Mia's POV
"Freddie!! Ann! Wake up!" I heard Georgie knocking at the door.
"Good morning Freddie!" I said hugging him.
"Morning love!" he said pulling me closer and kissing my head.
"Your brother is at the door!" I said.
"FREDDIE! ANN!!" Georgie said. I could tell he was getting impatient.
"He's getting mad!" Freddie said with a smile. I smiled.
"You better open the door before he breaks it!" I said, still wanting to sleep more.
"You do it!" he said.
"No! I want to sleep! You do it!" I said.
"I love you!" he said kissing me.
"I love you too!" I said.
"Better do it soon or like you said, he's gonna break the door!" he said.
"I hate you!" I said. He smiled. "Georgie! You can open the door!" I said still lying on the bed.
"It's locked!" he said.
"You're a wizard you idiot! Use your wand!" I said.
"No! What if you both were naked!? I don't want to see that sight! Please no!" he said in a teasing way.
"We are not naked you bloody idiot! You can come inside!" I said.
"Open the door already!" he said.
"You two brothers just won't let me sleep!" I said sitting up and walking to the door. "What is it!?" I asked opening the door.
"Mum's calling! Breakfast's ready!" he said.
"And couldn't you tell me this! Why did I have to open the door!?" I said turning back.
"One way to wake you both up! or you would have slept again!" he said.
"Who said I am not going back to sleep again! I want to sleep!" I said walking to the bed. "Freddie! Move over!" I said laying on the bed.
"Come on love!" he said giving me some place and hugging me.
"They broke into Gringotts!" Georgie said.
"What!?" Freddie and I asked together.
Georgie nodded.
"How did you know!?" I asked sitting up.
"Kingsley! Everyone is here! Bill, Charlie, Remus, Tonks!" he said.
"Oh..." I trailed off.
Fred's POV
"How did you know!?" Ann asked sitting up.
"Kingsley! Everyone is here! Bill, Charlie, Remus, Tonks!" Georgie said.
"Oh..." she trailed off. All of us knew what this meant. The war was coming in the next few days.
We heard someone coming up the stairs. It was Remus with a baby.
"Remus!" Ann said and went towards him as he entered the room.
I sat up.
"You do know what this means right!?" Georgie whispered.
"Yeah I know!" I said. I looked at Ann who was speaking to Remus.
"What's his name!?" she asked Remus.
"Teddy! Teddy Lupin!" he said.
"He's so cute! He's just like you!" she said with a smile. She was very happy to see him.
"Remus wanted to show him to you so badly!" Tonks said.
"Oh hey Tonks!" Ann said.
"Co-could I!?" she asked Remus if she could hold Teddy.
"He doesn't like anyone carrying him but yeah sure!" Remus said handing him over to Ann.
Ann took him into her arms so delicately. She started talking the 'baby talk'. She was so happy speak to him, though she wasn't actually speaking to him. I smiled seeing her so happy.
"Hey Fred!" Remus said. "Hey Fred!" Tonks said together.
"Hey Remus, Tonks!" I said.
"How are you!?" Remus asked.
"With her with me! What could ever go wrong!? I completely fine! Except when she is the problem!" I said with a smile. Remus was about to say something when we heard a hitting sound. We saw it was Teddy. He was smiling and hitting Ann's cheek with both his hands. Ann too was smiling.
"Teddy dear! That's no way to behave with Auntie Ann!" Tonks said.
"Auntie!?" Ann and I asked.
"Yeah!" Remus said.
"You don't have to call me Auntie Ann! Ann is enough isn't it! Isn't it!?" she said smiling as she spoke to Teddy. He began hitting her harder as he smiled.
"Teddy!" Remus said.
"It's okay Remus!" Ann said rocking Teddy.
"I have never seen him so happy with someone else other than me and Remus!" Tonks said.
"You know Ann, you'd make a great mother!" Remus said. Ann's smile suddenly faded. She even stopped rocking Teddy.
"Ann!?" I said.
"I'm sorry!" she said handing over Teddy to Remus and she walked into the washroom. I knew she was crying.
"What did I say wrong!? I only said she'd make a great mother!" Remus said looking at me.
"She's just scared about the war...and worried what would happen to me if something happened to her" I said.
"Oh! I'm really sorry! I didn't mean to..." Remus was telling.
"It's okay Remus! You didn't know! She too knows she can't do anything about it but I can't stop her from crying!" I said getting out of bed.
"She's just a child after all! She has all rights to be scared!" Tonks said rocking Teddy.
"Yeah!" I said walking towards the washroom. "Hey Ann! Come on! Come out!" I said knocking at the door.
"We'll give you both some time!" Tonks said and they went out.
"Ann!" I said. She didn't say anything. "Come on! I know you're in there!"
"Yeah yeah! Just give me two minutes!" she said.
"Okay!" I said and went back to the bed and began making the bed. I finished making the bed and she came out.
"Everything will be fine Ann! You don't have to worry about anything!" I said, reassuring her.
"Don't tell me you aren't worrying! You just don't show it when you are with me that's all!" she said.
"I'm always with you!" I said with a smile.
"That's not what I meant! That day...you told you would be pulling off the riskiest...risk! The one which was a gamble on our lives!" she said.
"How did you...you were asleep!" I said.
"That's where you are wrong my dear husband!" she said kissing me on my cheek.
"You...I...how...I thought you were asleep!" I said. I didn't know what to tell.
"And that's where you are wrong!" she said with a smile. She began brushing through my hair, making it proper.
"What are you doing!?" I asked with a chuckle.
"Making your hair proper! It's all ruffled up!" she said. "There! that's better!"
"When did you start worrying about how I look!?" I asked with a smile, pulling her towards me.
"When have I not!? Though I love you however you are!" she said with a smile.
"Anyways! I have to tell you something! Don't cry!" I said.
"Why do you even want to tell me when you think I'm might cry!" she said.
"Fine! I'll not tell you then!" I said. I knew she would ask me to tell her.
"Come on Freddie! Don't leave me hanging like this! Tell me and then I'll see whether to cry or not!" she said.
"Like Remus said, you'd make a great mother!" I said. She didn't say anything. She took a deep breathe.
"Thank you for that compliment!" she said.
"See! That's how you must take it! Think positively! Don't think negatively!" I said.
"And you say I must become a philosopher!" she said with a smile, putting on a top knot.
"Okay Mrs. Weasley! Let's go down!" I said.
"Fine fine! I'm coming!" she said.
We were getting down the stairs when I realized she had called me 'dear husband' just a few minutes ago.
"Did you call me 'dear husband' that time or was I hallucinating!?" I asked her.
"Definitely hallucinating!" she said with a smile.
"Ann!" I said.
"Of course I said 'dear husband'! Why shouldn't I call my own husband 'husband'!?" she said.
"Oh no no! In fact I like!" I said.
"Ann! Sorry about what Remus said!" Tonks said.
"It's okay Tonks!" she said.
"Could you please hold him for some time!?" Tonks asked.
"I'd be more than happy!" she said taking Teddy into her arms, who seemed to be very happy. She began rocking him and we walked into the living room.
"Bill! Charlie! How are you!?" she asked sitting on the couch. I sat down next to her. Mum, dad and others were in the kitchen.
"I'm fine! How are you!?" Bill asked.
"I'm good!" she said.
"Hey I want to hold him!" I said.
"Umm...okay! Be careful!" she said handing Teddy to me.
He began crying as I took him. Ann took him back.
"Did uncle Freddie scare you dear!? Don't worry we'll hit him together!" she said and started hitting my shoulder softly. Teddy too tried to move forward. She brought him near to me and he too began hitting on my head. Everyone laughed at this sight of him hitting me, including Ann. Teddy was smiling.
"Now you don't have to be scared okay!" she said holding his hand and rocking him.
"How are you so good with kids!?" Georgie asked.
"Is she any less than a child!?" I said with a smile.
"Logical enough!" he said agreeing to me. Ann was rocking Teddy and playing with him.
"How was last night!?" Charlie asked.
"Last night!? What happened last night!?" she asked confused.
"We heardz you both broke zsomething!" Fleur said with a smile.
"It was nothing! It just fell down!" she said. I smiled at what she said and knowing that she was lying.
"Then what was 'I asked for answers not kisses' thing!?" Georgie said.
"How did...Freddie!" she said looking at me, still rocking Teddy.
"Not me! Don't look at me! I woke up with you!" I said.
"So you did say that!?" Charlie asked.
"I think Molly's calling me!" she said standing up.
"Mum has told we must stay here and not disturb!" Bill said.
"Oh darn!" she said sitting down, holding Teddy.
"How did you get to know about that!?" I asked Georgie.
"Freddie!" she said.
"What!? They already know!" I said with a smile.
"That doesn't mean you have to confirm it!" she said.
"You just did!" I said with a smile.
She looked at the others. Everyone was smiling at us. Her face was as red as a tomato.
"Okay fine! What happened at Gringotts? Georgie told they broke into Gringotts!" she asked.
"They rode on the back of a dragon and escaped from there!" Bill said.
"Not any dragon! An Ukrainian ironbelly!" Charlie said amazed.
"We are presently not interested in which breed of dragon it is Charlie!" I said.
"Well I am!" he said.
"He's a dragonologist Freddie! He will obviously be interested!" Ann said.
"Okay love!" I said.
"I say it and you argue! When she says it, you say 'Okay love'!?" Charlie said.
"The wife's word is final! Trust me! I know!" Bill said looking at Fleur.
"Zshut it William!" Fleur said.
"Bill! Charlie!" I heard mum calling.
They went into kitchen. It was just me, Ann and Georgie. We saw Teddy was yawning.
"Sleepy dear!?" Ann said and began swaying and humming a tune. A different one.
"Which one is this!?" I asked.
"A different one!" she said.
"Oh thank you for telling me that!" I said sarcastically.
"Okay sorry! This was one of my dad's favourite songs!" she said.
"So thought of any names yet!?" Georgie asked.
"Shh...softly!" she said.
"Okay! Thought of any names!?" he whispered.
"No! Not yet!" I said.
"You better! Soon!" he said.
"Yeah yeah okay!" Ann said with a smile, looking at Teddy who had fallen asleep.
"When did you sleep last night!?" Georgie asked.
"I don't know!" she said. "When did we sleep last night!?" she asked me.
"How am I supposed to know!?" I said.
"By the way...I noticed there was a silencio spell on the door last night!" Georgie said with a smirk. We didn't say anything but just looked at each other and smiled.
"Georgie! Sit next to me!" she said.
"Why!?" he asked.
"Why do you need to ask questions!?" she said.
"Okay fine!" he said and sat next to Ann.
"That's better! The three of us together!" she said holding Teddy and resting her head on my shoulder.
Then Tonks and Remus came into the room.
"He fell asleep!?" Remus asked, completely shocked.
"Yeah why!?" Ann asked with a smile.
"He doesn't sleep! But when he sleeps, he sleeps deeply! Thanks for putting him to sleep!" Tonks said lifting Teddy up.
"You have to leave now!" Remus said.
"Why?" Ann asked.
"She'll leave Teddy at her mother's place!" Remus said.
"Oh okay!" she said.
Tonks left and Remus sat in front of us.
"So Remus! What now!?" I asked.
"We must be ready for anything!" Remus said. We didn't say anything. We kept quiet.
"You know, after the war Ann...you can go back to school and finish it!" Remus said standing up.
"Really!?" she asked.
"Really!" he said with a smile and went into the kitchen.
"You still want to finish school!?" Georgie asked.
"Yeah!" she said. "What do we do now!?"
"I have few things in mind!" I said standing up.
"Okay!" Georgie and Ann said in unison.
We went up to our room and sat down on the floor. I took out the photo album.
"Seriously!? That's the best you've got!?" Georgie asked.
"Have any better ideas!?" I asked sitting next to her.
"That's one way to sum up our memories and time we have spent together though!" Ann said.
"Shut up! We'll get through this!" I said.
We sat together on the floor looking at the photos. The photos from our childhood, our wedding and all the times after that. Of course we did shed tears looking at few photos. Eventually the three of us fell asleep on the floor.
"You three idiots! Get up!!" I heard Charlie.
"What is it!?" I asked.
"They're back!" he said.
"What do you mean!?" Ann asked.
"They are at Hogwarts!" he said.
"So we're leaving!?" Georgie asked.
"Yeah! Get ready soon and come down in five minutes!" he said and left the room.
"I-I didn't see that coming! I didn't expect it to come so soon!" Ann said.
"Neither did I!" Georgie and I said in unison.
"Okay then! Let's get dressed!" I said standing up.
"Yeah okay!" she said and went to her room. I knew she was crying.
"You are gonna have to speak to her before we leave!" Georgie said.
"Yeah I will!" I said.
Mia's POV
"I-I didn't see that coming! I didn't expect it to come so soon!" I said.
"Neither did I!" Georgie and Freddie said in unison.
"Okay then! Let's get dressed!" Freddie said standing up.
"Yeah okay!" I said and went to my room.
I couldn't believe the war was finally here. We knew this day was coming but I didn't expect it to come so soon. I took out my mum's navy blue trench coat. And it was the usual combination, black jeans and my black boots, a black top.
"You know we are going to a war right!?" I heard Georgie from behind.
"Of course!" I said turning back.
"That's a very nice coat! It's gonna get dirty or worse! It's your mum's after all! You might want to keep it with you!" he said sitting on the bed.
"I am!" I said.
"You haven't had your visions from a few days!" he said.
"I know!" I said sitting on the bed. "Where's Freddie!?" I asked.
"Getting dressed!" he said.
"Promise me one thing Georgie! I know I have asked you before but I'll ask you again!" I said.
"Look after Freddie if something happens! Don't worry nothing will happen!" he said.
"Promise me!" I said.
"I promise!" he said.
"Thank you!" I said hugging him.
"Anything for you!" he said.
"Georgie!!" I heard Freddie calling him.
"Come on!" he said. We went down and saw Freddie.
"You seriously wearing this one!?" he asked.
"Yeah! What's wrong with it!?" I asked.
"Nothing! It's just too good!" he said.
"It's okay Freddie!" I said.
"Hey guys! They are calling you!" Charlie said.
We went inside and saw everyone was serious.
"You are all part of the Order! We have to..." Kingsley was saying.
"Wait! I'm not a part of the Order! When did I become...." I was saying when Freddie interrupted me.
"From when you do follow the rules!?" Freddie asked.
"Ann! You were always a part of the Order after the fight at the Ministry!" Remus said. I took some time to inculcate things.
"Okay!" I said.
"Fred! George! You're in charge in defending the entrances and passageways into the school!" Kingsley said.
"Will do!" Freddie and Georgie said in unison.
"And Ann!" Kingsley was telling.
"I know!" I said sternly. "I know!", this time a bit softly.
"Good! You're the game changer! You do your job and we're in the endgame!" Kingsley said.
"Yeah!" I said. Freddie put my arms around me in a reassuring manner.
"We are fighting in a war! There's no seriously injure...it's a direct kill! You must not hesitate...even if they are your family!" Kingsley said. I knew he was referring to me. I could feel everyone looking at me.
"We leave in ten minutes!" Kingsley said.
I went to my room and sat on the window sill as usual.
"Hey love!" I heard Freddie. I didn't say anything. "Ann?" he said sitting opposite to me on the sill.
"I'm such a bad person!" I said.
"Don't say that love! You are one of the best and purest person I have ever seen!" he said.
"You're just saying that! I know what I am! It's because of me the war started, it's because of me people are gambling on their lives with only hopes of winning and surviving. And I have to kill my own sister, which I don't mind though 'cause she killed dad! But still!" I said.
"Ann! It's not your fault that you and your sister were meant to be the discrete twins!" Georgie said.
"It's not...what is something happened to any of them... what is something happened to the two of you!?" I said.
"Nothing is going to happen to the any of us Ann!" Freddie said.
"You-Don't-Know-That!" I said.
"Yeah! You're right! I don't know that! But I do know we are definitely not doing the wrong thing!" he said.
"We'll get through this together Ann!" Georgie said.
"Ann, we are fighting for us, our future! We want the next generation, our kids to be safe!" he said.
"O-Okay!" I said.
"We should probably leave!" Georgie said.
"Yeah!" Freddie said. "Come on love! It's just this one bloody war and we're free! Then we'll have nothing to fear!"
"Okay! Just give me two minutes!" I said.
"Sure love! But come down soon okay!?" he said.
"Yeah okay!" I said.
I waited till they went down. I took out the dairy and went down to their bedroom. I had written few things in it, in case something happened to me. I kept it on Freddie's bed and went down.
"There's my girl!" Freddie said.
"Where's your other wand!?" Georgie asked.
"Here!?" I said taking out of boots.
"A very nice place to keep Dumbledore's wand!" he said sarcastically as I kept it inside.
"Trust me! It's the best place!" I said standing up.
"You and your best places!" he said.
"Fine! Shut your talks Let's go!" Kingsley said.
Freddie held my hand tight. I took a deep breathe and we walked out, ready to face the war.
