"My mom is no more! "
"What? I mean how that happened? " - Taehyung asked.
"She died two years ago. Someone shot her in our house. " - with this you start crying.
Taehyung knows that your mom mean a lot to you. Your father left you and your mom, she was the one who nurture you with all her love and support. She didn't let any lack in her upbringing.
He first met her when he was dating Y/n. First he thought that she would be any other mom like disliking him first or telling her not to date him. But she was all opposite. Y/n's mom gave him the love that he always wanted. This news made him sad more than shocked. No wonder why Y/n is crying so hard.
Tears start building in his eyes but he somehow manage to control them. He hold your cheeks and wipe your tears. He look straight at your eyes.
"I promise you y/n, from now I will protect you from everything. I might have failed the promise that I gave to auntie but now I'll not. I just want to give a chance to me...... a last chance. "
Y/n look straight into his eyes. She can feel the genuineness and sincerity in his eyes. All your heart told you to believe in him.... Give him a chance. But then suddenly the pictures of past run through your mind. You don't want to get hurt once again. Your heart will not take it anymore.
You two were lost in each other's eyes... Face only a few centimetres away. But suddenly you got startled as the someone unlocked the door. You pushed back him from you and wipe your tears.
The door opened showing the reception Lia and Jimin. You were quite surprised to see Jimin. You hurriedly grab your bag. You grab Jimin's hand and leave as quickly as possible.
Taehyung was still on the floor. Everything happened so fast that he didn't have a chance to do anything... To stop you from going.
"Sir, the door was jammed .. So I..... "- Shin try to explain but got cut off by him.
" Leave! "- he said to her. " But sir.....! " "I really appreciate your help but now just leave! "
Lia nodded at him and left the scene. Taehyung didn't know how to do. His heart felt so heavy. He lean against the wall and let the tears fall from his eyes.
Meanwhile in the car, Y/n try her best to not to show her emotions to Jimin. But Jimin sensed everything.
"What did he do? "- he asked her angrily.
" Who? "
"That damn teacher of yours. "
"Taehyung?.... No, he didn't did anything to me."
"Then what happened inside the class? Why was he on the floor and why were you crying? "
"Nothing.. We just talk about... "
"About what? "
"Mom.. "- you answered him calmly. Jimin didn't ask any questions further. The ride become silent and no one dare to break the ice.
" Jimin... " You called out his name and he hummed in response.
"It's coming! "- you said to him. " I know. Don't worry I'll handle everything."
"Jimin, I don't know why but this year I don't want to do it."Jimin stared at you questionly. "I feeling so tense only by thinking about the day."Jimim chuckled at your answer. "Don't worry about that much. Leave it to me. By the way, where do you want to go?"
"Cafe, of course." "I thought we could have a little date."- he said whinningly. You chuckle a bit at his childish behaviour. "We can have the little date in our cafe too. Also, our drinks are the best."- you show him a thumbs up. He honked twice excitedly like a child.
Soon after you reach cafe "Mocha And Mochi". You went behind the counter in order to make coffee for both of you. You soon encountered with Minji and ask her to join but she politely refuse. You grab some some cookies and went towards the table where Jimin was standing.
" Here's your latte. "- you said while handing him his drink and you both started your random talk.
The weather was chill - perfect to enjoy it fully. Jimin sure spend money and energy to make this cafe so that everyone can enjoy their precious time here.
You still remember the day when you stopped by the cafe to grab a coffee and recognised by him. Soon after he offered you work with you as a old friend and someone who he can relay. You were quite surprised that he know you from the college days but didn't remember you dating Taehyung. Jimin was the one who take care of you after your mother's death. He is indeed someone very close to you.
But you stopped talking abruptly as the door dinged as someone entered the cafe. Your eyes widened as you saw the figure standing in front of you.
" Aren't you Y/n's teacher? What was the name? Um... Yes.. Taehyung! Welcome to our cafe! What do you want? "- Jimin exclaimed genuinely.
" I would like to order an iced Americano! "- he said while looking at you.
" I'll just make one since Minji is out."- you said and left the scene.
"Taehyung, please sit with me! "- Jimin said and Taehyung sat the place where you were sitting before.
" Actually, Y/n told me! "- Jimin said that make Taehyung gulp.
" About what? "- he managed to say.
" That you guys talked about mom. " Taehyung let out his breath and nodded.
"I don't know what she has told you but it's my responsibility to make thing clear. Mrs. Chen was someone very special and close to her. I don't know how she talk about a unknown person like you about things that she won't tell anyone. "- he paused a little bit. " I didn't mean to mock you but you are his mere teacher whom she met only on weekends but still.. I just want to tell you that auntie's death anniversary is coming and I don't know if Y/n will told you but I want you to come so that you will help her to cheer. Will you come? "
Taehyung can't spill truth in front of Jimin. "I will come for sure. Can I know when it is? "
"It's on XX, this month! "- as he answered him you came with his drink.
" What you guys are talking? " "Nothing just random stuff. I was asking him if you are doing good or just shitting over. " - he said playful only to get a sulky slap on his back.
But Taehyung's mind was somewhere else calculating things. "XX of this month and she died three years ago. That means it's the same day when me and Y/n broke up! "

I love how everything is connecting slowly. Also I want to clear one thing. I surely write smuts but you will find story in between. If you guys come to read this book only to read the smut chapter then I think you should stop right here. As a reader, you all know that I'm not a regular updates but I did update time to time.
Also the main reason I was late in update it is because I was watching a horror series and I just wrote it after finishing it. It's 1:38 Am right now.
