Rachel was on the bus on her way home from school. She was feeling down and upset as she looked out the window and watched the scenery before her go past. She choked on her NYADA audition, she found out Finn cheated on her with Quinn when he was campaigning as prom king with her, and to top it off her friendship with Kurt ended because she was on Blaine's side in their fight and on top of everything her car broke down. So here she was on the bus going home.
Rachel sat up from leaning on the window, and as she did she saw a number on the back of the seat. Rachel wasn't one to message random numbers, especially ones she just finds. But she needed to talk to someone to rant too.
Rachel pulled her phone out and started messaging the number.
Hi, I found your number on the back of the seat in front of me.
I know you are probably some random dude, so i decided to take the chance and hope for a mircale.
i know it's dumb, but with all the horrible chances I have had these past three years of highschool,
I just wanted some hope or miracle.
So for this one moment, I want to believe miracles and chance.
When I was younger full of hope and dreams, i used to believe in
chances and that miracles could happen.
I just want to know what happened to her?
Sebastian was in his dorm, he just finished Lacrosse practice, and read the messages from a strange number he never seen, and it realisation hit him, Thad had written his number in random places as a joke, and it wasn't the first time Thad had given out his number randomly, once Sebastian had a subscription to Men's health magazines and Men health supplements because Thad thought it would be funny, it took Sebastian months to cancel them and unsubscribe from them. Sebastian could curse Thad for doing that, and curse him for still putting his number in random places.
Sebastian read the messages, he felt for this girl. he continued reading.
I believed in true love,
Miracles
chances
Chasing my dreams,
Now I don't even believe in myself, chances, miracles, true love
and i gave up chasing my dream.
Life is hard.
Being at Mckinley every day since Freshman year sucks with all the bullying i have to endure everyday.
I choked on my NYADA audition, so I'm not going to college or will ever get to be on broadway,
my fiance and i broke up because he cheated on me during prom campaigning
with the person that torments me daily,
My first real friendship is broken,
and to top it all off
My car broke down so I have to catch the bus everyday.
Sebastian's heart was breaking for her, he was upset and close to tears as he read them, he was about to reply when more messages came through
They say after every rain there is a rainbow,
But where is mine, it feels like I'm drowning and no one is there to save me
I don't know what to do.

Sebastian re read these messages, they were from his friend and secret crush Rachel Berry. He had no idea that she went through all of that, or that she choked on her NYADA audition, or even knew that Hudson had proposed or even cheated on her, he felt for her. For once Sebastian was grateful and thankful that Thad wrote his number on the back of that seat that is in front of Rachel.
Sebastian looked at the messages and decided to reply.
Hey Rachel.
Rachel was shocked that she got a reply and replied hello back to them not knowing it was Sebastian. Sebastian wanted her to know it was him, and he said
This isn't some random guy, it's Sebastian.
Thad had written my number in random places again.
Rachel was shocked that she had unknowingly vented to Sebastian. She panicked on the inside thinking she had embarrassed herself in front of her favourite Warbler. She sighed and wrote
Oh.
I'm sorry for all the texts Seb
I feel really embarrassed.
Sebastian smiled to himself when Rachel called him Seb, he sat on his bed and wrote
No, no, no
Don't apologize.
This one time I'm actually grateful Thad did write my number on that bus
I'm sorry you went through all of that Broadway, really.
Rachel was thankful that Sebastian did care for her. She got off the bus and walked home writing

Sebastian knew that was true, not many people cared for Rachel. Unlike him and the warblers who care and adore Rachel for Rachel. All Sebastian wanted to do was hug her.

Rachel was conflicted on what to do, but in the end she agreed
Sure, we can meet up.
Rachel sent the location of where she is to Sebastian. She didn't want to be alone.
Truthfully Sebastian didn't want to leave Rachel alone. He cares deeply for her. when he reached Rachel, he leaned over and open his door for her to get in. They sat in comfortable silence as Sebastian drove them to the Lima Bean.
When they arrived, the first thing Sebastian did when they walked inside the coffee shop was hug her tight and said
"It will get better Broadway, I promise." Rachel wanted to believe him, she hugged him tight and said
"I hope so." They stood their hugging, and Sebastian decided it was time he be brave and tell her how he feels. Sebastian pulled apart the hug slightly and gently placed his lips on Rachel's, and to his happiness he felt Rachel kiss him back. When they pulled apart Sebastian said
"I love you Rachel. and please don't stop believing in yourself, chance or even miracles. it will get better I promise." Rachel gave him a small smile and said
"I love you too, and I promise I won't."
Rachel hugged Sebastian. She was grateful that she took that chance to message that number, as by some miracle it lead her to Sebastian, and she believed Sebastian and believed in him who believed in her.
