: How long did you know he was alive for?
Bambam: About a week before you did. Trust me, I couldn’t belive it either
San: How about you. Have you spoken to him?
Bambam: Nope. He completely disappeared the other day. He said he had to go somewhere and I haven’t heard from him since
San: He’s probably going to see his father
Bambam: His? Not our?
San: I already told you, I don’t have a father
Bambam: Ok
Bambam gave a little smile to everybody before he put on his coat.
Bambam: I should get going. You need to sleep so you have enough energy to get married
San: Ok. See you later hyung
Bambam: Bye guys!
Bambam exited the apartment and the 4 boys were alone once again. They all turned to look at San who just rolled his eyes at them.
San: Don’t even
They all nodded their heads as they talked a little more about things that didn’t involve Kun. San was happy that they decided against asking him questions whereas Mingi was worried about San. They all knew how hard it was for him when Kun ‘died’ so they also knew how hard it was for his brother to show up claiming that he had found their dad. Mingi sighed as he sat back but this went unnoticed by the others.
They watched a short movie and when they checked the time, the clock showed that it was 11pm. They decided to go to bed so they would have enough energy for tomorrow’s activities. Most of them slept peacefully but Seonghwa slept with worry. He knew he loved Hongjoong a lot but he just didn’t want to ruin their relationship. He was scared that he would do something that would hurt either Hongjoong or his babies.
