It was 36 years after the Mahabharat war, the emperor of Aryavart was sitting in his chamber on the swing, tomorrow was his grandson's (brother's grandson) coronation, they have lately heard the news of their lord, guide and saviour had left them forever, The emperor, his brothers and their love had decided to reconcile, they wanted to meet Shri Krishna in heaven.
The emperor of Aryavart, the son of the God of death, who's known to be the epitome of Dharma, the calm, and serene son of Preetha, the eldest of the Pandav brothers, the proud father of two great warrior sons Prathivindhya and Yaudheya and a beautiful responsible daughter Suthanu, the famous Maharaj Yudhishtra was deep in his thoughts.
The king's thought were disturbed when he felt two soft and delicate hands around his neck, he recognised his beloved immediately and smiled widely...
"won't the queen get a little place near her king ??" The lady asked
She was none other than the empress of Aryavart, the daughter of king Drupad, the princess of Panchal, the pampered princess of the Panchal princes, the wife of the Pandav brothers and the mother of the Upapandav brothers, the fire born princess, Agni Kanya Draupadi.
Yudhishtra - sure my darling !!
She sat near him on the swing...
The maids came and gave a plate of food to Draupadi...
Draupadi - so ?? What has kept my Arya so busy, that he did not even bother to come and have his dinner
He chuckled and pecked her cheeks to which her cheeks turned crimson red in response
Yudhishtra - so many years since we've married still you look as young as then, and blush like a new bride
She blushed even more listening to him
Draupadi - ok Arya !! I've brought food for you
Yudhishtra - will the king be lucky enough to be fed by his sweetheart today ??
Draupadi - sure !! Why not ??
She took the plate of food and started feeding him...
After he finished eating, Yudhishtra laid his head on Draupadi's lap and smiled as she ran her hands through his hair...
He turned and nuzzled her stomach making her shiver as she turned crimson red making him smirk and chuckle
Draupadi - Arya
Yudhishtra - yes priye
Draupadi - Arya !! Do you remember this day long long ago ??
Yudhishtra - (sighs) how will I forget dear ?? This was one of the best day in life, when you handed over our little bundle of joy in my hands
He got up and took her in a bone crushing hug as she started crying very badly, Yudhishtra wanted to console her but he himself was a crying mess
What do you think happened to them ???
Yeah !! It was their little Prathi's b'day, their little bundle of joy, the symbol of their love, their world...
"But why him Arya ?? What sin did my son do ?? Why did Yamraj take his life ?? Instead he could have taken my life" Draupadi cried
"Nothing priye, our Prathi didn't do any sin, he is happy in heaven priye, we can meet him soon, I promise" said Yudhishtra in a cold voice
The couple gave a sad smile thinking about their flashback...
Flashback :-
Draupadi was walking here and there in her room with her hands on her 9 month baby bump, she was waiting for her Arya
She invited him 6-7 times but every time he was busy with his ministers so he couldn't give importance to his pregnant wife
The door opened and the king entered...
Draupadi - you got time for me atlast Arya ?? Or will your ministers come and spoil our privacy time now also ??
She said and pouted making him chuckle at her...
He went near her, caught her wrist and rolled her into his arms slowly and carefully minding not to hurt his pregnant wife...
He pecked her pouted lips making her bite her lips in embarrassment which made him chuckle at her
Yudhishtra - you know naa, I have a lot of work...
Draupadi - hmmm but you also know naa, that I need you in this point of time, I'm scared Arya I'm not born from my mother's womb and people say we've to bear a lot of pain during giving birth
Yudhishtra - why are you scared ?? I'm there for you priye, don't worry...
Draupadi - Arya !!
Yudhishtra - yes my love
Draupadi - what if I di... (Before she could finish the word "die" he slammed his lips against hers making her quite
The couple were lost in their kiss but their trance was broken when the baby in Draupadi womb kicked which was felt by both as they were hugging each other....
(The baby needs attention 🤣🤣)
They both giggled and broke the kiss
Yudhishtra - don't even dare to say that word (die) again, do you even know how precious you are to me ??
The baby again kicked making the couple realise that he/she needs attention...
Yudhishtra knelt before Draupadi and kept his hands on her baby bump and kissed it...
Yudhishtra - apple of my eyes, my baby prince I know I couldn't spend more time with you and your mother at this special time of life as I'm busy baby, but that doesn't mean I love you both less, you both are the reason for my happiness.....
The baby kicked again as if listening to his/her father, making them giggle again
Draupadi - wait wait !! You said baby prince !! How do you know whether it's a boy or girl arya ??
Yudhishtra - father sense
(He replied in a proud voice making her giggle)
Suddenly she widened her eyes as she felt a sharp pain
"Ahhh aryaaaaaa" she shouted making Yudhishtra nervous as he instantly understood that she has got labour pain
He abruptly made her lie on the bed and ordered the maids to call Daima and the others
"Shhh priye everything is alright" he assured her as he rubbed her cold palms
Daima came and asked him to go out
He hesitated for a while but then went out near his brothers
All the Pandav brothers has tears in their eyes after hearing her shout in pain
Strong warriors they were but one single whimper from this girl made them fall on their knees
After a long struggle the cries of a baby filled the corridor making everyone give a teary chuckle...
Daima came with a cute baby in her hands and handed him to the king,
"Prince" said Daima making everyone smile
Yudhishtra hugged his son as a new feeling arose inside him...
He wiped his tears and everyone took turns to carry the baby
Yudhishtra - Draupadi ??
Daima - Maharani needs rest Maharaj
Kunti - Yudhishtra !! Name him putr
Yudhishtra - my son is capable of bearing the weapons of the enemies like the vindhya mountains and so he will be called "PRATHIVINDHYA"

The four younger Pandav brothers were fighting to carry the baby
Kunti ordered them to go and sleep as it was mid night, the brothers unwillingly left the baby
Yudhishtra's happiness knew no bounds, he sat playing with his son
A whimper left Panchali's mouth catching Yudhishtra's attention...
He happily handed over the baby in his wife's arms...
She kissed her baby's forehead
Draupadi - our baby boy Arya...
Yudhishtra - yes priye the symbol of our love...
Flashback ends
Yudhishtra - you were the precious gift god gave to me and you gave me many precious gifts especially two of those were my happiness and joy
Draupadi - I gave you ??

Yudhishtra - the symbols of our love, mixtures of you and me, our little bundles of joy Prathi & Thanu
The parents sighed thinking about their children....
"But I failed as a husband and a father" said Yudhishtra making Draupadi look at him in utter shock
"What do you mean Arya ??" Asked Draupadi
"Yes priye, I failed as a husband in dyut sabha" he said in the verge of tears
"That was destined Arya and you are faultless, if not for that day we wouldn't have been able to sow the seeds of Dharma, remember Govind said that all 6 of us were born for Dharmstapna ??" She said making him nod his head
"as a father you never failed pithashree" came a voice.....
Yudhishtra and Draupadi turned to see their little Suthanu in white robes...
Yeah, their daughter was a widow, the Yadav clan was destroyed and Bhanu, Suthanu's husband passed away and the ladies and children were brought to Hastinapur by Arjun as instructed by GOVIND
The couple again turned pale looking at their daughter's condition
Suthanu - yes pithashree !! You never failed as a father !! Bhratha Prathi usually tells me when we were in Panchal that you were the best father in the world we both could ask for and that is the truth pithashree, why will I lie ?? Afterall I'm the daughter of Dharmraj himself
Her words made her parents give a teary chuckle
Suthanu went away from there not being able to control her tears, she got reminded of her brother who loved her even more than his life
The couple embraced each other and stayed like that not bothering about the running time for this was the only way for them to find solace.....
