After the events of last night, Elijah is not fond of leaving me alone, so I enter one of the rooms of the compound with Nik.
"Ugh is this what it's come to? I bear the full weight of our Kingdom while you pout like a child" Nik tells Marcel. Come on Mar, you know Divina wouldn't want you to do this I think giving him a concerned look
"You wanted to be King. Besides, you look like you got it covered" He says glaring at me
"If the men see you shirk your duties, they're likely to do the same," Niklaus says
"I told you, I am not in the mood for vampire hijinks," Marcel says
"No. You'd rather sit wallowing in sorrow for your lost little friend," Niklaus says, then Marcel got up and pointed at Niklaus.
"Don't push me right now," Marcel tells Niklaus without giving me a second glance.
"I'm sorry Divina is gone, ok? I'm sorry but this mournful attitude is unworthy of you, and it's boring to me" Klaus says oh fuck you, Klaus, I think he then glares daggers into me yeah, I said it do something I think he turns his attention back to Marcel. Just then Diego walked in and we all turned our attention to him.
"Hey guys we got a problem" Diego informs us
Diego leads us to the cauldron
"We came to mess with the witches, just like you said. And these two, they went missing. Found them like this, not even staked. Just dead" Diego informs us
"That's two more of my guys gone. Nice job, Captain." Marcel tells Klaus he then pulls up his hood and starts to walk away.
"Where are you going?" I ask Marcel
"Someone has to account for this!" Klaus says
"You want revenge, get it yourself. That mark is tied to some bad mojo. Any of y'all got any brains, you'll head back to the compound and stay the hell out of this." Marcel informs us oh hell no if this thing got bad mojo I'm getting the hell out of here. I think don't worry Klaus I'm just going to Elijah no need to worry I think, He doesn't say anything as I walk away so I assume he's heard my thoughts so I look over to him, and nods towards me letting me know I was right.
I stood beside Elijah, our hands intertwined as we spoke to the vampires.
"Ah! Someone will die for this" Niklaus says.
"Remarkably, I don't disagree," Elijah says
"I would like to know where they learned such dark magic," I say
"I had hoped never to see that symbol again. I recall it is the signature of a fool who once stood against us." Klaus says
" Clearly, some upstart witch is salvaging old tricks." Elijah states
"I'll do for him as I did the other. Diego, when night falls, I want you to gather every vampire in the Quarter. Get me the head of whoever did this and put it on a stick." Niklaus tells Diego
"Yeah. That's gonna be a problem. Everyone is freaked out, man. We haven't had witches killing vampires in a long time. Marcel made sure of that" Diego tells Klaus
"Marcel has run off like a scared child. You lot are left with me. Now, who of you will fight to defend our home? Not a single one of you will stand with me, so afraid are you of this new threat? You should know better. I'll handle this myself." Niklaus says and then he storms off.
"There you are," I tell Hayley
"Here I am."She says
"Davina's drawings," Elijah says gesturing the sketches
" Yeah. Morbid, I know. I was just thinking, we never figured out why she drew those pictures of Celeste. Anyway, I'm just killing time, now that I'm on vampire lockdown." Hayley says I tell Elijah I'm going to my room, then I walk out of the room
3rd POV
"Whoever did this, we will deal with them. It won't belong." Elijah says
"I'm not worried. Just think it's kind of funny that it took some big, supernatural threat for you to even come into the same room as me." Hayley
"I do apologize if you feel neglected. I have been occupied. My siblings are in some quarrel. Niklaus remains agitated. You'll recall that even our slightest interactions seem to infuriate him. HAYLEY: So Klaus is a dick, and you want to be a good big brother. So we can't hang out. That sum it up? I get it, Elijah. It just seems like a really crappy deal."
Hailey's POV
I, Elijah, and Hayley were in the courtyard me and Hayley watched as Elijah tried to call Rebekah
"Rebekah is not answering her calls," Elijah informs us
"You worried about whoever killed those daywalkers still being out there?" I ask Elijah
"Frankly, I'm worried that she had something to do with this. She's very displeased with Niklaus, perhaps even conspiring with others." Elijah tells me and honestly, I'm wondering the same thing. Elijah smiles reassuringly and takes his hand into mine. Elijah then walked over to Thierry and had a conversation with him I didn't pay much attention to until I heard them say something about Rebekah being in trouble.
"I'm coming with you," Hayley said
"Me too," I tell Elijah
"No. You two stay here. The compound is safe." Elijah tells us
"Rebekah is in trouble. we're going." Hayley tells Elijah, Elijah sighs
"You two do not leave my sight. Understand?" Elijah says, we both nod our heads yes and then leave for the docks.
We arrive at where Rebekah's body was left and immediately run toward her. Elijah is also on the phone with Sophie, who is still with the other body
"Rebekah!" Elijah states, and he goes to kneel next to her, but can't cross the barrier made by the salt, so I put my hand on his back as a way to comfort him
" Oh, what's happening?" Hayley asks, quite frankly I was wondering the same thing but assumed it was a boundary spell.
" Some kind of boundary spell. Someone is channeling her. Typically, it's a lethal process, but, because she's an Original, she can't die. Instead, she's an endless source of power." Elijah informs us
" So what are we supposed to do?" I ask him
"You have to get her out of there." He tells us
"You're not listening. We cannot enter the circle. There's some kind of confinement spell... If I can't remove her, we can't break the link." He tells Sophie
" It's a convoluted spell. It's like a witch's recipe. You can spoil the balance by adding a more potent ingredient. A mystical binding agent. I don't know, volcanic ash, rock salt...anything up to and including the eye of newt."Sophie informs us
"What about the blood of a witch?" Elijah asks and I look at him curiously
"Do you have the blood of a witch?" Sophie asks confused
"I need a favor." He says turning to Hayley
"The baby," I say quietly now realizing what he meant
"She's a quarter witch," Hayley says giving Elijah her wrist, and he gingerly bites it to draw blood. They walk towards the magic circle together. Elijah holds out Hayley's wrist and lets the blood fall on the magic boundary line. It starts to fizzle and deteriorate. Elijah is able to get through, and he quickly picks up Rebekah and takes her out of the circle. He reaches for me and Hayley's hand, and then he speeds vamps out of there with us in Tow.
I, Elijah, and Rebekah were in an Alleyway, and well to say Rebekah was angry with Thiery would be an understatement.
Elijah speeds up to Thierry and snaps his neck
"Oh, I asked you to cease these petty moves against our family, and yet you conspire with this fool. Is this what it's come to, making moves against your own blood?" Elijah asks Rebekah
" Don't you try and shame me. Nik grows more powerful by the day, and you do nothing but encourage him." Rebekah tells Elijah, I don't say anything mostly because I don't want to get in the middle of a sibling fight.
"I offer him, my counsel because it's clear to me that he needs to make the city our home. Now, perhaps leading these derelicts will curb some of these impulses, granting him some degree of happiness." Elijah tells Rebekah
"You always talk of Nik's happiness. Over 1,000 years, he has robbed me of any chance at my own. What about me, Elijah? Am I not a concern for you?" Rebekah asks Elijah
"We all make sacrifices in the name of this family, Rebekah, but know this. I will never stand against you or Niklaus." Elijah tells Rebekah
"What about Hayley? Nothing I conspire to do, none of my treacheries will harm this family as much as your feelings for her. You're a hypocrite, Elijah. You would choose love over family and then condemn me for doing the same." Rebekah says to Elijah, I straighten up at this
"What does she mean 'your feelings for Hayley'?" I ask Elijah, they both then turn to me as Elijah looks down
"You haven't told her, huh, and here I thought you loved her," Rebekah says to Elijah
"Elijah?" I asked him tears threatening to form in my eyes, He tried to take my hand in his but I pulled it away and took Rebekah's and she sped me to my room and then to where she was meant to be.
Niklaus POV
I walked into the compound only to hear sobs. I used my vampire speed to go up to Hailey's room to see her sobbing her eyes out and hugging herself. I walked into the room to make my presence known she ran up to me and hugged me sobbing even more. My anger boiled as the person I considered my sister sobbed into my arms, however, did this will pay! I take her chin in hand and make her look at me.
"Who did this?" I asked her as she looked at me with puffy and red eyes.
" E - E - Elijah," she said in barely a whisper, my anger boiled as I learned it was my own brother who did this to her, the one who was supposed to love her, I sped her to her bed and laid her down.
"Sleep, you'll need your strength," I tell her stroking her hair, she nodded and just like that fell asleep.

Jane, Joseph, and Charles turned over towards Eka(Diego) "We have a problem" he said then they started to walk towards him but Jane tripped but Joseph caught her by the arm and they started laughing" fuck, only me" Jane said, "Are you ok?" Charles asked her and she nodded "yeah, I'm good," Jane said.
