Chapter 13

A normal day goes for everyone, as for Jisoo who was groaning on her room now while waiting for her food, thinking what should she do now, that everything based on her plan was ruined. Maybe, she's stuck here, forever.
She really hates the fact that she had sacrificed for that hwajin and her useless husband for nothing, atleast thankyou, she didn't heard any. For her sister-in-law, Jennie, she haven't seen her since she saved her husband from that darn punishment. Everyone got busy at the palace that's why they don't have time to hangout like they used to.
Chaeyoung entered the room with the meal with her, Jisoo sat up normally as the food she was waiting is finally here, grinning her teeth expecting the food to be delicious but then her smiles fall seeing the food in front of her
"Did the royal chef cooked this?" She asks disappointedly, chaeyoung nod as a respond and then, that's it. That's when Jisoo stood up and make her way to the royal cuisine
Chaeyoung just follows her confusedly, however, she didn't bothered to asks, she already knew what's running on her mind and she can't stop her for freaking god.
As they reach the area, Jisoo opened the royal cuisine main door with a little force as it fell to ground spreading some dust, she just broke the royal cuisine's door. She didn't expect that too, she didn't push it with too much force,
"What kind of door is this? No one ever attempt to mend this?" She asks in annoyance but no one ever answer her as they were shock to see the Queen all her way to them, to the royal cuisine, "Nevermind. Anyway, who's the royal head chef here?"
With her question, people around were looking at each other not knowing how to answer, but then a man who's wearing an archaic outfit of a chef, stepped in infront of her, as he bowed, saying,
"I am the head chef here, your highness. What can I do for you?" Politely, but then, Jisoo didn't greet him gratefully, as she was annoyed "You're the one who cooked my foods?"
Baekhyun smiles before answering as he expect the Queen to give him a compliment, "Yes, I am, Your highness. Let me introduce myself to you, I am Byun Baekhyun, I am working here since I was 15 years old and--"
Jisoo didn't let him finished his words as she spoke, "Enough, enough. I'm here to complain about the way how you cook"
"What?" Baekhyun asks as he thought he just misheard it or something, but then, Jisoo replies directly, "I'm going to cook my own food from now on."
With that, she walks toward the kitchen, and started to searching for some ingredients, baehyun tries to stop her but it's no use, chaeyoung didn't stop her either, she wouldn't listen, anyway.
"Your highness, you shouldn't came here. You're not allowed here, only the royal chef's can enter here--"
"Shut up, stop talking I can't focus here. You better watch and learn because I'm going to cook a food that you've never seen nor taste before" She cut him off trying yo focus on what she was doing
"What are you going to make, your highness?" Chaeyoung asks cautiously, as jisoo tilted before replying, "Ramyeon." Chaeyoung nod even through she can't understand what she was saying, she would have just watch her.
Even through that food would take some time to make because they have noodles here and she have to make some. It was nothing for her, it's just a piece of cake, however, she would do everything just to taste a ramyeon again, she would.
As for the Royal Chef Baekhyun, he gave up, he's been stopping the Queen from what she was planning but it's no used, she's just acting as if she didn't heard anything, he's done, he's so done, sitting on a corner, completely pissed off.

After some few hour of waiting, her food is finally cooked, she's been craving for this the whole time. Baekhyn look at her arrogantly as if her food taste bad, but then, after smelling it, he feels like he wanted to try some to, but he's hiding the fact that it smells and taste so good.
She grabbed some chopstick to try some, and her skills never fail to fill up her eager stomach. Chaeyoung can't deny that the food that jisoo cooked smells so good, she licked her lips as if she wanted to taste some
Jisoo noticed her as she called her and ask, "Wanna try some?" with that, not even answering, Chaeyoung grabbed a chopstick as she attacked her food, leaving jisoo in surprise,however, she did not even bother to ask as she already knew that Chaeyoung is Chaeyoung.
Baekhyung staring at them at the corner wanna try some too, Jisoo noticed him but no, she rolls her eyes as she remembered baekhyun's stares earlier, clearly showing on his eyes that he's mentally insulting her food.

On the other hand, near the lake, here's jin and jungkook talking about some random things, everything went okay, their convo is okay so far, but then, when Jin bring up something, jungkook casual face earlier turned into an anxious one,
"Hey, I heard from Court Lady Park that you got into a fight with my sister the other day. What happened? Why did you fought with my sister, huh?"
With that, Jungkook don't know what to answer he would surely get a nice beat from his cousin, he thought that if he could change the topic into something interesting, Jin could forgot his question,
"I heard that the King didn't sleep with the Queen the other day. He sleeped with Court Noble, right?"
Chuckling at his own statement, not realizing jin stares at him, when he finally noticed in chocking on the air as he immediately avoid his gaze, both sister and brother are scary, he thought
"Can you please stop talking about that bastard? It's getting me pissed off, all people in the palace are talking about him and I'm so pissed off about it."
Jin annoyingly says rolling his eyes, but then, with jungkook's thick face, he spoke, "So you must be also heard about the king and queen's fought at the royal library, right? Gosh, the queen is really the worst person i knew---"
He stopped realizing his idiotness, slowly turning his eyes on his cousin who was giving him a deathly glare, clearly messaging that 'jungkook is dead, really dead' within just his eyes
Jungkook gulp as he laugh forcefully clearly avoiding the topic and his cousin's gaze, "Oh i think i need to go now. See you laterrrr"
With that, he ran off his ass not wanting to stay with jin any longer, he might kill him, really. Jin is really scary especially when he's angry and Jungkook don't want to be the reason about his cousin's angryness that why he ran his ass off.

Taehyung and Namjoon were having a serious conversation but then, Jimin interrupt them by playfully peeking at the door, "What are you doing there?" Namjoon asked frownly
Jimin came out from the door as he sat beside them answering, "I was just checking if the fool is here." Playfully peeking a glance at Taehyung who was now frowning, "Are you talking about me?"
With that, Jimin chuckles at his question, "I didn't,mention any name. Undenial much?" He teased at the guy who was not in a mood to hear his tease or annoying voice
Namjoon broke the intense eye contest of Jimin and Taehyung, well not that intense because for jimin he was just joking, and teasing his fool friend. He was aware that taehyung might get angry at him but who cares, it's not like everyone don't knows that he's also known as fool in love. You know, some fool decision he made just for love
"Hey, can we stop talking about that? I wanna rest, atleast, i wanna hear about some good things not just about the King and Queen issue. So boring, everyone in the palace are talking about them, and i'm already pissed off it."
Rolling his eyes, then he left. Obviously, Namjoon was also disappointed at Taehyung, even through he was on Taehyung side, His doings were clearly wrong and unfair for the Queen. He's just disappointed at Taehyung, that's why he's upset.
When Namjoon left the whole room filled up in silence, Jimin became serious as he needs to, he then, clear his throat as he speak, "Tae, did you really not regretted the decision you've made?" Him asking that, Taehyung was just silent, still haven't decide if he would answer his friend or just keep the answer himself.
And yes, he regreted it, from leaving his wife, treating her like a stranger, but he chooses not to tell it to anyone, what's the use of it, it's not like something would change in the palace, he thought
He left Jimin alone at the room, well whatever for Jimin, he knew that Taehyung regretted it, well not that much, he's not that affected cause he chooses hwajin after all. Little did he know that she was just also fooling him, Tae is such a fool, such a fool.

While Jisoo is walking to the corridor on her way to her room, someone grabbed her waist as she saw Jennie, her sister-in-law. She smiles brightly seeing her but then Jennie just looking down, as jisoo noticed it, she asks,
"Is there something jen?" She asked cautiously worried at her tone, with that, Jennie look at her as she speak, "Uh nu-i, can we talk?" Asking in a low voice, jisoo already knew that she's going to say something important
They sat on the grass at the lake, as jennie started the conversation,
(A/n: Yeah yes, the lake again. The lake is very importang place of the story so i set them on the lake again)
"Nu-i, I'm sorry about my brother, you know, about how he acted towards you and everything that is unpleasant. I also wanted to thank you for saving my brother from that stupid punishment. Uh I can say that you're the best sister ever, I'm so lucky to have you."
With her straightforward words, Jisoo became soft, she's glad that someone ever appreciate her, and her unwilling sacrifice for taehyung, atleast.
Pulling jennie closer, embracing her on her arms, jisoo spoke, "Thankyou, I'm really thankful that someone appreciate me here. Ever since I came here no one appreciate my efforts and everything exept for my brother ang chaeyoung."
Jennie wrapped her hands around jisoo, hugging her back as she says, "You're always welcome my sister. Now, i'm really really convince that you're the best and perfect woman for my brother. Don't worry, i'll help you with him."
With jennie's statement, jisoo suddenly broke the hug as she was shy at what jennie said, "What nonsense are you saying? Why are you helping me with him? I didn't ask for it and I-i don't like your brother"
Jennie chuckles at her nu-i's reaction, but then, she grasp jisoo's soft hands as she spoke, "I'm serious about what i said. I knew that you like my brother until now and you got hurt when he chooses hwajin over you. I wanted you to be happy, same goes for my brother, there are things that you still don't know and you'll surely found out that later on. I also knew that hwajin was just fooling my brother but whenever i tell him, he always ignores me thinking that i was only spreading some rumors because i don't like hwajin for him but trust me, u wouldn't say this unless i'm not sure of you..."
Speechless, Jisoo was speechless and confused at the same time. She didn't spoke or give some opinion after that, during their talk, jennie was only the one who's sharing some story this time and jisoo was just listening to all of it, and also thinking about something that jennie had said earlier
