as soon as they got there the twins gave away their trunks and pulled their mom and godmom every which way to find ricky. when they found him he was talking with arya and with his family and the weaselys.
"RICKY" the two yelled in sync getting all of the people theres attention.
"hey..?" he said confused, questioning why they were yelling.
the two took a minute to catch their breath answering before "watch them" kat said not bothering to give an explanation before grabbing her brothers hand and running through the crowd.
celeste turned to ricky "do you know what they're doing"
"nope but happy birthday ms celeste" she gave him a grin and nod of gratitude.
the marauders tuned out the conversation and were hypnotized by the fact the brown haired girl looked so much like the late euphermia potter. james the first one to snap out his trance spoke up "happy birthday scamander. i didn't know you had kids" he admitted with his eyebrows furrowed.
"yep" celeste replied popping the p "twins they're 15" nodding her head giving arnold a slight glare before turning her face neutral.
"i know the twins, kat bloody scares me" ron admitted all of the kids nodding their heads in agreement.
"yeah shes scary but their both my best friends" ricky shrugged.
arya nodded before grabbing celsete in a hug. kat and arya were extremely close it was as if they were siblings. she knew celeste very well and celeste felt as though she was another mom to her. so celeste immediately reacted by giving her a hug right back.
arnold face was in panic something all the adults besides celeste and maggie picked up on. remus nudged him causing him to snap out of his panic "what's wrong?" remus whispered to arnold.
"i think her kids are also mine" he whispered to remus however it was loud enough for all the adults to hear and once again celeste and maggie didn't hear. james head snapped up and had excitement written all over his face at the thought of having a niece and nephew.
his excitement and arnolds panic turned into confusion when a random chair came and pulled celeste into a seat and dragged her over to a random part of the platform. they all ran after her but stopped when random smoke came.
"what. the. hell" ginny and lily spoke at the same time.
when they heard hushed arguing they looked around for the corporate. when they found nothing they saw the wall change and start flashing pictures of celeste through the years.
the pictures varied from when she was a little girl in america to her being pregnant with the twins to pictures with maggie and her older brother who was living in america with his wife and son rolf to recent pictures of her and her in her hogwarts uniform.
celsete felt extremely choked up. she knew the twins were behind it and it made it so much better that her babies did it just for her. arnold felt guilty, guilty this was possibly the mother of his children and he just left her. he looked down to see the tears in celsete eyes threatening to spill out.
that was enough to make him let out a shaky sigh. it made him go over everything like -if i was actually there would they do the same on my birthday? would celeste and i be together if i stayed? he was so wrapped up in his own thoughts he didn't realize the slideshow was over and his children we're running over to give their mom a large hug.
"thank you, you two" celeste said giving them a kiss on their foreheads.
"it was my idea so i think i should be the favorite kid forever" beau said raising his hand.
"oh piss off my idea was great you were just nervous to do it" kat snarked to him.
"yes, because everyone wants to hang from a piece of fabric in the middle of a platform" beau said sarcastically.
"they should this school year means no more being pussy's" kat said pumping her hand in the air.
turning around she saw arya staring at her in amusement and ran to her pulling her into a large hug.
arya and kat were two peas in a rather dumb pod. the two liked to call themselves baddies with no daddies due to the fact mr zabini was dead and kat had no clue who hers was. they met in 1st year because the scamander and the zabinis were the only twins of their year. after they found that out they've been best friends. even though mrs zabini didn't associate with "blood traitor" she had a soft spot for kat and didn't break up their friendship. blaise who was never seen on a friendly basis with anyone other then slytherins would protect the scamander twins and luna with his life.
"dude how the hell have you been" kat asked with giddiness in her tone.
"ive been good besides the fact that blaise and miss pugsy are now a couple" arya gossiped looking disgusted.
"miss racist? didn't she bash angelicas hair like it was a problem when it's literally normal" kat gasped utterly baffled at the thought would date a known racist as a poc.
"mhm" arya hummed.
"that's fucking disgusting" beau intervened. making all the children who were shamelessly ease dropping nod their heads.
"speak of the devil" ricky said pointing pansy who was working her way over to where the group of people were standing.
kat clenched her jaw a fire in her eyes reserved for the one and only pugsy parkison. pansy and kat were known for their arguments ones kat and pansy received many detentions. but on thing was for sure pansy was 100% put in slytherin because she had tons of ambition for testing kat's nerves.
"hello kat" she said spitting her name like venom.
but kat kept a straight face "hi pugsy" kat said blankly.
pansy didn't do anything but turned to beau "hello fa-" she didn't get the chance to finish because kat held up her hand in front of her face.
"don't even try it"
the adults there who had no idea of their mutual hatred, just watched.
"now go turn around and just shut your mouth for the love of merlin" kat sighed already annoyed going into the 5th school year. pansy huffed loudly but didn't leave only this time kat didn't pay her any mind. making her leave angrily.
"good job not losing your temper" celeste complemented.
"thanks" kat grinned. when she looked at the time she realized it was time to get on the train.
"oh shit bye mommy love you" she said giving her mom a tight hug before waiting for her brother to give her mom one before running off to the train with her brothers and best friends.
celeste turned to the potter family and co. "well it was nice seeing you" she said blankly before turning around and leaving with maggie.
arnold ran after her to where she was going "are they mine" he asked desperately.
celsete whipped around "yes" she simply answered.
arnold's jaw went a slack "why didn't you tell me" he asked.
celsetes face went red with fury and maggie had a worried look on her. "did you just ask me what i think you did" she asked loudly. arnold thought saying something would get his head snatched off so he merely nodded.
"i sent you owls from the moment i found out. i tried to find you for years. but no you never answered you always avoided me so don't you ever disrespect me again. i was there when they were both diagnosed with bipolar disorder. i was there when they asked who's daddy. i had to be both mom and daddy at the age of 21, while you were living off your nephews success so fuck off and leave me and my children alone" she stated fiercely tears ready to fall out but she refused to let them while jabbing her finger in his chest with every sentence.
she looked at him through watery eyes "don't you ever, ever in your life disrespect me like that again" she finished before grabbing some floo powder and maggie's hand and yelling "SCAMANDER RESIDENCE"
leaving arnold with heavy heart and 15yrs of regret.
