"Can I see your eyes?" Kendall asked quietly. She had just found out about the supernatural after she was saved by Scott McCall.
Malia looked up at her girlfriend, nodding slowly. Her eyes squeezed shut before opening slowly, her warm brown eyes being replaced with glowing blue ones. Kendall gasped, her heart rate rising. Malia looked back down, her eyes returning to normal.
Kendall frowned, knowing what her girlfriend was thinking. "I'm not going to leave you, Malia," she stated. The werecoyote shook her head, tightening her jaw.
"Why the hell not? I'm a monster, Kendall!" she exclaimed. Kendall grabbed the sides of Malia's face, forcing her to look straight into her eyes.
"You are not a monster, Malia. And I'm sure as hell not leaving the best thing that has ever happened to me."
Malia smashed her lips to Kendall's, taking the human by surprise. She quickly adjusted, wrapping her arms around her girlfriend's waist.
As the couple lay in bed that night, Kendall whispered something in Malia's ear.
"Remember, Love. You're not a monster."
A small smile graced Malia's angelic face as she kissed her girlfriend's head.
