Death's POV
I watched as Briar sleep peacefully under the covers with me in the bed... It's been two days since I brought her here in my island, I'm glad that she enjoyed it here...
If i could just stop the time I would really do it in no time, And stay with her for the rest of my life... But that's not the case, I still have some works out there and I'll be leaving her for that in a while, so I'm really doing my best so she could enjoy much more with me before leaving her...
I have some unfinished work and that work of mine will definitely defined what will Happened to me and briar, it can bring the worst and destroy us, but it can also be the best...
All the consequences is on my hands and I need to make wiser decision so it won't ruin everything that briar and I have so far...
One wrong move of me and we'll be shuttered into pieces... And who knows what will Happened more than that
*Sighed...
"I promise... I'll fix everything what's out there, then I will stay with you forever..." I whisper then kiss her on her forehead, I slowly slide myself off from the comforter Making sure that I wouldn't wake bri up
When I'm totally off out from the bed, I quietly grab my phone in the night table then glance at Briar's side for the last time before leaving the room
Walking outside the house I checked the time and it's almost midnight, it's already cold but it really doesn't bother me so i just proceed walking
As I reach the bay my phone rang and I answered it, it's Mathew
"Where are you already?" I ask not even dare to greet him
"Outside, here in the yatch... Are you going to leave her now?" He answered at the other line
" No, I promise her three days vacation Mathew... I still needed one more day" I said, my face hardens just thinking leaving her now without notice, she'll be confused and eventually get suspicious at me
" Ok it's fine, I'll make some excuse for Brittany for the meantime, you know her... She has a short tempered" he responded, I just stared at the view blankly
Hearing that name make me sick...
FLASH BACK
( TWO DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION )
--MASION at Death's office--
As I flip some page from the documents I'm working on I heard my phone rang so I just grabbed it not even glancing who's the caller is
"Yes?" I coldly said in the phone but my focus is still in the documents, it's just 5 in the morning breeze and I just let Briar sleep in my room since I think that's she's tired
After what happened in the bathroom she become a little messy and she's been lucking some sleep so I always make sure to accompany her so she wouldn't over think everything that happened to her
"Death..." I heard Mathew's serious voice behind the line, my brow's farrowed cause when his serious and something happened he call me direct to my name without being a cocky jerk
Something must really happened out there....
"Yes Mathew?" I responded, and totally forget the documents I'm working on with because my focus is already in my phone
Tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at marahang nag punta sa mini bar na andito, nag salin ako sa baso Ng wine then brought it to my lips
Mathew isn't responding yet and it makes me kinda impatient...
"Calvente are you waisting my tim---"
"Brittany is back" putol nya sa sasabihin ko, I didn't even realize I was gripping the wine glass too hard and it shuttering in my hands that brought me to my sense back
"Where's is she" deadly Ask Mathew, mararamdaman mo Kung gaano katalim Ang pag kakasabi ko nuon na pwedeng makasugat Ng kung sino
"I'm still tracking her down but she called me yesterday... She wanted to see you... " He said rinig ko Rin Ang malalalim na pag hinga nito na kala moy may hika... His angry...
That's what happened when he gets angry he need to control himself so blood wouldn't flow..
"I'll call you back" I shortly said, I was calm but inside I don't know what to feel
"Death how about bri---"
"There's nothing about Briar... Call me if you already tract her down" I cited him then already end the call
It's just my instinct that makes me throw my phone in the nearest wall and it comes shuttering into pieces...
I was angry and confused... Pakiramdam ko parang kumukulo Ang dugo ko and I know I was losing my temper again
Bakit ba kailangan pa nyang bumalik?? To ruin us again?? To ruin me again!?... That's b*llshit!...
I frustratedly bring my hands to pinch the bridge of my nose, marahas ko ring ipinadaan Ang aking palad sa aking buhok just to calm me down
"F*ck!! All these years!! All these f*cking years!! She's gone then she'll come back with out nowhere??!!! Damn!" I shouted then smashed the wine infront of me
I'm losing it.. I'm losing my temper I need to cool down... I feel so suffocated in here.
Agad Kong nilisan Ang aking office at tinahak Ang daan papunta Kung asan si Briar... I needed her she's the only one who calm me down
As I walked to my room briar cent already hit my nose-thrills and it makes me a bit calm...
May narinig akong kalampog sa may walk-in closet ko Kaya agad akong nag baling duon, my closet vomited briar and she's wearing some of my polo shirts
"Death? Kanina ka pa Jan??" She asked, I didn't answer but I did step closer to her then hug her tight as I sniff her cent off..
So sweet so innocent...
"Good morning" I greeted, I heard her giggled and it really wash my bad thoughts away
"Good morning din, what happened?" She greeted back then umikot paharap sa akin, Alam talaga nya pag may bumabagabag sa akin
"Nothing just some work, wanna go swimming later? " Tanong ko sa kanya, pinaningkitan Naman ako nito Ng Mata but then tumango na Rin pag kakawan
"Ok Wala Rin Naman akong gagawin eh, Tara na" she answered then hinila na ako nito palabas
END FLASH BACK
I breathe heavily as I remember what happened... It worries me big time...
"Mathew you still there" I stated, di pa kase naka end Yung call
" Yes, pupunta ka ba dto sa yatch? "He answered
"Yes, be right there" I shortly said
"Hindi ba magigising si Briar? What if she wakes up?" Tanong ni, I just signed
" She won't" I responded back but still not sure if it's true
Well I just hope..
Bago pa sya makasagot ay pinatay ko na Yung tawag, di nag tagal ay natanaw ko na Ang chopper and I just stand there waiting it to fetch me
The bay is far from the house so it doesn't bother me from the noise it makes...
As the chopper stop in front of me I didn't hesitate to climb up then watch the bay sink allowing me to see the heart view shape of it above the sky

"Just grab my hands briar..." Sabi Ng babaeng asa harap ko... She's smiling devilishly at me... I blinked as my tears fall down from my cheeks, napaubo ako at napakaraming dugo Ang lumabas duon, nahihirapan din akong huminga

"Let her go!!!" Death shouted, Hindi sya makalapit sa akin dahil may mga taong nakakapit sa kanya, Wala silang mga mukha
May babaeng humarang sa harap ko at tulad Ng mga lalaking humahawak Kay death ay Hindi ko maaninaw Ang mukha nya

"Kill her... Make sure she's dead then dispose her body" rinig Kong Sabi Ng isang boses na babae, marahan Kong binuksan Ang aking mga Mata ngunit kalahati laang nun Ang bumukas
I was tied up with chained in the floor at nararamdaman ko Ang lamig noon, puno Rin ako Ng dugo...

" Death Bakit?? What did I do wrong?? Ano!! " Malakas na sigaw ko Kay death habang patuloy Ang pag luha sa aking mga mata
I feel like ripping inside... It was so painful

"I don't love you Briar" death said blankly, like na para bang Wala ako sa harap nya
"See I'm the one he loves, now back off bitch your just a mistress!" nabaling Ang tingin ko sa boses Ng babae at kitang Kita ko Kung paano sya lumingkis sa braso ni death
Hindi ko maaninaw Ang mukha Ng babae pero nasasaktan na agad ako di ko namalayang umiiyak na ako....
Bakit?.... Bakit mo to nagawa sa akin death?

"Death.." nabulong ko at napatingin sa aking tabi Ng maalala si death, pero bumungad sa akin Ang isang Hindi okyopadong Kama... His gone...
Ang kabang nararamdaman ko ay domoble at agad na napabangon, I don't know pero natatakot ako sa isiping Wala sya sa Kama
Ang mga luha na imbis ay tumigil ay nag tuloy tuloy Lang Ang pag agos sa aking pisngi, the dream has a very hard impact in me
Parang totoo iyun dahil Ang bawat sakit at takot na nararamdaman ko ay nasa aking dibdib
Paano Kung mangyari talaga iyun?? Hindi ko ata kakayanin...
"Death?" Tawag ko sa kanya but walang response, tumingin ako sa orasang nahagip Ng Mata ko at 6 na Ng umaga, meron Ng kaunting liwanag sa labas pero dahil natatabunan Ng makakapal na kurtina Yung bintana ay medyo madilim pa dto sa loob
"Death??" Tawag ko ulit at medyo may kalakasan na iyun, mas lumalakad Naman Ang kabog Ng dibdib ko dahil napakatahimik Ng lugar
Where is he??
"Death!?" Tawag ko ulit, this time ay mabilis na akong umalis sa kama at nag suot Ng robe at nag punta sa cr para tingnan Kung andun sya buy Wala talaga
Tumakbo ako palabas at tahimik Ang lugar Wala ring nanggagaling na Ingay mula sa kusina ka agad akong nag tungo papunta sa labas
Ng makalabas ako sa pinto ay agad akong napayakap sa aking sarili dahil sa lamig, pero nag patuloy parin ako sa pag baba..
"Death!! Death asan ka??" Nag papanic na tawag ko sa kanya, habang walang tigil na talagang umagos Yung mga luha ko pababa sa aking mga mata
Bawat pag hakbang ko sa hangdang kahoy ay bumibigat ang dibdib ko at nahihirapan na akong huminga
Paano Kung talagang iniwanan na nya ako?? No.. no no no!! Wag Naman oh!!
"Death asan ka ba??!! Death!!" Sigaw ko na, Nang marating ko na Ang pinaka baba ay di ko na pinansin Kong Wala akong suot na chinelas at nag tuloy tuloy Lang na nag lakad sa buhangin
"Death!!" Umiiyak na tawag ko ulit but tuluyan na akong nanghina at napagod Kaya agad akong nag collapse sa buhangin...
Asan sya
"Briar?" Nakarinig ako Ng mahinang tinig sa may Kanan ko Kaya agad akong nag angat Ng tingin duon, and there I saw him walking papalapit sa akin
Mas naiyak ako dun at Wala sa sariling tumayo at tumakbo palapit sa kanya, agad ko syang niyakap Ng mahigpit
"What Happened? Why are you crying?" Nag aalalang tanong nito pero mas naiyak Lang ako dun
A-akala ko iniwan na nya ako...
"Briar what happened??" Pag uulit nito at kumalas sa pag kakayakap, he cares my cheeks at iniharap ako sa kanya, patuloy Lang Naman Ang pag agos Ng mga luha ko dun
"What happened?" He softly asked, as he wipe my tears away
" Ang... Ang a-akala ko I... Iniwan mo na ako... " Paos na sabi ko at naiyak nanaman, mas lumambot Ang expression nya at marahan akong niyakap pabalik sa braso nya
"I won't leave you..." He assured, marahan Naman akong tumango
"S-san ka ba kase galing" mahinang tanong ko, binuhat Naman ako nito Kaya nag padala nalang ako dun
His here... Thank goodness...
"I just went for a walk love, I already prepared some breakfast for us" he calmly said, nakahinga Naman ako Ng maluwag at sumiksik na ulit sa leeg nya
"It's ok, I'm here briar... It's just bad dreams" pag sasabi pa nito
" It seems so real" Wala sa sariling sagot ko naman
" It's just 'seems' it will never became real" he assured, I just sighed
" Yeah" I murmurs then ipinikit na ulit Ang Mata ko
I just hope na talagang panaginip Lang iyun...
