"are we there yet?" it's been 5 hours in the plane and it's been boring as hell. every 30 minutes tubbo kept asking when they would get there, tommy was being his obnoxious self, and wilbur kept thinking. just thinking. like what he would say. the whole majority of the time, besides of their little rants, they were on their phones or asleep. sage on the other hand had been very active on social media. she's gotten calmer after what she had told wilbur but hasn't 100% developed the information she had said. she was still utterly embarrassed and wasn't talking to wilbur as often.
the 3 boys had finally made it to california. they were boarding off very firefly. it was about 7am which meant that sage should be awake by now, knowing that she wakes up too early. tubbo, tommy, and wilbur all made sure that they had her presents and that she was home without making it obvious.

wilbur ordered an uber to drive them to her house. he was extremely nervous, like almost dead nervous. he decided that the 2 boys would go say hi to her first and then when they were out of sight, he could be alone with sage so he can say what he truly felt.
they were about 4 minutes away and sage had no clue. she was currently yelling the lyrics to the song friends by chase atlantic. she was now fully dressed and decided to take some instagram photos to take her mind off of everything. lately she's been thinking about wilbur way too much. yes she's been taking to him through literal social media's but it didn't feel the same. there was always this awkward tension that would never go away. she really wanted that tension to go but wilbur hadn't texted her after what she said. it had only been less than a day and she felt completely alone without wilbur.

"what are you waiting for go knock!"
"wil we're extremely nervous just like you. please calm down."
tubbo responded while hiding behind one of sage's bushes with tommy and wilbur. tubbo and tommy slowly crept up to the door and knocked. you could her sage's soft calming voice yell "coming" from inside her home. as she opened the door slowly, her eyes widened with the expression of shock. her jaw was wide open and her eyes were filled up with small tears. she took the two boys into a big hug and stayed there for a couple of seconds. she simply enjoyed the moment.
"ive missed you guys so much come inside."
sage opened her door wildly as she suggested them to come in.
"tommy and i will go in but i saw the mail man pass by! you should go get it."
tubbo said eagerly dragging tommy into the house.
"o-oh okay! make yourself at home and i'll be right back!"

sage walked out of the house and slowly went to where the "mail man" was. she turned her head to the left to keep on walking till she saw him infront of her. he was wearing a black turtleneck with some black pants, doc martens and his glasses to top it off. his hair was fluffy as usual but had a lighter color to it. he was standing there with a little letter that had the words "sage" in cursive. sage stood there in complete shock with more tears coming down. she smiled wildly and practically tackled wilbur into the biggest hug ever. he did the exact same. the two were both intensely blushing and practically crying at this point. wilbur broke apart and handed sage the letter. "im sorry for not replying sooner. i needed you infront of me so i could tell you everything." wilbur admitted with a genuine tone and a soft smile on his face.
sage looked at him in awe with curiosity on her face. she analyzed the letter very carefully and began reading it...

where do i begin? so i know i'm being a pussy because i'm telling you all this through a letter while i'm standing in front of you but i'm just so fucking nervous. anyways let me actually start. when you told me about you liking me i couldn't believe it. a girl like you liking a guy like me. i know, it sounds pathetic. i was in shock that i couldn't find the right words to say. you admitting everything to me was all i needed to hear. what i'm trying to say is that i like you sage. more than you think i do. you make a room bright lighter with your smile, your kindness for others, everything about you is amazing. to your dark brown fluffy hair in the sun to your dark brown eyes staring into my gaze with no interruptions. you mean everything to me sage. i mean it. the first day that i met you i instantly knew i was going to like you. sounds corny i know and besides, when tubbo just started talking about you and how you were his bestfriend, i knew you were going to be amazing. you mean a lot to me sage. and i'm so sorry that i made you feel like i didn't feel the same about you. when i went out with that girl, i wasn't actually looking for
someone. i was just trying to push my feelings away. my feelings were always growing so much for you that i tried to deny them by making you jealous. obviously i fucked up at that point. i've fallen for you sage flores. i've fallen for you and i don't think there's going back. i'm admitting it here and now. i care about you to the point where i'll do anything for you. i care about you so much and i can't describe it. your everything to me. i'm sorry for the stupid things i did and i want you flores. i need you. and i wanna be with you. only with you.

sage had tears in her eyes and looked up at wilbur. he was lightly blushing and towering her. he had a small genuine smile waiting for a response. sage jumped on him and gave him the biggest hug. she was shocked. shocked of what she had just read.
wilbur broke apart of the hug and held her hand and admitted "sage your everything to me. you probably don't believe me but when i saw you i instantly fell for you. i want you. i don't want anyone else. i don't want to spend the rest of my days with someone else. i only want to be with you. i want to spend my days only with you."
they both stood there staring into each others gazes not wanting to break apart. wilbur moved his head towards the door to signal they should get inside. sage followed him and they were back inside the little cottage like home. tommy and tubbo were eagerly sitting on the couch waiting for them. they heard the door creak and snapped their heads to catch the two holding hands.
"WELL?" tommy yelled eagerly.
"we're not dating. we just told eachother our feelings." sage responded while looking at wilbur for reassurance.
"yet.." wilbur looked at her with a small grin. the two boys looked at them with excitement.
"we brought some cookie dough so we can make christmas cookies because you had to leave early!" tubbo said while getting up off of the couch.
"really? let's make some then." sage pulled wilbur to the kitchen to get the cookie things ready.
the whole time they were making cookies wilbur kept glancing at sage. he really liked her. they've known eachother for 6 months and he already wanted to make her his but he needed time. time for him to find what to do.
sage also kept glancing at him. she really liked wilbur that she wanted him besides her all the time. she wanted him. she wanted to hug him like if it was their last time hugging. all she needed to do was wait.
