Mao Shiyuan had waited quite a while in the private room before the Chen Sinan finally arrived.
When he saw Chen Sinan enter in while dressed in formal attire, Mao Shiyuan put back the wine glass he had just picked up and asked in surprise, “Why did you suddenly want to drink with me?”
Chen Sinan removed his jacket, loosened the tie around his neck, and unbuttoned two of the buttons on his neckline.
Mao Shiyuan looked up at the male god who didn’t reply to his question and began to undress. He was stunned by the man’s action and asked, “What are you doing?”
Chen Sinan glanced at him.
Mao Shiyuan felt like he got goosebumps all over his body. He immediately stood up, waved his hand, and said, “If you have something you want to say, just say it. Male god, please don’t look at me like that!”
There’s no point in using the male beauty trap here. If it was a female that was sitting here, Mao Shiyuan knew that the female would’ve thrown herself at Chen Sinan in less than three seconds.
Chen Sinan slowly sat down and he poured himself a glass of wine in the empty wine glass. He took a sip of the wine and suddenly said, “Phone.”
“What?” Mao Shiyuan was confused by his sudden response.
Chen Sinan repeated himself and said, “Your cellphone.”
Mao Shiyuan didn’t think much of his request as he took out his cellphone and handed it to him. He asked, “You didn’t bring your phone?”
Chen Sinan didn’t reply, he simply gestured for Mao Shiyuan to unlock his phone.
Mao Shiyuan obediently followed his order and unlocked his phone. Feeling surprised when he saw Chen Sinan grab it from his hands, he couldn’t help but ask, “You really didn’t bring your phone with you?”
After Chen Sinan quickly pressed a few buttons on his phone, he returned it to Mao Shiyuan. Only after giving back the phone did Chen Sinan replied, “I did.”
Mao Shiyuan accepted it back, but he was still a little puzzled after hearing his friend’s reply. He asked, “Since you’ve brought your phone, why did you need mine?”
Chen Sinan meaningfully glanced at him.
Mao Shiyuan stared blankly at him at him but then, it seemed as if he finally recalled something as he hurriedly unlocked his phone. He searched his phone for the recording he had of Xin Siyue and Ji Yi and found that it was gone.
Mao Shiyuan exploded, “Chen Sinan, are you retaliating against me?”
Chen Sinan rejected this idea as he replied, “How does deleting a video count as retaliating against you?”
Mao Shiyuan felt that this man was very difficult to understand, “I’m trying to help you out of kindness! What are you trying to do by deleting it?”
“If you aren’t going to delete it, what are you keeping it for? Are you keeping it as a souvenir?”
Mao Shiyuan choked on his words and was unable to respond.
After some time passed, he finally reacted and said, “A-Nan, could it be that Xin Siyue asked you to delete the video? No wonder I feel like there is something fishy going on when you invited me out to drink tonight. It seems that you had dug a pit and waited for me to jump in!”
“Hm?” Chen Sinan slightly looked at Mao Shiyuan from the corners of his eyes.
Mao Shiyuan said, “Today, I had a meal with her. She was determined to steal my phone and delete the video. But of course, she wasn’t able to!”
