Selena was inside that house again and all of sudden everything was dark causing her to panic "Hello? Mother?"
She felt like someone was stabbing her skin, she felt an immense amount of pain coursing through her body causing her to yell in pain. She heard whispers inside her head as she closed her eyes while tears running down her cheeks
"Please stop... it hurts" she whimpered as she felt fire growing inside of her "No! No!"
"Selena?" She heard Klaus' voice causing her to turn around happily
"Nik?" She called but when she tried to reach for him he caught in fire causing her to gasp lightly
"NO!" She screamed falling to her knees as she was surrounded by fire "Don't- Don't leave me"

"She's going to be fine. She got a little banged up today. She hit her head but it was just a slight concussion. Nothing to worry about" Meredith told Jenna, Selena and Jeremy while they were outside Elena's room in the hospital
"But she collapsed, there was blood" Jeremy argued while Selena remained silent
"Honestly. She's fine" she assured them "She's just... she's been through a lot"
"Is anyone you want to call?" The doctor asked them and Jeremy nodded while Selena sat down causing Jenna to sit down beside her
"How are you feeling?" She asked her and Selena trued her hardest not to cry "That's a stupid question"
"My heart hurts so much" Selena said as tears welled up in her eyes "I feel like I'm dying painfully... I never thought I'd feel like this. Everything hurts and the nightmares aren't helping much"
"What nightmares?" Jeremy asked and she sighed
"Yesterday I had a nightmare that... Nik died, caught on fire... now I'm awake and I'm living inside a nightmare" she told them and he looked down in guilt
"Leenie I swear I didn't know they were going to do that" he said and she nodded weakly
"I know"
"I'll call Damon" he informed them as he pulled out his phone calling the vampire
"You did what?" Damon asked and Selena rolled her eyes
"Jenna and I took her to the hospital" Jeremy said "When you find your sister unconscious. You call 911"
"Not when you have a parade of vampires at your disposal" Damon retorted causing Selena to scoff. They knocked her out yesterday and he had the audacity to say that
"Every remaining Original is going to want Elena dead to stop Alaric. She's a sitting duck in here" Stefan stated
"Well Meredith want to keep her here for observation" Jeremy told them
"Get her home. We're on our way"
"How's Leenie?" Damon asked hesitantly and Selena grabbed the phone and hang up

"Couch" Caroline ordered Elena as her and Selena helped her get to it
"I'm fine... I just want to eat something first" Elena told them
"We're on it as soon as we make sure no one's lurking in the closets" Tyler said as he, Jeremy and Matt began to search the house
"All right couch now!" Jenna ordered
"I told you guys I'm fine" Elena whined and Selena remained silent once again
"Leenie I'm sorry... I didn't they were going to do that I promise" Elena apologised as Selena put the pillow behind her back without saying anything "Leenie please say something"
"What do you want me to say Elena? They once again put you first and I have to endure the consequences of not seeing the love of my life probably ever again?" Selena snapped "I can't be here and I'm glad you're okay but I have to go... I need to see the people who actually give a damn about my happiness. The only thing I ever wanted for once is for you to support me"
"Auntie J. I'll talk to you later" she said as Tyler grabbed her by her wrist
"Leenie" he began and she punched in the face causing him to gasp as he stumbled back
"Touch me again and I will kill you" she sneered before storming out of the house with Caroline following her
"Honestly, Elena the only thing she needs now is your support" Bonnie told the elder sister
"Leenie wait!" Caroline called causing Selena to sigh and stopped
"Look I know he's your boyfriend but I couldn't help it" Selena said and Caroline hugged her tightly
"He deserved it" the blonde whispered "They shouldn't have done that"
"I know... I have to go now"

Selena didn't know what to do anymore, she was with Theo waiting for Elijah to come. With a sigh she grabbed her phone from her bag and dialed someone's number causing Theo to frown as he watched her warily
She placed her phone in her ear waiting for Kol to answer and after few seconds he did "Kol?"
"Twinkle darling! To what do I owe the pleasure?" He asked and she let out a shaky breath "Lena are you alright? I'll gladly kill the person who hurt you. Is it Nik?"
"They have Nik..."
"What do you mean they have Nik?" He asked in confusion
"They desiccated him... I need your help"
"Where's Elijah and Rebekah?" He asked her
"Elijah is on his way and Rebekah is trying to find him... I tried a locator spell but I'm too weak. It's not working"
"Hey! Calm down we will find him" he assured her and she wiped her tears "Stay with your brother until Elijah arrives"
"I'm scared Kol" she told him with cracked voice causing him ro sigh
"I'll be on my way" he said and she nodded before hanging up
As much as he hated to admit it but he couldn't see her suffering and scared like that. She was like a little sister to him

Selena and Elijah were standing in front of the Gilbert's house waiting for someone to open the door. When no one did she grabbed her keys and opened it
"Hello Elena" Elijah greeted the brunette when she stood in front of them
"Stefan" Elena called out and her sister stared at her with harshly
"Elijah" Stefan breathed out as he and Matt approached them
"Hello again" the Original smirked at them
Selena and Elijah sat at the dining table, Elena sitting in front of them while Stefan and Matt stood to her side and Jenna sat down beside her niece
"All we need is to take that stake away from Alaric. Once he's been disarmed, and the weapon in my possession, my family will scatter to the ends of the earth and Alaric will follow us" Elijah explained to the doppelganger and the vampire
"And you'll just run?" Stefan asked as he stood beside Elena
"We've done it before" Elijah retorted "Only this time Selena would be with us"
"Klaus and Rebekah spent the better part of a thousand years evading my father. What's another half century while Elena is able to live out the rest of her natural life?" Elijah spoke and the younger vampire turned to Selena with a disbelief look
"Are you seriously going with them?" He asked her and she nodded
"Yes I am... they are my family too and I don't think I can live without Klaus. He's my home" she retorted but her tone was bitter and cold causing them to wince at her words "I don't have anything here in Mystic falls except for Jenna Caroline and Jer and I'll make sure to visit them"
"We've finally stopped him, Elijah. After everything that he's done to us. I can't just let you bring him back" Elena told the Original and Selena's hand were tight at her sides, her nails cutting hard into her palms. Elijah grabbed her hand under the table to calm her down
"I give you my word Elena, I will not revive Klaus within nor even your children's lifetime. Perhaps that will finally teach him some manners" Elijah promised the doppelganger. He rubbed the Enchantress hand letting her know that he was lying
"Why should she trust you? All you've done is screw her over" Matt snapped causing Selena to laugh bitterly
"You would know because that what you all exactly did to save Elena's life and sacrifice mine" she retorted with a fake smile causing them to look down in guilt
"And for that, I am deeply ashamed. But know this, could have been dead the instant I walked through that door tonight, so Elena I leave it to you to make the decision whether you trust me or not but at least trust your sister" Elijah stated and Selena looked at her pleadingly
"No! Hello did that concussion give you brain damage? His lunatic siblings will kill you the first chance they get!" Damon shouted through the speaker causing Selena to scowl annoyed
"If you don't shut your mouth you'll be soon complaining about a brain damage" she hissed "Don't tempt me Damon"
"Elena please, I'm begging you. Klaus will not harm you him and I were leaving town anyway. As for Kol and Rebekah they will be civil" Selena pleaded as tears threatened to run down her cheeks "Elena I promise you no one will harm you, not even Klaus. I'll make sure of that just trust me"
"Rebekah and Kol will honour the terms. If you return Klaus's body to us... Elena will come to no harm. Do we have a deal?" Elijah asked the doppelganger
"No! No! No did I mention No?" Damon shouted and Selena grabbed the phone from the table and hung up
"It's up to you" Stefan told the doppelganger
"Why do you want Klaus's body" The doppelganger asked the Original
"Didn't we answer that already?" Selena asked in disbelief
"He's my brother, we remain together" The original stated
"Elena I love him, We were leaving town like I said. I promise you I will not let him lay a finger on you. Despite everything you're my sister" she pleaded and Elijah nodded "If you really see me as your sister. You'll give him back to me... to us"
"Do this one thing for your sister Elena" Jenna finally spoke
"We have a deal" Elena nodded and Selena hugged her tightly
"Thank you"
"Don't worry we'll be leaving town the second you give us Klaus" Elijah stated and they nodded
After few minutes Kol texted Selena that he was back and she informed him that they were at her house
"I know where Klaus's body" Jeremy said over the phone as he put it on speaker and they all listened
"Good tell me" Alaric said excitedly
"Damon is on his way to bury him in the woods off route 12. I'll text you with the specifics" Jeremy told him
"Thank you Jeremy you are doing the right thing for your sister"
"I know" he said looking at Selena
"He bought it" the younger Gilbert said and Selena smiled at him gratefully
Selena stepped out of the Gilbert's house and Kol appeared in front of her "Kol!" She beamed before pulling him into a hug
"I missed you" he said rubbing her back "We will get him back Okay, Twinkle? Do you want me to kill that doppelganger and her friends?"
"No. She's still my sister... I'm scared" she told him honestly as she wiped her tears "I'm scared, Kol. What if-"
"No don't think like that. We'll get him back all right?" Kol stated and she smiled weakly
"I'll go with Rebekah and Theo" she said and she pulled her phone out of her pocket "Stay with Elijah"
'I'm on my way' she massaged before walking away leaving Kol and Elijah

Selena, Theo and Rebekah stepped out of the Elevator looking for Damon "Damon!" The blonde shouted looking around with the siblings
"Damon! Where are you?" Selena called again but there was no response
"Damon this isn't funny" Rebekah scoweled in annoyance
The three continued to walk down the line of the storage units and all of sudden both them were grabbed by the Salvatore, hands placed on their mouthes. When they looked up they sighed in relief
"Shh!" The elder Salvatore hushed them as they told them that Alaric had found them and they need to leave
Alaric continued to search for them but he stopped when he saw a unit labeled 1020. He opened it to see that Klaus's coffin was gone
Selena, Rebekah, theo and Damon reached the SUV but when they were about to put the coffin in the trunk, Alaric sped over to them and slammed Rebekah's head against the car before throwing her to the floor
Selena rushed towards Rebekah's side and helped her as Damon tried to attack Alaric but he was thrown at the wall in the process. Theo attacked him from behind but Alaric defeated him by throwing him into the floor causing him to graon in pain
Alaric opened the coffin and pulled out the whiye oak stake from his jacket
"No!" Selena and Rebekah shouted in unison
"No! Don't" Damon shouted at his former friend causing him to smirk mischievously
"No! No! No" Rebekah protested as tears streaming down her cheeks
"Ric! No" Selena tried to reach for her boyfriend but she was stopped by her brother
"No!" She screamed and then used her elemental side throwing him away with fire but it was already too late. Alaric had stabbed Klaus in the heart with the stake as he caught in fire
"NO!" Selena collapsed onto the floor "Klaus No! Please don't leave me!"
She once again tried to go to him but Theo placed his arms around her waist pulling her away as she cried
Damon rushed towards Rebekah holding her back when she tried to reach for her brother as she cried and screamed
Selena felt like fire was shooting through her veins. A feeling of unreality came over her. It wasn't possible that any of this was happening, was it? The promise of Always and Forever couldn't possibly just go
She felt as if her heart was made of cracked glass, and the shards were like tiny knives inside her chest when she breathed. She never imagined a life without him and now he was burning right in front of her eyes. She wanted to feel something but she was empty because her heart died along with Klaus'
Alaric turned to Rebekah "Next" he told her with a taunting smirk
"Rebekah, run" Damon shouted he pushed her in the doorway "Take Leenie with you and run"
"Theo!" Selena screamed but he just threw her to Rebekah side
Rebekah picked up Selena from the floor before rushing out of the storage unit as she stopped in the middle of the woods to see Elijah and Kol standing
"He's gone" Rebekah said with tears streaming down her cheeks
"There was nothing I could do to stop it" she sobbed and the elder Mikaelson hugged her
Kol rushed towards the Enchantress and hugged her causing her to sob against his chest. She felt like she was dying
"He's dead" she whimpered breathlessly "He killed him before my eyes... I loved him"
"You have no idea how happy you made him" Elijah told her softly as he hugged her as well "We're on your side. We're family"
"He left me" she breathed out as tears streaming down her face freely "He promised"
"Oh my God" Selena began frantically when the realisation hit her "He's dead... Caroline"
"She survived. Tyler Lockwood is dead but they all survived" Kol stated causing them to frown
"You said that Niklaus turned their bloodline" Elijah told his sister
"I thought he did" Rebekah said
"It wasn't Kol, it wasn't me Elijah. It was Niklaus I'm sure of it"
"It doesn't make any sense. How come they got to live?" Selena asked between her cries
"They don't" Rebekah stated angrily
"I want to die" she whispered causing them all to gasp "I can't- I can't live... he was my soulmate. Your mother shouldn't have cut off the bond"
"What" Kol asked in disbelief "Selena-"
"He loved you so much Selena, you saved him. You saved him from himself. You have no idea how much you gave him. He found himself" Elijah told her softly and sincerely
"What about me? I don't know who I am without him anymore" she said and he hugged her once again
"He left me" she said before passing out causing him to lift her up
"Stay with her... she's not thinking straight" Rebekah told him and he nodded "I have something to do"

"I must say you really did that spell brilliantly. I didn't think you had it on you" Tyler (Klaus) said
"I did it to save my friends Klaus. You know that you don't deserve Leenie but she loves you" Bonnie said
"The spirits won't be happy with you" Tyler (Klaus) stated
"The spirits don't get to tell me what to do anymore. I'm done getting pushed around by all of you. I did it because I wanted to" she told him firmly
"Selena doesn't know?" He asked her hesitantly and she shook her head
"No. She thinks you're dead" Bonnie sighed sadly "I don't know where is she but she's suffering... you have no idea what will happen if she loses control"
"No don't tell her until I get back to my body" he told her and she nodded
He hated himself for lying and making her go through what she was going through now. But he couldn't tell her anything because if he did he'll be putting her life at risk if Alaric found out

"Selena is not stupid" Kol told them "She's just grieving, she's not suicidal"
"When you love someone that much you become dangerous" Rebekah said looking down at Selena who was still unconscious "She said she wanted to die... I never saw someone love that much"
"Yes Kol... she loved him too much and now its killing her" Theo spoke up finally
"She was willing to sacrifice her own life for him" Elijah added and Kol sighed
"Yes but he would want her to live" he told them "He loved her too"
Selena opened her eyes too see the Mikaelson siblings and Theo. She stood up and immediately stumbled back causing Theo to help her steady herself
She looked at them without a word and stormed out of the living room causing them to sigh. Kol stood up wanting to follow her but Elijah stopped him
"Don't"
Selena entered his art room and stared at his paintings. She felt too suffocating, she made her way to the table and threw all his paintings down the floor as the siblings listened to her causing them to sigh sadly
"AHHHH!" She screamed from the top of her lungs. She let out a painful scream as she fell down crying mess
