Draco's POV

I was woken by the sunlight pouring through Harry's open curtains. Harry was still asleep, my arm was around his head which was on my chest. His breathing was soft and he seemed so peaceful. I kissed him gently on the top of his head and pulled him closer. I closed my eyes again, hoping to catch a few more minutes of sleep before I had to get up and pretend to hate him. I ended up falling asleep and I didn't wake up until I felt Harry's soft lips pressed against mine.

"What a lovely way to wake up" I said when he pulled away.

"We overslept, also why are you in my bed?" he asked, clearly not remembering last night.

"Oh you were having a nightmare and I came to comfort you." I said, making a move to get up.

"No stay." He pulled me back down and into a hug. "You should sleep here more often."

I smiled when he pulled me close, clearly he had no idea I'd been sleeping in his bed for a week. Anytime he had a nightmare.

"We have to get up and go to our classes," I said. He didn't let go. "Harry come one we are going to be late."

"Ergh, I don't want to get up." He complained.

"Well we have to." I persisted.

"Fine, but I'm showering first." He said before jumping up and grabbing his towel. I laughed at him and fell back onto his bed. How did I get this lucky?

I packed up all my books and my homework and grabbed my robes to get ready for my shower. I turned when I heard the bathroom door open, and was greeted by a fabulous sight. Harry walked out of the bathroom, still dripping, his towel tied loosely and hanging low on his waist. I stood there staring at him as he grabbed his clothes, which he obviously forgot, and walked back to the bathroom. He noticed me staring before he reached the door.

"Like the view?" He asked, smirking at me. I felt heat rise to my cheeks, but didn't look away.

"Yes." I stated. He didn't seem to know how to respond to that, and just walked back into the bathroom to get dressed.

When we were both ready to go, we walked to the great hall together. We split off and went to our separate tables. I took my seat next to Pansy and across from Blaise. Pansy never asked about what happened with Harry, but I assumed she knew, she always knew. We ate breakfast and talked about the latest drama with the other houses. I wasn't really paying attention though, Harry caught my eye from the other side of the room, he was laughing with his friends and just looked so adorable. Pansy had to shake me to get my attention.

"Draco! Come one, we don't want to be late." She said

"Oh right, sorry I was distracted." She gave me a knowing look, which I ignored.

Blaise sat next to me as usual, which I knew made Harry upset, but there was no way I was going to be able to convince him to sit somewhere else without revealing our relationship. I couldn't help but glance over at Harry, he was just so distracting. It was like every time I tried to focus on something, I found myself looking back at him. At his face, at his eyes, and at his lips especially.

Right after class, I grabbed Harry by his arm and pulled him into an empty hallway. He made a small noise of surprise, which I silenced with my lips. I parted his lips expertly and slid my tongue into his mouth. Exploring every inch of his mouth. His hands found my face and then he ran his fingers through my hair. I placed my arms on his chest and ran them down his sides and down to his belt loops, which I used to pull him closer.

I pulled away when I was completely out of breath. My hair was sticking up in all different directions and my lips felt hot where Harry's had previously been. Harry's lips were swollen from our kiss.

"What was that for?" Harry asked, between breaths.

"I've been wanting to do that since breakfast." I confessed.

"Oh? Then why in the world would you wait this long?" He questioned, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

I smiled in response before kissing him again. This time it wasn't as heated, but just as passionate. This time he broke the kiss, resting his forehead on mine.

"We have to go to the rest of our classes." Harry said.

"I don't want to," I responded.

"But we have to," he said.

"Ugh" I complained.

I didn't want to but I let go of his belt loops and we walked to our next class. We weren't late, thankfully, but when I sat down next to Blaise he eyed me questionably

"Dude, what happened to you?" He asked

"What do you mean?" I tried to play dumb.

"You look like you just got snogged," he stated.

"What are you talking about?"

"You're all red and your hair is everywhere. It wasn't like that just a few minutes ago" Blaise said.

"Ok, maybe I was snogging," I said, trying to play it cool.

"Awesome man! Who?"

"Now that is none of your business." I said before beginning to work.

Harry's POV

I smiled like an idiot for the rest of the day after Draco kissed me in that hallway. It was an awesome kiss too. His hair is so soft, I just want to run my fingers through it all day. Unfortunately he had quidditch practice after classes so I didn't get to see him until that evening at dinner.

I couldn't help but look up at him while I ate, apparently he had the same thought because when I did my eyes met his grey ones. He smiled after a moment and went back to chatting with his friends. I smiled too, before going back to my friends. I glanced over at them just in time to see Hermione hit Ron for shoving food in his mouth. I couldn't help but snicker as Ron rubbed his bruised arm.

"Oh shut up Harry!" Ron exclaimed, though he was smiling.

"Oi' not my fault mate, try chewing. I hear it comes with less bruises." I replied, still laughing.

I grabbed a treacle tart off the platter and decided not to eat dinner. Tonight was greens and fish and I wasn't the biggest fan of either.

"Harry! You can't eat treacle tart for dinner. You need to have real food." Hermione said, turning away from Ron and fixing me with her motherly gaze.

"No thanks Mione, I'll stick with the tart." I replied, taking a bite.

"Harry James Potter, you are an athlete, a quidditch player. You need real food not sweets." Hermione scolded. She began piling food onto my empty plate and shoved it towards me.

"But Mione, I don't like greens or fish, and I love treacle tarts. My superior athletic body will survive." I countered.

I shoved the plate back to her and she huffed and rolled her eyes irritably. I took another few bites of the tart before a note floated onto the table in front of me. I looked around confused and saw Draco staring at me intently. I glanced over at Hermione, but she was busy talking with Ron so I unfolded the note.

Treacle tarts aren't a sufficient dinner. Eat some real food or I'll steal all of your left socks.

-D

I suppressed a laugh and pulled the plate of food back towards me. Hermione glanced back at me with a confused look as I took an overly exaggerated bite. This earned me a warm smile from Draco and a satisfied pat on the back from Hermione. I finished my dinner and resumed eating my treacle tart.

"See Harry don't you feel better?" Hermione asked.

"Sure. I supposed, treacle tart still tastes better though." I replied.

"Well of course it does, its made of sugar." She said.

After dinner, Ron, Hermione, and I made our way back to the common room. We relaxed onto the couches, after successfully convincing Hermione to take a break from homework. Draco, Pansy, and Blaise were the next people to file through the common room door. I smiled at the sight of Draco and waved the three of them over. Hermione and Ron gave me a curious glance so I thought quickly.

"Pansy!" I called, drawing the suspicion off of Draco and I. "Come sit with us."

Pansy nodded and the three Slytherins relaxed onto the couches. Draco took a spot next to me and whispered under his breath.

"Pansy?" He whispered with a smile.

"Shut up." I whispered back, still smiling. He laughed a little before we turned our attention to the group.

"So how are you three?" Pansy asked.

"Well some of us would be better if they would spend more time doing school work." Hermione pointed out, making Pansy laugh.

"Don't worry, its like a sport trying to get this one to even pick up a quill." Pansy said, pointing to Blaise. "And that one is pretty good about his studies except he's always distracted, between quidditch and reading, I swear." Draco laughed and the sound filled me with joy.

"Wanna play truth or dare?" Blaise asked.

"Sure!" Pansy replied.

"I'm down." I added.

"Sounds like fun." Hermione agreed.

"Why not." Draco said and Ron nodded in agreement. We played a few rounds, before it came back to Pansy.

"Blaise truth or dare?" Pansy asked.

"Dare." He replied with confidence.

"Ok don't move from that spot until you are told to." Pansy said. I was confused but Blaise looked worried and Draco was snickering.

Pansy stood up and grabbed Blaise's book bag she took out his parchments and books and scattered them on the table. Blaise kept all of his parchments organized by class and date, so when Pansy spread them out on the table and they got all jumble together, he looked physically pained.

"Pansy!" Blaise exclaimed, he moved to stand up but Pansy shook her head.

"You can reorganize it next round." Pansy said as she sat back down.

"I hate you." Blaise said.

"I hate you too." Pansy replied with a smile.

"Harry truth or dare?" Blaise asked, turning away from the mess on the coffee table.

"Oh um dare I guess." I said, truth could be a little dangerous with a secret relationship.

"Ok, I dare you to kiss Pans." Blaise said with an innocent smile. I swear I felt my heart fall out of my chest and onto the floor.

"What?" I asked, it came out as a whisper.

"Kiss Pansy, come on Mister Gryffindor, you're not scared are you?" Blaise asked, I'm pretty sure all the color drained from my face, probably because my heart was no longer pumping any blood.

"Um, no offense Pansy, but I'd rather not." I said.

"Ya no offense Harry, but I too would rather not partake in that." Pansy replied.

Draco's POV

I saw all the color drain from Harry's face when Blaise named the dare. I curled my hands into fists by my side and resisted the urge to punch my best friend directly in the face. Blaise didn't seem to notice me seething in anger and continued to encourage Harry to do the dare. Pansy was looking at me helplessly as I shot her a glare that clearly said don't you dare.

"Oh come on Harry, we all know you fancy Pansy." Ron said, which earned him a slap in the arm from Hermione. "Ouch, Mione. Its true, he's been drooling over her from the past like month."

"Exactly. Come on Harry don't be a scaredy Potter, you can thank me later." Blaise said with a wink.

"I don't fancy Pansy!" Harry said, refusing to move from his spot.

Pansy got up from her spot on the couch and approached Harry without looking at me. Harry shrunk into the seat as Pansy came closer. She kissed him on the lips before sitting back down. I could feel the anger boiling in me and I felt like I would explode at any minute.

"Oh come one Pans, when did you become such a prude? That wasn't even a real kiss. You guys are no fun." Blaise said slouching into the couch with a look of disappointment. "I had all my stuff thrown about and you can't even do a simple dare," he huffed.

Harry got up and practically ran up the steps towards the dorm. Blaise threw his hands up in defeat and I stood up to follow Harry, ignoring the strange looks from my friends. I burst into our dorm and saw him sitting, with his head hanging low, on his bed. I didn't hesitate before sitting next to him and pulling him into a tight hug, which he returned.

"I'm sorry." He said into my chest.

"What do you have to be sorry for?" I asked.

"For kissing Pansy." He mumbled.

"Listen to me, you didn't kiss her, she kissed you and besides I don't blame you. But believe me I'm going to have some words with her." I replied. I used my finger to draw his face up so he could look me in the eye. I kissed him deep and slow. When I pulled away he smiled.

"You are a much better kisser." He said. I couldn't help but laugh and pull him into another hug.

***

The next morning as I made my way down to the common room before breakfast, Pansy grabbed my arm and pulled me aside.

"Bloody hell Pansy, get off me!" I exclaimed, pulling my arm out of her grip.

"Draco please, I had no choice. Blaise wasn't going to let him go. Merlin that boy is so thick sometimes I think he was dropped on his head as a baby." Pansy said.

"Leave it Pansy, its fine." I replied, my tone was sharp however.

"No, its not fine. I kissed him, and I know how you feel about him and I knew he didn't want to but Blaise is stubborn he wouldn't have let up. I'm sorry, I really am." Pansy pleaded. I took a deep breath and tried to let the anger go.

"Its ok Pansy, really. I get it." I replied, this time I meant it. She pulled me into a tight hug before walking with e down to breakfast.

We sat across from Blaise, who was already stuffing his face(and completely oblivious to the fact that I was incredibly irritated with him). Pansy smirked at me before grabbing her wand from her pocket and hexing his shoe laces tied together. I smiled and pulled out my wand, I used a charm on his book bag and watched as the stitching slowly unraveled.

When Blaise finally stood up he tripped over his laces and landed flat on his face and the contents of his newly organized book bag when sliding across the floor of the Great Hall. Pansy and I burst into laughter and I heard, even though he tried to hide it, Harry laughing from the Gryffindor table. Blaise fixed me and Pansy with a glare as he struggled to untie his laces and collect his things. He tried a repairing spell but with a flick of my wand the stitching would become unraveled again. Blaise finally gave up and settled for carrying all his things to each class.

"What is your problem man? Pansy too? Why are you making my life hell right now?" Blaise asked as we took our seats in transfiguration.

"I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about." I said, flashing him my famous Malfoy smirk.

"Ugh, I seriously don't like you." He said.

"I know." I replied, earning an sigh of defeat from Blaise.

***

The rest of the day went pretty smoothly, Blaise carried all his books and parchments to every class and I caught Harry alone a few times in an empty hallway so I was able to tangle my fingers in his unruly curls and forget about my idiot friend. I enjoyed the moments alone with Harry when I could intertwine my hand with his and lean my head on his chest with out the watchful eyes of everyone else around us.

That night Harry's whimpering echoed through the room, the soft noises were soon replaced by blood curdling screams and I launched out of bed so fast I almost collapsed. I pulled his twitching body close to me and felt him relax into my chest as the nightmare disappeared from his mind. I didn't sleep for a while after that, his screams still sounding in my head.

When I awoke the next morning I found I had slid down from my place against the headboard and all the way onto the mattress. Harry was asleep with his head tucked close to me and his arms wrapped tightly around me. Maybe I should just sleep here with him so he won't have such bad nightmares I thought. He seemed so peaceful this way, very unlike the trembling boy he became during a nightmare. His bright green eyes fluttered open and he slowly unraveled himself from me once he realized what had happened. He grabbed his glasses off the nightstand and looked at me apologetically.

"I'm sorry I keep waking you up." Harry said quietly.

"Don't be, it ok. I actually like laying with you, its comforting." I explained. He smiled and laid his head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and held him close, savoring the moment before we both had to get up for classes.

Harry's POV

The first week of November came and past and I instantly missed the warm weather of September, cold wasn't really my thing. Even though Draco wasn't nearly as tan as I was, he carried so much more body heat it was crazy. As we walked to Hogsmeade, I resisted the urge to stick my hands in his pockets, unfortunately that was sure to draw attention from the four people walking ahead of us. Ron was walking with Hermione, hand in hand, and Pansy and Blaise were taking turns shoving each other off balance at random moments. I, however, walked a good three feet from Draco in the pavement. I didn't want to get to close and raise suspicion, even though I wanted to grab his hand and lace our fingers together and enjoy his warmth.

Draco looked around quickly before lifting his hand to brush a misplaced curl out of my eye and I couldn't help the blush that crept onto my cheeks. When he pulled his hand away he brushed my fingers with his and gave me a warm smile. Draco and I had managed to keep our relationship a secret from almost everyone for two weeks, Rona and Blaise were still completely unaware but I suspected Hermione and Pansy knew(they just some how always knew). I didn't like keeping my relationship with Draco a secret but I knew if everyone were to find out, the press would dig through his life and the Daily Prophet would write all kinds of horrible things. I was the world's Chosen One, having no personal life was a given.

"I'm going to step into Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop for a minute, I want some new quills and stationeries." Draco said, gesturing towards the shop we were passing.

"Me too, I need a new ink well since I lost mine." I said, thinking of a random excuse.

"Ugh fine, just keep your distance I don't want to be associated with you." Draco said rolling his eyes and frowning.

"Alright, we're gonna head to The Three Broomsticks." Ron said before the four others walked away.

Draco and I headed into the quill shop and browed for a little while before fining what we needed. As soon as we were out the door he grabbed my sleeve and pulled me into an empty alley. He checked that no one was watching before crashing his lips onto mine. It didn't last long enough in my opinion but when we pulled away I was completely out of breath. We waited a few moments before walking down the street to join our friends in The Three Broomsticks.

"Seems like it might snow soon." Hermione said on our way back to the castle that evening.

"Ya, it'll be nice for our last Christmas at Hogwarts." I replied.

"I'm gonna miss this place." Ron said sadly.

"Hey don't act like we're leaving just yet, we still have half the year." Blaise said, laughing at Ron's sentiment.

"Don't forget exams." Pansy put in.

"Who could forget the exams with you and Hermione around to remind us." I commented, making everyone laugh.

The six of us made our way through the castle and into the common room. We were an unlikely group of friends, three Gryffindors and three Slytherins, but we made it work. Not to mention how happy McGonagall was when she heard we had all become good friends. We had become the prime example of inter-house unity. It was pretty late when we returned so I headed straight for my dorm to get ready for bed, feet aching from the long walk.

I quickly changed into my pajamas and crawled into bed. I wasn't asleep when Draco came in so I could tell he was hovering by the side of my bed, clearly debating something, before he turned away and got into his own bed. I felt a slight pang of disappointment. I had thought he would ask to sleep with me, I always slept better with him by my side. I couldn't get my brain to relax enough for me to fall asleep, I just laid in my bed watching the ceiling and trying not to think about the war. Then it felt like my legs were moving without my permission. They brought me to the side of Draco's bed and I stood there for a moment before finally speaking.

"Draco?" I whispered, there was silence for a moment before he blinked his eyes open.

"Harry?" He whispered back.

"Um, I was wondering if, er-maybe I could, um--" I started to say before he just smiled and peeled back the blanket before moving out of the center of the bed.

"Come here." He whispered, patting the spot next to him.

I smiled and crawled into his bed. He wrapped and arm around me and pulled me closer to him. It was so warm under his blanket, so cozy. I fell asleep almost instantly, my head tucked into his chest and soothed by his steady breathing and heartbeat. When I opened my eyes again, it was Sunday morning. The sun was shining brightly through the window, casting a warm glow around the room. I summoned my glasses off my nightstand and lifted my head to examine the warm body I was sleeping next to. Draco looked so incredible in the morning light, the sun made his hair shine and I knew that if he opened his eyes they would light up and it would ignite something in my chest that I couldn't quite place. I wanted to wake up every morning next to him, to see his hair when he first wakes up and to kiss him until we're both late for work.

My green eyes were met with grey ones and I smiled as he kissed me good morning. I wrapped my arms tighter around him and laid my head back against his chest a he absentmindedly ran his fingers through my curls. I could have stayed in bed like that all day, and of course because I thought that we became instantly cursed. The loud banging on the door came only a few minutes later, startling both of us. I fell out of Draco's bed and hit the floor with a thud, definitely bruising my hip. I ran to my own bed and made it right before the door opened and Ron came in.

"Oi' get up you lazy lumps." Ron said. I groaned a response and rolled out of bed, wincing slightly at the pain of my hip.

"What time is it?" I asked, exchanging my sweats for jeans but leaving my sweatshirt.

"Almost 10." Ron said before pulling me out of the room just as Draco rolled out of the bed I had been in a moment before.

"Mate, I was sleeping." I grumbled as he yanked me down to the common room.

"Ya but it was time to get up, everyone else is awake." Ron explained. I sighed and followed him to the couches were the rest of our friends were lounging. I wasn't going to lie, I was a little annoyed I couldn't lay in Draco's arms for longer. Draco seemed just as annoyed since when he made is appearance he shot an angry glare at Ron before sitting next to Pansy.

"Morning Dray." Pansy said cheerfully. Draco gave a snort of annoyance.

"Hey man, what's got you're knickers in a twist?" Blaise asked.

"Oh you know I was sleeping peacefully on this fine Sunday and suddenly I'm being frightened awake by an obnoxiously loud red head who should definitely sleep with one eye open." Draco said with a frustrated grunt. Pansy and Blaise started laughing and Ron look a little scared by Draco's threat.

"Awwww did Dwaco not get enough sweep?" Pansy asked in a mocking tone that I've been told is a regular amongst the Slytherins.

"Shut it Pans, its not funny I was prepared to lounge around in bed all day and never move." Draco said with a shy glance towards me. I smiled, glad to know I wasn't the only one who wanted to stay.

"Sorry Draco, they told me to wake you two up." Ron said, pointing at Pansy and Blaise who were still giggling at Draco's annoyed face. Draco huffed in response but otherwise remained silent.

The morning was actually rather nice, Pansy summoned coffee and scones from the Great Hall(s spell she had apparently mastered so she could steal food off of unsuspecting Gryffindor's plates) and Hermione and I taught everyone how to play several card games and discussed the upcoming quidditch game.

"First game of the season, are you prepared to get you're arse beat?" Ron asked Blaise.

"Ha, you wish, Slytherin is so going to win." Blaise said confidently, Draco nodded in agreement.

"No way, Gryffindor has some talented players this year, and me so that's a guaranteed win." I said with a smirk.

"Oh is that so? Don't get too cocky, besides we all know I'm the better seeker." Draco replied, causing Hermione to snicker. "What Mione? You think differently?"

"Ya actually, according to the Gryffindor record, Harry is the best seeker." Hermione argued. Draco feigned betrayal as Pansy burst into laughter.

"Oh sure, we'll see who's really the best tomorrow, won't we." Draco replied. I nodded with a smirk, which he returned. The competition was on.

***

As I put my quidditch game robes on, I had to listen to Ron go over the game plan, again. He was so excited for the first game of the season, I couldn't blame him for wanting to win so badly. We walked out onto the pitch, brooms in hand, the Slytherin team did the same. We took off and Madam Hootch let the 4 balls fly. The snitch circled around my head, and then around Draco's. He gave me a smile before the game began, which I returned happily. I scanned the air for the snitch but I couldn't see it, bloody ball probably wouldn't make an appearance until later.

The game was heated and the score was 150-150. Every time Ginny scored Blaise would score directly after. I flew over to help Ron defend the goal. That's when I saw the snitch, hovering around a Slytherin beater's head. Unfortunately Draco saw it too as we both dove for it at the same time, pulling back just before crashing into each other. The snitch disappeared again and I was shoved out of the way by the Slytherin beater, almost losing my balance but was able to hold on.

The game continued around me but I tuned it out, looking for the little golden ball. I spotted a shimmer in the center of the field hovering above the game. I took off towards it and noticed Draco was right on my tail. We were flying side by side, both of our hands were outstretched, I had a slight advantage since my broom was faster that his Nimbus 2001. I began to inch forward ever so slightly. Just a little more and I would have it. I felt the brush of cold metal as my fingers closed over the snitch! I held t up in celebration as the crowd erupted in a mixture of celebrations and cries of defeats.

"At Potter catches the snitch! Gryffindor wins!" boomed the loud speakers.

I flew back over to Draco and offered him my hand, he shook it and smiled.

"Good game Potter," he said.

"Good game Malfoy," I replied.

I saw something just behind him. A bludger that was hurtling through the air directly towards Draco. I didn't even stop to think I just jumped, right off my broom. I crashed into Draco at full force, knocking him off his broom, causing us both to fall towards the ground. I felt the wind of the bludger as it nearly missed my head and heard Draco grunt as it clipped his shoulder. We had been very high off the ground, which was now becoming increasingly close as we fell. I held onto Draco and expected to feel the ground at any moment. But that feeling never came. When I looked down, I saw we were hovering a few feet away from the ground. Hermione was on the pitch now, her wand extended. That's when I finally let him go, I used my arms to break the short fall, but Draco just hit the ground.

"Harry!" I heard Hermione shout. "Harry are you out of your mind? Why did you just jump off your broom?"

"The bludger, i-it was headed straight for him" I explained, Draco looked stunned at what just happened, his arm was crooked slightly and his face seemed twisted in pain he was trying to suppress.

The rest of the team dismounted and Ron came running over.

"You jumped off your broom to save him?" Ron asked.

"Ya, I did." I scooted closer to Draco and held his face in my hands. "Draco? Draco!"

He looked up at me, finally blinking.

"Are you crazy Harry!" He exclaimed.

"What?" I was very confused.

"Don't ever do that again. You hear me. Do not ever risk your life to save me. Ever!" He scolded.

"Are you hurt?" I asked, still more worried about him than anything else.

"Just my arm." He replied.

McGonagall and Madame Pomfrey were already there, I hadn't noticed them before. The healer used her wand to quickly fix Draco's dislocated shoulder, causing him to bite down hard on his lip as to not cry out in pain.

"Other than that, I'm fine." He said, brushing Madame Pomfrey off him.

"Oh thank goodness!" I exclaimed.

Before I could even think, I rested my forehead on his and then kissed him gently on the lips. It was quick, but everyone saw it, I didn't care. So what if they knew, Draco Malfoy was mine. He seemed to think the same thing since he kissed me again after I pulled away.

"No thank you Harry, you saved me." He said. "Sorry I scolded you."

I laughed at that. No one spoke, no one even moved. They were all too busy staring wide eyed at us. Madame Pomfrey decided the two of us were ok and let us return to our dorm(With the promise of resting of course). Pansy and Hermione walked us back to the common room with Blaise and Ron walking next to us with their jaws practically dragging on the floor. Draco sat on the couch with a heavy sigh and I sat next to him laying my head down in his lap. I was too tired to care about my friends or his. I just wanted to feel him close to me. I felt him run his fingers through my hair as he waited for the bombarding of questions that was sure to come out of Blaise and Ron.

"Would one of you like to explain what in the bloody hell just happened? Scratch that, what in the bloody hell is STILL happening?" Ron asked, he sounded completely bewildered. I couldn't suppress a laugh.

"Well... Harry and I are, sort of, like a er- thing," Draco responded carefully as to not break Ron's mind.

"A thing? What the bloody hell does that mean?" Ron asked, damn he could be so thick sometimes.

"Boyfriend, Ron, Draco's my boyfriend." I responded, sleepily, though I kept my eyes open.

"Precisely." Draco confirmed, affection filled his voice as he stroked my forehead softly.

Ron was just staring, mouth wide open, at Draco and I. Blaise, to his credit, seemed to be doing ok. Hermione and Pansy were both quiet.

"W-when did that happen?" Blaise asked.

"About a month ago," Draco said.

"So when Pansy and Ha--" Blaise looked horrified as Draco nodded. "Oh Merlin I'm so sorry, I had no idea. I thought you like Pansy. I was such an idiot."

"Yes, yes you were." I replied.

"Wait, why are you two so quiet?" Ron asked the two girls.

"Well, I'm the one who helped Draco get over his stupid fear of being with Harry in the first place." Pansy explained.

"And I've known they were together since before they were together." Hermione said.

Draco laughed at that, but the sound was drowned out as sleep washed over me.

I don't remember going to bed that night, but I'm pretty sure Draco carried me. When I woke up he was cuddled close to me, breathing softly. He was so freaking adorable.

Breakfast was interesting, people whispered and stared, some congratulated me and others glared. Ginny seemed to be an emotional mess, and would not stop glaring at me the entire time I ate. But it did come to my attention that some people thought Draco and I had been together since sixth year, at least. A few people even claimed they thought we had been dating since third year. Even though I was used to everyone's attention always on me, it still felt strange to have everyone looking at me and talking about me. I was grateful to McGonagall who pulled me aside after breakfast and said she had cut off all communication to the Daily Prophet before the beginning of the year so Draco and I relationship would remain a secret to anyone outside of Hogwarts. That way we could tell everyone else when we were ready.

I walked with Draco to our first class, hand in hand, earning a few awws from passing girls and more than one glare from a few other students. I paused at the front of the class to discuss a possible extension on the paper I had forgotten about while Draco found a seat. When I got my extension approved, I turned to find Blaise had come in and sat next to Draco. Nope, I was not having that. I stood there next to Blaise, taping my foot angrily. He looked at me with a questioning look. Draco laughed before finally translating my message.

"Blaise, you might want to get up before my boyfriend tears your head off." Draco said.

Blaise seemed to understand, he stood up and allowed me to sit next to Draco.

"Babe, you have to use your words. You can't just kill people with your eyes." Draco whispered.

"Babe?" I questioned.

"You don't like it?"

"No I do." I gave his hand a small squeeze and proceeded to take notes on what the professor was saying.

After all our classes were done, Draco and I grabbed our brooms and went flying for a bit. I had always admired the grace in which he flew. He had this elegance about him when he flew, it was so attractive. We flew next to each other over the Black Lake. The sun was reflecting off of the water, it was so beautiful out, and Draco only made it better.

Draco's POV

I loved flying with Harry, it was so relaxing. His black curls were blowing in the wind, I just wanted to run my fingers through them. I'd gotten more weird looks than usual, some were actually kinder now that I was with Harry. Others, especially that weaslette, were quite unfriendly. I heard one Gryffindor suggest that I slipped Harry a love potion, but Blaise quickly shut that down in the hall. It might have included a hex or two.

Harry gently bumped me with his broom, so I of course bumped him back. Then we flew, bumping each other every few seconds, until we landed on the grass outside Hogwarts, laughing. The yard was empty, most students had already turned in for the night, as Filch would be starting his rounds soon. I didn't care, Harry just looked so amazing in the light of the setting sun. He caught my eye, I didn't feel embarrassed about staring this time. Harry opened his mouth to speak but I silenced him with my lips. His arms instantly went around my neck, as mine went around his waist. It was gentle but passionate, it was perfect. When we pulled away Harry spoke.

"You know I was just about to say kiss me." He smiled

Then he caught my mouth with his, I swept my tongue over his bottom lip, which got a small gasp from him. My tongue explored his mouth, every corner and every crevasse. The kiss became more heated as I moved my mouth from his and to his jaw, trailing small kisses down to his neck. His fingers ran through my hair as I nipped lightly at his neck. I found his sweet spot and nipped at it gently, causing him to let out a small moan, a sound that only fueled the desire that was whirling through us. His knees were shaking slightly, I was pretty sure he was about to fall. He pulled away, however, looked me dead in the eyes and said:

"Bedroom, now."

I nodded and we ran, I mean ran, to our room. Harry and I entered the common room, still kissing, fetching up against the walls and stumbling up the stairs. Our dorm room door slammed open with a loud bang, we ignored it and spilled inside. My robes didn't make it inside the dorm, since Harry tore them off and dropped them in the hallway just short of our dorm. As we crossed the room to my bed, it was closer than his, Harry ripped my shirt open. Buttons flying everywhere. Mom's going to kill me if she finds out why I had to buy a new shirt and new robes. I swiftly removed Harry's shirt and robes, as I pushed him onto the bed. Harry fell gracefully onto his back, pulling me on top of him.

I kissed the curve of his neck and trialed my mouth down to his collarbone. Harry's body arched beneath me, and his hands tightened on my shoulders.

Harry's voice was insistent as he said something, something, then "Draco", then something else.

"Harry," I murmured back, and I felt his body surge beneath me when I did. Harry's hands locked onto my shoulders, he was tense. I stopped what I was doing, and looked at him with growing concern.

Harry's eyes were wide and staring off to the side. I followed his gaze and realized we weren't alone. There was a person sitting on Harry's bed. I mentally cast lumos and saw a familiar girl, with brown curly hair. She was staring at us with startled brown eyes.

"Hermione?" Harry said, startled by his friend.
